called a press conference in which he threatened civil war. It was one of the most extraordinary performances by an American political leader since the Confederates seceded in 1861. Walz said that he had put the Minnesota National Guard on official notice of potential deployment. Deployment to do what? To fight ICE, federal law enforcement:
We have never seen anything like it, not just in Minnesota but anywhere in America, since the Civil War: a governor threatening to call out the National Guard to forcibly resist federal authority and prevent the enforcement of our national laws. George Wallace didn’t do that. Ross Barnett didn’t do that.
Walz can’t seriously think that the Minnesota National Guard can militarily resist federal authority. Federal forces are by no means limited to ICE: President Trump has clear legal authority to call out, for example, the 82nd Airborne to restore order in Minneapolis, if that is what it takes.
Is that seriously what Walz wants? A battle between the Minnesota National Guard and the U.S. Army? I think the military leaders of the Guard would refuse to obey any obviously illegal order that Walz might give them, such as an order to combat ICE.
It is a sad day for Minnesota when our governor can legitimately be compared with Jefferson Davis. At this writing, rioters are taking over the City of Minneapolis. It is an insurrection that, incredibly, is being sponsored by many of Minnesota’s political leaders. Let’s hope it doesn’t take the U.S. Army to restore order.

To be a fly on the wall to see Walz's face when all of the rank & file National Guard (as well as virtually all of the police) refuse to obey his order to oppose the Federal government.
I have no doubt either Delta or various Federal SWAT equivalent teams are busy making contingency plans to take Walz into custody.

Well, Jefferson Davis was a Democrat and so is Tampon Tim. But, hey, if Trump can arrest Maduro then he just might arrest Walz too. That'd be fun to watch.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are facing contempt of Congress charges if they don’t appear before a House committee next week to testify in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
The couple was originally scheduled to testify before the House Oversight Committee in December but those appearances were moved to January 13 for him and the 14th for her at the request of the couple, who cited a conflict.
But now they haven’t confirmed they will be there next week. And Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the chairman of the panel, said he’ll slap them with contempt if they don’t show.
Which means what, in practical terms? Because they can’t be made to feel ashamed.
“The Clintons have not confirmed their appearances for their subpoenaed depositions,” a spokesperson for the committee told the New York Post. “They are obligated under the law to appear and we expect them to do so. If the Clintons do not appear for their depositions, the House Oversight Committee will initiate contempt of Congress proceedings.”
If the couple is found guilty of contempt, Congress can send US Capitol Police to arrest them and bring them before lawmakers.
Ok. That would be very interesting to see.
Bill Clinton has denied ever visiting Epstein’s infamous island and has said he regrets his friendship with the pedophile.
But photos of the former president hanging out with Epstein were revealed last month when the Justice Department released new documents in the case. In one, Clinton is nearly naked in a hot tub with an unidentified woman.
A spokesperson for the Clintons didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

I am fine with the useless show as long as all the other repeat island visitors get a subpoena as well. Let’s see them all come in and who is willing to talk. Claiming the 5th on camera ends a celebrity. If this is only for the Clintons, it does nothing. It is impossible to publicly shame a Clinton. That’s like stripping a prn star naked. There is no effect.

The only important value most of the Republicans in Congress have is in keeping the dems out of the majority in either house. Any dem legislative power will short circuit the advancing Trump wave of financial disconnections the dem/swamp are suffering as he castrates the NGO, UN, illegal immigrant fraud, dark-money, billionaire-RICO money structures that have fed the vast array of domestic political destruction.
That is the key to saving what is left of the American Experiment for our children and grandchildren. A destitute dem opposition will take years to reassemble the levels of power that gave us the Biden farce and a 40 trillion dollar national fleecing!
