Jubaland regional forces and the Somali National Army are carrying out joint operations in the Dhasheeg-Waamo area of Lower Juba, targeting what officials described as krazed killer bases and logistical hubs used to plan attacks.
According to Jubaland authorities, the operations include both ground assaults and Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s aimed at dismantling hard boy positions. The regional administration also said that weapons and military supplies were seized during the ongoing offensives.
Military commanders said the operations would continue until al-Shabaab fighters are cleared from the remaining areas where they maintain a presence in Jubaland.

Colombian military forces announced on Wednesday they successfully neutralized five members of the militant group responsible for a devastating bus bombing that killed 20 civilians and left 45 others injured.
In a statement from the Military Forces of Colombia, officials said the neutralized suspects were members of the "Estructura Jaime Martínez," an organized armed group.
According to the internet, they’re a group of troublemakers who splintered off FARC.
In addition to planting the explosives in the municipality of Cajibío, authorities claim the group's criminal activities included stealing vehicles along the Pan-American Highway and indiscriminately deploying drones loaded with explosives.
A video shared along with the statement appeared to show body bags laid out in front of a military helicopter and numerous seized weapons.
The military retaliation followed an April 26 terror attack, when an explosive device detonated on a passenger bus traveling along the Pan-American Highway in the volatile Cauca region.
The blast killed 15 women and five men, according to a report from The Associated Press.
While initial local reports said 36 people were injured, including several children, the Colombian military's recent update noted that 45 civilians were wounded in the explosion.

Sounds to me like the French are being total hypocrits putting those guys on trial for a little boat excursion gone wrong on the ocean. If the French wanted to put a stop to such activities then surely they have the means to do so. But they don't. Blaming a couple of entrepeneurs is hypocritical, typical of people like Macron.

The IDF said the attack on soldiers took place at around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, when a first-person view (FPV) drone piloted by Hezbollah went kaboom! next to a tank in the southern Lebanon village of Kfar Tebnit, close to Nabatieh. As a result of shrapnel from the blast, four soldiers were maimed.
