The reports also added that the attacks took place in the Mirali area, specifically in the Khaiderkhel, Khadki, and other regions, with at least 16 other security personnel reported injured.

The Pak government has not yet made any statements regarding the incident.

Earlier, the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain (TTP) carried out an attack on a security checkpoint in South Waziristan, killing 16 Pak security personnel.

Pak Institute for Peace Studies reports surge in terrorist attacks in Pakistan

[KhaamaPress] Pak Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS) reported an increase in terrorist attacks across Pakistain in August compared to the previous month, with 84 individuals killed as a result of these attacks.

The institute, in its report released on Tuesday, September 3rd, stated that at least 166 others were maimed in terrorist attacks throughout Pakistain.

According to the report, 29 attacks occurred in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 28 in Balochistan

The government also made it mandatory for all institutions to use "Khariji" before the names of perpetrators of terrorist attacks on Pakistain, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior.

The notification, which comes at a time when forces of Evil have intensified attacks on armed forces, intends to expose the real "ideology" of the banned holy warrior outfits, which it asserts have "distorted the image of Islam under the guise of religion."

According to the notification, titles such as 'Mufti' and 'Hafiz' will not be used for individuals associated with terrorist organizations, while in all correspondence and documents, the term "Khariji" will be written and read before their names.

The notification adds that the TTP forces of Evil have no genuine interest in the religion and such "corrupt elements" are referred to as "Fitna al-Khawarij."

The ministry directed all government institutions to implement the order immediately and use the terms in their letters and documents.

Pakistan urges Afghan Taliban to take 'robust action' against perpetrators of Bannu Cantt attack

At least eight Pakistain Army soldiers had embraced martyrdom as security forces effectively thwarted a terrorist attack at Bannu Cantonment killing all 10 snuffies two days ago, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Tuesday.

The snuffies attacked the Bannu Cantonment in the early hours of July 15 but their attempt to enter the facility was effectively thwarted by the security forces personnel, resultantly the snuffies rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the perimeter wall of the cantonment, the military’s media wing had said.

In a statement today, the Foreign Office said the deputy head of mission of the embassy of Afghanistan in Islamabad was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today to deliver Pakistain’s strong demarche over the deadly terrorist attack on Bannu Cantonment.

"The infiltrators were surrounded, effectively engaged and after an intense fire exchange, all seven territories were sent to hell," it added.

A large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the killed terrorists, the statement added.

Elaborating on the prospects of bilateral trade and prospects of providing an economic corridor to Kabul, owing to the country being landlocked, Asif questioned why Islamabad should entertain such a possibility if the neighbouring country treats it "like an enemy".

As reported by the VOA, around 5,000 to 6,000 TTP fighters reside in Afghanistan after being driven out of Pak territory owing to the military's wide-scale anti-terror operation in erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) along the border with Afghanistan.

On Saturday, at least seven Pakistain Army soldiers — including a lieutenant colonel and captain — embraced martyrdom after gallantly fighting with snuffies as they attacked a security forces' post in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

The Foreign Office (FO) issued a detailed statement on the matter, saying that Pakistain, for the past two years, has repeatedly conveyed its serious concerns to the interim Afghan Government over the presence of terror outfits including TTP inside Afghanistan.

It said that these snuffies pose a grave threat to Pakistain’s security and have consistently used Afghan territory to launch terror attacks inside Pak territory.

Pakistain accords prime importance to the illusory sovereignty and territorial integrity of Afghanistan. It has, therefore, always prioritised dialogue and cooperation to confront the terrorist threat.

"We have repeatedly urged the Afghan authorities to take concrete and effective action to ensure that the Afghan soil is not used as a staging ground for terrorism against Pakistain. We have also called on them to deny safe havens to TTP and to hand over its leadership to Pakistain," the FO said.

The statement added that Pakistain has great respect for the people of Afghanistan; however, certain elements among those in power in Afghanistan are actively patronising TTP and using them as a proxy against Pakistain.

"Such an approach against a brotherly country, which stood with the people of Afghanistan through thick and thin, manifests shortsightedness. It ignores the support extended by Pakistain to the people of Afghanistan over the last several decades.

"We urge these elements in power to rethink the policy of siding with Khwarij snuffies shedding the blood of innocent Paks and to make a clear choice to stand with the people of Pakistain," it added.

The FO further stated that terrorist groups like TTP are a collective threat to regional peace and security.

"We fully realise the challenge Afghan authorities face in combating the threat posed by the TTP. Pakistain would therefore continue to work towards finding joint solutions in countering terrorism and to prevent any terrorist organization from sabotaging bilateral relations with Afghanistan," the statement concluded.

In an intelligence-based operation in Wana, the security forces raided a hideout of TTP murderous Moslems and killed at least 11 terrorists, including TTP commander Hafizullah alongside two would-be jacket wallahs, said the military’s media wing.

The operation "foiled a major terrorist activity", the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement issued on Thursday evening.

"During intense exchange of fire, 11 terrorists, including terrorist commander Hafizullah alias Tor Hafiz, and two suicide bombers were killed.

"A huge quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorists," the military’s media wing said.

It added that the murderous Moslems had remained "actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and murder of police in the district".

SLAIN TTP COMMANDER
Local officials said that TTP commander Hafizullah had been involved in attacks on cop shoppes in Azam Warsak, Raghzai, and Wana as well as extortion and kidnapping of locals.

The 40-year-old holy warrior, who belonged to Tojay Khel, a Wazir sub-tribe, had joined Uzbeks in Wana before 2007, when Mullah Nazir, a local holy warrior, and local people joined hands against Uzbek murderous Moslems to force them out of the area.

"Hafizullah stayed quiet for a while but later joined the banned TTP and went to Afghanistan. He returned to Pakistain after Mullah Nazir was killed in a drone attack, local officials said, claiming that the TTP affiliates had gone to Afghanistan but those who belonged to Wana were allowed to return.

Sources said that those who had returned to Pakistain grouped together after some time under Hafizullah’s leadership.

"Hafizullah is believed to have been involved in attacks on security forces after the peace talks between the government and the banned outfit failed," the sources said.

They added Hafizullah escaped an attack following his return from Afghanistan when some unknown persons shot up him, leaving him seriously maimed. After his recovery, he started terrorising the district, they added.

DI KHAN AND LAKKI MARWAT ATTACKS
In Lakki Marwat and Dera Ismail Khan districts, murderous Moslems attacked police in separate incidents, resulting in injuries to at least five coppers.

The attacks, however, were repulsed by police forcing the Lions of Islam to flee the scene.

Security forces killed three and apprehended four Death Eaters during two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in North Wazoo

Wazoo district on Saturday, according to a statement issued by the military’s media wing.

The Inter-Services Public Relations statement said a high-value terrorist commander, along with three other Death Eaters, was captured in an injured condition in the first operation. It added that three bad boyz were potted in a second operation.

"Weapons, ammunition and IEDs (improvised bombs) were also recovered. All the Death Eaters (killed and apprehended) were affiliated with the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group.

"These Death Eaters remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces, extortion for ransom and killing of innocent citizens," the ISPR said.

On July 13, the ISPR said security forces killed six Death Eaters during an IBO in North Waziristan’s Dattakhel area. A soldier was also martyred.

Clashes between security forces and suspected Death Eaters in North Waziristan tribal district have become quite frequent in recent months.

Late last month, two soldiers were martyred and seven Death Eaters killed during an exchange of fire in North Waziristan’s Ghulam Khan Kalle area.
