[Breitbart] Mexican Senator Lilly Tellez (PAN-Sonora) blasted President Claudia Sheinbaum, demanding she "stop telling lies." The senator accused her country’s president of having a close association with several lawyers who represent drug cartels during a fiery speech to the Mexican Senate.
The Senator representing the Mexican State of Sonora is routinely critical of President Sheinbaum’s seemingly soft approach to fighting organized crime in Mexico. Maria Lilly Del Carmen Tellez García, professionally known as "Lilly Tellez," is a Mexican politician who was first elected as a senator in 2018 under the Morena Party. In 2019, Tellez left the Morena Party, and in 2020, she joined the National Action Party (PAN). She became an openly vocal critic of the Mexican government, often claiming with receipts that they are in bed with the cartels.
In June 2022, Breitbart Texas reported that the senator lashed out against the ruling party, saying, "How am I going to face off against the senator from Sinaloa, knowing she has all the support of the Gulf Cartel, and El Chapo’s Cartel?"
Tellez added, "How can we face off against you when you have the full support of the cartels, the mafia, knowing full well that once we get out of here we can be attacked by those criminals who are helping you to operate in the elections —this is having bravery and civic responsibility."
Tellez stated that the decision to abandon the Morena Party was made when former President Manuel López Obrador, commonly referred to as AMLO, traveled to Badiraguato, Sinaloa, to shake hands with the mother of convicted drug trafficker Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán in 2020. Before becoming a politician, Tellez was well-known as an investigative journalist for TV Azteca, Mexico’s second-largest mass media company.
As an investigative reporter, Tellez conducted several investigations involving the Arellano-Felix Cartel. She also produced two documentaries denouncing Samuel Del Villar, a government official from Mexico City, as corrupt. On June 22, 2020, her car was shot at eight times by a group of unknown men. She survived the attack without injury. A bullet was discovered to have hit her seat belt buckle and caused the trajectory of the bullet to change course, possibly saving her life. As is often the case in Mexico, no suspects were ever arrested, and the case was closed.
During her speech before the Mexican Senate in February, Tellez offered proof of President Sheinbaum’s associations with "the defenders of organized crime" by pointing to a photo of the president with attorneys who, according to Tellez, admitted on video to being dedicated to "defending organized crime." Tellez further stated that the attorneys pictured with Sheinbaum are owners of the law firm that represents Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada.

[ZH] Not a surprise. Did Garland get a pardon? Why no, he didn't. Ruin his life
Newly unearthed emails confirm what the Biden administration had repeatedly denied: It was heavily involved in the 2022 prosecution of Trump trade counselor Peter Navarro...
Navarro, one of the top officials in the first Trump White House, had challenged the Jan. 6 Committee’s overreach by invoking executive privilege in refusing to comply with their subpoenas.
It appears the Biden DOJ wanted to make an example of Navarro.
In one email dated May 19, 2022—just days before Navarro was indicted—FBI Special Agent Walter Giardina wrote to fellow agents about instructions from the U.S. attorney for D.C., after the latter’s consultation "with main Justice."
The email read, "I just spoke with DC USAO, after consultation with main Justice, they are not intending to prosecute Meadows or Scavino. This decision is based on their White House positions and prior DOJ opinions. .. We have been told to cease work on those case. [sic]"
Signaling the government’s intent to go after Navarro, the email continued, "They would like to charge Navarro in the next two weeks however."
NEW: Emails obtained by Sen Grassley demonstrate the collusion between Biden DOJ, DC US Attorney Matt Graves, and Washington FBI to pursue an indictment and schedule the arrest of Peter Navarro in 2022.
[FoxNews] Musk and members of the DOGE team sat down for an exclusive interview on 'Jesse Watters Primetime'
As President Donald Trump marked his 100th day in office on Tuesday, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) said it has cut at least $160 billion in waste, fraud and abuse in the federal government.
While the department has made several high-profile cuts during the Trump administration's first 100 days, DOGE head Elon Musk shared that Trump's cost-cutting is just getting started.
"It's a long-term enterprise," Musk said during an exclusive interview Thursday on "Jesse Watters Primetime." "Because if we take our eye off the ball, the waste and fraud will come roaring back."
Watters joined Musk and several team members at the DOGE headquarters, including "Big Balls," who revealed the story behind his nickname and detailed his work rooting out fraud and waste.
The DOGE minds elaborated on more shocking discoveries from the department's first months during their "Jesse Watters Primetime" exclusive.
With no plans of slowing down, DOGE has made a number of consequential and controversial cuts in recent months.
One of the most talked-about DOGE targets in Trump's first term was spending at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Fox News Digital previously reported that nearly 15,000 grants worth $60 billion are set to be eliminated, according to internal documents. The grants amount to about 90% of foreign aid contracts and come after a review on spending by the State Department.
DOGE's efforts at USAID did not come without opposition, including a federal judge in Maryland who ruled that the moves were likely unconstitutional. In March, a federal appeals court granted the Trump administration's motion to extend a stay allowing DOGE to continue operating at USAID.
DOGE has also announced over the past few months that it has cut hundreds of millions in DEI contracts and made efforts to cut federal spending by trimming the federal workforce.
"If there's one group of people who really have a shot at success, it's the people here. They're up until 2 a.m. Monday through Sunday. DOGE does not recognize weekends," one DOGE member told Fox News host Jesse Watters.
As the team shared cases of wasteful spending from top departments to smaller agencies, Watters asked how the findings made Musk and the DOGE members feel.
"Unfortunately, like the 100th time you've heard it, it's hard not to get a little numb, and by the 200th time, you're like, well, OK, it was just another day at the office," Musk replied.
DOGE's efforts have prompted opposition from Democratic lawmakers and many in the American public. From protests to vandalism, public outrage against Musk and DOGE has escalated over the past 100 days.
One DOGE member, who joined Musk on "Jesse Watters Primetime," revealed he dropped out of Harvard University to "serve my country," but faced backlash.
"It's been unfortunate to see lost friendships. Most of campus hates me now, but I think fundamentally, I hope people realize through conversations like this that reform is genuinely needed."
Another DOGE member praised the work to bring about "permanent change" in the federal government.
While DOGE has made a mark on the first 100 days of Trump's second term, the department is still running full steam ahead even as Musk begins his planned departure.
[NYPOST] ''Squad'' Rep. Ilhan Omar told a Daily Caller reporter to ''f—k off'' Thursday outside the US Capitol after he asked her a basic question about Democrats traveling to El Salvador to show support for deported alleged MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
Myles Morrell identified himself as a journalist and asked Omar (D-Minn.): ''Do you think more of your Democratic colleagues should be traveling to El Salvador to advocate on behalf of [Kilmar] Abrego Gracia?'' "Do you still f*&k your Brother/Husband"?
''I think you should f—k off,'' Omar shot back.

Seems to be a macro messaging tack, talking like this makes tough and unafraid just like White Dudes for Harris putting on a flannel jacket makes them rural and laconic.
