Hamas said to execute leader of Gaza’s powerful Doghmush clan; Doghmushes declare vendetta
2024-03-15 | ||
![]() Hamas ![]() reportedly killed the leader of the powerful Doghmush clan Goodness! It’s been quite a while since we’ve heard from the Doghmushes, and now they’ve gone and got themselves killed, probably due to a perceived threat to Hamas… in Gazoo...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppressionand disproportionate response... City, because the group allegedly had been stealing humanitarian aid and was suspected of having contact with Israel. Under the circumstances, I imagine that anyone who can muster enough of a threat is doing the same. That’s how low trust/high clannishness (Me-and-my-brother-against-my-cousin) societies work. Unconfirmed reports on Arab media said that the clan leader, who was not named, was "executed" in the family compound along with two others.Earlier this week, a Hamas-linked website warned Paleostinian individuals and groups against cooperating with Israel to provide security for aid convoys amid the spiraling humanitarian crisis in Gaza as war rages between Israel and Hamas. “Do not dare to protect your robberies against the rampaging Hamas minions, lest we fall upon you like wolves on the fold. Inshallah, Allah will curse all your mustaches for even thinking of self-protection against the most-beloved of the King of Lies.” Those who did would be treated as collaborators and handled with an iron fist, the Hamas al-Majd security website said, quoting a security official in Paleostinian terror forces.A less picturesque way to describe it, but conseiderably more succinct. The warning came in response to reports that Israel was considering arming some Paleostinian individuals or clans in Gaza to provide security protection for aid convoys entering the enclave as part of wider planning for humanitarian supplies after the fighting ends.Doghmush is a large, armed clan that has clashed with Hamas in the past and has a history of engaging in organized crime as well as arms trading. It leads the Army of Islam terror group and is allied with al-Qaeda. A matter of faith or merely an alliance of convenience? It kidnapped and held British journalist Alan Johnston from March to July 2007, and was also reportedly involved in the kidnapping of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit in 2006.The Doghmush clan is based in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City and in Sabra in western Gaza, the Ynet website reported. Despite the recent reports of cooperation with Israel, clans have put out a statement saying they still support Hamas, Ynet said. Whether true or not beyond the moment, it was clearly necessary. On Wednesday, Hamas said in a statement that it welcomed the clans’ announcement and praised them for refusing to cooperate with Israel, Ynet said.Gaza has a number of large traditional family clans affiliated with political factions including Hamas and Fatah, the rival group that dominates the Paleostinian Authority in the West Bank. Some of the larger clans in Gaza City and elsewhere are believed to be well-armed but they have a long history of clashing over rival interests and there has been no indication that they would consider working with Israel. Israel has not yet provided a clear plan for a postwar scenario in Gaza and has repeatedly rejected a proposal favored by the US and much of the international community to restore the Paleostinian Authority’s rule over the enclave. In seeking an alternative to both the PA and the Hamas terror regime, which it has vowed to eradicate, Israel has been floating the possibility of Gazook clans running the Strip’s civilian affairs, while the IDF would retain security control. Some experts are dubious about the feasibility of Israel’s proposal; a similar attempt was made decades ago, unsuccessfully. But experts’ skepticism is mainly due to the diminished clout that clans now hold in contemporary Gazook society, and the inevitable influence that established Paleostinian political movements would exert over them. Israel has also reportedly considered arming Gaza civilians in order to secure aid convoys. The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry says that at least 31,184 Paleostinians have been killed since October 7, and some 72,899 have been injured. The terror group’s figures are unverified, however, and don’t differentiate between civilians and combatants, of whom Israel has said it killed some 13,000 inside Gaza and an additional 1,000 inside Israel in the aftermath of the October 7 massacre. [AlMasdar] Two According to local reports from the Aleppo Governorate, the festivities broke out between Jabhat al-Shamiya (Levant Front) and Jaish al-Islam ![]() (Army of Islam) in the Afrin region, resulting in a heavy exchange of gunfire in a number of neighborhoods. The reports said the conflict between the two large bully boy factions occurred over the control of some residential buildings inside the Afrin region of the Aleppo Governorate. Furthermore, a local from Afrin told RT Arabic on Saturday: "The reason for these festivities between the Thieves falling out over distribution of loot? How sordid. He added, "Members of Jabhat al-Shamiya confiscated the money from a number of Jaish al-Islam elements coming from Libya, and after that, festivities erupted. "Well sure. One group suffered the tortures of the damned at the hands of the ‘orrid Ottoman, while the other group didn’t get paid. So naturally sleeves are rolled up in preparation for slitting throats. Local Syrian activists also confirmed that two members of Jaish al-Islam were killed and about 12 others were maimed as a result of Jabhat al-Shamiya’s attacks on the former’s headquarters in the city center.Related: Aleppo: 2021-02-05 Syrian refugee Tareq Alaows launches bid for German parliament Aleppo: 2021-02-03 Kurds and Regime End Rival Sieges in Northern Syria Aleppo: 2021-01-31 Car bomb kills five in pro-Turkey north Syria: Monitor Related: Jabhat al-Shamiya: 2019-08-12 Kurdish forces kill 8 Turkish-backed fighters in east Aleppo raid Jabhat al-Shamiya: 2016-10-28 Kurdish forces kill 30 Turkish-backed rebels in northeast Aleppo |

Syria rebel group accused of abduction, murder of key activist |
2018-08-16 |
[Al Jazeera] Since the conflict in Syria began in 2011, the government has been accused of "forcibly disappearing" tens of thousands of people, many of them peaceful protesters who later died or were killed in detention. Armed opposition groups have also been responsible for the disappearance of activists in areas they control, but on a much smaller scale. Among them was rights activist Razan Zaitouneh - one of the faces of the uprising against Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneckal-Assad Oppressor of the Syrians and the Lebs... Zaitouneh, who founded the Violation Documentation Centre, was wanted by the Syrian government for her role in peaceful protests calling for its downfall. Her centre kept track of atrocities and abuses committed not just by the government but the armed opposition, too. In December 2013, Zaitouneh, along with three of her colleagues, including her husband, disappeared after being taken at gunpoint from their office in Douma. Back then, the town on the outskirts of the Syrian capital, Damascus, was surrounded by government forces but it was under the control of the opposition. Fellow activists say Jaish al-Islam ![]() (Army of Islam), arguably the most powerful group at the time, saw 36-year-old Zaitouneh as a threat. She promoted a civil administration and a secular state which were not in line with the group's ideology. "We, the Violations Documentation Centre in Syria, are sure the Army of Islam kidnapped them," said Mazen Darwish, a Europe-based Syrian lawyer and a colleague of Zaitouneh. "We have proof that Razan was in their jails and under their direct supervision. This was until the beginning of 2017 as we were able to trace her movements. Regrettably after the beginning of 2017, information was cut and we have no knowledge about Razan." Jaish al-Islam, however, denied any involvement or knowledge of the kidnap. "Jaish al-Islam was not the only faction in Douma at the time," Hamza Bayraqdar, a spokesperson for the group said. "There was in the entire region forces from the Martyrs of Douma, forces of the Ghouta rising, the Islamic Union of the Levant and even the Nusra Front were present." Earlier this year, Jaish al-Islam was forced to surrender besieged Douma to government forces. Before leaving the area, Jaish al-Islam began releasing detainees from the Tawbeh prison. Witnesses say Razan and her colleagues were held there. |

Syrian rebels hand over arms, leave another town near Douma |
2018-04-20 |
[IsraelTimes] Syrian state media say hundreds of rebels fighters in a town northeast of Damascus have handed in their weapons and started to leave under an evacuation deal. Under the agreement, the rebels are allowed to move with their families to opposition-held areas in the country’s north, effectively surrendering their turf to Syrian government forces. The state SANA news agency says the Army of Islam fighters and their families are leaving the town of Dumayr on Thursday. The report says 1,500 rebels and 3,500 of their next of kin are to leave Dumayr for the town of Jarablus, near the Dumayr is in the Qalamoun mountains, near the eastern Ghouta region which came under full government control last week after a weeks-long offensive and an alleged chemical weapons attack. |

‘Army Of Islam': Erdogan's Plot Against Israel
2018-03-27 | |
The same article was also published on the newspaper’s website with the more explicit title: "What if an Army of Islam was Formed Against Israel?" The article openly called on the 57 member states of the OIC to form a joint "Army of Islam" to simultaneously attack Israel from the east, west, north and south. According to Israel’s Shin Bet, the source of the article appears to be the Turkish company SADAT, which among other sinister plots, is aiding Hamas with funds and military gear to create a "Palestinian" army to join in the fight against Israel. The idea of creating an "Army of Islam" to destroy Israel was accompanied by an interactive map providing formation of military forces for a joint Muslim attack on Israel. It also provides details on military forces based in various locations. Yeni Safak further explained, "If the member states of the OIC unite militarily, they will form the world’s largest and most comprehensive army. The number of active soldiers would be at least 5,206,100, while the defense budget would reach approximately $175 billion." This article provided additional details of the scandalous plan, stating that, "It is expected that 250,000 soldiers will participate in the first of a possible operation. Land, air and naval bases of member states located in the most critical regions will be used. Joint bases will be constructed in a short period of time. ... It is possible for 500 tanks and armored vehicles, 100 planes and 500 attack helicopters and 50 ships to mobilize quickly." ![]() Regardless of how absurd and troubling this suicidal plan may seem, Erdogan did not disavow the report. In fact, he has reiterated on several occasions his ambition to resurrect the Ottoman Empire, in which context he wants to create the "Army of Islam." ... MP Alparslan Kavaklioglu, a member of the ruling AKP and the head of the parliament’s Security and Intelligence Commission, recently stated: "The Muslim population will outnumber the Christian population in Europe. This... has increased the nationalistic, xenophobic and anti-Islam rhetoric there. Hence, marginal, small parties have started to get large numbers of votes... But there is no remedy for it. Europe will be Muslim. We will be effective there, Allah willing. I am sure of that." To promote the revival of the Ottoman Empire and his ambition to become the leader of the Muslim world, Erdogan exploits Islam as the common cause around which all Muslim states can rally. He uses religion to prevent questioning either his motive or the nature of his mission, and acts as if it were all ordained by God. No one should be surprised if Erdogan soon announces that Sharia law is the law of the land. He exploits Islam for personal and political gain, uses Islamic symbols and precepts to indoctrinate the public, and promotes Islamic studies in schools to cultivate a new generation of devout Muslims loyal to him. Continues.

Memri reveals Muslim call to arms to form joint ISLAMIC ARMY to invade Israel! |
2018-03-14 |
[Right Scoop] The website Memri, known for monitoring and translating the Middle East, has uncovered a doozy for us in recent days and it goes right along with what we’ve been saying about Erdogan’s plans to resurrect the fatally wounded head of the Ottoman Empire. First allow me to set the scene. On December 6, as you well know, Trump changed US policy recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and set in motion a plan to move our embassy there from Tel Aviv. That brought about outrage and protests in the Middle East ‐ some violent ‐ and condemnations from all over Muslim world of Trump’s decision. Even the UN tried unsuccessfully to get Trump to undo his decision. Then Erdogan steps up and takes charge of this issue on behalf of the Muslim world, making ominous threats against Israel that sound akin to invasion while leading the OIC to recognize East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine. That’s the backdrop. Six days after Trump made this recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, one of the top news websites in Turkey ran an article entitled "What If an Army of Islam Was Formed against Israel?" They ran it on both their newspaper (below) and on their website. |
