[GatewayPundit] President Donald Trump has shared a video questioning whether Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was involved in ordering the assassination of State Representative Melissa Hortman to cover up the Somali fraud scheme.
The post, which Trump shared on his Truth Social platform, suggests Hortman’s murder may have been tied to her efforts to expose a multi-billion-dollar money laundering operation funneling funds to illegal immigrants, particularly Somalis, through corrupt government rackets in childcare and healthcare.
Last summer, Hortman and her husband, Mark Hortman, were gunned down in their home by a man posing as a police officer. Democrat State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette Hoffman, were also targeted in a separate incident at their residence on the same night. Miraculously, the Hoffmans survived.
Vance Boelter, a 57-year-old man who was later arrested for the shootings and indicted on six federal charges, including stalking and murder.
According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Minnesota, Boelter conducted “extensive research and planning” before embarking on a “murderous rampage targeting Minnesota’s elected officials and their families.”
It was soon revealed that Boelter was appointed to the Governor’s Workforce Development Board by Walz, and in his confession, he claimed he was ordered to do the assassinations by the governor himself.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., will receive a formal censure letter and that he has directed Secretary of the Navy John Phelan to review the retired Navy captain's retirement rank and pay and provide a recommendation in 45 days, sharply escalating an investigation alleging he made "seditious statements" that undermined military operations.
"Six weeks ago, Senator Mark Kelly — and five other members of Congress — released a reckless and seditious video that was clearly intended to undermine good order and military discipline," Hegseth said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "As a retired Navy Captain who is still receiving a military pension, Captain Kelly knows he is still accountable to military justice. And the Department of War — and the American people — expect justice."
The review could result in a downgrade of Kelly's rank at which he officially retired. As a result, his retirement pay, which is tied to rank, may also be reduced.
Kelly fired back by calling the move "outrageous" and "un-American."
"If Pete Hegseth, the most unqualified Secretary of Defense in our country’s history, thinks he can intimidate me with a censure or threats to demote me or prosecute me, he still doesn’t get it," Kelly said. "I will fight this with everything I’ve got — not for myself, but to send a message back that Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump don’t get to decide what Americans in this country get to say about their government."
A censure letter will also be issued outlining the "totality of Captain Kelly’s reckless misconduct," Hegseth said.
Such a letter typically calls out figures for wrongdoing and can be used to justify reductions in rank, pay or benefits. It also serves as an official warning that future misconduct could result in harsher consequences.
"This Censure is a necessary process step, and will be placed in Captain Kelly’s official and permanent military personnel file," Hegseth said.
The department added that Kelly’s status as a sitting U.S. senator "does not exempt him from accountability, and further violations could result in further action."

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has announced that he will not seek re-election amid an accelerating scandal over welfare fraud that has cost taxpayers billions of dollars.
'Every minute I spend defending my own political interests would be a minute I can't spend defending the people of Minnesota against the criminals who prey on our generosity and the cynics who prey on our differences,' Walz said in a statement on Monday morning.
'So I've decided to step out of the race and let others worry about the election while I focus on the work.'
Walz also noted that he 'came to the conclusion' he could not give his all to a political campaign in conversations with his family and 'team over the holidays.'
Senator Amy Klobuchar, the former 2020 presidential candidate, is expected to enter the gubernatorial race as the Democratic favorite.
Klobuchar met with Walz privately yesterday to discuss the transition and is now 'seriously considering' the run, according to the Minnesota Star Tribune.
The announcement comes as Walz has been rocked by scandal over massive fraud involving state welfare, including payments to daycares and COVID-era loans.
The majority of the defendants indicted so far come from the Somali community.
For his part, Walz eventually took responsibility for his state’s safety net allegedly being bilked out of millions, saying in December, "This is on my watch, I am accountable for this and, more importantly I am the one that will fix it."
