[IsraelTimes] A London-based Persian language channel says it has been forced to suspend live broadcasts after UK counterterror police alerted its landlord to a potential threat from Tehran.

La Belle France’s anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office announced the arrest of two individuals accused of planning an attack and promoting jihadist propaganda. Rooters reported on Saturday that a planned assault in northern La Belle France had been foiled.
The suspects were allegedly preparing to target either a shopping mall or a concert venue, according to prosecutors. Authorities intervened before the plan could be carried out.
Prosecutors said one of the detainees is a 16-year-old teenager who had been seeking and sharing jihadist propaganda. The identities of the two suspects have not been disclosed.
Investigations are ongoing as security officials assess the scope of the plot and examine potential links to krazed killer networks.

Four Israeli citizens were arrested in recent weeks on suspicion of planning a shooting attack on soldiers in the northern city of Karmiel, police and Shin Bet said Monday.
The four defendants, all residents of northern Israel, include 19-year-old Ahmad Sarhan, 18-year-old Muhammad Khalil and two minors, the statement said, adding that all four were set to be indicted.

In July 2024, an Israeli citizen from the northern Arab town of Nahf killed an off-duty soldier and maimed another person in a stabbing rampage in Karmiel. The soldier, 19-year-old Sgt. Aleksandr Iakiminskyi managed to shoot the attacker dead before succumbing to his own wounds.
Nahf’s mayor Muhammad Zuri condemned the attack at the time, stressing his town has long maintained good relations with neighboring Jewish communities.

[IsraelTimes] The military says a Palestinian terror operative who crossed the Gaza ceasefire line in the Strip’s south yesterday was killed by troops.
According to the IDF, the terror operative crossed the Yellow Line and approached soldiers of the 188th Armored Brigade “in a manner that posed an immediate threat.”
The troops then “eliminated the terrorist in order to remove the threat,” the army says.
Since the start of the ceasefire in October, the IDF has said it has killed dozens of terror operatives and other “suspects” who have crossed the Yellow Line — demarcating the military’s withdrawal in the Strip — and approached troops. Such incidents have taken place on a near-daily basis.
[IsraelTimes] A kilometer-long Hamas tunnel in southern Gaza’s Rafah was recently demolished by combat engineers, the military says.
According to the IDF, the tunnel featured several rooms where Hamas operatives would hide out. Inside, the army says troops found several weapons.
The tunnel was found on the Israeli side of the Gaza ceasefire line, in an area of Rafah where dozens of Hamas operatives were holed up underground, during mop-up operations of the 7th Armored Brigade. It was then razed by the elite Yahalom combat engineering unit.
In addition, the military says the forces demolished one of the tunnel shafts used by Hamas operatives in a deadly attack on troops on October 28, 2025, during which Master Sgt. (res.) Yona Efraim Feldbaum was killed.
The 7th Brigade has now been withdrawn from the Rafah area after three months of operations, and it has been replaced by other forces.

Inside Iran, at least eight new anti-regime protests erupted at universities in recent days, some of which have seen clashes with the Basij militia or students aligned with it.
They were the first large-scale demonstrations since the mass killing of anti-government protesters in January, mostly over January 8-9. Some 7,000 deaths have been confirmed, but estimates of the total number of those killed reach into the tens of thousands.
The new protests started when universities reopened on Saturday, after all in-person classes had been suspended January 4, with the regime officially citing cold weather as the reason, amid the unrest.
The BBC on Monday confirmed demonstrations at eight universities in Tehran since Saturday, as well as others in Isfahan and Mashhad.
In footage from a women’s university in the capital, students were seen burning the regime’s flag. Other campuses saw chants of “woman, life, freedom” – the slogan of a protest movement in 2022 that the regime repressed – and “long live the shah,” a reference to Reza Pahlavi, whose father was deposed in 1979.

Video from the Amirkabir University of Technology in the capital showed clashes between the protesters and members of the Basij paramilitary force. Another video, from the University of Tehran, showed Basij members trying to enter a building in which demonstrators were taking refuge.

"This marks the second attack on the Internal Security Forces in the area, after the checkpoint was targeted yesterday in another terrorist assault that resulted in the neutralization of one of the attacking murderous Moslems, in an attempt to destabilize the region," read a statement from the ministry.
ISIS has not grabbed credit for Monday’s attack.
The ministry also released footage purporting to show the moment local security forces attempted to thwart the attack, as well as the deployment of additional forces to restore stability.
"Internal Security units continue combing and pursuit operations in the surrounding area to track down and arrest those who fled," it said.
Raqqa, which was under the control of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) until last month, has seen ISIS activities for years. It used to be one of its strongholds before the group was territorially defeated by the SDF and the US-led global coalition.
