THE TERRORISTS ELIMINATED IN THE STRIKE
Muhammad Adnan Abu Zayd, a UNRWA employee and one of the nine turbans listed, launched mortars at Israel as part of his role in Hamas's Military Wing, the military said.

Yasser Ibrahim Abu Sharar, another of the eliminated turbans and an employee of UNRWA, reportedly acted as both a member of Hamas's military wing, the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, and as an operative in Hamas's emergency bureau in Nuseirat.

The military also said that Ayad Matar was both a UNRWA employee and a terrorist in Hamas's military wing.

The other turbans named by the IDF were Aysar Karadia, a member of the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, and Bassem Majed Shaheen, who took part in Hamas's October 7 attack and was also a member of the group's military wing.

Also named were Amar al-Jadili and Akram Saber al-Ghalaydi, both members of Hamas's military wing and operatives in the group's Internal Security Forces.

Muhammad Issa Abu al-Amir, involved in the October 7 attack, was also part of Hamas's military wing. Finally, the IDF identified Sharif Salam as a member of Hamas's military wing.

HAMAS'S USE OF CIVILIAN AND UNRWA INFRASTRUCTURE
Since and before October 7, Hamas has been recorded using civilian structures for their terrorist activities. Airstrikes have frequently eliminated Hamas turbans and headquarters embedded within schools, where Gazook sources reported that a number of displaced Paleostinian civilians were taking shelter.

Controversies surrounding the UN agency have led to a number of countries pausing or ceasing to fund UNRWA. Most of the pause in funding came after UN Watch alleged that several UNRWA workers had actively participated in Hamas's October 7 attacks.

In UN Watch's investigation, the NGO revealed that a 3000-member Telegram group for UNRWA staff praised the attacks on October 7.

History shows that when the government does not succeed, for whatever reason, in protecting the citizenry from violence and abuse, citizens will take their protection into their own hands, with considerably less discrimination as to their targets. In this case, Hamas announced the Eli gunmen — one shot mid-attack by a civilian, the other hunted down by the IDF — belonged to Hamas’s military wing, the Izzadin al-Qassam brigades.

An off-duty Israeli soldier was one of four suspects detained over a ~~violent~~ mostly peaceful attack by settlers on a Paleostinian village in the West Bank on Saturday.

Several dozen settlers rampaged through the village of Umm Safa, setting fire to vehicles and homes, and opening fire, on the fifth consecutive day of vigilante attacks targeting Paleostinian civilians since a Paleostinian terror shooting on Tuesday in which four Israelis were killed outside the settlement of Eli.

According to the Israel Defense Forces, the soldier was detained by police after the rioting and was handed over to the Shin Bet security agency for further questioning. He was not on duty at the time of the incident.

Earlier in the day, another three suspects were detained, Hebrew-language media reported. The IDF said that one suspect was detained by troops amid the rioting in Umm Safa, and was handed over to police.

In the wake of Tuesday’s deadly terror attack carried out by Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw,-affiliated button men at a West Bank gas station, recent days have seen hundreds of settlers riot inside Paleostinian towns and villages, setting fire to homes, and cars, and even opening fire in some cases, including in Umm Safa on Saturday.

According to Army Radio, the settlers had driven to the village to carry out the attack. Observant Jews do not drive on the Sabbath, unless it is a life or death situation, based on the Jewish legal principle of pikuah nefesh — as it’s known in Hebrew — which trumps nearly all other religious requirements.

Later on Saturday, IDF chief Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, Shin Bet head Ronen Bar, and Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai issued a joint statement strongly condemning the recent string of settler attacks on Paleostinians in the West Bank, branding them as "nationalist terrorism in the full sense of the term."

"The security forces are working against these rioters, risking the lives of IDF soldiers, Israel Police officers and Shin Bet officers. This violence increases Paleostinian terror, harms the State of Israel and the international legitimacy of the security forces to fight Paleostinian terror, and diverts the security forces from their main mission against Paleostinian terror," the three bigwigs said.

"The IDF, the Shin Bet and Israel Police are committed to continuing to act with determination and with all the means at our disposal to maintain security and the law in Judea and Samaria. The IDF will divert and increase forces to prevent such incidents in Judea and Samaria, and the Shin Bet will expand arrests, including administrative detentions against the rioters who act in a ~~violent~~ mostly peaceful and extreme manner inside the Paleostinian villages," the statement said.

The IDF has admitted to having "failed" in stopping other settler riots in recent days.

Hours after the Tuesday terror attack near the settlement of Eli where four Israelis were bumped off at a gas station, an unknown number of settler vigilantes rampaged through several Paleostinian towns in the northern West Bank, including Huwara, the scene of another deadly settler riot earlier this year after a terror attack.

The next day, hundreds of settlers also tore through the Paleostinian towns of Turmus Ayya and Urif — shortly after the victims of the attack were buried — shooting at residents, setting homes, cars and fields on fire, and terrorizing residents.

One Paleostinian — 27-year-old Omar Qattin — was killed in unclear circumstances in Turmus Ayya.

Israeli police said on Friday they had arrested four people in connection with the violence, without giving further details. They were being questioned by the Shin Bet security agency.

A Hamas spokesman claimed responsibility for the Eli attack on Tuesday, describing it as a “heroic” response to the deaths of seven Palestinians during heavy clashes between gunmen and Israeli troops in Jenin on Monday. Hamas said both the terrorists were its members.

Channel 12’s Palestinian affairs correspondent Ohad Hemo said the attack had apparently been planned, directed and financed by Hamas in Gaza. This would mark an upgrade in the group’s activities in the West Bank.

The attack is seen as being part of a wider strategy by the group to escalate tensions in the West Bank and portray itself as the true face of the Palestinian “resistance,” in contrast to the ruling Palestinian Authority, which much of the Palestinian public perceives as weak, corrupt and ineffective.

According to a recent survey by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research, if elections were held today, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh would receive support from 56% of the Palestinian population while current PA President Mahmoud Abbas would win only 33%. The PA has blocked elections from being held in the Palestinian territories since 2006.

Two Israelis, a man in his 40s and a seven-year-old girl, were killed after a rocket scored a direct hit on a car in Lod early Wednesday morning in a fresh barrage launched by terrorists in the Gaza Strip toward the center of Israel.

In Bareket in the Shfela region, two men in their 50s and 60s were lightly injured from glass shards as a result of a rocket that landed on a house, Israeli media reported.

More rockets pounded Israel throughout Tuesday night into Wednesday morning with sirens sounding throughout the center of the country and particularly in the South, including Tel Aviv and Beersheba.

The IDF continued its airstrikes on various terror targets in the Gaza Strip throughout the night, including against a multi-story residential building in Gaza which the military said was home to the terror group's intelligence, public relations and Gaza brigade units. Civilians present were warned to evacuate before the bombing.

Other strikes targeted what the military said were rocket launch sites and Hamas offices. Palestinians in Gaza claimed that at least 35 have been killed since the fighting began.

It was the heaviest offensive between Israel and Hamas since the 2014 war in Gaza, and prompted international concern that the situation could spiral out of control.

In another attack, the IDF struck two Hamas operatives responsible for some of the recent rocket launches into Israel: Hassan Kaogi, the head of Hamas' military intelligence security wing, as well as his second-in-command, Wail Issa, the head of Hamas' intelligence counterintelligence wing.

Additionally, the IDF eliminated more senior Hamas officials, including Bassam Issa, the Gaza Brigade commander, Rafa Salama, the Khan Younis Brigade commander and Mohammed Yazouri, the Hamas intelligence commander.

The Iron Dome was activated early Wednesday morning in the city of Dimona, home to Israel's nuclear reactor, to intercept a rocket heading for the city.

On Tuesday night, sirens sounded throughout the center of the country in what officials said was the largest rocket barrage against Tel Aviv in its history. The rockets set off sirens in Herzliya, Ra’anana and the Sharon region. The barrage came after Israel bombed a 13-story building in Gaza.

The Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility on Wednesday morning for over 100 rockets fired at Tel Aviv and 100 rockets fired at Beersheba. Some 1,000 rockets have been fired into Israel since the beginning of the hostilities on Monday.

The barrage came hours after Hamas warned Israel that it would fire missiles into Tel Aviv if the IDF continued to strike buildings in the Gaza Strip.

Another rocket struck a bus in Holon, just south of Tel Aviv. Four people were injured in Holon including the driver of the bus who was critically injured. Another three people were in moderate condition after being injured in the attack, including a five-year-old child.
Now, IDF is going to pound Gaza until "humanitarians" start screaming. IDF will stop, and Hamas will proclaim victory.

Israel had delivered "security messages" to the Egyptians so that they could raise them with Hamas leaders, who headed to Cairo on Sunday, the report said, quoting unnamed Egyptian sources.

"The Israeli side informed Egypt of intelligence information regarding efforts by Hamas’s military wing, Izz al-Din [Izzadin] al-Qassam Brigades, to introduce advanced types of weapons to the Gaza Strip that would change the balance of power," it said.

Israel had informed the Egyptians that Hamas was trying to develop an air-defense system "that would change the situation in the next confrontations with Israel," the report said.

Hamas on Sunday said two of its bigwigs in the Gaza Strip, Khalil al-Hayya and Rouhi Mushtaha, headed to Cairo through the Rafah border crossing for talks with Egyptian officials on the situation in the Gaza Strip and on latest political developments in the region.

Two other Hamas leaders, Saleh Arouri and Izzat al-Risheq, were also scheduled to arrive in Cairo within hours to join the talks with Egyptian intelligence officials.

The talks would deal with efforts to resolve the ongoing dispute between Hamas and the Paleostinian ruling Fatah faction, Hamas said in a statement.

(ISIS) group says his captors will release him in exchange for the wife of one of their leaders in the custody of Erbil authorities.

Jalal Baban, 40, worked as a policeman for the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in northern Diyala province until he was captured ten months ago near the multiethnic town of Qara Tapa.

Baban and his cousin Hassan Bali were kidnapped while cultivating their farmland in the vicinity of their village, Naren, in the district of Khanaqin. The cousin was freed by the terrorist group after the family paid a large ransom.

"Three days into our abduction, they told me 'since you are not working for the government, you will be released and can go back to your parents, but not your friend, because he works for the government,’" Bali, recounted, saying he was released for the hefty sum of $57,500.

After ten months of captivity, his family says the murderous Moslem group is forcing Baban to send them voice messages via the popular Telegram messaging application, saying his only chance of survival is the prisoner exchange.

In his third and latest voice message, which his family has forwarded to Rudaw, the abductee calls on his family to persuade authorities to release the woman in KRG custody.

"I am Jalal Baban Ibrahim. To all of my family members from the Geci tribe; the Islamic State is informing you and giving you a 10-day-ultimatum to end this issue [prisoner exchange], if not they will kill me and you will be guilty for my death," Baban says in the voice note, in what appears to be a prepared script.

"I have been in the hands of the Islamic State for 10 months now. Yet, my issue has not been solved. I am calling on my whole family to intervene and help save my life," he goes on to say in Arabic.

Baban’s mother says the woman is incarcerated in the capital of the Kurdistan Region. Rudaw has reached out to local authorities, who confirmed the woman in question was in their custody, but would not comment further.

Kurdish authorities have consistently said they do not negotiate with forces of Evil and that no prisoner exchange has taken place between the Region and ISIS or any other similar murderous Moslem group.

Despite this, the family urges the KRG to accept ISIS’ terms, which they hope will save the life of their son.

"All they want is a woman held by the Asayesh,"" Baban's cousin Izzadin Karim told Rudaw Wednesday, referring to the Kurdish security forces. "If the prisoner exchange is not done, I do not know what will happen to him.

"I want Jalal back," Baban’s distraught mother added.

The woman ISIS is fighting to free is allegedly the wife of an ISIS leader, the family says the group has told them. According to her documentation seen by Rudaw, she is a 23-year-old Yezidi woman from Shingal (Sinjar in Arabic), where ISIS committed genocide against the ethno-religious minority, and took many woman and girls into captivity.

The term is used to indicate a person who is suspected of sharing information or intelligence with Israel.

The official, said to have overseen the group’s divers unit, fled the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip on an Israeli military boat with a laptop, cash, surveillance equipment, and "classified, dangerous documents," according to a media report citing "sources" on Paleostinian news site Amad media, an organization reportedly close to exiled Fatah commander Mohammad Dahlan. The report was picked up by Israel’s Channel 12 and Channel 13 news.

The report said the discovery sent Hamas big turbans into a "state of hysteria" as the group launched an investigation and made dozens of arrests in search of additional suspects in the alleged spy network. Some half a million dollars and extensive equipment were seized in an unspecified raid, according to the report.

This was the second senior Hamas commander suspected recently of aiding the Jewish state, the report said. A previous suspect, dubbed "Mahmoud," is said to have been in charge of communications networks for the Gaza City neighborhood of Shejaiya and is believed by Hamas to have been working for Israel since 2009.

The report said "Mahmoud," 32, arrested by Hamas and charged with spying for Israel.

Hamas routinely announces arrests of suspected "collaborators" in the Paleostinian enclave, many of whom are sentenced to death.

According to the sources, another senior Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, military commander was recently arrested on suspicion of collaboration with Israel.

The man, who was identified only as Mohammmed, was responsible for the group’s communication networks in the Shajjaiyeh neighborhood of Gazoo City and trained Hamas members in information gathering and anti-espionage techniques.

The sources claimed that he began working with Israeli intelligence agencies in 2009. His alleged ties with Israel were uncovered when he asked his brother to collect for him a sum of money that was left near a garbage bin. The brother was apprehended by members of the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades as he was trying to take the cash, the sources said.

The two incidents prompted Hamas to take a series of measures, including summoning several of its members for interrogation and changing its communication networks and the phone numbers of many bigwigs.

"There are incidents in which we can say there is a difference. [In some, there is] one person who plans an attack alone, like last week, and there are others like this one, which we see was a planned group attack."

a 22-year old Paleostinian allegedly responsible for January murder of Rabbi Raziel Shevach, were retrieved by the demonstrators on Tuesday.

Protesters threw stones at Israeli forces as they responded by teargassing the crowds and firing rubber bullets which reportedly injured nine people.

Israeli forces were apparently on a one-month manhunt for Jarrar as they claimed he had criminal masterminded the drive-by shooting attack near the West Bank city of Nablus which resulted in the death of the Israeli.

Having surrounded the building where Jarrar had taken refuge, Israeli forces opened fire on him as he emerged from the hideout with an M-16 rifle.

Israeli security forces find and kill Havat Gilad terrorist

[Jerusalem Post] The ringleader behind the Havat Gilad shooting, Ahmad Nasser Jarar, was killed early Tuesday morning, Israel’s Shin Bet internal security agency announced.

In a joint IDF, Shin Bet and Israeli Police operation, Jarar was shot by security forces when he came out of a building in which he was hiding in the northern West Bank village of Al-Yamun armed with an M-16 assault rifle and a bag of explosives.

No troops were injured during the operation.

He was a key cell member in the January 9th terror attack in which Rabbi Raziel Shevach, 32, a resident of the Havat Gilad outpost near Nablus, was murdered. Shevach was shot 22 times close to his home in a drive-by attack on Route 60. He was married with six children ‐ four daughters and two sons ‐ ages 11 to eight months.

Hamas has praised the attack and said that Jarrar was a member of its military wing, the Izzadin Kassam Brigades. Jarrar’s father, Nasser Jarrar, was a senior Hamas commander in the West Bank who was imprisoned by Israel for planning one of Hamas’s first suicide bus bombings in 1994 and was killed by Israeli troops in 2002.

According to the Shin Bet, their investigation indicated that the cell had been planning and had been involved in attempting to carry out additional terror attacks.

Over the weekend, security forces surrounded the village of Burqin west of Jenin in the northern West Bank and arrested five Palestinians, including three brothers from the Jarrar family. During the operation, one Palestinian teenager was killed and four others injured during clashes with troops.

Two weeks after the murder, Israel Police’s YAMAM counter-terrorism unit led a 12-hour operation in which one Palestinian was killed and two others arrested and two YAMAM officers were wounded after an exchange of gunfire with the suspects.

During the operation, Israeli troops demolished Ahmad Nasser Jarrar’s home as well as the adjacent home that belonged to his uncle and another two belonging to the Jarrar clan. While Jarrar was initially believed to have been killed in the demolition of the home, his body was not found inside the rubble by Palestinians.

Hamas Leader Killed In 'Accidental' Gaza Explosion

[JPOST] A prominent leader of Hamas' Izzadin Kassam brigade was killed Wednesday in an "accidental" explosion in southern Gaza, according to PA news outlet Ma'an.

The explosion occurred at a Hamas post near Rafah, injuring three other militants, according to the Palestinian news agency.

Hamas described Ibrahim Hussein Abu al-Naja as a prominent leader and said the source of the explosion was not clear.

This is not the first time militants have been killed in mysterious Gaza Strip explosions, with Ma'an reporting that numerous Hamas "resistance posts" have been destroyed over the past few years.

On April 26, an "accidental" explosion killed an Islamic Jihad military member during preparatory work in the site, the terrorist group announced.

The Gaza Ministry of Health later stated that another Palestinian was wounded in the same "accident."
