[ConservativeTreehouse] Former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard delivered a very strong speech to the audience of the Texas Youth Summit about the growing surveillance state. As DNI Tulsi Gabbard has direct personal knowledge of this issue. It is very well worth listening to this speech in full.
The second half of the speech touches upon the second concern noted by Gabbard, the spread of Islamist ideology and how it is against the core foundation of our constitutional republic. Tulsi explains why Islamic theology is antithetical to freedom and completely against American values. Again, exceptionally strong remarks from the former head of the entire U.S. intelligence apparatus about the threat of Islamic extremism. WATCH:

If there was a Republican primary for president between Tulsi and Thune, all of MAGA would vote for her, and Dems would be trying to mess things up by sneaking in to vote for Thune. We are behind the looking glass.

Commentary by Russian military field correspondent Aleksandr Kots
[Facebook] Putin once again held his signature political judo event. Not to crush the opponent, but to use his own strength. To help his partner do what he himself wants, and now he is already without any pressure on the right side.
On Friday, a Ukrainian delegation led by Kirill Budanov and Rustem Umerov sat down at a table with Trump's envoys in Miami. Europeans, NATO, and folders with "new ideas" were nearby. Kyiv was moving in a tight formation and expected to persuade Washington to put more pressure on Moscow.
While they were sorting out the papers, Trump spoke with Putin. Soon the sanctions on the Russian diesel were lifted.
How is this done? Trump has elections in Congress coming up, and the voter has the question: why is it so expensive to refuel. A month ago, Trump signed a tough law on sanctionsKyivon our energy sector. It didn't become cheaper at the gas stations. Putin did not argue with this law and did not demand concessions. He simply offered a solution to someone else's problem. Trump took up the cause himself.
This is the main point: the White House does not feel like a loser. The American president declared victory, and he will go to the elections with it too. The Russians got a modest role as a convenient supplier. Perhaps this is the elegance of the reception. A good fighter doesn't need the applause of the audience, he needs an opponent on his shoulders.
By the way, the opponent had it worse. Literally the day before, Zelensky publicly taught Americans how to deal with Russia: "Shut Russia's mouth. Don't feed them with your sales." He clearly expected that Washington would listen. He brought himself into imbalance.
Now, from Kiev, an offended voice is coming: lifting sanctions is an "obvious weakness," America is "playing on Russia." He says this while his delegation is staying with Trump and waiting for "new ideas." Is it pleasant for the master to hear that he is a weakling, from guests who came for help? It's unlikely.
The main strength of Kiev now is drones that are flying over our oil plants. Because of these strikes, Moscow had to ban diesel exports in the summer. Trump himself tied the volumes promised to America to the "state of the oil refineries." If Zelensky continues to burn Russian plants and disrupt supplies, he will be hit by prices at American gas stations the day before the elections. In Trump's eyes, this is a threat to his power. Trump does not forgive such things.
In Miami today is the second day of negotiations. The only thing that has already happened there is, without the Kiev delegation.
More from Boris Rozhin: The USA is happy Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin
The US is happy with the agreement with Russia on diesel fuel, Washington needed this deal (c) Trump
The US Treasury Department has just lifted sanctions on Russian diesel. This applies not only to fuel sales to the US, but also to sales to world markets. The cocaine führer said that all of this is "unfair, dishonest and is a birthday present for Putin." Well, come on, drink some more...

6. Putin emphasized that Kiev's efforts to stop the advance of the Russian army have no prospects - Russian troops have full initiative and are advancing;
7. Resumption of negotiations with Ukraine is currently impossible due to Kiev's position, which tried to disrupt the elections, Putin emphasized - Trump should instruct the Ukrainian delegation to convey the signals received from Putin;
8. Putin noted the need to reach an agreement with Iran - the possibilities of diplomacy on the Iranian track have not been exhausted;
9. The issue of holding a bilateral meeting between the leaders has not yet been specifically discussed. Putin and Trump will find an opportunity to cross paths on the sidelines of the APEC summit if they both take part in it

Reporter: Zelensky said that you are weak because of your oil deal with Russia.
[NYP] When he took the oath of office last January, Mayor Mamdani pledged that his administration would serve everyone in Gotham, without fear or favor.
As he put it at a frigid City Hall, “If you are a New Yorker, I am your mayor. Regardless of whether we agree, I will protect you, celebrate with you, mourn alongside you and never, not for a second, hide from you.”
These days, the sweeping pledge sounds like a bad joke — or a bald-faced lie.
Mamdani’s dismal performance has been a painful wake-up call to those who foolishly believed and trusted him.
But the extent to which his dangerously radical beliefs take precedence over his pledge was never more obvious than last week.
Two shocking incidents demonstrated that his allegiance is reserved for his warped ideology, and everyone and everything else can go to hell.
First, he demonstrated that his hatred for Israel has metastasized into a cancer that makes him unfit for his job.
No mayor in modern history has singled out one group of New Yorkers the way Mamdani has targeted Jews.
On top of his relentless condemnation of Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he is the first mayor in six decades to boycott the Salute to Israel parade.
Still, he had an opportunity on Oct. 7, the third anniversary of the Hamas terrorist invasion, to prove he could rise above personal prejudices to be a mayor for all New Yorkers.
Instead, he chose to deliver heartless remarks that flipped facts and truth on their heads.
With an outrageous effort to depict all Palestinians as victims of an Israeli “genocide,” Mamdani made it clear he has no desire to build bridges to those who don’t agree with him.
His statement was an unsubtle declaration that his duties always will take a back seat to his radical agenda’s battering ram.
Signs of that have been apparent ever since he entered the mayoral race, but coming late in his first year in office, his Oct. 7 statement amounts to a “burn the boats” moment.
He boarded up the exits and left himself no wiggle room for compromise or decency.
Instead, he made it cruelly clear he has no intention of changing his tone.
He has learned nothing from history.
Gotham’s best mayors proved their mettle under fire and earned widespread gratitude by putting their obligations first, and their politics and personal prejudices second.
In Mamdani’s case, it is now certain he intends to fight the lone Jewish state and its New York supporters with every tool at his disposal.
That conclusion is the only one that makes sense given his atrocious statement marking the deadliest day for Jews since the end of the Holocaust.
He noted the scope of the slaughter in a perfunctory single paragraph, saying the anniversary “marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss.”
From there, the entire speech was an acid attack on Israel.
He blasted the Israeli government’s “devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians — including more than 21,000 children.”
The numbers are from the Gazan health ministry, which is controlled by Hamas.
The masters of terror also would have applauded the remainder of his statement.
“Even since the so-called cease-fire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed,” he claimed, again using Hamas’ numbers.
He went on to exhibit his ignorance by accusing Israel of bombing “ambulances waiting outside hospitals,” of “targeting” residential buildings and journalists and of turning away shipments of food aid.
From there, it was pure domestic politics, saying “our tax dollars fund these war crimes” and that “we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment.”
Shamefully, no prominent officials from Albany or the five boroughs rose to denounce his attack on our embattled ally.
The job was left to Israel’s UN ambassador, Danny Danon, who compared the mayor’s bid to make Hamas the victim to “turning September 11 into a day of mourning for al-Qaeda terrorists.”
Wrong side again Writing on X, Danon defined “ ‘Mamdani-ism’ as “an attempt to hijack the anniversary of October 7 and turn it into yet another propaganda attack against Israel.”
The second extremely troubling incident last week came when the mayor took the side of an illegal immigrant with a criminal record who recklessly tried to escape from immigration agents in The Bronx.
Agents wounded him as he tried to flee in his car with his 5-year-old son in the backseat.
In a late-night news conference, Mamdani said he spoke to President Trump and told him the city wants all ICE agents out.
“All they do is terrorize this city,” the mayor said of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.
He accused the agency of acting “with impunity” and spreading “chaos and terror” across the country.
“Today’s shooting is only further devastating confirmation of what we have long known,” the mayor said publicly, that “ICE is rotten to its core.”
Bull.
ICE agents risk their lives to protect the public from dangerous thugs.
It’s Mamdani’s policy that is rotten to the core.
The Post reports that the Dominican man in the current case, Oscar Belgal, 28, probably entered America illegally in 2022 under Joe Biden’s open-border policy.
He is suspected of carrying out an armed robbery a year later, of selling dangerous drugs and of being connected to the Trinitarios, a violent street gang.
This is the sort of “New Yorker” Mamdani wants to celebrate and defend.
Markwayne Mullin, secretary of Homeland Security, put the blame on New York’s sanctuary laws, which largely ban local cooperation with the feds.
He said those policies prevented agents from catching Belgal earlier and created the dangerous confrontation that unfolded in The Bronx.
“Sanctuary politicians create an environment for criminal activity to thrive, not for American citizens to be safe,” he said.
“When you have sanctuary cities and politicians, you endanger the safety of the public.”
That message is also lost on Gov. Hochul, who again showed she will never criticize Mamdani, lest she turn off his supporters in her desperate re-election campaign.
She said on X that she also spoke to Trump and Mullin, huffing and puffing that “I expressed outrage on behalf of New Yorkers and urged them to halt ICE enforcement operations in New York.”
Imagine that — she also claims to speak for all New Yorkers when she is defending a criminal illegal alien.
If there were any doubt, we know for certain whose side Hochul and Mamdani are on.

He lied to some really stupid people. NYC will look like the UK by the end of his term. Not sure that the process can be reversed. The Muslims will embed themselves into the ward structure like ticks. The Italians and Jews will be displaced. There will be heavy pressure on other minorities once the Sharia push gets going.

mamdani will get re-elected because by the time of the next election most of NY will be Muslim and unlike other religions Muslims will support their own best interests.
I got a text yesterday, that sent me to this web page. Ignoring the fund raising, I find the analysis interesting.
[TPAction] We've looked at the polling in every swing state and swing race in the country. It's margin of error, either way, almost everywhere.
At this point, it’s not about winning anybody over. It's about who actually shows up.
If conservatives turn out in November, we’ll win every critical battleground and lay the groundwork for victory in 2028 and beyond.
That's why Turning Point Action is focusing all our efforts on three key states: Arizona, Nevada, and New Hampshire.
We call these states the new RED WALL.
Let me explain why they matter so much...
After 2024, Charlie looked at the numbers, looked at the maps, and told our team something simple. If we lock down Arizona, Nevada, and New Hampshire, the Left's entire strategy falls apart. Their map collapses. Their path back to power disappears.
Here's why...
Winning the presidency comes down to 270 electoral votes. Lose Arizona and most of the realistic paths to the White House in 2028 are gone. Lose Nevada and New Hampshire and the Left rebuilds the Blue Wall they lost in 2024.
Whoever wins in 2028 controls the 2030 Census. The Census drives redistricting. Redistricting sets the congressional map for the next ten years.
This midterm decides which way that goes.
We’re not sitting around waiting on November and hoping everything falls our way. Our teams are already on the ground in these three states, doing the actual work.
Turning Point has sent me a bunch of texts asking me to join in the door knocking, for some reason. And I’m getting a couple of texts a day pointing me to surveys that will not submit unless I pledge money. Very frustrating.
Knocking doors. Registering voters. Chasing down every conservative ballot until it's counted. Clipboard and tennis shoes work, the kind that doesn't trend online but wins elections.
We proved this model in 2024.
We ran the most sophisticated ballot-chasing operation the Right has ever put together, and we won every single state where we ran it. 10 for 10.
Now we're doing it again, in the three states that decide everything this time.
This is how you can help us win this November.
Every dollar you send fuels the machine we're building in Arizona, Nevada, and New Hampshire right now. More volunteers in the field. More doors knocked. More voters registered. More ballots chased before Election Day.
Chip in $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can today by scrolling to the bottom of this page. It goes straight to locking down these key states and guaranteeing the future of our America First movement.
The Left knows exactly what's riding on this. That's why they're pouring more money into these states than ever before. If we hold Arizona, Nevada, and New Hampshire, their whole plan collapses, not just this year, but for a decade.
This is a grassroots fight, won door by door. We just need the resources to keep our people out there.
Don't sit this one out. Every day between now and the midterms counts.
For Charlie,
Tyler Bowyer

P.S. 2026 sets the table for 2028. Arizona, Nevada, and New Hampshire are where that fight gets decided, right now, on the ground.
