India opens ''Operation Sindoor'' against Pakistan
2025-05-07
[TIMESOFINDIA.INDIATIMES] Under 'Operation Sindoor', the armed forces on Wednesday targeted and destroyed nine terror hideouts belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba
...the Army of the Pure, an Ahl-e-Hadith terror organization founded by Hafiz Saeed. LeT masquerades behind the Jamaat-ud-Dawa facade within Pakistain and periodically blows things up and kills people in India. Despite the fact that it is banned, always an interesting concept in Pakistain, the organization remains an blatant tool and perhaps an arm of the ISI...
, and Hizbul Mujahideen
...Party of Holy Warriors, founded by Muhammad Ahsan Dar in September 1989. One of the Pak sock puppets waging jihad in Indian Kashmir. It was originally organized as the armed wing of Jamaat-e-Islami. In 1990, Dar declared Hizbul as the sword arm of Jamaat. Hizbul murdered many of the pro-independence intelligentsia in Kashmir. After the organization was taken over by Syed Salahuddin Dar and several other ex-Hizb leaders were assassinated between 2001 and 2003...

in Pakistain and Pakistain-occupied Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
.This marked India's most decisive strike in response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 non-combatants were killed. According to the Ministry of Defence, the Indian Air Force conducted precision strikes on four terror sites inside Pakistain and five within PoK. The ministry described the operation as ''focused, measured and non-escalatory,'' adding that no Pak military installations were targeted. ''These actions are in direct response to the horrific Pahalgam attack,'' the Defence Ministry said in its statement, adding, ''We are upholding our commitment to ensure that those responsible for the attack face consequences.'' The Indian government later released an official video declaring the mission a success, while Pak authorities were reportedly caught off guard.

JUI-F announces rally in Lahore to express solidarity with Gaza
2025-04-22
Making no difference whatsoever, but at least it gets them out in the healthy fresh air and sunshine.
[GEO.TV] Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam
...Assembly of Islamic Clergy, or JUI, is a Pak Deobandi (Hanafi) political party. There are two main branches, one led by Maulana Fazlur Rahman, and one that was led by Maulana Samiul Haq. Fazl is active in Pak politix and Sami spent more time running his madrassah until his secretary rubbed him out in a jealous rage. Both branches sponsor branches of the Taliban, though with plausible deniability...
-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman
...Deobandi holy man, known as Mullah Diesel during the war against the Soviets, his sympathies for the Taliban have never been tempered by honesty. Fazl seldom misses a meal and is now so large he has his own gravitational pull...
expressed serious concerns over the situation in Paleostine and announced a protest rally at Minar-e-Pakistain in Lahore to show their solidarity with the people of Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Addressing a joint presser flanked by Jamaat-e-Islami
...The Islamic Society, founded in 1941 in Lahore by Maulana Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, aka The Great Apostosizer. The Jamaat opposed the independence of Bangladesh but has operated an independent branch there since 1975. It maintains close ties with international Mohammedan groups such as the Moslem Brotherhood. the Taliban, and al-Qaeda. The Jamaat's objectives are the establishment of a pure Islamic state, governed by Sharia law. It is distinguished by its xenophobia, and its opposition to Westernization, capitalism, socialism, secularism, and liberalist social mores...
(JI) Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Fazl said: ''The [current] situation in Paleostine is a matter of deep concern for the entire Moslem Ummah.''

He invited the religious parties and the people to attend the proposed rally at the Minar-e-Pakistain.

Lambasting the rulers, the JUI-F chief said that those who are in power have failed to fulfil their responsibilities towards Gaza. He added that the JUI-F will soon launch a countrywide awareness campaign.

Inside the new fifth column-Meet the CAIR-Linked Group That Aims To Place Muslim Americans in Federal Jobs
2025-03-26
[WashingtonFreeBeacon] Muslim Americans in Public Service's ties to terrorist supporters could raise concerns about its efforts to place employees inside government

Muslim Americans in Public Service is a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit that coordinates with federal agencies to help Muslims obtain and advance careers in government. To do so, it partners with Islamic organizations, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations,
…one of many branches of the Muslim Brotherhood in America…
that have either condoned terror attacks or have been linked to terrorist organizations.

In addition to CAIR, the nonprofit known as MAPS touts the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations as one of its partners and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and Helping Hand for Relief and Development as two of its sponsors. MAPS has worked with CAIR to host events that bring together MAPS members "across all levels and branches of government." And while it does not disclose its donors, it says it receives "sizable in-kind donations" from its partners, as well as funding from "federal agencies," nonprofits, and state commissions.
Perhaps it’s time to cut them off from federal agencies — turn DOGE loose on them to figure out donation flows, and maybe member connections if they have a little spare time and bandwidth in the midst of all else that they’ve got going.
MAPS’s affiliation with those groups—all of which have praised or been linked to terrorist organizations—could raise concerns about its efforts to place employees inside the federal bureaucracy. While it's unlikely MAPS will have success placing political appointees in the Trump administration, which has opposed affinity groups that support DEI initiatives in federal agencies and is staunchly at odds with MAPS's criticism of Israel, the group's top members include some career officials entrenched in the federal government.

MAPS thrived during the Biden administration and now boasts thousands of members, including intelligence community officials who hold high-level security clearances, according to Maaty, the group’s chairman.
Formed in 2021, MAPS is led by a board of current and former career federal employees, according to the group’s website and their LinkedIn profiles. Ahmad Maaty, the founding chairman of MAPS, is a senior economist at the Department of Justice. Other board members include Veterans Affairs official Hasan Shanawani, Office of Management and Budget examiner Farrah Pappa, United Nations mission adviser Mariya Ilyas, and White House policy analyst Ameer Abdulrahman, a former official for Democratic Senate candidate Morgan Harper.

While MAPS largely focuses on job-related issues that impact its members, it has weighed in on some political issues. The group criticized the Biden administration over its support for Israel in the war against Hamas, saying that it "disagrees with many of the policy positions taken by the current Administration." It also condemned the 2023 censure of Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) over her statements calling for the eradication of Israel and denounced the removal of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) from the House Foreign Affairs Committee over anti-Semitic remarks.

Since then, MAPS has hosted panels and networking events thanks to support from its terror-tied partners.

Earlier this month, for example, MAPS hosted an event that ICNA and Helping Hand cosponsored. One of its featured speakers, Nicole Fauster-Bradford, is the community advocacy director at CAIR. She spoke alongside Sarah Khasawinah, a senior policy adviser in the Senate.

Former ICNA president Mohsin Ansari has spread anti-Semitic tropes about the "liberal anti Muslim media headed by Jews," according to reports. He has also praised Delwar Hossain Sayeedi, a Bangladeshi cleric convicted of war crimes against Hindus, as a "very, very, very special person." Congress has investigated both ICNA and Helping Hand over their alleged links to Jamaat-e-Islami
...The Islamic Society, founded in 1941 in Lahore by Maulana Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, aka The Great Apostosizer. It is distinguished by its xenophobia, and its opposition to Westernization, capitalism, socialism, secularism, and liberalist social mores...
, a Pakistani terrorist group.

CAIR, for its part, was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a federal Hamas financing case in 2008. The Biden White House distanced itself from the group after its executive director stated he was "happy" about the Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023.

In addition to the March event, MAPS held an annual networking event in January that ICNA and Helping Hand cosponsored. It featured Ansari as a speaker.

In a statement sent to the Washington Free Beacon, MAPS said it "engages independent organizations with various audiences," like CAIR, ICNA, and Helping Hand, "to increase its civic engagement and reach those with a desire to serve the public." It did not answer questions on CAIR's Oct. 7 rhetoric and the groups' ties to terror organizations.

MAPS thrived during the Biden administration and now boasts thousands of members, including intelligence community officials who hold high-level security clearances, according to Maaty, the group’s chairman.
Oh? Tracing connections could prove profitable, should the Trump administration be interested in reducing the concentration of probable jihadis in America…
In 2023, then-transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg recorded a video message praising MAPS, saying that "so many core Islamic values reflect American values." In April 2024, the group hosted an event at the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Agriculture where then-secretary Tom Vilsack spoke in praise of the group. ICNA and Islamic Relief USA, a subsidiary of Islamic Relief Worldwide, which Israeli authorities sanctioned for allegedly funneling money to Hamas. The State Department condemned Islamic Relief Worldwide in 2020 over its leaders’ "vile anti-Semitic vitriol."

Catholic Charities of Fort Worth is working with a Muslim Organization with ties to Islamic terrorism.
2024-10-10
[X] It’s been a few weeks since we’ve talked about @CCFortWorth and the nearly billion dollars they’ve received from Biden-Harris to give money to illegal aliens. It took them a while, but after their emergency PR meeting to discuss our report, they responded - you can read that here, which was sent out to Catholics in Fort Worth (you can also read the Q&A letter they sent here. We do have another bombshell for you today, but first, we want to address a few points from their response.

In the letter by their CEO Michael Iglio (@Michael_Iglio), they assure readers that money only goes to "legal immigrants." On its face, that’s true. But, as JD Vance said, if migrants are made "legal" by an illegal wave of the wand from the Biden-Harris administration, that doesn’t mean very much. For example: in the last few weeks many people, including President Trump, have pointed out that "legal" Haitian migrants are eating people’s dogs and cats. You should know that the grant program CCFW is receiving much of this money from, HHS Assistance Listing Number 93.56, specifically includes these Haitians as a group that can receive the money.

Iglio also says that their program, the Texas Office for Refugees, "administers federal funds from the Office of Refugee Resettlement and partners with more than two dozen nonprofits across Texas." They do indeed provide grant money to other organizations, but that statement is somewhat misleading. To be clear, $71 million of the federal grant money, according to CCFW’s 2023 audit, was spent directly by the organization last year. Proof of that can be found here.

Now to that bombshell we mentioned earlier.

CCFW’s CEO said that they partner with other nonprofits. You should know that one of these nonprofits with which they partner is a Muslim organization that advocates for ending the Israeli "apartheid state" and "brutal military occupation," has ties to Muslim terrorist organizations, hosts Hamas protests at the Texas and US Capitols, and echoes calls of the Palestinian president to fight "the Zionists."

Islamic Circle of North America has partnered with Catholic Charities of Fort Worth for years. In a Fort Worth Report Article from 2021, an officer for their Dallas branch named Hala Halabi said about Catholic Charities of Fort Worth that the organization had "been there, I mean, step by step, with us." In 2022, Islamic Circle's Relief organization posted about an event on their Facebook, saying "It is always nice meeting with our great partner Texas Office for Refugees" (the department of CCFW).

The relationship between CCFW and Islamic Circle didn’t stop there. Just this April, Biden’s Assistant Secretary of the Population, Refugees, and Migration Bureau held an event with both CCFW and Islamic Circle thanking them for their help in bringing migrants into the country; she said that, with the help of these organizations, they had brought in 50,000 people by April 11th of this year.

CCFW is still working with and promoting the Islamic Circle - even this very minute. On the website for the Texas Office of Refugees - which Michael Iglio said is a department of CCFW - they have a list of "service providers." There are 22 organizations on the list and two of them are Islamic Circle Dallas and Islamic Circle Fort Worth. In summary, 10% of the providers promoted on their website are chapters of Islamic Circle.

As an aside: you can see on the provider map of the Texas Office for Refugees (CCFW), that Islamic Circle's Fort Worth office is right down the street from CCFW.

As previously mentioned, Islamic Circle holds protests calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, and even refers to Israel as an "apartheid state." They even have a program that advocates for polygamy! Islamic Center has a program under its umbrella called "WhyIslam." WhyIslam has a webpage committed to the defense of polygamy, found here, that suggests polygamy is a better solution than monogamy. Quote: "Do they really enjoy sincere and faithful ’monogamy’ as the norm?"

The anti-Jewish sentiment, leftist protests, and defense of polygamy are bad enough (none of which are very Catholic, by the way). To make matters worse, Islamic Circle has deep ties to overseas Muslim terrorism.

Islamic Circle is a "leading domestic affiliate" of the Pakistani terrorist group Jamaat-e-Islami and in a brochure, their stated goal is to "achieve the pleasure of Allah through the establishment of the Islamic system in this land." Islamic Circle even works with Al Khidmat, the "charity" wing of Jammat-e-Islami, which funds and supports Hamas terrorists.

For decades, the Islamic Circle has been linked to the Pakistani terrorist organization Jamaat-e-Islami. In a 1997 printing of Islamic Circle’s bimonthly publication The Message International, for example, armed struggle - jihad - is described as an Islamic duty. The publication even has interviews (https://investigativeproject.org/documents/misc/1058.pdf#page=8)with Jammat-e-Islami leaders "support[ing] the Islamist movement’s goal to establish a global caliphate and commend[ing Islamic Circle’s] role in the ’advancement of Islamic ideology.’"

A member of the terrorist group was a featured speaker at Islamic Circle’s 2019 convention in Washington, DC. In that interview, he blamed Jews for 9/11, which he described as "a fitting response to American arrogance."

We could go on and on about the connection between Islamic Circle’s partner Jammat-e-Islami with terrorism. If you want more proof, you can click here for a brief summary, and here for a 100-page report by the Investigative Project.

Clearly Islamic Circle does not represent Catholic or American values in any way. It is deeply concerning that Catholic Charities of Fort Worth is working alongside such a group, especially given their track record of working with the Biden-Harris administration to bring in and pay illegal aliens from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Haiti.

Student movement organiser Shadik exposed as Shibir president
2024-09-23
[NEWAGEBD.NET] Dhaka University administration's meeting with the leaders of several student organizations on Saturday exposed that Shadik Kayem, whom general students identified as an organiser of the anti-discrimination student movement, was the president of the DU unit of Islami Chhatra Shibir
... the student wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh...
, the student wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami
... a Pak catspaw remaining active in Bangla politix, loosely affiliated with the Pak religious party of the same name and closely affiliated with most of the terror organizations in Bangla. A member of the BNP's old four party governing coalition....
The issue went viral on social media after DU vice-chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan along with two pro-VCs, the treasurer, and the proctor had held meetings with 10 student organizations to discuss political activities by teachers, students and employees on the campus.
So he was part of the fiendish plot, not an innocent bystander?
Student movement organiser Shadik Kayem attended the meeting as the president of the DU unit of Chhatra Shibir though the organization had no visible activities on the campus for over a decade.

Some student organizations, after beginning the meeting, raised objections about the presence of Chhatra Shibir's representative in the meeting with the university administration. Many participants proposed reforms and suggested holding the Dhaka University Central Students' Union election instead of banning politics on the campus.

DU unit of Revolutionary Student Unity president Nuzia Hasin Rasha said that none of the student organizations knew whether there was anyone from the Dhaka University unit of Chhatra Shibir active on the campus.

'After beginning the meeting, the president of the Dhaka University unit of Shibir revealed himself. So, we wanted to know how the vice-chancellor knew the identity of the Shibir president beforehand. However,
it was a brave man who first ate an oyster...
the VC avoided this question in the meeting,' she said.

A leader of one of the student organizations present in the meeting said that, according to the convention of Dhaka University's Environment Council after the 1990 mass uprising, Chhatra Shibir and Chhatra Samaj were banned on DU campus.

'Today, that agreement is ignored,' the student leader told New Age, seeking anonymity.

Mozammel Haque, organizing secretary of the Socialist Students' Front, said they had demanded an immediate convening of the Environmental Council meeting and taking steps for holding DUCSU elections.

General students at DU claimed that Shadik Kayem, the president of the DU unit of Chhatra Shibir, was an organiser in the anti-discrimination student movement.

Despite repeated attempts, central student coordinators Hasnat Abdullah, Sarjis Alam and Abdul Kader could not be reached over the telephone for comments.

In a Facebook post at about 8:00pm on Sunday, Abdul Kader, a coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, revealed that Chhatra Shibir's Dhaka University secretary Farhad was involved in drafting the nine-point demand of the protesting students during the movement.

Hizb ut Tahrir Bangladesh wants withdrawal of its ban
2024-09-12
[NEWAGEBD] Leaders of Hizbut Tahrir
...an al-Qaeda recruiting organization banned in most countries. It calls for the reestablishment of the Caliphate...
Bangladesh at a press conference on Monday called on the interim government to withdraw the ban imposed on it by deposed Sheikh Hasina government.

Hizb ut Tahrir organised the press conference at the National Press Club where its central leader Imtiaz Selim said that the Awami League government had imposed the ban on the party unlawfully in 2009.

Imtiaz Selim said that, after the formation of the party in 2007, their party was not involved in any criminal and anti-state activities and Sheikh Hasina government had imposed the ban failing to face us politically.

After the fall of Sheikh Hasina government on August 5, situation has changed and the ban on Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is already lifted, Imtiaz said.

So, we hope that the interim government will lift the ban on our party immediately, Imtiaz said.

At the press conference, lawyer Nur Mohammad said that on behalf of Hizb ut Tahrir, they had filed a petition with the home ministry on September 5 in 2024 to withdraw the ban.

Awami League government imposed the ban on the party through a press note on October 22 in 2009, which was not valid as it was not acceptable under section 18(1) of anti-terrorism law 2009, Nur Mohammad said.

Nur Mohammad hoped that the interim government would take steps to withdraw the ban imposed on Hizb ut Tahrir.

'We aim to form a government through free and fair elections'
2024-09-02
[DHAKATRIBUNE] Ruhul Kabir Rizvi continues to be a prominent leader within the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), serving as the Senior Joint Secretary General since his election at the party's sixth conference on March 19, 2016.

Rizvi, originally from Kurigram district, is recognized for his academic accomplishments, holding a Master's degree in both Geography and History, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Law from Rajshahi University.

Rizvi's entry into politics began in student activism with the Left-wing Revolutionary Students' Union.

Following the formation of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal
...student wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)...
(JCD), the student wing of BNP, he became actively involved, initially serving as the publicity secretary for the Rajshahi University unit.

His leadership capabilities were soon recognized, and he rose to become the president of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.

Additionally, Rizvi was elected Vice-President (VP) of the Rajshahi University Central Students' Union (Rucsu) in the 1989 elections.

His extensive experience in both student politics and the broader national political arena has provided him with a nuanced understanding of Bangladesh's political dynamics.

As a seasoned spokesperson, Rizvi plays a crucial role in articulating BNP's positions on various issues, particularly emphasizing the party's commitment to democratic governance and national development.

Rizvi recently spoke with Dhaka Tribune's Siam Sarower Jamil to discuss the current political situation in Bangladesh, the legitimacy of the interim government, and the BNP's stance on various national issues.

LEGITIMACY OF THE GOVERNMENT
When questioned about the legitimacy of the interim government, Rizvi acknowledged that while some view the government's rise to power as unconventional, it is essential to understand that the government operates with the people's support.

He said: ''The constitution exists for the people, and what matters is that the government has the people's support. This government took power in a unique situation, backed by the people's mandate.''

Rizvi also accused deposed prime minister the loathesome Sheikh Hasina
...Bangla dynastic politician and now exiled former Prime Minister of Bangladesh. She was President of the Bangla Awami League since the Lower Paleolithic. She is the eldest of five children of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding father of Bangla. Her party defeated the BNP-led Four-Party Alliance in the 2008 parliamentary elections. She once before held the office, from 1996 to 2001, when she was defeated in a landslide. She and the head of the BNP, Khaleda Zia showed such blind animosity toward each other that they are known as the Battling Begums. That is probably because Khaleda's late husband was the Pak tool who had Mujib assassinated...
of manipulating the constitution to establish an authoritarian regime, which he believes has been overcome.

DURATION OF THE GOVERNMENT
Regarding the duration of the interim government's tenure, Rizvi emphasized that it should remain in power only as long as necessary to ensure a stable transition.

He said: ''They will remain in power as long as necessary. The government should initiate reforms as soon as possible, focusing on laying the groundwork for a literate and articulate state. We're willing to give them the time they need, but it shouldn't be prolonged unnecessarily.''

RELATIONS WITH JAMAAT
Despite differing views on the current interim government, Rizvi dismissed any notion of conflict between BNP and its longtime political ally, Jamaat-e-Islami
...The Islamic Society, founded in 1941 in Lahore by Maulana Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, aka The Great Apostosizer.
''BNP has a broader role in this country's politics. We aim to form a new government through free and fair elections. There's no conflict between us,'' he said.

Regarding student movements forming a political party, Rizvi expressed support for a democratic state where all voices could be heard.

CONCERNS OVER SECURITY
When asked about the release of some murderous Moslem leaders and the potential threat to law and order, Rizvi refrained from commenting, saying that these were matters for the legal process and the courts.

He also addressed allegations of BNP leaders and activists being involved in criminal activities following Sheikh Hasina's fall, saying that the party is committed to maintaining discipline and has taken actions against any misconduct.

ANTI-INDIA SENTIMENT
Rizvi clarified BNP's stance on relations with India, denying accusations of anti-India sentiments.

''There's no such thing as being anti-India or pro-India. We protest actions that are against the state. India is our big neighbor, but people are angry for various reasons,'' he explained, pointing out issues like the release of floodwaters affecting Bangladesh.

He also said that BNP has no foreign masters, only friends, and is open to constructive relationships with any country that respects Bangladesh's illusory sovereignty.

PROTECTING MINORITY COMMUNITIES
Responding to concerns about attacks on minority communities after Sheikh Hasina's government fell, Rizvi highlighted the role BNP played in protecting minority homes and temples, asserting that the party stands with all citizens of Bangladesh.

He further reassured that BNP is focused on ensuring the continuity of a democratic government and trusts that the interim government will fulfill its responsibilities in ensuring free and fair elections.

's government had banned its rival political party under an anti-terrorism law, blaming it for stoking deadly violence during student-led protests that turned into an uprising against Hasina, forcing her to resign and flee to India on August 5.

A gazette notification on Wednesday by the caretaker government that replaced Hasina's administration said there was "no specific evidence of involvement of Jamaat" and its affiliates "in terrorist activities".

The party has denied allegations that it stoked violence and had condemned the ban as "illegal, extrajudicial and unconstitutional."

Jamaat-e-Islami has not been able to contest elections of 2014, 2018 and 2024 in Bangladesh after a court said in 2013 its registration as a political party conflicted with Bangladesh's secular constitution.

Shishir Monir, a lawyer for the party, said it will file a petition early next week at the Supreme Court to seek restoration of its registration.

Ameer Shafiqur Rahman said that while the Awami League led the Liberation War, the party has failed to uphold its achievements.

He remarked that more important than how the public views the Awami League is how the party views itself.

He made these comments during a question-and-answer session following a discussion with members of the Indian Media Correspondents Association Bangladesh (IMCAB) at a venue in Dhaka's Moghbazar on Tuesday afternoon.

's stay in India, the Jamaat Ameer said: "After ruling the country for over 15 years, it was not befitting for her to leave the country like Lakshman Sen. Jamaat leaders never left the country; they faced the challenges head-on. Our leaders endured imprisonment and oppression but stayed in the country. They never fled."

When asked about Jamaat's current activities, Shafiqur Rahman said that the judiciary has been destroyed, and a chief justice was forced to leave the country.

There is no longer an Election Commission or electoral system in the country. The police force has become the enemy of the people instead of their friend, he added.

The Jamaat chief said an interim government must be given a reasonable amount of time to prepare for elections, and the country needs to undergo reforms. ''Our current priority is to support the families of those killed and injured in student and public uprisings.''

Jamaat issued a blurb about the IMCAB discussion, saying that their chief expressed a desire for peace and order to return to the country quickly.

He called for reforms to the constitution, administration, judiciary, and political culture.

Shafiqur Rahman emphasized that no divisions should be made based on party or religion and that Jamaat does not believe in retaliatory politics. The party respects everyone's rights.

The Jamaat Ameer also claimed that their party has been subjected to misinformation.

He said: "Whenever any incident occurred in the country, we were blamed. Even when a Member of Parliament was killed in Gaibandha, the prime minister stood in Parliament and blamed Jamaat for the murder, which was later proven false."
