Polio is a highly contagious, incurable disease that can result in permanent paralysis. Repeated doses of the oral polio vaccine (OPV) during each campaign, along with completion of all essential immunisations, remain the only effective safeguard for children under five.

Although vaccination drives across the country continue to improve in scope and quality, the southern districts of KP remain a persistent challenge.

Limited access and difficulties in carrying out house-to-house vaccination campaigns have led to thousands of children missing doses and remaining exposed to the poliovirus.

In response, targeted efforts are underway. From June 23 to 28, a special vaccination campaign in six union councils of Bannu administered OPV to 17,485 children. A similar drive is being planned for 11 union councils in North Waziristan.

Moreover, preparations are in progress for a large-scale vaccination campaign across South KP in August.

He stated: "Jihad was not waged to gain a position or to make myself a warlord or ruler. It was fought to liberate this sacred land from disbelief and corruption."

Speaking about government downsizing, he said: "Downsizing is being done to eliminate unnecessary positions that place pressure on both the budget and the people."

At the same gathering, tribal elders raised their demands regarding reconstruction, healthcare, education, and the construction of water dams and other development projects.

Juma Khan, a tribal elder in Paktia, said: "When fruits ripen in our orchards, their season passes and apples are sold for just 60 to 70 afghani per kilogram. Our neighbors profit from our fruits."

The acting minister of interior also stated that according to a decree from the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, a general amnesty has been granted to all, and no one will be held accountable for their past actions.

Sources have reported that two more Afghan citizens were killed in separate incidents in different U.S. states. These tragic events occurred yesterday and Tuesday, June 3.

The victims have been identified as Rasul Jan, a young man from Khost province

province. According to sources, Rasul Jan was shot and killed by armed robbers in Kentucky, while the motive behind Zarmin Shinwari’s killing in Oklahoma remains unclear.

U.S. police have not yet released any official statements regarding these cases. These killings mark the fourth such incident in the past week involving Afghan nationals targeted by armed assailants or armed robbers, and even U.S. coppers.

On Sunday, June 1, another Afghan citizen named Rais Silab, originally from Khost province in southern Afghanistan, was shot and killed near his home in Texas. Rais received a phone call from friends, and shortly after leaving his house, he was shot. The motive and perpetrators remain unknown.

[GEO.TV] A blast tore through a mosque on Friday in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's South Wazoo district, leaving at least four people injured including district emir of Jamaat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), police said.

Abdullah Nadeem, a leader of the JUI-F, was believed to be the target of the blast and had been hospitalised with serious injures, said DPO Asif Bahadur, a district police chief in South Waziristan.

He added that two children were among the injured. It was not immediately clear who was behind the earth-shattering kaboom.

First, you have to understand what Adams believes is the leadership apparatus of the Taliban. She believes the Taliban is wholly infused by Al Qaeda. Adams says the families have intermarried. She says three of the top leaders of the Taliban have the last name of Bin Laden.

Adams is the first to point out that the United States bankrolls the Taliban — and by extension Al Qaeda and the Bin Laden family — $40 to $80 million per week.

As I reported previously, USAID money was used for a lot of the payoff to the terrorists.

Torkham Closure Trade Losses Mount as Afghan-Pakistani Tensions Persist

Torkham, one of the most important crossings between Afghanistan and Pakistain, handles the largest volume of trade and movement between the two countries. This situation has inflicted millions of dollars in losses on traders.

Khanjan Alokozay, the head of the Afghanistan-Pakistain Joint Chamber of Commerce, stated: "Around 800 trucks pass through both sides daily; today marks the twelfth day, meaning more than six thousand trucks have been halted. Local officials in Nangarhar and the Afghan Chamber of Commerce have held multiple meetings with Pak authorities to reopen the crossing, but no progress has been made, and border festivities continue.

Zalmay Khalilzad, the former US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation, stated on X that the tensions between Afghan and Pak forces at Torkham should be resolved through diplomatic means.

Khalilzad wrote: "People are dying, and others are becoming refugees. Traders on both sides are losing millions of dollars. Each is accusing the other of sheltering bully boy groups inimical to them. Diplomacy is a better option."

Some political analysts believe that keeping border crossings closed is not a suitable solution and that Pakistain should send a delegation to Afghanistan for high-level negotiations.

"I urge the government to engage with Pakistain based on our national interests and the legitimate demands of our people—not for the benefit of a single group, ethnicity, or region," said Yousuf Amin Zazi, a political analyst.

"The Pak government has historically used the Torkham border to pressure the Islamic Emirate and the Afghan people, and it continues to do so. As a result, people in Afghanistan, Pakistain, and Central Asia are suffering widespread losses," said Fazl Rahman Oria, another political analyst.

In recent years, relations between Kabul and Islamabad have deteriorated, exacerbated by the expulsion of Afghan refugees from Pakistain and Pak attacks on Afghan soil.

After the Biden administration left Afghanistan in shame on Aug. 30, 2021, somehow, inexplicably, the U.S. government, through USAID, began to pay off the same people who tried to kill us.

According to the Horowitz Freedom Center's Daniel Greenfield, USAID laundered $1.7 billion to the Taliban through a series of banks, accounts, shell organizations, and other entities. USAID says it had no idea. You make the call after you see how Greenfield connected the banking dots.

The UN flew the currency to Afghanistan and deposited it in an unnamed 'private' bank.

Then it paid NGOs on the ground who converted the money into the Taliban's Afghani currency at an exchange rate set by the Taliban.

In November 2022, the bag men for the Afghanistan Bank crowed over the stacks of cash that fell off the back of a plane.

There was $40 million in this shipment, according to Google Translate.

Greenfield reported at Front Page Magazine that the $40 million "on the tarmac was part of a much larger scheme under which USAID and the State Department provided over $1.7 billion in funding to the U.N., which then shipped $2.9 billion in cash to Afghanistan."

Greenfield reports the money from USAID was laundered through the U.N., turned into hundreds of dollar bills at a New York bank that kept the Afghanistan bank accounts, and then put in shrink-wrapped bags on pallets and sent to the terrorists. That money, in turn, was put into private Afghanistan banks since, at the time, normal banking with the Taliban was operational. That money was then doled out to USAID-approved NGOs.

The money was to go to humanitarian causes, according to an Inspector General's report, but as we've since learned, the Taliban, and by extension, al-Qaeda, sit on the boards of all the NGOs in Afghanistan, so "humanitarian aid

" is funneled to terror training camps and other non-humanitarian needs, according to Adams. I'll just bet they'll rebuild the schools for girls they destroyed any minute now.

"USAID claimed it didn't send money to the Taliban because it put the money in UN accounts it didn't control," Greenfield reported. "UN claimed it didn't send the cash to the Taliban, just put it in a private bank and the NGOs did business with the Taliban when they converted dollars to Afghani," he says. Greenfield reported that the Biden administration "sent both dollars and Afghanis to the Taliban."

The conclusion is that this was no mistake and no misunderstanding. This was an intentional act by the Biden administration to funnel money to the Taliban.

And here's the dirty payoff. "The Biden admin funded the entire Taliban economy by not only printing money for them, but sending them the dollars to exchange for Afghanis that the Taliban used to make the Afghani into a top currency. The dollars gave the Taliban control over Afghanistan," he writes.

Not only did we cede the country, but we also paid the Taliban off to take it over, and we bugged out in shame.

This sounds similar to how Biden hid his millions of shakedown dollars from Russia ($3.5 mil), Ukraine ($6.5 mil), Romania ($3 mil), China ($8 mil), and Kazakhstan ($142,300 for Hunter to buy a car). It makes you wonder if Biden got a Taliban kickback, doesn't it?

Khan Mohammad Released After Nearly Two Decades in US Prison

[ToloNews] Khan Mohammad, an Afghan prisoner released by the United States in exchange for two American detainees, has spoken about his years of imprisonment.

He was arrested by US forces in Jalalabad in 2006 on charges of drug trafficking and plotting attacks against foreign troops. He was later sentenced to life imprisonment in a prison in California.

The 55-year-old, a resident of Chaparhar district in Nangarhar province, was freed following efforts by Afghanistan’s interim government and has now reunited with his family in Nangarhar.

Recalling his ordeal, Khan Mohammad, a former Guantanamo detainee, said: “I was accused of selling drugs and financing the Islamic Emirate. They also claimed I was involved in a major plot to attack Nangarhar airport to kill US forces. Based on these allegations, I was sentenced to two life terms.”

His son, Rafiullah, expressed relief upon hearing his father’s voice after years of separation. However, he insists that his father was innocent and demands compensation from the US government.

“No crime was ever proven against him. He spent twenty years in prison unjustly. Our demand is that the US government compensate us for the long years my father was wrongfully imprisoned,” said Rafiullah.

Meanwhile, local authorities have said that the interim government continues to work towards securing the release of other Afghan prisoners held abroad.

Azizullah Mustafa, the deputy governor of Nangarhar, said: “The Islamic Emirate is making efforts to secure the release of another detainee, Haji Mohammad Rahim, and reunite him with his family.”

Khan Mohammad’s release from a California prison comes as another Afghan, Rahimullah, remains detained at Guantanamo Bay. The interim government is actively pursuing his release as well.
