Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced Wednesday.
The strike Tuesday against a boat allegedly carrying drugs is the eighth conducted by the Trump administration. The previous seven happened in the Caribbean.
''Yesterday, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel being operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization and conducting narco-trafficking in the Eastern Pacific. The vessel was known by our intelligence to be involved in illicit narcotics smuggling, was transiting along a known narco-trafficking transit route, and carrying narcotics,'' Hegseth said.
''There were two narco-bully boyz aboard the vessel during the strike, which was conducted in international waters. Both bad boyz were potted and no US forces were harmed in this strike,'' he added.
Earlier this week, Hegseth announced that three alleged narco-bad boyz were potted in a US strike on a drug smuggling vessel affiliated with Colombia's National Liberation Army.

. Vadym Davydenko, 17, died last week following what authorities described as a 'serious incident' at an emergency accommodation facility in Grattan Wood, Donaghmede.
Two others - a teenage boy and a woman - were also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí confirmed that one teenage male - understood to be of Somali origin - was arrested after receiving medical treatment. Officers have said they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the case.
Even before this week's unrest, Dublin had already become the physical heart of the debate around immigration in the country.
Images of asylum seekers setting up home in a squalid tent city along the city's Grand Canal over the last few years have added to the sense of a growing crisis.
In June, around a dozen of the tents were slashed, with thugs stealing the belongings of homeless migrants. One volunteer who helps asylum seekers told RTE that several men 'came around threatening that they had to leave'.
The same month thousands took to the streets in another part of Ireland against what they described as 'mass migration'.
Some 3,000 people joined the anti-immigration rally in Cork organised by Ireland Says No - which attendees said signalled a feeling in the country that 'enough is enough'.
Protesters, describing themselves as Irish patriots and nationalists, said they have two main grievances - 'mass migration' and a belief that they have been forgotten by the government.
Footage of the march showed a sea of tricolour flags raised above the crowds, with chants including 'Ireland for the Irish' and 'Whose streets? Our streets!'.
At the time, the rally's lead organiser, ultra-nationalist Dublin councillor Malachy Steenson, said that the size of the crowd would instill confidence in people who were concerned about airing their criticisms.
'We don't care what Brussels says,' he told the crowd, 'we are going to take this country and run it for the benefit of its people.'
Speaking before local elections in November, he stated his view on how he felt this could be achieved: 'We need to close the borders and stop any more migrants coming in.'

Spanish tourist towns like Barcelona and Valencia have a major problem: Locals almost can't find affordable rooms and flats to rent, because everything is occupied by AirBnB, which is more lucrative for landlords. This creates the anger, and part of it is understandable.
Of course the migrant part is idiotic, but locals do have some legitimate concerns.

The Coast Guard is bolstering its forces along western Texas’ Rio Grande to support President Donald Trump’s border security mission as part of a "surge operation," according to the service.
Trump declared a national emergency at the border in January, and his administration stood up Joint Task Force Southern Border in March to allow troops under the Department of War to assist with the Department of Homeland Security’s border mission.
Dubbed Operation River Wall, the Coast Guard deployment aims to counter the influx of drugs into the U.S., and to deter and interdict illegal immigrants along the 260-mile stretch of the river that is part of the U.S. border, the service announced Monday.
The Coast Guard said it is dispatching additional response boats, shallow watercraft, command and control assets, and tactical teams to the area to support the operation.
The service said it is leading operations it is conducting alongside U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Department of War under U.S. Northern Command to advance Trump’s border priorities.
"U.S. Coast Guard is the best in the world at tactical boat operations and maritime interdiction at sea, along our coasts, and in riverine environments," Adm. Kevin Lunday, acting commandant of the Coast Guard, said in a Monday statement. "Through Operation River Wall, the Coast Guard is controlling the U.S. southern border along the Rio Grande River in eastern Texas."

"Over the course of recent weeks, the National Cyber Directorate has identified a trend of a wave of cyberattacks against companies that offer computer services to many companies in the economy," the statement said.
The statement continued: "Among the bodies that were attacked in the wave of Iranian attacks were Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh), where the attackers tried to interfere with hospital operations, without success."
Israeli officials acknowledged that patient data was leaked during the attack. But Yosi Karadi, the head of the directorate, praised the government’s work blocking the hackers.
"Thanks to the cooperation, quick information sharing and targeted reaction, the events were shut down quickly and efficiently, avoiding wider damage to the economy, " he said in the statement. "In the case of Shamir Medical Center, beyond the data leak, the very attempt to damage an Israeli hospital means a red line has been crossed, which could have led to an attack on human life."

Justice Minister Yariv Levin said Wednesday he had ordered the deportation of 32 foreign activists who had helped Palestinians harvest olives in the West Bank, on the grounds they violated a military order.
Levin said the deportation order came after a complaint filed by Samaria Regional Council chief Yossi Dagan, who said the activists were “anarchists who carried out provocations in the Samaria area,” using the biblical term for the northern West Bank.
Rudy Schulkind, a 30-year-old British national among the deported, told AFP he had come to the West Bank to support Palestinian farmers.
This year’s olive season has been particularly violent, with several acts of vandalism and attacks from Israeli settlers.
Foreign activists often provide a presence meant to deter these incidents in rural West Bank areas.
Schulkind said he was held 72 hours by Israeli forces before being deported on October 19.
“We were arrested after they declared the area we were harvesting in as a military zone,” he said, alleging that this was a common Israeli tactic against Palestinians.
He added that all 32 international volunteers were arrested in an olive grove near the West Bank city of Nablus.
Schulkind said that he and the other volunteers “were never brought before a judge,” during their detention.
Levin said the deportation was co-signed by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, and accused the activists of violating “a military commander’s order” and of belonging to the UAWC (Union of Agricultural Work Committees).
UAWC, a Palestinian non-profit organization that focuses on agricultural development, was labelled by Israel as a terrorist organization in 2021 along with five other NGOs, in a ruling condemned by the UN.
Schulkind did not disclose which organization he came with, but Fuad Abu Seif, researcher at UAWC and the organization’s former director, told AFP the volunteers came under a so-called “National Campaign” organized by many Palestinian NGOs and the Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority’s ministry of agriculture.
Abu Seif said the UAWC is a member of that campaign, but not an organizer.
For its part, the Palestinian Authority foreign ministry condemned the arrests.
Thirty-two foreign activists seeking to help Palestinian olive growers with their olive harvest have been expelled from Israel and banned from entering the country for 99 years, following coordinated action by the Interior Ministry’s Population and Immigration Authority, the police in the West Bank, the National Security Ministry and the Samaria District Council.
According to a joint statement put out by some of those agencies today, the 32 activists “identified” with the Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) organization, which was banned by Israel in 2021 for its ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization.

He was targeted while riding a cycle of violence in the town of Ain Qana. Lebanon’s health ministry confirmed that one person was killed in the strike.
The Radwan Force was previously tasked with invading Israel in a future war, and the IDF said the elite unit had advanced the terror group’s "Conquer the Galilee" plan for years, until the 2023-2024 war saw most of Hezbollah’s leadership eliminated.
On Monday, the IDF said it carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in the Nabatieh area.
"The Hezbollah terror organization continues its attempts to rebuild terrorist infrastructure throughout Lebanon," the army said, adding that "the presence of terror infrastructure and the activity of the Hezbollah terror organization in the area constitute a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon."
Also this week, the IDF said it carried out a ground operation on the Lebanese side of Mount Dov to demolish several Hezbollah posts.
The operation, carried out by reservists and combat engineers of the 810th "Mountains" Regional Brigade, took place on Sunday, the military announced on Tuesday.
The IDF said that the posts were destroyed to prevent them from being used by Hezbollah to entrench itself in the area in the future.
The operations in Lebanon come as the IDF carries out one of its largest exercises in the past two years, simulating fighting along the border with Lebanon and in Israeli communities in the area.
The 91st "Galilee" Division’s drill, which began on Sunday, will conclude on Thursday. The IDF said it was the first "full division-level drill" since the start of the war.
Visiting the drill on Tuesday, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir told commanders that the military must return to carrying out training after two years of war.
"Alongside the continuation of operational activity, thwarting threats and maintaining a high level of alertness, you must return to training and improve readiness for war across all sectors," Zamir said, according to remarks provided by the army.
The drill followed Zamir’s directive to all military commands and branches to "return to training to continue improving the IDF’s preparedness for war across all sectors," the IDF said.
The military said the drill has involved various defensive and offensive scenarios, "as well as an assessment of the division’s readiness and capability."
The IDF warned that explosions may be heard, there will be troops acting as an opposing force — including flying paragliders — and there will be an increased movement of drones, aircraft, Navy vessels, and troops in the Galilee.

The son of a prominent French jihadist, known as Jibril al-Mouhajir, told AFP that "festivities erupted after midnight and are ongoing."
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) relayed that security forces affiliated with the interim government’s interior ministry had "launched a major security campaign targeting the ’French Camp’ in the town of Harem in western Idlib."
The camp is reportedly a stronghold of the Firqat al-Ghuraba - Strangers Brigade in Arabic - led by Omar Omsen, a French jihadist of Senegal ... a nation of about 14 million on the west coast of Africa bordering Mauretania to the north, Mali to the east, and a pair of Guineas to the south, one of them Bissau. It is 90 percent Mohammedan and has more than 80 political parties. Its primary purpose seems to be absorbing refugees... ese origin. According to SOHR, the operation aims to extradite Omsen along with other "individuals wanted by La Belle France."
SOHR, which relies on a network of local sources, said festivities broke out during the operation, resulting in "several casualties and injuries among both the French imported muscle and security personnel." Several "French jihadists" were reportedly arrested as well.
The operation, SOHR added, was "prompted by security threats emanating from inside the camp," and authorities are attempting to carry out the arrests "while ensuring the safety of women and kiddies and preventing the confrontations from spreading to northern Idlib."
The Harem raid is part of a broader campaign across Idlib province targeting all known residences of foreign Lions of Islam in a sweeping search-and-extradition effort, the war monitor explained.
A widely circulated statement on X, attributed to Firqat al-Ghuraba, accused the Syrian interim government of "executing a plan to eliminate imported muscle in cooperation with the United States and the International Coalition - including La Belle France." The group reportedly alleged that "Frenchies are the first targets of this plan."
Rudaw English was unable to independently verify the authenticity of the statement.
In early December, a coalition of opposition forces - led by the now-dissolved Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else ...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State...
