After a day of hearings this week, featuring several Minnesota politicos who testified about sketchy goings-on in the state, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FLA) launched criminal referrals against Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and MN Attorney General Keith Ellison. That’s apart from whatever the DOJ has already been working on, and it is probably the beginning of a nation-wide web of prosecutions moving toward the midterm election that will drag in many other big dawgs of the party, including 2028 front-runner Gavin Newsom. The suicide of the Democratic Party has gone live, Donald Trump assisting.

A spokeswoman for Mexico’s ruling party, MORENA, sparked considerable controversy after publicly claiming that fighting organized crime is not doable because cartels are one of the country’s largest employers. In response to the outrage sparked by the comment, the MORENA party issued a statement distancing itself from it and claiming that political opponents were taking it out of context to attack them.
The controversy began this week, when Adriana Marin, the head of communications for the MORENA party’s Parliamentary Group in Mexico City’s Congress, went to a debate on a local show. During the debate, one of the individuals called for the Narco Pact to end, referring to the government’s protection of criminal organizations in Mexico.
In her response, Marin said, “The drug trade is one of the largest employers at the national level,” Marin said. “They recruit 160,000 to 180,000 persons, and in reality, you need 350 people a week to cover those who are arrested or murdered.”
In response to her comment, one individual asked whether organized crime should remain untouched in Mexico.
Marin claimed that the issue was complex because drug cartels “received help from the United States” and generated employment for thousands whom private entities and the government had not been able to employ.
“What are you going to do with those people?” she asked. “What are you going to do with the people who were promised money and fame? They have no hope, because the state has made it so they have no hope.”
In her defense of criminal organizations, the MORENA party member made no mention of the hundreds of thousands of victims that have been extorted, kidnapped, murdered, or have had their loved ones taken by drug cartels — some of which have been labelled as foreign terrorist organizations by the United States government.
Other individuals in the show quickly condemned Marin’s comments, calling them sad and reprehensible.
Soon after the show was streamed, Marin’s comments went viral in Mexico, with critics using her words as a confession of sorts to numerous allegations and prior cases of MORENA party individuals having protected or worked with criminal organizations. The MORENA party issued a statement trying to distance itself from Marin’s comments, claiming that she had spoken in her capacity as an individual and not on behalf of the party. The statement also claimed that political opponents were using the video of the comments to spread hate and attack Marin and the party.
As Breitbart Texas has reported extensively, key figures within the MORENA party used money from cartel-connected fuel smuggling organizations to fund their campaigns. Additionally, the governor of Tamaulipas, Americo Villarreal, had members of the Gulf Cartel pressure locals to vote for him during his electoral campaign. Similar cases have been reported in other states like Sinaloa, Zacatecas, and Michoacán.

China Publicly Humiliated Now it’s Rapidly Failing on Every Front - Episode #297
[City Journal] Many believe that this year’s midterm elections will hang on the economy, and most available evidence suggests that the economic picture is mixed. Positive signs, however, might change political calculations before the vote.
Present circumstances leave room for both hope and doubt. Job numbers keep expanding but at a less than compelling pace. Real incomes have grown over the last 12 months but not quickly enough to dispel anxieties. Inflation, though slowing, remains above the 2 percent annual target preferred by the Federal Reserve, and nothing suggests that living costs will moderate enough to relieve the burdens imposed by the 2022 inflation surge. The jury remains out on the ultimate economic effects of the Trump administration’s tariffs and deregulation.
However, two encouraging, if less well-known, signals have emerged. New business formation has surged over the last 12 months, as have business investments in new technologies and equipment. Both point to future hiring and income growth. If this news doesn’t banish all ambiguity, it does indicate something substantively positive about the economic outlook and points to surprising confidence within the business community, despite otherwise disruptive policies coming out of Washington.
The Department of Commerce recently reported that about 535,000 new business applications were filed last November, the most recent period for which data are available. That number is up a striking 7.1 percent from October’s figure and over 30 percent ahead of the pace of business formation a year ago. What’s even more compelling is how suddenly the growth took off this year, after three years of near stagnation. New business formation had hit records in 2021 as the economy recovered from the Covid pandemic. Clearly, entrepreneurs saw opportunities in the bankruptcies imposed by the 2020 lockdowns and quarantines. But as 2021 wore on, the pace of new business formation slowed again and held to that reduced pace through 2024. This year’s surge has recovered the 2021 records.
[News With Views] As Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents executed Operation Guardian — the most comprehensive immigration enforcement action in United States history — the mission was met with calculated resistance. The resulting fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good is a direct consequence of a culture of obstruction that prioritizes political activism over the safety of those sworn to uphold the rule of law.
Federal authorities have officially designated this incident as an act of domestic terrorism. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) maintains that Good’s actions were not those of a passive bystander, but rather a deliberate attempt to use a vehicle as a weapon against federal officers. In a residential area already congested by heavy snowfall, Good positioned her maroon Honda Pilot to block federal transport vans, effectively trapping agents and preventing them from completing a lawful arrest operation.
When agents approached the vehicle to clear the roadway and ensure the safety of the perimeter, they encountered a driver who refused to comply with repeated, lawful commands to exit the car. Instead of submitting to authority, Good accelerated the vehicle. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed that Good weaponized her vehicle, driving directly toward an officer who had no choice but to use his firearm to stop the immediate threat. This officer, identified by federal sources as a veteran member of the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Special Response Team, acted according to the highest standards of federal use-of-force training.

The blame for this event must rest with local politics that prevented Minneapolis police from partnering with the Feds. ICE should NOT be involved in policing public gatherings, traffic, and roadways. This is clearly a politically motivated breakdown of law enforcement at the local level.

The video is from the ICE agent's body cam and it shows the incident in much greater detail than the crude, blurred phone video that MSM has been featuring.
Renee's face is shown looking directly into the camera as she aims her SUV at the ICE agent. It looks as though she had a sudden impulse and she was unable to resist it.
Also shown in great detail if you can go frame by frame is the look on the wife's face when she tries to get into the passenger side but Renee starts backing up as she does so. The wife clearly did not expect what was happening.
Another interesting note is that the vehicle licence plates are from Missouri. From that, one might speculate that these women drove from somewhere in Missouri to Minneapolis to participate in the protest. It's reasonable to suspect they were getting paid for it.
They went looking for trouble and they found it. Trouble isn't hard to find if you're looking for it but be advised, you might end up like Renee.

[Federalist] After an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent shot and killed a female who drove her vehicle into him on Wednesday, anti-ICE sentiment has risen to a fever pitch, fueled by the legacy media and Democrat politicians. They have argued, essentially, that the shooting means America can no longer enforce its immigration laws. What the incident actually highlights is the need for a just and decisive crackdown on anti-ICE obstruction, a crackdown that parallels the Jan. 6 manhunt, not in its corrupt politicization, but in its scale and effectiveness.
The incident in Minneapolis marks nearly one year of the deportations Trump promised during his campaign. Despite a relentless legacy media air war on the removals, they maintain broad U.S. support, with 31 percent saying all illegal immigrants should be deported and 51 percent stating some should be deported. But even as the Trump administration ramped up deportation efforts, so did the sheer number of bad actors assaulting, impeding, harassing, and blocking ICE agents. The more serious attacks garnered the headlines: Antifa members allegedly launched an attack on an ICE facility; in Dallas an anti-ICE gunman opened fire on a law enforcement vehicle, killing two and injuring a third; the Department of Homeland Security reported roughly 100 vehicular attacks on agents in 2025.

There is a limited number of folks funding it. I would like to see a RICO case rather than only rounding up the Karens. Round up the Karen’s as well though. Put them in the same cell block where they can impose regulations and enforce covenants on each other.
