The brigades confirmed that the bombing, using ''precision missiles,'' was part of the ''Al-Aqsa Flood'' operation, which began on October 7, 2023.

Of course they did. Then the IDF declared the area where the rocket launchers were as off limits, and warned the residents to leave for the safe enclaves, lest they get caught in the IDF’s latest clearance operation. In the meantime, the IDF shot down the rockets or watched them fall harmlessly in Israeli fields, in the Mediterranean, or somewhere in Gaza, upon which Hamas blamed the resulting deaths on the eeeeeeevil IDF.

This attack is part of a series of rocket attacks by the Paleostinian resistance against occupation sites in response to the escalating aggression and the targeting of civilians and infrastructure in Gaza, particularly following the massacres in the Zeitoun and Shuja'iyya neighborhoods.

No doubt Hamas feels better for having shot their wad, as the cannoneers used to say, however ineffectually.

The situation in Gaza is witnessing a major escalation with the continued resistance attacks on the advancing Israeli occupation forces through ground ambushes and intensive shelling.

IDF says Gaza terrorists behind Wednesday rocket fire killed in drone strike

The IDF says the Gaza terror cell responsible for yesterday’s rocket fire at Sderot and Ibim was “eliminated” in a drone strike just minutes after the launch from northern Gaza.

Separately, it says troops across multiple divisions have continued to operate in the Strip.

Troops of the 162nd Division have targeted terrorists and underground infrastructure in the north, it says, while the 188th Armored Brigade in the south recently uncovered rifles, pistols, magazines, and mortars in the Khan Younis area.

Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli Air Force struck around 150 targets, including underground routes, military structures, sniper positions, and other terror infrastructure, the military says.

The IDF says its operations, carried out with intelligence from the Shin Bet and Military Intelligence Directorate, aim to eliminate threats against Israeli civilians.

Abu Obeida revealed that Israeli occupation forces are surrounding a location where Israeli captive Matan Zangauker is being held, however, he warned in a statement on his Telegram channel today that Israeli troops would not be able to retrieve him alive, holding the Israeli military fully responsible if he is killed during any rescue attempt.

In the meantime, Paleostinian Resistance® factions continue to face Israeli occupation forces in Gaza, launching various operations against Israeli troops across the Strip. The al-Quds Brigades announced they shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles advancing near the eastern Satar area, northeast of Khan Younis, with a barrage of 60mm mortar shells.

Additionally, the al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters had successfully ambushed yesterday an Israeli unit that was sheltering inside a house in Tal al-Zaatar, east of the Jabalia refugee camp.

The al-Mujahideen Brigades, on its part, revealed that its fighters, upon returning from the frontlines, confirmed they had targeted a gathering of ''Zionist enemy forces'' east of al-Shujaiya in northern Gaza with mortar shells, inflicting direct casualties. The brigades stated that Israeli forces had confirmed at least one soldier was maimed in the attack.

The Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades announced that its fighters, upon returning from combat, confirmed they had successfully targeted gatherings of Zionist enemy forces stationed north of Beit Lahia with two 107mm rockets. They framed the operation as part of their ongoing response to the occupation's crimes against their people.

Hamas issues new photo of hostage Matan Zangauker

[IsraelTimes] Hamas on Saturday published a new photo of hostage Matan Zangauker, claiming Israeli troops were “besieging” the area where he was being held in Gaza and threatening to execute him should troops come near.

The military stressed in a statement that no attempt had been made to extract Zangauker.

In the image, Zangauker is propped up on his side as a blanket covers his lower body, while an IV drip bag can be seen in the background.

“We affirm that the enemy will not be able to recover him alive. We have preserved his life for 20 months; if this prisoner is killed during an attempt to free him, the occupation army will be the one responsible for his death,” said Hudhaifa Kahlout — known by the nom de guerre Abu Obeida — the spokesman for Hamas’s military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades.

”He’s a human shield, O Yahoods. To get to us you will go through him, dead or alive.”

“This is a final warning,” he added.

The photo was published amid intensified military operations throughout Gaza, as negotiations for a new ceasefire and hostage release deal continue.

Channel 12 reported in May that Zangauker was struggling to stand on his own and was suffering from ongoing intestinal problems and stomach pains. The report was based on an account by released American-Israeli hostage Edan Alexander, who was held alongside him.

It was reported at the time that Zangauker has gone through long periods of closing himself off in a corner of the tunnel where he is held, refusing to speak or eat, and suffers from shakes and weakness due to muscular atrophy.

Zangauker was kidnapped on October 7, 2023, from his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz, alongside his girlfriend, Ilana Gritzewsky. Gritzewsky was released on November 30, 2023, as part of a temporary ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel.

Hamas has previously said it would execute hostages if Israeli troops were seen approaching areas where they are being held. In August 2024, Hamas murdered six hostages in Rafah as Israeli forces operated nearby, though the troops were unaware of the hostages’ presence. Their bodies were found a few days after their executions.

Military officials have repeatedly said that every strike and ground operation in Gaza is carefully planned out in order not to endanger Israeli hostages, based on Israeli intelligence.

In this context, al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters managed to snipe four Zionist occupation soldiers in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza, leaving them dead or injured.

Israeli media outlets reported casualties among a special Army force in Rafah, South of Gaza, adding that 4 injured soldiers, including 3 seriously, have been evacuated.

In a statement, Abu Hamza criticized the Israeli enemy for oppressing and torturing Paleostinian prisoners, even stripping away their joy of freedom at the moment of release.

He noted that forcing released prisoners to wear clothing with hostile messages and exposing their poor health reflects the enemy's brutality.

''What is required of all countries of the world, especially America, which demands the Paleostinian resistance to release all enemy prisoners, is to demand the same from the enemy,'' Abu Hamza said.

He stressed that America should not ignore the horrific scenes of suffering, abuse, and systematic killing of Paleostinian prisoners who are subjected to all kinds of torture in the enemy's prisons.

First testimonies: Dekel-Chen was tortured by Hamas, didn’t know his family survived; Troufanov didn’t know his father was murderedq
[IsraelTimes] Channels 12, 13, and Kan TV tonight carry bits of information from today’s freed hostages that they have conveyed to their families and that the military censor has permitted for publication.

Among the key details:

All three of the hostages freed today endured “very harsh captivity, including physical abuse.”

All three were very hungry when released. All three have learned Arabic in captivity.

Sagui Dekel-Chen and Iair Horn were held together, and with other hostages, in recent days. For most of their captivity, they were in tunnels.

They were held with other hostages and have returned with signs of life regarding at least three.

Both men were wounded when they were abducted and suffered abuse that exacerbated their injuries.

Sasha Troufanov was held alone.

All three were held in Khan Younis, from where they were freed today, mere hundreds of meters from their homes on Kibbutz Nir Oz.

Iair Horn has told his family that he and his brother Eitan were held together early in their captivity, but not recently. He has said Eitan is injured in the leg. He was compelled by his captors to film a video in which he talks about Eitan, Kan reports.

He has lost tens of kilograms in weight, and received almost no medical treatment.

His captors gave Horn an hourglass with a picture of Einav Zangauker, whose son Matan is held hostage, which the IDF intends to give to her, according to Kan.

Dekel-Chen was “tortured during interrogations” by his captors, Channel 12 reports. He has scars on his body, the report says.

He was held in a Gaza hospital for the first few weeks of his captivity along with other hostages, Kan reports. One of them was Itzik Elgarat.

The report says that Dekel-Chen knew nothing about what had become of his family for the entire time he was held hostage. He was completely cut off from all media. “He both mourned and cried” for his family, and also “held out hope for them and was optimistic.”

He only found out two days ago that he was going to be released.

Kan says Dekel-Chen’s captors told him, apparently shortly before his release, that he had a daughter born while he was in captivity, and gave him earrings for his wife. Dekel-Chen didn’t believe what they told him, and asked the IDF representatives he met on his release to confirm it.

Dekel-Chen was wounded in his shoulder on October 7, 2023, but told the IDF representatives it was not important, and that “the most important thing is that I meet my family already.”

In recent hours, he reunited with his daughters, the Channel 12 report says.

Sasha Troufanov did not know that his father was killed on October 7 and burst into tears when told today by IDF representatives.

He barely saw TV or heard the radio in captivity. He did not know that his family was struggling to get him released. But he did hear the radio at the time of the first truce in November 2023 and learned that his mother and girlfriend had been freed.

[GEOTV] The Israeli military said its forces killed five Palestinian "fighters" in the occupied West Bank on Thursday in a second day of operations that have killed 14 in total.

"Following exchanges of fire, the forces eliminated five [fighters] who had hidden inside a mosque" in Tulkarem on Thursday morning, the military said.

On Wednesday, the military said it killed nine "fighters" in simultaneous raids in several West Bank cities and refugee camps.

Palestinian fighters threaten PA security services after Tulkarm hospital incident

[NEWARAB] Paleostinian fighters threatened to shoot members of the Paleostinian Authority's (PA) security services on Friday after forces allegedly tried to arrest a senior murderous Moslem from a hospital in the occupied West Bank.

's armed wing the al-Quds Brigades, made the threat after the alleged attempt to raid Tulkarm's Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital to arrest Mohammed Jaber.

Both Fatah, the faction that dominates the Paleostinian Authority, and the local governor said security forces entered the hospital for other reasons. Fatah said forces sought to protect Jaber after reports of Israeli special forces in the city.

Jaber, also known as Abu Shujaa, commands the Tulkarm Battalion affiliated with the al-Quds Brigades.

The Jenin Battalion said in a statement: "We direct our message to personnel of the security services.

"We declare before God and all people that they, like the enemy [Israel], only understand the language of bullets and force.

"If anyone attacks us, we will attack them in kind. And those who abuse or shed the blood of the mujahideen [fighters] and the mothers of the deaders will meet our response accordingly."

The Jenin Battalion said "masked and heavily armed" members of the security forces "appeared before us" to "besiege and storm one of the hospitals in Tulkarm, attempting to arrest the commander and man pursued by the occupation [Israel] Abu Shujaa al-Jaber after he was injured".

The group said security forces had done this before in the city of Jenin, trying to "arrest and abduct" members of the Jenin Battalion from a hospital there.

"They also assaulted the mothers of the deaders who went to protect their sons, and they had done the same previously with the mothers of the deaders of the Jenin Battalion who were visiting the city of Tulkarm," the group added.

Paleostinian Islamic Jihad said in a statement that "before the ink has dried on the reconciliation agreements signed at the Beijing conference" the PA's security services "have proceeded to surround" Abu Shujaa.

Contradictory statements

Fatah and the governor of Tulkarm issued two contradictory statements about what happened at Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital but agreed on defending the security services.

Governor Mustafa Taqatqa said Paleostinian security stormed the hospital to prevent it from being raided by armed individuals, while the Fatah movement in Tulkarm said the forces entered to protect Abu Shujaa after reports of Israeli special forces in the city.

Taqatqa said an injured person arrived injured at the medical facility and that security went to investigate as normal.

After they arrived, according to the governor, they were shot at and a group of people then tried to storm the hospital and the security forces handled them to maintain the hospital's security and the safety of the patients.

The forces withdrew without making any arrests to preserve Paleostinian blood and protect civil peace.

Fatah in Tulkarm said in its statement that it intervened in cooperation with Taqatqa to maintain internal unity and the security establishment's desire to protect national resources and institutions.

The movement said security forces were present because of information that Israel planned to raid the hospital to arrest an injured person.
