There might be some single cell and Funguslike life on some other planet, but even then, until I see it actually, I chose to believe Earth is the only planet with life of anykind on it.
A hundred years from now we will still "be close to finding extraterrestrial life". This is one of those Forever projects.
Think about it. There is life everywhere on Earth, no matter how "hostile" the environment (to us, at least). I cannot believe a God who creates life at every level on Earth would waste all that additional real estate He created in "the Heavens". I'm SURE there's life out there. What I'm not sure of is what it might look like, and how intelligent it might be. Still, I believe that God is not wasteful.
