The best way to undermine the Bill of Rights
2018-12-16
[WND] "We will use the freedoms of the Constitution to destroy the Constitution" ‐ was a sign held by Muslim demonstrators in Dearborn, Michigan, reported Dr. Irwin Lutzer in "The Cross in the Shadow of the Crescent" (2013).

Sharia organizer Anjem Choudary of Islam4UK declared (London Daily Express, Oct. 15, 2009): "We have had enough of democracy and man-made law. ... We will call for a complete upheaval of the British ruling system ... and demand full implementation of Sharia in Britain."

Dwight Eisenhower warned of this (Time magazine, Oct. 13, 1952): "The Bill of Rights contains no grant of privilege for a group of people to destroy the Bill of Rights. A group ... dedicated to the ultimate destruction of all civil liberties, cannot be allowed to claim civil liberties as its privileged sanctuary from which to carry on subversion of the Government."

Lawmakers are increasingly faced with the dilemma ‐ should freedom of speech be for groups whose ultimate goal is to censor and eliminate freedom of speech? Should freedom of religion be extended to those with an agenda and track record of abolishing freedom of religion? Should "sharia-practicing" Muslims and enforcers of novel sexual agendas be allowed to demand freedoms for themselves ‐ while bullying and intimidating others into surrendering their freedoms?

Employing the tactic of "psychological projection," intolerant groups accuse their opponents of what they are guilty of. Hateful organizations even post on their websites the lists of those they hate.

Is Western Civilization committing "assisted suicide" ‐ with activist "politically-correct" judges and elitist, deep-state bureaucrats usurping power from the people?

for five-and-a-half years in 2016, and will serve the rest of his sentence under strict supervision orders having been released from Belmarsh prison, near London.

He is expected to return to his home in Ilford, east of London, although will not be able to use any internet-enabled devices without permission, the BBC reported.

Other restrictions are reported to include bans on leaving Britannia without permission and on attending certain mosques and he will only be allowed to meet with people approved by the police.

He also belonged to a group that burned poppies, the symbol of remembrance for deaths in war, during an Armistice Day protest in the British capital in 2010.

In a 2014 interview with AFP, Choudary called on western journalists, civilians and troops in "Moslem countries" to "completely withdraw and allow us to implement the Sharia".

Former police terror chief Richard Walton called him a "hardened dangerous terrorist" who had had a "huge influence on Islamist extremism in this country".

Anjem Choudary, Islamist Activist in Britain, Is Convicted of Supporting ISIS

, an organization that is now banned. The group was founded by Omar Bakri Muhammad, who was expelled from Britannia in 2005 and went to Leb. Mr. Choudary later led another organization, Islam4UK, which has also been banned.

He has long been infamous in Britannia for praising the men who attacked the United States on Sept. 11, 2001; for refusing to condemn the London bombings of 2005; and for saying he wanted to convert Buckingham Palace into a mosque and fly the Islamic flag over 10 Downing Street.

Mr. Choudary served two years in jail for encouraging people to kill British and American troops in Afghanistan. One of the men who hacked a British soldier, Lee Rigby, to death in 2013 had attended protests organized by Mr. Choudary.

Dean Haydon, the head of the Metropolitan Police’s Counterterrorism Command, said in a statement, "These men have stayed just within the law for many years, but there is no one within the counterterrorism world that has any doubts of the influence that they have had, the hate they have spread and the people that they have encouraged to join terrorist organizations."

How Anjem Choudary's mouth was finally shut

[BBC] For 20 years Anjem Choudary stood on street corners, in shopping precincts, outside mosques, embassies and police stations and used his megaphone to drive a wedge between Muslims and the rest of Britain. Now he has been convicted of inviting others to support the Islamic State militant group.

Terror raids nab nine in London, including Choudary
2014-09-25
Nine men, including radical Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary, were arrested in London on suspicion of being members of a banned organization. Choudary is the former UK head al-Muhajiroun or Islam4UK, banned in 2010.

Officers are searching 18 premises in London and one in Stoke-on-Trent. Police said it was part of an ongoing inquiry into Islamist terrorism and not in response to an immediate threat to the public.

The Met said the men were being held on suspicion of being members of a proscribed organization, supporting a proscribed organization and encouraging terrorism.

Terrorism gang jailed for plotting to blow up London Stock Exchange
2012-02-09
A gang of Muslim extremists inspired to launch a deadly UK terror campaign by hate preacher Anjem Choudary were jailed for a total of nearly 95 years today.

Lynchpin Mohammed Chowdhury, 21, and righthand man Shah Rahman, 29, planned to plant a bomb in the Stock Exchange and were seen scouting other potential targets including Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye.

A handwritten hit list containing the names and addresses of Boris Johnson, the dean of St Paul's Cathedral, two rabbis and details about the American Embassy was also found at Chowdhury's east London home.

Members of the gang hoped to launch a co-ordinated shooting and bombing attack on the capital in a 'Mumbai-style' atrocity in the run-up to Christmas 2010.

Six of the nine men had been personally taught by former Islam4UK spokesman Choudary, while four were also in contact with notorious convicted terrorists Abu Izzadeen and Sheikh Faisal.

Choudary has since claimed his former pupils' plans were 'taken out of context' by police.

Sharia Law hits UK
2011-07-10
HARDCORE Islamists have vowed to ban booze and mixing between the sexes in new Sharia law enforcement zones across the UK. The move will see specific areas flooded with thousands of stickers saying "no gambling", "no music or concerts", "no porn or prostitution" and "no drugs or smoking".

The posters declare: "You are entering a Sharia controlled zone -- Islamic rules enforced."

The radicals will kick off their controlled zones in the London borough of Waltham Forest later this month. They also claim their hardline rules will be policed by thousands of "Sharia cops" on the streets.

Preacher Anjem Choudary has called the scheme an alternative to government attempts to combat violent extremism under the Prevent strategy.

Last night the former al-Muhajiroun and Islam4UK leader warned: "The Prevent strategy introduced by Theresa May is going to be countered in the next couple of weeks beginning in Waltham Forest where there will be a Sharia- controlled zone sticker campaign.

"This will mean this is an area where the Muslim community will not tolerate drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling, usury, free mixing between the sexes -- the fruits if you like of Western civilisation.

"This will be a very heavy leafleting campaign aimed at both the Muslim and non-Muslim community in terms of what the Sharia means economically, socially and politically. "Waltham Forest, including Walthamstow and Leyton, will also be targeted with a march.

"We want to run the area as a Sharia-controlled zone and really to put the seeds down for an Islamic Emirate in the long term.

"We want to create an area where Muslims can live together, make transactions with each other, and interact between themselves rather than with the wider community."

The ex-lawyer added: "There are 25 areas around the country which the Government has earmarked as areas where violent extremism is a problem.

Choudary threatens royal wedding
2011-04-01
Anjem Choudary has threatened that a terror attack is 'highly likely' at the royal wedding. He told all Muslims to stay away from Westminster Abbey on April 29, describing it as 'a prime target'.

Choudary has also been haranguing followers of the hate group, Muslims Against Crusades, and is backing its plan for a 'forceful demonstration' at the wedding.

"All Muslims should stay away from the public gatherings like the royal wedding and the Olympics because there is a very high likelihood of an attack. Prime targets most probably would be public gatherings like that, so I think Muslims in general should stay away to avoid injury," said Choudary.

"Maybe when the priest says "is there anyone who objects to this wedding speak now or forever hold your tongue" - who knows what will happen at that time? If my brothers decide to use the opportunity when the world is looking at the Royal Family to pass a message so that we can avoid more deaths of innocent men, women and children in Afghanistan, that should be applauded.

"Prince William has been on military duty in Afghanistan, as well as his brother. I believe that the Queen and her children are supportive of the war in Afghanistan, which translates to us as a war against Muslims."

He also said: "We believe this is complete murder and mayhem that they have orchestrated. We will stand against and expose anyone who supports that.Security services in this country will tell you there is very high risk (of a terror attack). That is their main concern about the wedding."

Choudary became leader of Islam4UK but it was banned last year by the Terrorism Act 2000. Now another group has emerged in its place and Choudary admits he is involved.

The group has created a website with a clock counting down to the royal wedding, calling the royal family 'enemies to Allah and his messenger'.

Choudhary says the protest could include hardliners from the group setting fire to Union Jack flags.

"It's not illegal in this country to burn a Union Jack. There may be placards and people addressing the crowd. A lot of them are former students of mine. Also they were previously with al-Muhajiroun so I do know them. I'm not their spokesman but they invite me from time to time."

Christmas bomb plotters radicalised in jail
2010-12-24
A neighbour of three men arrested in Cardiff said that, after they were convicted of theft and drugs offences, they "went to prison as petty criminals and came out expressing extreme views".

Twelve men, mainly British nationals of Bangladeshi origin, were still being questioned by anti-terrorism officers last night following co-ordinated raids in the Welsh capital, London, Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham on Monday.

Sources said the gang was planning a "spectacular" attack on banks, shops and "iconic" sites in London.

The alleged cell was said to have been linked to the banned extremist group al-Muhajiroun and its offshoot Islam4UK, as well as Anwar al-Awlaki, the radical al-Qaeda preacher based in Yemen.

The neighbour of the three Cardiff men said he believed a "radical preacher" had "politicised" them in prison.

He claimed they had grown long beards while in jail and later handed out leaflets at the Jalalia mosque encouraging people not to vote in this year's general election, saying it was "unmuslim".

Muslim leaders said they had tipped off police about a group of extremists in the Welsh capital, where a total of five men, aged 23 to 28, were arrested.

They said they had stopped the group from holding meetings in mosques and informed police, but it was thought that MI5 was already aware of them. The group of about 15 to 20 young men was understood to have held a meeting at a community centre in Cardiff less than two weeks ago, addressed by Abu Izzadeen, a radical preacher recently released from jail.

Counter-terrorism officers were understood to have been aware of the event at the Cathays Community Centre attended by up to 30 people. The group has held events under the banner Islam4UK and Islamic Pathways among others.

n Stoke-on-Trent those arrested included men using the pseudonyms Abu Saif, 19, Abu Bosher, 26, and Abu Sumayyah, 25, who were arrested two years ago in connection with Islam4UK's plans to march through Wootton Bassett, the Wiltshire town where tributes are paid to British troops killed in Afghanistan.

Three Muslim extremists charged after attack on Galloway
2010-04-12
Sowing and reaping and all that -- a personal perspective.
George Galloway was set upon by a group of Muslim extremists while campaigning in East London this afternoon. Three men, believed to belong to the extreme sect Islam4UK, the latest name for Al-Muhajiroun, were arrested and subsequently charged with public order offences. Galloway, who is standing in the Poplar and Limehouse constituency, was with a party of supporters in Watney Market around 3pm when he and his colleagues were first abused and then attacked by the group.

"They called me a filthy Kaffir" said Galloway, "and shouted that no one should shake the 'filthy Kaffir's hand'. This lot are the latest incarnation of the banned group Al-Muhajiroun. They don't want Muslims to vote, they don't believe in democracy, and because I encourage Muslims to vote and take a full part in our society they hate me. My party, Respect, is the antidote to these despicable extremists."

Galloway's assistant Kevin Ovenden had his phone smashed in the incident and other supporters were abused and jostled.

Galloway was also attacked, held hostage and received death threats from Al-Muhajiroun, then called Al-Gourabaa, in the 2005 General Election.

Minhaj-ul-Quran to issue Fatwa against attacks on civilians
2010-01-18
[The News (Pak) Top Stories] The 600-page document, drawn up by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, declares that attacks on innocent citizens are "absolutely against the teachings of Islam".

The Minhaj-ul-Qur'aan, a Sufi organisation based in East London, which advises the British government on how to combat radicalisation of the Muslim youth, will launch the 600-page Fatwa against suicide bombings and terrorism, declaring them un-Islamic, tomorrow.

It condemns the perpetrators of terrorist explosions and suicide bombings. The document, written by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, declares the suicide bombings and terrorism as "totally un-Islamic". It is one of the most detailed and comprehensive documents of its kind to be published in Britain.

The Fatwa, which was released in Pakistan last month, uses texts from the Holy Qur'aan and other Islamic writings to argue that attacks against innocent citizens are "absolutely against the teachings of Islam and that Islam does not permit such acts on any excuse, reason or pretext." Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said: "All these acts are grave violations of human rights and constitute Kufr, disbelief, under the Islamic law."

Radical Islamists will dismiss the Fatwa, but it will be welcomed by many Muslims from the large community of South Asian heritage in Britain, among whom confusion about religious teaching is exploited by extremists seeking to recruit suicide bombers. "Extremist groups start brainwashing the young students from British universities and eventually convince them to oppose integration in the British society," said Shahid Mursaleen, a spokesman for the Minhaj-ul-Qur'aan.

The Fatwa would help fight extremist recruitment of young Muslims and was "one of the most comprehensive verdicts on this topic in the history of Islam", he added. Inayat Bunglawala, the former spokesman for the Muslim Council of Britain and founder of the new group Muslims4UK, set up to counter the radical message of the newly-banned Islam4UK and other extremist groups, welcomed the Fatwa.

Britain
Hate preacher says UK will be new Bosnia
2010-01-17
DOOM preacher Anjem Choudary has warned of a Bosnian-style bloodbath after admitting plans for a new extremist group called Democracy Is Dead.
I think it's time to deport the gentleman, with just the clothes on his back and his entire family.
The cleric forecast that a government ban on his group Islam4UK would stoke hostility between Muslims and white Britons.

He claimed there could be a repeat, on our own streets, of the 1995 massacre at Srebrenica in which Serbs slaughtered 8,000 Bosnian men and boys.

But, despite mounting tensions surrounding his views, he admitted that he is already rebranding outlawed Islam 4UK under the provocative new banner.

He said he planned to "launch a new organisation under the title Democracy Is Dead, adding: "You will have to wait and see."

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star Sunday, East London-based Choudary, 42, said: "The Government's decision to ban Islam4UK is a very dangerous one as it will only increase the potential for some very nasty conflict."

"You only have to look at what happened between Bosnia and Serbia at Srebrenica. There could be a bloodbath on the streets."

"I don't think the British people want that but, when you start to suppress ideological movements, you push them underground and there is more chance of conflict.'

"The Government has created a tinderbox situation by banning us. We were the ones calming things down."

Islam4UK was banned by Home Secretary Alan Johnson after uproar over Choudary's plans to hold a protest march in the Wiltshire village of Wootton Bassett where the public salute the bodies of soldiers brought back from Afghanistan.

But ex-lawyer Choudary was unrepentant, claiming that white Britons do not understand the strength of feeling of the Muslim population.

He said: "In some cities, one in six of the young people are Muslim. People don't realise that there are actually four to five million Muslims in the UK. Many of them do not register to vote so the Government's figures do not reflect the true size of the Muslim population."

"The Government says there are around one million Muslims in the UK but that is nowhere near accurate. Of course, most will remain silent and not complain but a few could be driven to take the law into their own hands."

"It's a very dangerous situation. You have to consider how, if there is another 7/7, the country would cope. More and more disaffected whites would be driven towards far-right extremist groups such as the British National Party and the English Defence League if there was another attack."

"If Muslims are not allowed to speak out they could be driven to use other tactics. This in turn will increase tensions with the white community. I would expect fresh attacks on Muslims and the Government will not be able to control the situation."

Islam4UK banned in UK
2010-01-12
A radical Islamist group that planned a march through Wootton Bassett will be banned under counter-terrorism laws, Home Secretary Alan Johnson has said.
Whoa! How dramatic! About as dramatic as when they banned al-Muhajiroun, in fact...
Islam4UK had planned the protest at the Wiltshire town to honour Muslims killed in the Afghanistan conflict. The government had been considering outlawing the group - Islam4UK is also known as al-Muhajiroun.
Ummm... It's already banned?
A spokesman for Islam4UK told the BBC it was an "ideological and political organisation", and not a violent one.
"We only incite violence. We don't do it as an organization, only individually."
Mr Johnson said: "I have today laid an order which will proscribe al-Muhajiroun, Islam4UK, and a number of the other names the organisation goes by. It is already proscribed under two other names - al-Ghurabaa and The Saved Sect. Proscription is a tough but necessary power to tackle terrorism and is not a course we take lightly."
Whoopdy doo. Next week there'll be a new Islamic organization making faces and issuing threats and generating demands. Coincidentally it'll be headed by Anjem Chaudry.
