[SudanTribune] Activists on Friday accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of kidnapping at least 10 merchants from the town of Ghubeish in West Kordofan state, sparking widespread fear among local residents.

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with other security elements, have repelled an attack by suspected Boko Haram terrorists on Mayo Ladde village in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa.
The attack occurred at about 9:00 p.m. on Friday in Mayo Ladde, a border community linking Askira/Uba Local Government Area and the Sambisa Forest axis of Borno.

Italian police said Saturday that they have arrested seven people suspected of raising millions of euros for the Paleostinian terror group Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... Police also issued international arrests for two others outside the country.
The arrests come amid massive anti-Israel protests in Italia in recent months that have served as a rallying point for the opposition and drawn hundreds of thousands of people across the country, according to organizers.
Three associations, officially supporting Paleostinian civilians but allegedly serving as a front for funding Hamas, are implicated in the investigation, said a police statement.

Among those arrested was Mohammad Hannoun, president of the Paleostinian Association in Italia, according to media reports.
Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi posted on X that the operation "lifted the veil on behavior and activities which, pretending to be initiatives in favor of the Paleostinian population, concealed support for and participation in terrorist organizations."
There was no immediate comment from the suspects or the associations.

Investigators claim that the funds were intended to be used to support Hamas’ criminal activities and attacks on civilians, and not for humanitarian purposes. Mohammad Hannoun, the head of the Palestinian Association in Italy and a fundraising leader, diverted 71 percent of donations to the military wing of Hamas, Euro News reported.
Hannoun, a man who prosecutors called the “head of the Italian cell of the Hamas organization,” was the most notable figure to be arrested.

In the Takhti Khel area, a clash between the local peace militia (Aman Lashkar) and Taliban resulted in the death of one police officer and one civilian, while 18 people, including women and children, were injured. Using drones, the peace committee identified the bodies of six Taliban affiliates. Police could initially retrieve only one body in an armored vehicle, identified as Maulana Nusrat of Jani Khel.
Commander Nusratullah Wazir, also known as Maulvi Zarar Waziristani, son of Ata Muhammad Khan, a resident of Hindi Khel, Jani Khel, was considered one of the leading commanders of the TTP’s Bannu chapter, with operational influence across multiple districts. He had been appointed head of “Dawat o Irshad” (preaching and outreach) for the Bannu chapter for two consecutive terms (2025 and 2026), and was recently assigned the same position for the Dera Ismail Khan chapter as well.
Nusratullah Wazir was well known in militant circles for planning and executing attacks in coordination with allied militant organizations. Security forces had placed a bounty of 2.5 million rupees on his head, and he was wanted in 28 serious terrorism cases.

A full curfew remained in effect in the town, the IDF said, with movement heavily restricted.

A 16-year-old who was maimed in the attack remained hospitalized on Saturday, according to media reports.
Two of the terrorists’ brothers were arrested overnight inside Israel, in a joint operation between the Yamam counterterror police force and the Shin Bet, police said. The pair were located in an agricultural building in Arraba in the Galilee, where they and their brother had worked illegally.
Rub himself was released from the hospital on Saturday after being treated for his wounds at HaEmek Medical Center in Afula, and was transferred to Shin Bet custody for interrogation.
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir on Saturday held a situational assessment at the Menashe Regional Brigade headquarters in the northern West Bank following the attack. The discussion was focused on ongoing IDF operations in Qabatiya and the continuation of counterterrorism activity across the northern Samaria region.
The army said it had begun the process of sealing off Rub’s home in Qabatiya, which is often a replacement or stopgap for demolition.
As a matter of policy, Israel demolishes the homes of Paleostinians accused of carrying out deadly terror attacks. In general, the demolition process takes several months, as the High Court must address appeals by the family, and security forces often wait for an optimal time to enter Paleostinian cities or neighborhoods for the operation.
The military said that IDF troops had mapped out the home on Friday and began sealing it off on Saturday, after IDF Central Command chief Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth signed off on the order following all the necessary permits. Security forces also intended to advance the process of destroying the home, the IDF added.
During the mapping and sealing process, several suspects were arrested in Qabatiya on suspicion of terror-related activities, and dozens of others were interrogated, the IDF said.
Earlier Saturday, the military said that forces from the Duvdevan commando unit, the Paratroopers reconnaissance unit, the Border Police, and the Israel Prison Service’s Metzada unit were operating in Qabatiya.
A full curfew has been imposed on Qabatiya, with engineering forces carrying out blockades across the town. The IDF said that aerial forces were providing fire support and reconnaissance over Qabatiya and the nearby Jenin area, while additional forces continue to reinforce the seam line, a swath of West Bank land on the Israeli side of the West Bank security barrier.
Defense Minister Israel Katz said Saturday evening that Israeli forces were "acting forcefully against terror hubs" in Qabatiya, including "a complete closure and encirclement of the village."
Katz added that anyone "who provides backing or shelter to terror will pay the full price."
Friday’s attack began shortly past noon in Beit She’an along northern Israel’s Route 71, security forces said. Rub first rammed his car into a 16-year-old boy, who was later hospitalized with light wounds, and then into Mordechai Shimshon, 68, killing him.
He then drove toward Afula, first stopping near Kibbutz Ein Harod, where he stabbed to death Aviv Maor, 19. At the entrance to Afula, the terrorist then drove into a utility pole while trying to run over another man, then got out of the car and hit the man in the head with a stone. The man was hospitalized and later released.
Rub then tried to flee on foot but was shot and maimed by a civilian before being arrested.
