Staff at the Wyoming Boys' School in Worland, a facility where delinquent juveniles were sent by courts, allegedly humiliated and abused teen boys to punish them for bad behavior.
The lawsuit, first submitted in 2024, was filed by three plaintiffs, who are now adults -Blaise Chivers-King, Charles 'Rees' Karn, and Dylan Tolar - against the school, 10 current and former employees, and the Wyoming Department of Families. The defendants denied the allegations in a counter-motion to dismiss.
The men had all been sent to the school after 2018, and accused school staffers of subjecting them to severe abuse and brutal conditions.
In horrific images included in their lawsuit, which has been re-filed with new alleged victims several times, one of the boys was seen crouching in a corner with his head in his hands as he was held in solitary confinement.
In another sickening image, Karn was seen shirtless and strapped by his wrists and ankles to a chair with a mask over his head.
The case has slowly moved through Wyoming courts for years, but in May the defendants issued a shocking rebuke of the boys' allegations - arguing their behavior brought the punishments on themselves.
The response drew a scathing new filing from the men's attorney on Friday, alleging that a school security guard told them during their ordeals: 'The best part of the chair is watching the kids cry and scream like a f***ing child … that’s what makes it worth it.'

[DM] A gunman who opened fire at a Delaware hospital, killing one employee and leaving another injured, has been arrested.
The unidentified 23-year-old man was apprehended in Philadelphia Tuesday night, hours after he allegedly started shooting at ChristianaCare's Wilmington Hospital - about 40 miles away, Wilmington police said. Charges and an extradition to Delaware are pending.
Officers were first called to the scene at around 3.30pm for reports of a shooting.
In scanner audio obtained by NBC Philadelphia, a dispatcher could be heard reporting that two people were shot inside the hospital, one in the neck and one in the upper body, though police have not yet confirmed that information.
A text message sent to staff also reportedly said two employees were shot in the building's basement.
Officers dressed in tactical gear, paramedics, firefighters, the Delaware State police and federal agents then rushed to the scene of the hospital, where employees were seen exiting with their hands up as dozens of vehicles surrounded the building.
Authorities were then able to find the two shooting victims inside the building shortly after 5pm. One of the employees has since succumbed to their injuries, Police Chief Wilfredo Campos said at a news conference.

[FOX] A 21-year-old college student has come forward to claim responsibility for burning a cross in a popular Chicago park last week, but denied he was making a racist statement despite city leaders initially condemning it as an act of hate.
A University of Illinois Chicago senior told NBC 5 Chicago on Monday that he was the person seen leaving the scene at Grant Park last week, where onlookers filmed a cross in flames.
The man explained he was protesting President Donald Trump and had put a red hat on the cross to symbolize the MAGA hat. He said he did not realize that the protest would be viewed as racial.
"I did know about this historical relevance beforehand," the man told NBC 5. "But I didn’t know the severity, how racially motivated it may seem from what I did. 'Cause my protest has nothing to do with race, nothing to do with gender."

The culprit behind a Ku Klux Klan (KKK)-style cross burning in a Chicago park has unmasked himself as a Trump-hating Asian American.
Merlin Lu, 21, of Naperville, claimed he is the one responsible for setting the religious symbol ablaze in Grant Park on June 9.
The stunt took place in the same park where former President Barack Obama delivered his acceptance speech when he was elected the nation's first black president in 2008.

[FOX] That suspicious text about a package, toll bill or account problem may look harmless at first. You glance at it, see a familiar brand name and think, "I'll just check." That quick tap can lead straight into a professional scam funnel.
The FBI, Google and Black Lotus Labs helped disrupt a massive China-based phishing-as-a-service operation known as Outsider Enterprise. Authorities say the operation powered fake websites built to steal credit card numbers, passwords and other personal information.
What makes this one especially troubling is how polished these scams have become. Criminals no longer need to build every fake page from scratch. They can rent phishing kits, use AI to speed up the work and send waves of scam texts to unsuspecting people. That should make every one of us pause before tapping a link in a text.
Outsider Enterprise was a phishing-as-a-service operation. In other words, it gave other criminals the tools to run scams. Instead of one scammer typing out sloppy messages from a laptop, this setup worked more like a criminal software business. It offered phishing kits, fake websites and infrastructure that helped criminals impersonate trusted brands.
Google says the network was tied to more than 9,000 fake websites and over 1 million fraudulent URLs. Those sites were designed to look real enough to trick people into entering credit card details, passwords or other sensitive information.
The scams often started with text messages. Some appeared to come from major wireless carriers, delivery services, toll agencies or other familiar companies. That's what makes these attacks so dangerous. The text may arrive in the same place you get real alerts from banks, delivery services or phone providers.

Documents published by the US Navy this month show plans for $30 million allocated to build warehouses and offices in southeastern Victoria state for “critical forward provisioning,” including “crew served weapons.”
The development of the stockpile, a first for the Marine Corps in Australia, comes as the United States is keen to leverage the continent’s strategic location in the South Pacific to counter China’s rapid military build-up, analysts say.
Acting U.S. Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling sent letters to the governors of 53 U.S. states and territories on Wednesday "demanding immediate action to combat fraud, waste, and abuse within the unemployment insurance program."
"In the letters, the department announced its intent to crack down on rampant fraud and end mismanagement, improper payments, and corruption within the UI program. Acting Secretary Sonderling notified states that, in partnership with the Office of the Inspector General, the department will use every available enforcement tool — including withholding administrative funds from states for the first time in history — to ensure compliance in protecting UI system integrity and safeguarding taxpayer dollars," the department said in a statement first obtained by FOX Business.
"We are officially putting governors on notice," Sonderling said in a statement. "The American people will no longer tolerate the blatant waste, fraud, and abuse of their hard-earned tax dollars — no state should allow it either. If states allow it, they will suffer the consequences. This department is no longer afraid to use every lever available to ensure taxpayer money is protected."

[DM] FBI Director Kash Patel came under fire from the Secret Service on Tuesday after he revealed details of a plot against President Donald Trump's UFC Freedom 250 event.
The controversy came after Patel publicly revealed an alleged plot to use armed drones to attack the high-profile mixed martial arts spectacle held on the White House South Lawn.
But Patel made the comments before investigators had finished making arrests.
According to multiple reports, Patel's announcement caught some of the very investigators working the case off guard.
MSNOW reported that Secret Service officials were furious because the criminal case remained sealed and several suspects had not yet been arrested when Patel disclosed details of the investigation.
According to the network, Secret Service and FBI officials had been coordinating plans to unseal the case later in the day, make additional arrests and issue a joint public statement. But instead, Patel posted first.
Officials said the group planned to target multiple high-profile officials through a coordinated ambush.
According to court documents, the suspects allegedly intended to launch explosive-laden drones over the UFC arena and detonate them above the crowd, forcing panicked attendees and "high-value targets" (HVTs) to flee to a "southern evacuation point"
In what effectively served as a pre-designated kill zone, authorities say the evacuation area was covered by five separate sniper teams positioned to ambush fleeing officials and security personnel.
According to charging documents, the snipers were instructed to "initiate their part of the plan eliminating HVTs first then the retaliatory forces such as SS [Secret Service], NG [National Guard], and swat."
Investigators allege that Alvarez, whom prosecutors identified as the online ringleader, listed intended targets in an encrypted group chat using coded references, including "1" for Trump, "2" for Vice President JD Vance, "N" for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and "Musk" for Elon Musk.
The documents further allege that one of the members, Proper, had compiled a target list containing 46 individuals.
