According to the BBC, Suleiman attended the Old Bailey hearing on Friday via video link from Belmarsh Prison, confirmed his name and date of birth and sat with his arms folded. He was not asked to enter pleas to any of the four charges he faces.
It seems fair after a bunch of people were refused permission to enter for the Unite the Kingdom march.

The man, who is accompanied by a group of others in the neighborhood of Tower Hamlets, yelled several anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian slogans before saying, “The Jews, you’re going to get beheaded one by one, you dirty Jews.”
The group was talking into a camera near a mosque on Whitechapel Road, and didn’t appear to be harassing a specific group of Jewish people in their area. Another man in the crowd appeared to try to get the man to stop speaking. It was unclear if they were known to one another.

The innocent victims include people hit by stray bullets, cases of a mistaken identity by the shooter and relatives of targeted gang members, according to police statistics.
Twenty-three innocent bystanders have been killed and 30 wounded in gangland shootings in Sweden in the past three years, according to statistics released on Monday that highlighted its battle to rein in violent crime.
The country has struggled for more than a decade to contain gang violence linked primarily to score-settling and battles to control the drug market.
The innocent victims include people hit by stray bullets, cases of a mistaken identity by the shooter and relatives of targeted gang members, according to police statistics.
Alexander Wallenius, operations coordinator at the Swedish police's department of national operations, told news agency TT that one reason for the number of bystanders injured was that many of the shooters were young.
There wasn't a single word about deportations, and it is remarkably difficult to find anything about them.

The Swedish have some related legislative changes to take effect on 1 September 2026.
The changes will require criminal deportations. Those who come to Sweden and commit serious, physical or disruptive crimes will have forfeited any Swedish hospitality and will be deported.
But!! Will their courts follow the new laws and apply it?

[IsraelTimes] The Jewish community was the most targeted group for hate crimes in Toronto in 2025, according to a report presented yesterday to the Toronto Police Services Board.
The annual hate crime statistical report found that Jews, who make up less than 3 percent of Toronto’s population, were the targets of 82% of all religiously motivated hate crimes and 35% of all reported hate incidents in the city.
Police recorded 81 anti-Jewish hate crime occurrences, and officials said a Jewish resident was now 14 times more likely to experience a hate incident than other Toronto residents.
The report comes amid what Jewish organizations describe as a sharp rise in antisemitic violence across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Since February, synagogues have been targeted with gunfire, Jewish-owned businesses vandalized and shot at, and visibly Jewish individuals assaulted in public.
Toronto police also reported a 24% increase in hate crimes compared with the same period last year.
Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs Vice President Michelle Stock calls the findings “deeply alarming.”
“Jewish Canadians are being targeted simply for who they are,” Stock says, urging governments, police and civic leaders to take coordinated action against antisemitism, extremism and hate-motivated violence.
[IsraelTimes] The Republican-led US House of Representatives narrowly defeats a Democratic-led resolution aiming to stop the Iran war until hostilities are authorized by Congress, but the effort to rein in Republican US President Donald Trump’s military campaign fails by the closest possible margin.
The House votes 212 to 212 on the war powers resolution, meaning it fails by one vote because it needed a simple majority to pass.
It is the third House vote this year on an Iran war powers resolution, and the first since the conflict hit a 60-day deadline on May 1 for Trump to come to Congress about the war. Trump declared then that a ceasefire had “terminated” hostilities against Iran.
The votes have been getting tighter, with Trump’s fellow Republicans holding just a slim majority. The last war powers resolution failed on April 16 by a vote of 213-214, with one member voting “present.”
The votes have also have been getting tighter in the Senate, where a war powers resolution was blocked by 50-49 on Wednesday as three Republicans joined every Democrat except one in voting to advance the measure.

Seven civilian vehicles were attacked in Lebanon this week. Three of them were struck by drones approximately 20-25 kilometers south of Beirut, in the Jiya and Saadiyat neighborhoods. Another was in the city of Saida, 40 kilometers south of the capital. Three more were in Tyre, the largest city in the south of the country. If only the cars hadn’t been driving Hezbollah turbans were they should not have been, the IDF would not have needed to kill them.
In Jiya, both cars were attacked on the highway. One of them was hit by two rockets at once and attempted to pull over. The second rocket's blast damaged several stores from shrapnel and the blast wave. Employees were attempting to extinguish the blazing car; used fire extinguishers and drinking water containers were scattered on the pavement.
There were four people in the car, and a large printer was in the trunk. Experts examined it in front of the press. There were definitely no weapons.
A few minutes later, an explosion occurred on a road leading from the same highway into the mountains. As in the previous incident, four people were killed. Three of them were a family with a small child, refugees from the south.
The village of Saadiyat, where this tragedy occurred, was traditionally considered a safe place—until an apartment in a residential complex was attacked in the middle of the night in early March. This was followed by attacks on cars driving along the highway near the village. And now—yet another attack on a car in this small, quiet town.
Anywhere Hezbollah hangs out is not safe.
Last week, two more vehicles were struck by drone fire in the same area, also killing people. Several days earlier, a minibus carrying humanitarian aid was also targeted in the same area. The area, which had been relatively calm, has now seen dozens of civilian deaths.
And hundreds are in places where local residents are actively trying to leave. One such place is the city of Tyre, located 80 kilometers south of Beirut and approximately 20 kilometers from the border with Israel.
Tyre is one of the oldest cities on the planet, and its archaeological sites are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During peacetime, these sites are visited by numerous tourists from various countries, as well as by Lebanese themselves. But now, there are no tourists, and those who live here are trying to leave.
Despite the fact that Tyre's population is actively migrating to safer areas of the country, the city cannot be called deserted: it has been filled with people displaced from even more disadvantaged areas, primarily from villages. Entire villages in the border areas are being destroyed. They are being blown up, bombed, and bulldozed. People have nowhere to return.
Drive out Hezbollah, and the problem will disappear like the morning mists.
Overall, even in dangerous Tyre, things aren't as bad as in the far south—hence the migration. During the previous escalation, in the fall of 2024, this city and its residential areas were repeatedly bombed. The bombings took place in close proximity to archaeological sites, destroying the embankment and displacing thousands of people. The destruction of neighborhoods continues.
And although the temporary ceasefire is in fact very relative (the Lebanese report over 2,500 Israeli attacks between April 17 and today), reaching Tyre is possible without significant risk. Meanwhile, in the fall of 2024, every minute spent en route to that city could be your last.
Cars were practically nonexistent on the roads leading into the city at the time: any of them could become the target of another attack, as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson's Office had repeatedly warned. Lebanese army checkpoints near the Litani River were deserted. And indeed, the city was almost completely deserted.
Traffic towards Tyre today certainly cannot be called intense, but the situation is not like the previous days, when the city was bombed quite actively.
Many people continue to travel in and out of Tyre. Some have come to pick up essential items and furniture. Others are simply inspecting the condition of homes abandoned for long periods. Food and other goods are being delivered to the city. Road crews in the town of Kasmiya were able to build a temporary bridge over the river to replace the one blown up, thereby making the southern districts accessible.
Back in 2006, this bridge was restored by personnel from the Russian Ministry of Defense's special bridge brigade, as commemorated by a memorial sign. Now, following Israeli airstrikes, this sign no longer exists.

Together with friends living in Tyre, the author of this article visited more than a dozen bombed neighborhoods. In some of them, not just individual buildings, but entire neighborhoods were destroyed. After the rubble is cleared, the infrastructure will have to be rebuilt from scratch.
And Hezbollah is down about a billion dollars since the IDF bombed their Dahiyeh HQ into burning rubble, melting stored gold into rivulets that poetically sank to the bottom of the foundation underneath.
According to local residents, the destroyed buildings were unlikely to have been Hezbollah targets or part of military infrastructure. The rubble included clothing, toys, books, furniture, and household items. Similar scenes were seen in Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, and other parts of Lebanon.
Of course. And among the civilian flotsam and jetsam is the remains of the war matériel Hezbollah paid residents good money to store for them against future need. Rare was the house, school, or mosque in Southern Lebanon that lacked its bundle of rockets or missiles, launchers, or cached small arms and ammunition. All that cooking off has given the viewers spectacular fireworks shows since shortly after 10/7/2023.
You can still leave the shooting range by regular minibus—albeit one that has doubled in price. Black smoke is visible along the way. The local news reported the deaths of 13 people in a house located near the highway.
And there are dozens of such stories to be found in Lebanon now.

BREAKING: At the request of Turkey, Russia has started rebuilding the armed forces of Syria now under rule of Ahmad Al-Sharaa. The first two newly delivered MiG-29 fighter interceptors of the Syrian Air Force under control of Syrian pilots flew from Hmymim Air Base today.
The aircraft are currently being protected by Russian forces from the threat of Israeli airstrikes.
