[NYP] A predictable reaction to the horrible murder of Charlie Kirk among legacy media outlets has been to condemn the ugly tenor of America’s political debate and call for a timeout.
On its face, the plea sounds reasonable enough, but it rests on the false idea of both-sidesism, as if left and right are equally to blame for the frightening rise of political violence.
Count that as another Big Media lie and a repugnant effort to obscure the actual source and motivation of the assassination scourge.
There are not two sides contributing to the horror and equally responsible for it. The single truth is that we are witnessing the inevitable result of a decade of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Kirk’s death is another piece of poisoned fruit growing out of the far left’s hysteria and its fetish-like obsession about killing the president.

Now it has clearly metastasized to where Trump is not the only target and words are not the only weapons.
The accused killer of Kirk, Tyler Robinson, was "deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology," according to Utah Gov. Spencer Cox.
Robinson, a stellar student in high school, dropped out of college after just one semester, and seems to have gotten drunk on the social media Kool-Aid about the evils of Trump, Kirk and everyone who subscribes to any conservative principles.

He (Charlie Kirk)
had great following one of the most popular social media influencers in US politics especially the young voters.
He also got many threats that led to have a fairly substantial security team that try (from my ignorant perspective) to give an answer to close shooter (reaction not so much prevention).
My perspective, if you consider a firearm from close distance, why not long gun and etc.
From my experience: I feel that Kirk growing in popularity didn’t go hand-in-hand with the increase of the FEEL of the risk (from Kirk perspective or/and his team that we know after the fact)
What I’m suggesting given this uncertainty about the FEEL (since risk management is in many ways just a FEEL and we are in many ways manage our lives by the force of HABITS and CHANGE is difficult for all human beings and organizations managed by people) is to apply protocol against a gun threat (short/long).
Security is not a rocket science and the most important is to be preventive (since we have close to zero chance to be react faster then a bullet).
This protocol exists (it’s common knowledge among pros) and it is SIMPLE to apply but ONE thing is usually the problem the FEEL. People don't FEEL it will happen to them.
About the FEEL, I know (reliable source that I trust) that Charlie refused a bulletproof glass unfortunately - what I’m suggesting is simple bring to client attention that the protocol for this type of events require a bulletproof glass against short/long gun there are other layers to consider but as preventive layer I would give it a priority over reactive (priorities are part of risk assessment analysis 🧐)

AI has helped me tremendously in finding the correct command line prompts for a IMHO poorly documented but powerful open source software package.
However the answers to my prompts were rarely correct themselves, but they showed me where I had made a mistake, making it easy to find the complete correct prompt.
That said using AI to generate big blobs of information whose correctness cannot immediately be verified (which is what software really is) is madness.
Having human specialists going through these blobs with a fine comb looking for errors that a human wouldn't normally make is more costly than having skilled humans write software from scratch.
AI is a yuge productivity boost in some areas (applied art, both textual and graphics) but absolute poison in others, especially software development.

[ZeroHedge] New data shows that 64 percent of violent robberies, physical and sexual violence on public transport in Paris are committed by foreigners, with 43 percent of this number being North African, who represent only 3.4 percent of the population.
The data, from the French agency INSEE, as reported by Fdesouche, also shows that in 2024, overall in France, foreigners committed 41 percent of violent robberies, physical and sexual violence on public transport. Nineteen percent of these crimes were committed by North Africans.
The foreign population in France is equivalent to 5.2 million people, or 7.7 percent of the total population. Of this number, 44.4 percent are from Africa.
These statistics do not break down information based on race or ethnicity, as France does not track such information. France also does not track the migration background of French citizens. Any foreigner who has since become a French citizen is tracked in the statistics as French.
In addition, Remix News also reported this year that there has been an 86 percent increase in sexual offenses on French public transport over the last decade, according to the National Observatory on Violence against Women (MIPROF). Seven out of 10 Paris women say they have been victims of sexual violence on public transport.
In terms of sexual assault, women are the victims in 91 percent of all cases, according to the survey from the Ministerial Statistical Service for Internal Security (SSMSI). Of those victims, 75 percent of them are under 30, and 36 percent of those are minors.
In 2024, there were 3,374 victims of sexual violence on public transport, which is 6 percent more than in 2023, 9 percent more than in 2022, and 86 percent more than in 2016. An incredible 44 percent of the victims were in the Paris region, which is located in Île-de-France, as reported by Le Figaro.
Similar data is seen in Germany, where 59 percent of all sexual assaults on German trains are attributed to foreigners, with sexual crimes doubling since 2019.
The survey also shows that seven out of 10 women who live in the Île-de-France region have already been victims of sexual violence during their lifetime.
In addition, 56 percent of women said they were scared to ride public transport in the Ile-de-France (Paris) rail network, while 80 percent admitted to being on alert, according to the study.

"Charlie was a courageous and powerful voice for Israel," she continued. "He dedicated his life to the struggle for truth, to exposing lies, and to standing up against the recurring waves of antisemitism."
A mural of Kirk with angel wings went up in the city of Ashdod less than 24 hours after his death, painted by the graffiti artist Dudi Shoval.
"If the world is divided into good and evil, then we lost a very important person today on the side of the good. I still can’t believe they managed to shut your mouth," Shoval posted on Instagram. "May we continue Charlie’s path and never allow the insane anarchists to use violence to silence us and throw us off the map. We literally need you to keep watching over us from above. May his memory be a blessing."

So this was aimed at people who could be convinced by the denial.
Who the hell are these people? Why would anyone think Israel would murder their best friend in their most important ally!

Over penetration exit wounds are common. I have shot deer and seen shoulder entrance and exits thru ribs with round still traveling some distance.

I'm an experienced hunter, and no, not "anyone" could have made it at 200 yards.
A rifle that shoots accurately with selected ammunition has a dispersion circle of two centimeters at best at 100 meters. At 300 meters, this is already six centimeters. Added to this is the “shooter dispersion,” which I estimate at approximately twelve centimeters at 300 meters under hunting conditions – this corresponds to around four centimeters of shooter dispersion at 100 meters. Six centimeters of weapon dispersion plus twelve centimeters of shooter dispersion – that's a total of 18 centimeters! This is the minimum size of the target area of the game you want to shoot at 300 meters.
You can therefore calculate the maximum shooting distance depending on the size of the lethal hit zone for each type of game, as well as the dispersion of the rifle and that of the hunter: This means around 200 meters for roe deer.
Note that you'd be aiming at a stationary part of the body. The head of a speaker would not be stationary. And the lethal hit zone is quite small.
It was not an easy shot. Doable for a person with shooting experience, but not easy.

I recall early on someone commenting that Charlie was wearing a vest and the neck wound was a ricochet off the top of it as he was leaning back? Anyone know about the postmortem forensics yet? Just a thought.
I have reading back channel comments by a collection of Firearm Subject Matter Experts on expected over penetration at 150 to 200 yds. Video analysis where is the weapon?
