Non-Carlsons, Part 3: Two Non-Jewish Women With Media Voices Standing With the Jews and Israel
[PJMedia] On this third anniversary of the October 7 attacks on Israel, I present the third installment of "Non-Carlsons: Prominent Non-Jews Who Stand With Jews and Israel." I launched the series in 2025, after StopAntisemitism named Tucker Carlson its "Antisemite of the Year," to honor the steadfast non-Jewish friends of Jews and the Jewish state amid a disturbing rise in the world's oldest hatred.

You'll notice one glaring oversight: there are no women in the first two columns, which featured Glenn Beck, President Donald Trump
...Never got invited to a P.Diddy party...
, Victor Davis Hanson, Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.), Larry Elder, Hugh Hewitt, Sean Hannity, Dinesh D'Souza, and Douglas Murray. I had Carlson in mind as the point of comparison, and so my list was male: brave men versus one very cowardly one.

The women in this column are every bit as brave as those nine men.

Last Friday, Tucker Carlson offered the latest example of his moral depravity, criticizing Britannia's decision to fight Adolf Hitler
...late Fuehrer of Germany, founder of the Third Reich, currently communing with his pals Himmler and Heydrich. He is reincarnated every few days, sometimes every few hour if it's an election year, as a politician somebody doesn't like...
. In an interview with Carlson, former Tory minister Jacob Rees-Mogg said Carlson was "verging on defending Hitler." Now, on the anniversary of the October 7 attacks, nationally syndicated radio host Dana Loesch has taken to X to dismantle a similarly indefensible rewriting of history.

Responding to Piers Morgan's Wednesday post blaming Israel for a "massively disproportionate" response to the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust, Loesch found the perfect analogy: blaming a rape victim.

There are so many more examples of Loesch's moral clarity when it comes to Israel's fight against enemies that want to destroy the West, but I'll choose just a couple.

Carlson has been dubbed "Tucker Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
lson" by radio host Mark Levin, implying that he's being paid by Qatar to bash Israel and promote Islam. Loesch, discussing a 2026 poll showing that Israel's favorability rating has swung 67 percent negative among Americans, brought up Qatar's role in this unfortunate development: "What's crazy about this is it's all this—I mean, it's all inorganic—it's a psyop that's been targeted. And let me tell you: If you think the Qataris and all these other Islamists that have been funding the public influence operation on this, if you think that they're not gonna come for American values next, you're part of the problem."

She then went on to condemn the "Genocide in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
" lie: "Genocide in Gaza is the new '15 days to slow the spread.' Genocide in Gaza is the new BLM. Because there isn't a genocide in Gaza. The numbers don't support it even remotely."

Australian journalist Erin Molan is not a coward and does not need to lie to explain the threat a public figure faces for defending Israel. As she told Friends of the IDF:

I think I now understand that it comes in different forms — courage — and that the battlefield that we face isn't just combat. It isn't just in the midst of the Middle East. It's an online battle. It's a battle for voices. It's a battle for common sense. It's a battle to show young people what matters and why. And there are consequences for using your voice, particularly in this space.

Molan related a story from her first trip to Israel that explains the very reason why I'm writing this column: to show how encouraging it is for Jews to know that they have friends who stand with them when it feels like the entire world is against them. A man ran up to her and gave her a small, dirty Israeli flag on Velcro, explaining that it had been on his uniform on October 7. He told her that he had lost some friends and had been sent into Gaza, which he found terrifying. Molan continued:

And he said, on top of that, we realized a couple of days in that the world thought we were the bad guys. And he said, "My mom sent me one of your clips about two weeks after the war started." And he said, "It was the first time we realized that we weren't alone, and that someone apart from our people believed in us and knew that we were the heroes and not the bad guys." And he said, "It kept us going." He said, "Every week we would gather around, my troops and I, and watch your monologue from the start of your Sky News show." And I had tears flowing down.

#1  Excellent piece, although no mention of 'British' Lord Kitchener solutions, or the only Afrikaans werd many know, that being Apartheid. No mention made of the origins of the phrase Konsentrasie Kamp. Not a German phrase BTW. The Winburg SA, Boer War Concentration Camp and Cemetery, open to the public, along with dozens of others. Yes, 'British solutions.'

#2  Yes. Jews were among the civilians interned in the British concentration camps during the Second Boer War (1899-1902), and some Jewish men, women, and children died there. However, they were not imprisoned because they were Jewish. They were interned as part of the broader Boer civilian population or as residents of the Boer republics.

A small number of the 28,000 who died in the camps were Jewish farmers. They too were simply, in Lord Kitchener's 'British solutions' way.

A conveniently forgotten part of history.

Trump administration freezes green cards for Microsoft, IT firms, probes universities
[Reuters] The US suspended Microsoft, major IT outsourcers and software maker Adobe from a key green-card program on Thursday while opening probes into nine top universities, widening a crackdown it says targets fraud and protects American ‌jobs.

Since taking office, US President Donald Trump has pursued a broad effort to reduce the number of foreign-born people in the US and curtail their pathway to residence and citizenship. Thursday's twin actions mark the broadest strike yet against skilled-worker immigration programs — potentially cutting off a common path to permanent residency for foreign tech workers — while putting some of the country's top research universities on notice.

"There has been no company in the United States, unfortunately, that has abused the system more than Microsoft," Vice President JD Vance said. He said the company laid off 6,000 American workers last year while benefiting from 6,300 H-1B temporary worker visas and nearly 3,000 green cards.

His comments came hours before Trump honored tech billionaires for their contributions to America, including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. Nadella once held an H-1B visa, as did Elon Musk, who was also honored, while three of the other CEOs honored are immigrants.

Nadella thanked Trump for the medal, saying in a post on X he would continue to advance technology and drive American prosperity.

Microsoft is the largest filer of PERM applications, or the permanent labor certification process, according to data from the US labor department. Under PERM, which most employment-based green cards require, employers must show a foreign hire will not hurt US workers' wages or jobs.

The company said in a statement that about 80% of the H-1B applications it filed in the last fiscal year were to extend or change the status of current employees, not to hire new workers. In July, the company said it would cut 4,800 jobs, or about 2.1% of its global workforce.

"The international community needs to work together to deal with this threat. Pakistain is fighting a global war against terrorism," Mr Naqvi said.

The meeting, also attended by Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudary, discussed the global and regional situation and matters related to UN peacekeeping missions.

The interior minister said that Pakistain would continue to play its full role in UN peace missions, adding that officers and personnel of Pak police were also serving in the UN police. He noted that Pakistain had sacrificed 181 lives in peace missions.

The UN chief said that Pakistain’s participation in UN peace missions had always remained prominent, adding that Islamabad’s role for world peace was commendable.

Mr Naqvi thanked the UN secretary general for extending generous assistance to Pakistain during natural disasters. Special secretary interior, additional secretary interior and bigwigs were also present on the occasion.

Mr Guterres recognised Pakistain’s participation in peacekeeping missions, saying it had always been "prominent". "Pakistain’s role in world peace is commendable," he said.

After the meeting, Mr Guterres concluded his two-day visit to Pakistain, which "provided an important opportunity to reaffirm Pakistain’s longstanding partnership with the United Nations", the Foreign Office said in a statement.

Islamic State in Somalia Suffers Major Financial Setback After Puntland Operations
[GaroweOnline] Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. 's branch in Somalia has suffered a major decline in its financial capacity after military operations by Puntland
...a region in northeastern Somalia, centered on Garowe in the Nugaal province. Its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 1998. Puntland and the equally autonomous Somaliland seem to have avoided the clan rivalries and warlordism that have typified the rest of Somalia, which puts both places high on the list for Islamic subversion...
and US support disrupted key networks used by the group to collect and transfer funds, according to a new report by the Africa Center for Strategic Studies.

The report said Islamic State in Somalia had previously generated hundreds of thousands of dollars each month, with much of its income coming from extortion and illegal taxes imposed on businesses, as well as revenues linked to financial services.

US authorities have estimated that the group raised about $2.5 million in 2021 and nearly $2 million during the first six months of 2022. The figures illustrate the scale of the financial networks that the group developed before recent counterterrorism operations disrupted parts of its funding system.

A key component of that network was al-Karrar, an Islamic State-linked financial hub that played an important role in managing funds and facilitating support for the group's affiliates in other parts of Africa and beyond.

A 2026 US assessment said al-Karrar remained important for transferring money between Islamic State's Somalia branch and other elements of the group's global network.

One of the most significant blows to the group's financial structure came in 2025 with the arrest of Abdiweli Mohammed Yusuf, whom the United States had previously identified as the head of Islamic State-Somalia's financial operations.

US authorities said Yusuf was responsible for managing part of the group's revenue and facilitating the movement of money, fighters and supplies.

Puntland's military campaign against Islamic State, which began in late 2024, has also disrupted networks involved in extortion and illegal taxation. The Africa Center for Strategic Studies said the operations had significantly weakened the group's ability to generate revenue and sustain its activities inside Somalia.

The report nevertheless warned that the financial pressure has not eliminated Islamic State's ability to operate.

The group retains limited sources of income that could allow it to maintain smaller-scale operations and preserve some links with its wider international network, according to the assessment.

The financial decline could constrain the group's ability to recruit fighters, purchase weapons and supplies, pay operatives and maintain logistical networks. But analysts say disruption of revenue streams does not necessarily translate into the complete collapse of an gang, particularly when it retains access to local sources of funding and external networks.

Puntland forces, backed by US Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s and other forms of international support, have conducted sustained operations against Islamic State positions in the mountainous areas of Bari region. The campaign has targeted the group's fighters, leadership and infrastructure.

The developments have placed growing pressure on Islamic State's Somalia branch, which has sought to maintain a presence in northern Somalia while serving as an important financial and logistical node for the group's broader network.

The Africa Center said continued pressure on the group's financial infrastructure could further restrict its operational capacity, but stressed that the remaining funding channels mean the threat has not disappeared.

The findings underline the importance of targeting financial networks alongside military operations, as Islamic State's ability to collect and move money remains a key factor in determining its capacity to survive and adapt.

EgyptAir pilot sparks fear after posting El Al plane video with threatening speech on Oct. 7
[IsraelTimes] Video features audio of Egypt’s Sadat invoking ‘eye for an eye’ threat to Israel in 1973; pilot says it has no connection to last week’s flydubai attack; clip said filmed in Milan

An Egyptian pilot has sparked concern after posting a video on Instagram on Wednesday that zoomed in on an EgyptAir plane pulling up next to an El Al jet, set to audio of a remixed version of a threatening 1973 speech by then-Egyptian president Anwar Sadat.

In the speech, Sadat promised that Egypt would take Dire Revenge against Israel. "Let the Israelis remember what I always said: ’An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth,’" he said in remarks delivered during the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

As of Thursday night, the video posted by Osama Mansour, who describes himself on social media as a pilot for EgyptAir, had more than 6,300 likes and 1.3 million views on Instagram.

Mansour posted the video on the third anniversary of the October 7, 2023, Hamas

-led onslaught in southern Israel. It came a week after a copilot on flydubai Flight 1073, carrying 180 mostly Israeli passengers from Dubai to Tel Aviv, attempted to crash the plane in a terror attack that would have killed everyone on board.

A small group of Israelis and the plane’s Indian captain succeeded in thwarting the terror attack, but it has prompted immense concern in Israel about security in air travel.

The Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera reported that, in an Instagram message, Mansour denied the video had any connection to the flydubai flight and said he was expressing pride in the Egyptian airline. The paper identified the airport where the video was taken as Milan Malpensa.

According to Channel 12, United Airlines suspended a pilot on Wednesday after employees reported him for posts praising the October 7 onslaught. A United flight attendant told the network that the posts drew concern in light of the flydubai attack.

As Munir's military takes on Gulf role [in SA], Pakistan's parliament is not involved
[Reuters] Eleven years after Pakistan's parliament voted to keep the country out of a Saudi-led intervention in Yemen in 2015, Islamabad has agreed to rapidly ‌deploy more forces to Saudi Arabia without a parliamentary vote, highlighting the military's grip on foreign policy under Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Pakistan: not a normal country with a normal military but a military with a country.
On Monday, a defence pact Pakistan signed with Saudi Arabia and Turkey in August was invoked for the first time, as the kingdom faces escalating attacks from Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis.

Constitutional changes last year had put Munir in command of all three services until 2030, with lifetime rank as field marshal and immunity from criminal prosecution.

Analysts say the deployment signals the growing power of the military at home, where jailed former prime minister Imran Khan's party is marching on Islamabad, accusing the army of dominating politics - an accusation the army denies.

"There were times in the past when Pakistan's parliament would vote not to send troops, and the military would abide by that decision. But it's a different era now," said Michael Kugelman, a resident senior fellow for South Asia at the Atlantic Council.
Pakistan's information ministry said the alliance "has gone through all necessary government procedures" but did not say whether the cabinet or parliament was involved, calling details of the deployment "a matter of operational confidentiality."

It's not clear if Pakistani troops will take part in operations against the Houthis, who are backed by Iran. Pakistan is actively engaged with Tehran in its role as a mediator in the US-led war on Iran, but if Islamabad gets involved in directly fighting the Houthis, that could rupture relations.

The Houthis declared a ban on Saudi shipping in July and have since struck tankers and oil facilities. Last week, the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said the militant group had hit a power station in Medina that supplies electricity to the Prophet's Mosque - a claim the Houthis denied.

After an emergency meeting in Riyadh that Munir attended with Saudi and Turkish counterparts, the three countries condemned attempted attacks on Mecca and ‌Medina and said they would "provide the agreed military forces and capabilities and ensure their rapid deployment" in line with each country's "national legislation".

German outlet says Iran planning attacks against US bases in Germany
[Rudaw] Iranian intelligence agencies are planning operations against two US bases in Germany, a German media outlet claimed Thursday, amid recent reports that American bomber aircraft were being moved from the UK over concerns about potential Iranian attacks.

The privately owned WirtschaftsWoche said its "research" identified the bases as Ramstein Air Base in Rhineland-Palatinate, in southwestern Germany, and Spangdahlem Air Base in the Eifel region of the same state.

According to the German outlet, the air base houses a "satellite relay station" that coordinates signals for US drones in the Middle East. Protests erupt in the Bronx after ICE officer shoots man during immigration operation
[FoxNews] An ICE agent shot and injured a man in the U.S. illegally during a targeted immigration enforcement operation in New York City on Thursday afternoon, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Protests erupted in the Bronx in response to the shooting, leading to multiple arrests as demonstrators were seen blocking federal vehicles and smashing car windows.

Dozens of protesters were seen on video clashing with law enforcement officers, at times pushing against barricades as tensions escalated.

Many wore masks and carried signs reading "ICE out of NYC," while others chanted, "Set him free, let him stay, full rights for immigrants."

The shooting took place around 4 p.m. in the Marble Hill neighborhood of the Bronx, where ICE officers were attempting to arrest a man from the Dominican Republic, according to a DHS spokesperson.

DHS said the man, who has been identified as a 28-year-old illegal immigrant, had a prior grand larceny conviction and previous arrests involving assault, robbery, drug possession and weapons possession. The agency also alleged that he had ties to the Trinitarios gang.

The agency said the man was arrested by the New York Police Department on Dec. 7, 2023, but was released several days later. DHS blamed New York City's sanctuary policies for his release.

During a news conference Thursday evening, New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said the man had two prior arrests in New York City. Tisch said the man pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny in connection with a 2023 robbery and was sentenced to five years of probation. He was also arrested in 2025 on a charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance, a case that remains pending.

During Thursday's operation, an ICE officer discharged a weapon, injuring the man, according to DHS. The agency did not specify what prompted the officer to open fire or how many shots were fired.

ICE officers immediately provided medical assistance, DHS said. The man survived and was taken to a nearby hospital

Tisch confirmed that a 5-year-old boy, believed to be the man's son, was inside the vehicle during the incident. She said NYPD officers later located the child during a welfare check and confirmed he was safe and in the care of a family member.

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani also spoke at the Thursday night press conference, announcing that he spoke to President Donald Trump on the phone for about two hours in efforts to have the illegal immigrant released. He said those efforts were unsuccessful.

Mamdani also accused ICE of acting "with impunity" and spreading "chaos and terror" across the country, alleging that the agency has killed more people than it has saved.

"Today's shooting is only further devastating confirmation of what we have long known," the mayor said, adding that, "ICE is rotten to its core."

The Grand Turk
Patriarchate of Constantinople is pitting Bulgarians and Greeks against each other for the sake of Erdogan's dominance
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
by Igor Ivanenko

[Regnum] Recently, residents of Sofia witnessed a grand military-religious ceremony dedicated to the transfer of the remains of the medieval Bulgarian Tsar Samuil to the capital.

From Thessaloniki, where the relic was kept in the local museum's collections, it was flown by military transport aircraft. Two pairs of fighter jets conducted special flyovers over Sofia, and a 21-gun fireworks display lit up the capital's sky.

The coffin containing the royal remains was transported to the place of rest by a special military cortege, accompanied by a ceremonial procession led by the republic's top officials.

"The soul of a great ruler has finally found peace in his homeland," said Vice President Iliana Yotova , who is acting head of state. Her predecessor in the presidential chair, Rumen Radev , who now heads the cabinet, saw the Greeks' handover of the historical artifact as a symbol of reconciliation in the Balkans.

True, Athens's agreement with the Eastern Balkan state was not entirely gratuitous, but in exchange for a collection of fifty church valuables looted from Greece by Bulgarian troops during World War I. These included icons, clerical vestments, precious covers for ancient Gospels, and the like.

The great ceremony with which the country greeted its former ruler is explained by Tsar Samuil's enormous role in its history. At the end of the 10th century, he led a rebellion against the Byzantine Empire, effectively recreating the First Bulgarian Empire. For nearly three decades, he led the reborn state, repelling the expansion of the most powerful European power.

Tsar Samuil's stronghold was primarily the territory in the southwest of the Balkan Peninsula. Today, it corresponds to the borders of Greece, North Macedonia, and Albania. It was there, in northern Greece, that the remains of the Bulgarian monarch were discovered in the 1960s, their fate becoming the subject of diplomatic controversy since the end of the last century.

When the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia gained independence, its political leaders began to dispute Samuel's succession with Bulgaria. The Tsar, who ruled from what is now North Macedonia's Ohrid and Prespa, began to be seen by local politicians as the founder of their state.

In the historical dispute between Sofia and Skopje, the European Union sided with the former. Bulgaria's EU membership likely played a role. North Macedonia, which has been unsuccessfully attempting to join the organization for many years, was ordered by EU officials to remove "anti-Bulgarian propaganda" (including the denial of Samuil's Bulgarian identity) from school textbooks.

The transfer of the former monarch's ashes was a tangible victory for Sofia. Notably, it occurred in the midst of the presidential election campaign, with voting scheduled for October 25.

The center-left and moderately Eurosceptic alliance of Yotova and Radev is significantly ahead of other political forces. According to recent polls, approximately 44% of voters who decide to vote are prepared to cast their ballots for the vice president. The main intrigue is whether Yotova will win in the first round.

The ceremony, which took place last weekend, was apparently aimed at consolidating the patriotic electorate, regardless of party affiliation, around the leader of the election race.

The votes of supporters of the center-right GERB party (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria) are crucial. It has the second-largest parliamentary faction after Progressive Bulgaria, which Radev effectively leads, but has not nominated a presidential candidate.

However, the ceremony is not limited to a purely utilitarian, election-related interpretation. Moreover, Prime Minister Radev himself has unequivocally declared the birth and strengthening of his country's strategic alliance with Greece. This alliance is fertile ground for the two countries' conflicts over "political Macedonianism."

Clearly, such an alliance is bound to generate enthusiasm among another regional player—Turkey. The differences between Ankara and Athens are well-known, and Sofia has been drifting between these geopolitical opponents for decades.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms, a party that relies on the Turkish ethnic minority and Muslim Bulgarians, has a very strong position in the Bulgarian political system.

The veteran of Bulgarian politics, GERB leader Boyko Borisov , is often called Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's best friend . During Borisov's tenure, the government grew closer to Ankara and had strained relations with Athens. Now, however, a different trend is emerging.

Turkey has no plans to stand idly by as the geopolitical balance in the Balkans shifts. The events surrounding the exchange of relics between Bulgaria and Greece had barely concluded when Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople made a resonant statement .

He demanded that Sofia also return other religious treasures once removed from Northern Greece. He justified his participation in the discussion by citing the fact that several Greek dioceses are under his spiritual jurisdiction, "although they are temporarily transferred to the administration of the Greek Orthodox Church," as noted in the hierarch's message.

This statement could provoke complications within the declared alliance between the two Orthodox states, as the exchange of relics did not completely resolve the existing differences.

Bulgarian officials are evading questions about the precise terms of the transfer of church valuables to Greece in exchange for Samuel's remains. Officials make it clear that the collection is not being handed over "permanently" and is supposedly to be returned after its display in Greece.

Greek authorities occasionally speak of their desire to repatriate ecclesiastical and cultural treasures housed in the so-called "secret collection" of the Bulgarian National Museum of Antiquities. These include priceless medieval manuscripts, liturgical books, fragments of iconostases, and even the relics of Greek saints, all of which were transported to the Slavic country. Hundreds of ancient artifacts are involved.

It is clear that Bartholomew's intervention is provoking internal political tensions in both Bulgaria and Greece, as it provides a platform for critics of the deal to speak out.

In the case of Bulgaria, this also risks influencing the electoral process, as Bartholomew's visit to the Eastern Balkan state is scheduled to begin on October 19. He will likely use it to pressure the "overly pro-Greek" leaders in Sofia, in the interests of his patron in Ankara.

PKK announces withdrawal of all fighters from Turkey, abandonment of tunnels
[Rudaw] The Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) on Thursday announced that it had withdrawn all its remaining fighters from Turkey and abandoned several tunnels near the Turkish border, describing the moves as part of its commitment to the peace process with Ankara and urging the Turkish government to take further steps to advance it.

“A few days ago our freedom movement withdrew all remaining forces from Turkey that posed no risk of armed confrontation. This is intended to leave the AKP [Justice and Development Party] government with no opportunity to put forward pretexts or use them to justify its inadequate approach to the process,” the group said in a statement carried by the PKK-affiliated ANF news agency.

The PKK, which dissolved itself and decided to lay down arms in May 2025 following a call from its leader Abdullah Ocalan, announced in October of the same year that it would withdraw all its remaining fighters from Turkey. Ocalan has been imprisoned on Turkey’s Imrali island since 1999.

In Thursday's statement, the group also announced the evacuation of “four war tunnels and positions” on Mount Metin, northeast of the Kurdistan Region’s Duhok province, near the Turkish border, “so that the Turkish state cannot regard them as a threat.”

“In doing so, we have fulfilled all the requirements of our strategy to end the armed struggle against Turkey and continue the struggle through democratic and political means,” the statement added.

The PKK has used several names since its dissolution, with its latest statement issued under the name “The Kurdish Movement Leadership.”

Over 40% of likely young voters view Islamic Sharia law positively, according to Rasmussen poll
[Just The News] Nearly half of likely young voters, 43%, view Islamic Sharia law positively, according to a new poll.

The demographic of likely voters between the ages of 18 and 24 hold a different view than the majority of voters polled of all ages, 57%, who hold a negative view.

The poll was conducted by Rasmussen Reports and a nonprofit organization, Our Republic, on Sept. 20. The results were released just a few weeks ahead of the November 3 election.

In response to the findings, outgoing U.S. Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, said, "Sharia law is incompatible with our Constitution and has no place in America. But it's on the rise." That’s why he and U.S. Rep. Keith Self, R-Texas, launched the Sharia Free America Caucus, he said.

Roy has introduced several bills related to Sharia law and other Islamic-related issues, which have gone nowhere in Congress, The Center Square reported Roy, an outspoken opponent of Sharia law, lost his primary in March.

According to the poll, voters were asked, "Sharia is a system of Islamic religious principles and law, derived primarily from the Quran and the teachings and practices of Muhammad, that addresses matters including religious practice, personal conduct, family life, finance, and often civil and criminal law. Do you have a positive or negative opinion about sharia?"

According to the responses, 43% of likely voters between the ages of 18 and 24 hold a positive view. However, they are not alone. Significant percentages of voters under 40 hold positive views of Sharia Law.

They include 39% of voters (between 25 and 29); 36% of voters (between 30 and 35); 22% of voters (between 35 and 39) polled.

When it comes to whether they would support a law requiring public schools to teach students "about the benefits of sharia law," 76% said they wouldn’t.

When asked "if a majority of people in an American town, city, or state were to want sharia law, would you support a proposal that would allow sharia to become the legal code for all citizens in that town, city, or state?" The majority, 83%, responded no. Only 7 percent said they would support it; 10% said they weren’t sure.

He stands by his remarks even in 2026.

His statement in 2001 made any intellectual and political discussion of or opposition to Islam near impossible because it would be tantamount to hindering the war effort.

These numbers are alarming but not surprising. They're the logical consequence of Western finlandization in the face of Islam.

Day 2: Minnesota teen charged with ISIS-inspired plot on Jewish-owned Mall of America
[IsraelTimes] Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud, 18, purchased assault rifle and told an undercover FBI agent he wanted to attack shopping center because its owners are Jewish

The FBI accused an 18-year-old man of buying an AK-47 assault rifle with plans to commit a mass shooting in support of ISIS at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, the largest indoor shopping mall in North America.

Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud, of Richfield, Minnesota, was charged Wednesday with one count of knowingly receiving a firearm and ammunition in order to commit a federal crime of terrorism, according to a federal complaint filed on Wednesday.

Mohamud’s attorney did not respond to JTA’s request for comment.

Mohamud wanted to attack the Mall of America because he believed its owners to be Jewish, the FBI said in a statement. He planned to kill between 30 and 60 people, according to messages he exchanged with a confidential source, according to the complaint.

Mall of America is owned and operated by Triple Five Group, controlled by the Ghermezian family, a Canadian family of Iranian-Jewish origin.

Messages sent in September 2026 included a video in which Mohamud pledged allegiance to ISIS, the complaint said. He planned his attack for October 24 because he expected a crowd at the Hmong Arts Celebration scheduled for that day.

The complaint said an undercover FBI agent sold an AK-47 rendered inoperable, four 30-round magazines and 200 rounds of ammunition to Mohamud for $600 on Oct. 6. During the sale, Mohamud confirmed his plans to commit a mass shooting. Mohamud was arrested shortly after the sale.

The complaint said Mohamud wanted to commit an attack similar to the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting in which 49 victims were killed; the Bondi Beach mass-shooting in Sydney last December, during which 15 victims were killed during a Hanukkah celebration; and a New Orleans truck-ramming attack that killed 14 victims in New Orleans on Jan. 1, 2025.

The investigation into Mohamud began around December 2024, when he messaged the confidential source on multiple social media platforms, according to the complaint, detailing his desire to travel to Somalia to join a group that the US has designated a foreign terrorist organization. If travel was not possible due to financial constraints, he said would move forward with an attack in Minnesota.

Pentagon: Firing Squad for Fort Hood Shooter Will Be Livestreamed
[NewsMax] The Pentagon says the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan
…American-born child of Palestinian immigrants, he trained as a psychiatrist in the American taxpayers’ dime, encouraged by Al Qaeda in Yemen’s Anwar al-Awlaki, his threatening words repeatedly raised concerns about his anti-American approval of jihad that were ignored by his senior officers as career-threatening anti-Moslem prejudice until the day he brought a handgun with a laser sight to work as his unit prepped for their next deployment…
will be livestreamed after War Secretary Pete Hegseth said the execution would be “public.”

Hegseth, speaking to the conservative TV outlet Real America’s Voice News on Wednesday, said the execution of Hasan will take place at Fort Hood on Dec. 3. Hasan was convicted of killing 13 people and injuring 32 others in a shooting at the military base in 2009.

“We’ll make sure that people are able to watch it, that it’s public,” Hegseth said.

Hegseth spoke to the outlet aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier while visiting the long-deployed crew, who supported the Iran war, before their arrival at their home port in San Diego.

When asked if Hasan had made any final requests or reached out to the Trump administration, Hegseth simply replied: “Don’t care. We’ll see him on Dec. 3.”

Officials in the Pentagon clarified Thursday that the execution will be livestreamed and that more details would follow.

Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell had said Monday that President Donald Trump had approved the execution of Hasan.

The White House on Thursday immediately referred questions about the plans for the livestreamed execution to the Pentagon.

However, experts on military law said Hasan could choose to resist execution and file a habeas petition in civilian court, which could significantly delay the execution.

“It frankly might outlast the current administration, and who knows if the next one will have the same penchant for executions,” Eugene R. Fidell, a visiting lecturer at Yale Law School specializing in military law.

Hasan, an Army psychiatrist who held the rank of major, walked into a medical building where soldiers were were waiting in long lines to receive immunizations and medical clearance for deployment. He shouted “Allahu akbar” — Arabic for “God is great!” — and opened fire with a laser-sighted handgun.

During the trial it was revealed that Hasan spent weeks planning the deadly attack, and his preparation included videotaping a sales clerk showing him how to change the magazine on the pistol that he purchased. He would later go to a gun range outside Austin and ask for advice on how to reload with speed and precision from an instructor.

Soldiers later testified that Hasan’s rapid reloading made it all but impossible to stop the shooting. Investigators recovered 146 shell casings inside the building and dozens more outside, where Hasan shot at the backs of soldiers fleeing toward the parking lot.

Hasan said it was an effort to stop them from going to Afghanistan and killing his fellow Muslims. A military judge barred him from presenting that as a defense during his trial. Hasan made almost no effort to defend himself in court, telling jurors when he acted as his own counsel that evidence would show he was the shooter and describing himself as a soldier who had “switched sides.”

Hegseth said the military hasn’t executed a servicemember by firing squad since World War II. The last military execution took place on April 13, 1961, when Army Pvt. John Bennett was executed by hanging.

US Navy commits $150M more to AI-piloted fighter jet as investment hits $400M
From the Fox News liveblog.
[FoxNews] The U.S. Navy has committed an additional $150 million to the development of an artificial intelligence-piloted fighter aircraft designed to take off and land vertically, bringing total public and private investment in the program to $400 million.

Defense technology company Shield AI announced Thursday that the Navy had modified an existing agreement to support development of its X-BAT aircraft, with the company matching the new government funding with $150 million of its own capital.

The investment follows a separate $50 million Navy funding action in August, also matched by Shield AI, bringing combined commitments to $400 million, according to the company's press release.

The X-BAT is designed to conduct military missions without a human pilot, using Shield AI's "Hivemind" software to operate even when GPS signals or communications are limited.

The aircraft is being developed to take off and land vertically from ships, islands and remote locations without relying on traditional runways.

In an October 2025 interview with Fox News Digital, Armor Harris, Shield AI's senior vice president of aircraft engineering, said X-BAT was designed to counter China's strategy of targeting American aircraft on the ground, allowing U.S. forces to launch missions without relying on vulnerable airfields.

"China has built this anti-access aerial denial bubble that holds our runways at risk," Harris said at the time.

In Thursday's announcement, Harris emphasized the company's progress toward flight testing.

"We are testing early and often while working on the aircraft, mission systems, ship suitability and production in parallel," he said.

Shield AI said roughly 500 engineers across the company and its suppliers are working on the program, with flight testing scheduled to begin later this year.

WHAT TO KNOW
  • Three fired OpenAI researchers have raised concerns that increasingly sophisticated AI systems could become harder to monitor, posing potential safety risks as the technology advances, according to The Wall Street Journal.

  • Tech entrepreneur Bryan Johnson, who has spent millions pursuing ways to extend his lifespan, says artificial intelligence could revolutionize medicine but isn't reliable enough to trust with his health.

Turkey accuses Israel of military escalation in southern Syria
[North Press] Türkiye’s Defense Ministry accused on Thursday Israel of pursuing what it described as an “aggressive approach” in the region, citing home raids and arbitrary arrests in residential areas of southern Syria, as well as border violations, airstrikes and artillery fire.

In a statement, the ministry called on the international community to take “concrete and decisive steps” against Israeli military policies and actions that it said were hindering efforts to establish peace and stability in the region.

The ministry also said that the resumption of trench digging and road expansion under what it called the “Sufa-53 Project” amounted to a “blatant violation” of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
The Assad government that signed that no longer exists. The HTS conquerers need to negotiate their own agreement with Israel.
It described the activities as evidence that Israel’s military was continuing its expansionist policies.
