[JustTheNews via Bongino] House Majority Whip Tom Emmer told Just the News on Tuesday that Minnesota state employees are providing evidence that could lead to the federal prosecution of Gov. Tim Walz, offering sworn whistleblower testimony confirming the Democratic governor failed to act after they warned about massive taxpayer fraud involving the state's Somali immigrant population.
"That my friend should be enough for criminal charges. The man should be in cuffs," Emmer said during a wide-ranging interview on the John Solomon Reports podcast.
Caveat: Emmer is well to the left of RINO. This is a case of "If you think they may come for you, pick up a pitchfork and lead the mob."

Can we have the house cleaning that should have happened after Butler? Harmeet can’t be the only person who can clean house. Can we install Sheriff Grady to lead them? The press conferences would at least be better.

That entire fetid city is infested with this type of low life. All simply dying to tell every third person they ever met just how very in-the-know they are, how very important.

[RedState] Things have been tense between President Trump and Fed Chair Jerome Powell for some time now, and it looks like that tension isn't going away any time soon. On Monday, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro took to her official X account to claim that the current Justice Department inquiry into the Federal Reserve and its Chair, Jerome Powell, didn't have to happen, and wouldn't have, had only the Fed "...responded to our outreach."
The post continues:
The word "indictment" has come out of Mr. Powell’s mouth, no one else’s. None of this would have happened if they had just responded to our outreach.
This office makes decisions based on the merits, nothing more and nothing less. We agree with the chairman of the Federal Reserve that no one is above the law, and that is why we expect his full cooperation.
That's the way these things should work, of course; the Department of Justice, while under the direction of the executive branch, by necessity maintains a certain level of autonomy.
As far as the origins of this imbroglio, a story on Tuesday at The Hill has some details:
Tomorrow - I am offering an amendment to appropriations to zero out the staff/office budgets of Judges Boasberg & Boardman as well as 20% of the budget for the DC Courts responsible for the lawfare against Americans, @realDonaldTrump, & his staff. We should not fund it!

Congress can simply abolish the DC federal district courts and render Boasberg unemployed, just as it did in 1863. But as we all know, Congress will do nothing as long as it can get away with it.

If DOGE or the FBI — or even some random citizen with a cell phone — happens across the information in the meantime, though….
