Inside the new fifth column-Meet the CAIR-Linked Group That Aims To Place Muslim Americans in Federal Jobs

Muslim Americans in Public Service is a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit that coordinates with federal agencies to help Muslims obtain and advance careers in government. To do so, it partners with Islamic organizations, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations,

…one of many branches of the Muslim Brotherhood in America…

that have either condoned terror attacks or have been linked to terrorist organizations.

In addition to CAIR, the nonprofit known as MAPS touts the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations as one of its partners and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and Helping Hand for Relief and Development as two of its sponsors. MAPS has worked with CAIR to host events that bring together MAPS members "across all levels and branches of government." And while it does not disclose its donors, it says it receives "sizable in-kind donations" from its partners, as well as funding from "federal agencies," nonprofits, and state commissions.

Perhaps it’s time to cut them off from federal agencies — turn DOGE loose on them to figure out donation flows, and maybe member connections if they have a little spare time and bandwidth in the midst of all else that they’ve got going.

MAPS’s affiliation with those groups—all of which have praised or been linked to terrorist organizations—could raise concerns about its efforts to place employees inside the federal bureaucracy. While it's unlikely MAPS will have success placing political appointees in the Trump administration, which has opposed affinity groups that support DEI initiatives in federal agencies and is staunchly at odds with MAPS's criticism of Israel, the group's top members include some career officials entrenched in the federal government.

MAPS thrived during the Biden administration and now boasts thousands of members, including intelligence community officials who hold high-level security clearances, according to Maaty, the group’s chairman.

Formed in 2021, MAPS is led by a board of current and former career federal employees, according to the group’s website and their LinkedIn profiles. Ahmad Maaty, the founding chairman of MAPS, is a senior economist at the Department of Justice. Other board members include Veterans Affairs official Hasan Shanawani, Office of Management and Budget examiner Farrah Pappa, United Nations mission adviser Mariya Ilyas, and White House policy analyst Ameer Abdulrahman, a former official for Democratic Senate candidate Morgan Harper.

While MAPS largely focuses on job-related issues that impact its members, it has weighed in on some political issues. The group criticized the Biden administration over its support for Israel in the war against Hamas, saying that it "disagrees with many of the policy positions taken by the current Administration." It also condemned the 2023 censure of Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) over her statements calling for the eradication of Israel and denounced the removal of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) from the House Foreign Affairs Committee over anti-Semitic remarks.

Since then, MAPS has hosted panels and networking events thanks to support from its terror-tied partners.

Earlier this month, for example, MAPS hosted an event that ICNA and Helping Hand cosponsored. One of its featured speakers, Nicole Fauster-Bradford, is the community advocacy director at CAIR. She spoke alongside Sarah Khasawinah, a senior policy adviser in the Senate.

Former ICNA president Mohsin Ansari has spread anti-Semitic tropes about the "liberal anti Muslim media headed by Jews," according to reports. He has also praised Delwar Hossain Sayeedi, a Bangladeshi cleric convicted of war crimes against Hindus, as a "very, very, very special person." Congress has investigated both ICNA and Helping Hand over their alleged links to Jamaat-e-Islami

It is distinguished by its xenophobia, and its opposition to Westernization, capitalism, socialism, secularism, and liberalist social mores...

CAIR, for its part, was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in a federal Hamas financing case in 2008. The Biden White House distanced itself from the group after its executive director stated he was "happy" about the Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023.

In addition to the March event, MAPS held an annual networking event in January that ICNA and Helping Hand cosponsored. It featured Ansari as a speaker.

In a statement sent to the Washington Free Beacon, MAPS said it "engages independent organizations with various audiences," like CAIR, ICNA, and Helping Hand, "to increase its civic engagement and reach those with a desire to serve the public." It did not answer questions on CAIR's Oct. 7 rhetoric and the groups' ties to terror organizations.

Oh? Tracing connections could prove profitable, should the Trump administration be interested in reducing the concentration of probable jihadis in America…

In 2023, then-transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg recorded a video message praising MAPS, saying that "so many core Islamic values reflect American values." In April 2024, the group hosted an event at the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Agriculture where then-secretary Tom Vilsack spoke in praise of the group. ICNA and Islamic Relief USA, a subsidiary of Islamic Relief Worldwide, which Israeli authorities sanctioned for allegedly funneling money to Hamas. The State Department condemned Islamic Relief Worldwide in 2020 over its leaders’ "vile anti-Semitic vitriol."

Catholic Charities of Fort Worth is working with a Muslim Organization with ties to Islamic terrorism.

[X] It’s been a few weeks since we’ve talked about @CCFortWorth and the nearly billion dollars they’ve received from Biden-Harris to give money to illegal aliens. It took them a while, but after their emergency PR meeting to discuss our report, they responded - you can read that here, which was sent out to Catholics in Fort Worth (you can also read the Q&A letter they sent here. We do have another bombshell for you today, but first, we want to address a few points from their response.

In the letter by their CEO Michael Iglio (@Michael_Iglio), they assure readers that money only goes to "legal immigrants." On its face, that’s true. But, as JD Vance said, if migrants are made "legal" by an illegal wave of the wand from the Biden-Harris administration, that doesn’t mean very much. For example: in the last few weeks many people, including President Trump, have pointed out that "legal" Haitian migrants are eating people’s dogs and cats. You should know that the grant program CCFW is receiving much of this money from, HHS Assistance Listing Number 93.56, specifically includes these Haitians as a group that can receive the money.

Iglio also says that their program, the Texas Office for Refugees, "administers federal funds from the Office of Refugee Resettlement and partners with more than two dozen nonprofits across Texas." They do indeed provide grant money to other organizations, but that statement is somewhat misleading. To be clear, $71 million of the federal grant money, according to CCFW’s 2023 audit, was spent directly by the organization last year. Proof of that can be found here.

Now to that bombshell we mentioned earlier.

CCFW’s CEO said that they partner with other nonprofits. You should know that one of these nonprofits with which they partner is a Muslim organization that advocates for ending the Israeli "apartheid state" and "brutal military occupation," has ties to Muslim terrorist organizations, hosts Hamas protests at the Texas and US Capitols, and echoes calls of the Palestinian president to fight "the Zionists."

Islamic Circle of North America has partnered with Catholic Charities of Fort Worth for years. In a Fort Worth Report Article from 2021, an officer for their Dallas branch named Hala Halabi said about Catholic Charities of Fort Worth that the organization had "been there, I mean, step by step, with us." In 2022, Islamic Circle's Relief organization posted about an event on their Facebook, saying "It is always nice meeting with our great partner Texas Office for Refugees" (the department of CCFW).

The relationship between CCFW and Islamic Circle didn’t stop there. Just this April, Biden’s Assistant Secretary of the Population, Refugees, and Migration Bureau held an event with both CCFW and Islamic Circle thanking them for their help in bringing migrants into the country; she said that, with the help of these organizations, they had brought in 50,000 people by April 11th of this year.

CCFW is still working with and promoting the Islamic Circle - even this very minute. On the website for the Texas Office of Refugees - which Michael Iglio said is a department of CCFW - they have a list of "service providers." There are 22 organizations on the list and two of them are Islamic Circle Dallas and Islamic Circle Fort Worth. In summary, 10% of the providers promoted on their website are chapters of Islamic Circle.

As an aside: you can see on the provider map of the Texas Office for Refugees (CCFW), that Islamic Circle's Fort Worth office is right down the street from CCFW.

As previously mentioned, Islamic Circle holds protests calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, and even refers to Israel as an "apartheid state." They even have a program that advocates for polygamy! Islamic Center has a program under its umbrella called "WhyIslam." WhyIslam has a webpage committed to the defense of polygamy, found here, that suggests polygamy is a better solution than monogamy. Quote: "Do they really enjoy sincere and faithful ’monogamy’ as the norm?"

The anti-Jewish sentiment, leftist protests, and defense of polygamy are bad enough (none of which are very Catholic, by the way). To make matters worse, Islamic Circle has deep ties to overseas Muslim terrorism.

Islamic Circle is a "leading domestic affiliate" of the Pakistani terrorist group Jamaat-e-Islami and in a brochure, their stated goal is to "achieve the pleasure of Allah through the establishment of the Islamic system in this land." Islamic Circle even works with Al Khidmat, the "charity" wing of Jammat-e-Islami, which funds and supports Hamas terrorists.

For decades, the Islamic Circle has been linked to the Pakistani terrorist organization Jamaat-e-Islami. In a 1997 printing of Islamic Circle’s bimonthly publication The Message International, for example, armed struggle - jihad - is described as an Islamic duty. The publication even has interviews (https://investigativeproject.org/documents/misc/1058.pdf#page=8)with Jammat-e-Islami leaders "support[ing] the Islamist movement’s goal to establish a global caliphate and commend[ing Islamic Circle’s] role in the ’advancement of Islamic ideology.’"

A member of the terrorist group was a featured speaker at Islamic Circle’s 2019 convention in Washington, DC. In that interview, he blamed Jews for 9/11, which he described as "a fitting response to American arrogance."

Clearly Islamic Circle does not represent Catholic or American values in any way. It is deeply concerning that Catholic Charities of Fort Worth is working alongside such a group, especially given their track record of working with the Biden-Harris administration to bring in and pay illegal aliens from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Haiti.

WHO IS GEORGE SOROS?
With a net worth of USD 8.5 billion, Soros is the founder of Open Society Foundations, which gives grants to groups and individuals that promote democracy, transparency and freedom of speech.

According to his website, "he has given away more than USD 32 billion of his personal fortune" to fund the Open Society Foundations' work around the world. He has been accused of using his wealth and influence to shape politics and funding regime change. In 2020, he pledged USD 1 billion to fund a new university network to tackle the spread of nationalism.

Earlier this year, he hit the headlines after attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Adani issue. Soros in his speech at the Munich Security Conference said the turmoil at Adani may open the door to a democratic revival in the country.

Aruna Miller takes oath on Bhagwad Gita and radicals in US are unhappy

The founder of the IAMC, Sheik Ubaid, and member Abdul Malik Mujahid — appearing once in our archives as Iman Malik Mujahid, whoch I suspect contains a typo — have been heads of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) which is the US front of Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami. ICNA also has links to Lashkar-e-Tayiba.

@iamwesmoore and Lt. Governor @arunamiller. The protestors are demanding that Lt. Gov. Miller apologise for her ties to Hindutva and donate the Hindutva money received during the campaign to charities, IAMC said in a tweet.

Aruna Miller's open acceptance of the Hindu faith also did not go down too well with other radical Islamists.

The Lions of Islam had earlier attacked Tulsi Gabbard, a former Congresswoman for following her Hindu faith. She had criticised the Islamist ideology and said that this had inspired terror attacks and the declaration of war against America after the 9/11 attack.

Marquez pleaded guilty to making false statements in connection to purchasing two assault rifles that were used in the San Bernardino attack on Dec. 2, 2015, according to the Justice Department. Farook and his wife used the two assault rifles Marquez "straw" bought for them to attack the San Bernardino Inland Regional Center three years after the purchase, the Justice Department said.

Marquez said Farook paid for the firearms and that they also discussed using radio-controlled improvised bombs, or IEDs, according to the Justice Department. Marquez said he purchased a container of smokeless powder and Christmas tree lightbulbs to make the IEDs.

Prosecutors claimed that Marquez "was a full, willing, and motivated participant of the conspiracy who not only provided the agreement necessary for the conspiracy to attack RCC and SR-91, but also co-designed the attacks with Farook," in a memorandum filed last week, according to the Justice Department.

Marquez "purchased the two firearms and ammunition to facilitate the attacks, researched bomb making and obtained explosive powder and other bomb-making materials, and visited RCC and SR-91 to sketch out how he and Farook would attack the two locations to maximize casualties," according to the memorandum.

U.S. District Judge Jesus Bernal denied Marquez’s request that he be sentenced to five years, according to the Justice Department. Prosecutors said the request was an effort to "downplay the seriousness of his actions, and skirt that his actions contributed to the mass killing and injuring of innocent people in San Bernardino just a few years later."

Marquez was arrested and has remained in jug since his initial court appearance on Dec. 17, 2015, according to the DOJ.

The Long Arm of Turkey's Erdogan

’s President Tayyip Erdogan. He was not able to travel with his New York Knicks teammates back in January to play the Washington Wizards in London for fear of being kidnapped or killed. And in December 2017 he was sentenced to four years in prison in absentia. Enes Kanter’s father was also fired from his university position and is now serving a fifteen-year sentence in prison, some say as backlash for his son’s criticism of the government.

Now however, Erdogan’s long authoritarian arm has apparently reached even youth sporting. On June 2nd, Kanter published this message on his Twitter feed:

One reply to Kanter’s tweet declares Islamic Association of North Texas (IANT) Richardson as the organization that initiated the boycott of the basketball camps.

A Twitter user by the name of THEOLOG writes, "I knew it, Yusuf Kavakci was an Islamist and Erdoganist Imam whose daughters and even grand children have governmental positions in Turkey. Shame on this masjid, I led some salahs when I was there! They are so political and erdoganist sadly!!!"

The Twitter user THEOLOG makes a valid point. Yusuf Kavakci was previously a board member for the Moslem Brüderbund-affiliated Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and for a time was president of the Islamic Tribunal that caused such a stir for openly stating that it would use Sharia to resolve disputes within the Moslem community during the tenure of Mayor Beth Van Duyne in Irving, Texas.

As previously reported in the American Spectator, Erdogan’s regime is increasingly using connections with domestic-based U.S. Islamist groups, like Moslem American Society (MAS), Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) to exert political influence in the United States. Sickos busted for abusing kids at compound linked to controversial imam

[NYPost] The five people arrested for child abuse in New Mexico after they were found living with 11 children in "Third World" conditions are related to a controversial Muslim faith leader in Brooklyn who has been linked to the 1993 World Trade Center bombings.

Siraj Wahhaj, 40; Lucas Morton, 40; Jany Leveille, 35; Hujrah Wahhaj, 38; and Subhanah Wahhaj, 35, were arrested and charged with 11 counts of felony child abuse for keeping the kids, ages 1 to 15, in squalid conditions at a compound made of garbage in the New Mexico desert.

Siraj Wahhaj is also accused of kidnapping his 3-year-old son Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj from Georgia in December.

The child, who reportedly suffers from seizures and other health issues, was not among the kids rescued.

Prosecutors named the elder Siraj Wahhaj ‐ born Jeffrey Kearse ‐ as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He also was a character witness in the trial of convicted terror plotter Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman.

Red on red: Gays Against Sharia UK rally planned, Antifa counter-protesting to oppose "Islamophobia"

[JihadWatch] Gays Against Sharia UK announced that they are holding a joint rally with Standing For Britain. The group states on Facebook that the march will be protesting "against Muslim grooming gangs operating in Stockton."

As with anyone who stands against Islamic abuses of women, infidels, gays, Jews, etc., "anti-fascists are gearing up to counter protest" against the march in Stockton. In an absurd statement, Antifa is urging "all who oppose racism and Islamophobia" to support the "anti-fascist protest." Again, the words "Islamophobia" and "racism" are manipulated in service of a socialist-jihadi alliance. Antifa ignores real hate, intolerance and abuse, which Gays Against Sharia UK is standing against, and some of which is targeted at their own community. Here are a handful of examples:

An influential Iranian cleric, Ayatollah Abdollah Javiadi-Amoli, who is entitled to issue juristic rulings according to the Sharia, said that politicians who pass laws in favour of homosexuals are lower than animals. "Even animals ... dogs and pigs don’t engage in this disgusting act [homosexuality] but yet they [western politicians] pass laws in favour of them in their parliaments."

An American Muslim cleric, Sheikh Khalid Yasin, stated: "God is very straightforward about this ‐ not we Muslims, not subjective, the Sharia is very clear about it, the punishment for homosexuality, bestiality or anything like that is death. We don’t make any excuses about that, it’s not our law ‐ it’s the Koran."

Tunisian Sheikh Sheikh Fathi Rebaï, who has rejected and rebuked calls for the rights of homosexuals, stated that "cattle are more honorable" than homosexuals. Citing a hadith, he said that "the only disagreement among Sunni scholars was over the method of execution, with the Hanafi school advocating throwing them down from a high place and then stoning them to death."

According to the American Center for Democracy: “Canada, which prides itself of draconian ‘hate speech’ laws, allows major Muslim organizations, imams preaching in mosques, open lectures, books, videos and on social media, the notion that ‘The Hadd [fixed punishment] of homosexuality is stoning to death. The methods of killing them (the two who committed the homosexual act) that have been related from the Companions have differed. From among them, there were those who burned them with fire. Others among them killed them by stoning them with stones. Ibn ’Abbas said about them. "The highest building in the village should be sought, then they should be thrown from it upside down (i.e. on their heads). Then they should be stoned after that."’ Excerpts from the book Minhaj-Al-Muslim by Abu Bakr Al-Jazairy (purchased at the Islamic Circle of North America’s bookstore in Toronto).”

Gays Against Sharia UK is also featuring a speech from Anne Marie Waters, the leader of the For Britain party and former UKIP member, who recently wrote a telling article for Jihad Watch entitled "Our Democracy is Dead and Left-Wing Fascism Has Replaced It."

Feds looking into a $28k deposit made into Farook's bank account before the shooting

[Daily Mail] Investigators are now looking into whether the $28,000 transaction was a loan, since Farook earned $53,000 a year as an environmental health inspector for San Bernardino County, according to Fox News.

WebBank.com, a Utah-based company, describes itself on its website as ' a leading provider of national consumer and commercial private-label and bank card financing programs' on a nationwide basis. Farook converted $10,000 of the $28,000 to cash on or about November 20, and withdrew the money from a Union Bank in San Bernardino.
Any bank reporting to the feds on these transations ?
In the days leading up to the massacre, at least three transfers of $5,000 appeared to go to Farook's mother.
Would that would be the same 'mother' who was an active member of the local champter of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), lived with Farook and slept on ammo crates and pipe fittings ?
