[FoxNews] The Chihuahua state attorney general has indicated that foreign agents were not involved in the operation.
In a statement issued Sunday, César Jáuregui Moreno, the Chihuahua state attorney general, announced the deaths "of the members of the State Investigation Agency, as well as two instructor officers from the United States Embassy, who died in an accident while returning from the operation to destroy clandestine laboratories in the municipality of Morelos," according to an English translation.
The attorney general indicated in another statement that there were no foreign agents involved in the operation and that it was not connected to the accident.
"In order to avoid speculation and misunderstandings surrounding the operation that led to the discovery of a drug lab in the community of El Pinal, in the Sierra de Chihuahua, the Attorney General of the State, César Jáuregui Moreno, specified that only elements of the State Investigation Agency (AEI) and the Mexican Army participated in it," the April 20 statement said, according to an English translation.
"With the above, he rules out the intervention of foreign elements, however, he specified that instructors from the United States were in the state and in a neighboring community, but for other purposes, such as teaching in the handling of drones," the office said. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said she is demanding answers, arguing her administration was not properly informed of any collaboration tied to the operation. She emphasized that Mexico does not allow joint U.S.-Mexican military operations, stating cooperation is limited to intelligence sharing within established legal frameworks.
Local officials said the Americans were in the area for training activities and later met with Mexican investigators involved in the raid before the fatal crash.

It is worth remembering that a peace treaty between our countries has never been signed. This is an open question that has lingered since 1945. Now comes their second, and far more significant one. Under the new contract, Sakana AI will develop a system that integrates data streams from multiple domains—land, sea, air, including drone data—and uses them to accelerate tactical decision-making at the command level. A key feature of their approach is that it operates directly on edge devices: drones and field terminals, without access to the cloud. To achieve this, they are developing compact visual-linguistic models optimized for field conditions.
A parallel is in order here. The American company Palantir is solving a similar problem—combining data streams from land, sea, and air and providing a ready-made solution to the commander. But it does this through the centralized Gotham platform: all data flows into a single hub, where it is processed and analyzed.
Sakana AI takes a different approach: instead of a single command center, it uses an ensemble of small, specialized models that "consult" with each other in a decentralized manner, like a school of fish (hence, incidentally, the name—sakana means "fish" in Japanese). The key difference is not Palantir's lack of models, but their location: with Sakana AI, all processing occurs directly onboard a drone or in the hands of a soldier, without access to the cloud.
Palantir is also not averse to the Japanese market. In January 2026, Japanese Defense Minister Koizumi personally visited Palantir's headquarters in Washington. Israel has said it will end all weapons imports from La Belle France after diplomatic differences over Gay Paree’s September recognition of the State of Paleostine.
Thomas Nayla, who coordinated the complaint against FedEx, called for a "total embargo" on the delivery of military components from the French side.
Rights groups in various countries have taken action aimed at halting the delivery of F-35 parts or weapons to Israel. The Netherlands in 2024 banned the delivery of F-35 parts to Israel, while Britannia’s High Court in 2025 rejected a similar attempt to stop supplies, though London has suspended other weapons export licenses to Israel.
Since an October 10 ceasefire, both the Israeli military and Hamas have accused one another of breaching the truce, which followed two years of war triggered when the Paleostinian terror group led an invasion of southern Israel on October 7, 2023, that killed 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and saw 251 hostages kidnapped to Gaza.

US Treasury chief doubles down on economic blockade of Iran

Cargo is loaded through a large rear ramp capable of handling nearly all US Army transportable equipment, including 69-ton M1 Abrams battle tanks, armored vehicles, trucks and trailers.
Inside, the cargo floor can be quickly reconfigured, switching from a flat surface for vehicles to roller systems designed to move palletized cargo. The aircraft is also capable of deploying up to 102 paratroopers along with their equipment during airborne operations.
The parade of jets comes as Trump claimed he's poised to resume bombing if Tehran refuses to come to the table, he told CNBC Tuesday morning.
Earlier this month, the President threatened military action against Iran as part of his ultimatum over the Strait of Hormuz, but he then backed off and agreed to a two-week ceasefire instead.
Tehran has not made it clear whether its representatives will attend a peace summit in Islamabad, Pakistan, before the ceasefire expires at 8pm ET on Wednesday.
Senior White House officials plan to hold meetings today alongside Vice President JD Vance to determine a path forward, according to CNN.
Trump had previously said Vance was expected to depart Washington for Pakistan on Tuesday morning.
Those plans were scrapped at the last minute as uncertainty grew over whether Iran would participate.
'We don't have much time [to get a deal] ... Iran can make themselves into a strong nation again if they make a deal,' Trump said.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] President Donald Trump threatened to 'blow up the rest of Iran and its leaders' as he warned that he would not reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
The US president announced hours earlier that he was indefinitely extending the ceasefire with Iran.
The announcement came just one day before the ceasefire was set to expire as questions remained about whether there would be a second round of peace talks.
But in an inflammatory post on his Truth Social page Tuesday night, the president denied that he would reopen the vital Strait of Hormuz, through which one-fifth of the world's oil supply traverses.
'Iran doesn't want the Strait of Hormuz closed, they want it open so they can make $500 Million Dollars a day (which is, therefore, what they are losing if it is closed!),' Trump wrote.
'They only say they want it closed because I have it totally BLOCKADED (CLOSED!), so they merely want to 'save face,'' he argued.
'People approached me four days ago, saying, 'Sir, Iran wants to open up the Strait, immediately,'' the president continued.
'But if we do that, there can never be a Deal with Iran, unless we blow up the rest of their Country, their leaders included!'
The White House had been planning to send Vice President JD Vance to Pakistan to negotiate an end to the war with Iranian officials, but the administration put the trip on hold amid Iran's rebuffed efforts to restart negotiations.
Iran has not yet responded to Trump's announcement of the ceasefire extension. Both countries have warned that, without a deal, they were prepared to resume fighting.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei, for example, told Iran´s state TV there has been 'no final decision' on whether to agree to more talks because of 'unacceptable actions' by the US - apparently referring to the blockade of Iranian ports.
Ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani also said ending the blockade remains a condition for Iran to rejoin peace talks. When that happens, he said, 'I think the next round of the negotiations will take place.'
But in a Truth Social post announcing the ceasefire extension, Trump vowed that the US would continue the blockade.
At the same time, Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner were expected in Washington on Tuesday afternoon for consultations about how best to proceed, according to a US official who spoke on the condition of anonymity with the Associated Press.
The official cautioned that Trump could change his mind on negotiating with Iran at any time, and declined to predict what would happen. The official said Trump has options short of restarting airstrikes.

Well, I always wanted a President to be more conscious with his works in regards to the markets. I take that as a good thing.
That all said - Trump will not out crazy the Iranians. And if he wants regime change, people that have no lights nor, and cant cook and are hungry - I do not think they will be the leaders or participants of a popular uprising.
How do they march on the cities if the bridges are all blown up and they cant get drinking water?

A not unpossible possibility. The ceasefire gives the Iranians some time to figure out who is running the country - the army, the government, the IRGC, or some coalition. The IRGC is still in the mood for fighting, so do not expect them to go quietly.
Given that the IRGC is the murderous crazies with guns faction, there is a good chance they will be playing the Iranian side in the next round. After they get attrited, army + govt will have a better opportunity for coalition building and deal-making.
After having demonstrated that his threat to blow up stuff and kill people was real, the ceasefire is a signal that Trump is willing to play nice with whoever ends up as 'Iran'. Remember what the goal is: No nukes and no enrichment. Regime change is just gravy on top and *not* a requirement.
Vital not because some Iranian nukes are intended for Israel, but because as the final attack after 47 years of murdering Americans some Iranian nukes are intended for the continental United States.
