Aw shucksy darn. You mean Trump couldn't stop hostilities in one day like he said? Well, kind of hard when you continue to be a co-combatant in killing Russians.
[Garowe] The al-Shabaab ... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda... Death Eaters suffered a series of setbacks, Tuesday, following a security operation conducted by the Macawislay fighters in central regions, marking yet another significant gain against the group in recent weeks.
Security teams confirmed the death of several Death Eaters in central Somalia, with the Macawislay fighters seizing weapons during the planned operation in the dense forests of Ciid-Ciidka within Mahaday, Middle Shabelle.
One of the commanding officers, Osman Beerey, who was in charge of the raid, said multiple Death Eaters were killed in some of the hideouts targeted by the military backers. The Macawislay fighters work closely with the Somali National Army.
"We neutralized several Death Eaters and recovered a cache of weapons and military equipment," Beerey said, while noting that the fighters remain committed to the course.
Some four bodies of the Death Eaters were retrieved by the Death Eaters and transported to the nearby Cali Fooldheere village. The Death Eaters retreated from the strategic points as they made their way into the vicinity of the village after heavy fighting.
Beerey said Macawiisley forces have since taken full control of the areas cleared during the operation, part of ongoing efforts to drive the al Qaeda-linked group out of rural strongholds in central Somalia.
The al-Shabaab Death Eaters have been trying to disrupt supply routes within the country while taking over strategic areas that had been recovered by the Somali National Army with assistance from the US Africa Command and the African Union ...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful... Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM) forces.
Although the group managed to take over some of the strategic areas, the military seems to be determined to edge them out, leading to intense fights in recent weeks. The government of Somalia is optimistic about regaining areas lost to the al-Shabaab.
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... 's Government in Sana'a has warned the British aggressor of severe consequences following its military assault on Yemen, stressing that Britannia must reckon with the implications of its involvement and prepare for the fallout.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Government said, ''In a display of typical British arrogance, the UK Ministry of Defense announced its participation in a joint military attack with the American enemy on our country, south of Sana'a. In response, the Government affirms that the British enemy must consider the consequences of its entanglement and anticipate the outcomes of its aggression against Yemen.''
The statement continued, ''While we pledge to respond to this unlawful and unjustified aggression, we emphasize that this attack falls within the ongoing Anglo-American efforts to support the Israeli enemy by attempting to halt Yemen's assistance to Paleostine, so that the Israeli enemy can continue its genocide in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... The government also stated that this joint aggression is yet another confirmation that the US and the UK are partners in the same war—against both Yemen and Paleostine.
''Yemen's position remains firm in supporting the Paleostinian people in the battle of promised liberation and sacred resistance. With Allah's help, our stance will grow more effective, because Yemen—its leadership, government, and people—draws its strength from Allah's support and reliance upon Him.''
The government stressed that no matter how great the challenges, Yemen will stand firm against the axis of evil: America, Britannia, and Israel, along with their regional allies.
This warning came as Britannia resumed its participation in US-led attacks on Yemen. The UK Ministry of Defense announced Tuesday that British forces had taken part in what it called a ''joint military operation'' in Yemen, referring to the Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s that targeted Sana'a, Saada, al-Jawf, and other areas.

[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights revealed on Wednesday that the total casualties from the US-Saudi aggression on Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... over the past ten years have reached 59,346 killed and maimed. Of those, 2,303 non-combatants were killed or injured in US-British attacks since January 2024 alone.
During a presser held Wednesday in the capital Sana'a, the Ministry released its Tenth National Report on the consequences of the aggression on Yemen.
The report states that among the 59,346 civilian casualties over the 10-year period, 3,154 were women and 4,175 were children.
Regarding the more recent aggression, the report confirms that from January 2024 to April 26, 2025, a total of 2,303 non-combatants were killed or injured by US, British, and Israeli attacks. This includes 214 children and 67 women.
The Ministry noted that it has been actively documenting and recording the crimes committed from mid-March through April 26, 2025, during the latest wave of US military escalation in support of the Israeli occupation.
Judge Ibrahim al-Shami, Deputy Minister of Justice and Human Rights, clarified that the numbers and data presented in the report are not final.
He also pointed out that the report, which includes eight main sections, outlines the impacts and repercussions of the aggression over a specific time frame, underscoring the ongoing nature of the war. He reaffirmed that the Paleostinian cause remains Yemen's primary issue, regardless of the cost.

[IsraelTimes] Abdullah Sabah Albadri, 33, was detained inside compound’s grounds, apparently wearing keffiyeh; police suspect him of terrorism offense and possession of bladed weapon
London’s police force charged a man Wednesday with a terror offense after he was detained trying to enter the grounds of the Israeli Embassy while in possession of what appeared to have been a knife of some sort.
The Foreign Ministry said that a knife-wielding individual had attempted to break into the premises of the Israeli embassy in London on Monday "with the intent to carry out an attack."

[GEO.TV] Defence Minister Khawaja Asif reiterated Pakistain's call for an impartial international investigation into the Pahalgam incident.
Speaking to a private news channel, he stated that Islamabad remains open to any neutral inquiry mechanism, including a United Nations ...where theory meets practice and practice loses... commission or a joint probe by countries maintaining relations with both India and Pakistain.
''The offer for an impartial international investigation still stands,'' the minister stressed. ''Whether it's a UN-led commission or a joint inquiry involving two or three neutral countries with relevant expertise. We are prepared. India must also cooperate if it has nothing to hide.''
He argued that India's reluctance to allow an independent inquiry stems from concerns that inconvenient facts may emerge.
''Voices challenging the credibility of India's claims are growing internally. No international forum has endorsed their narrative. Instead, serious questions are being raised globally,'' he added.
When asked about the broader implications, he remarked that desperation is evident in New Delhi. He further asserted that Modi's actions—driven by political motives, a hunger for power, and Hindutva ideology — pose a serious threat to regional stability.
Bringing home the hostages is part of the victory, not the whole of it.
[IsraelTimes] Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says there is a “superior objective” to bringing the hostages home in the war against Hamas.
“We have many goals, many goals in this war. We wantto bring all our hostages home, we’ve brought back so far 147 alive, and 196 total,” says Netanyahu in his comments at the annual Bible Contest in Jerusalem to mark Independence Day.
“There are another up to 24 alive, 59 total, and we want to return the living and the dead. It’s a very important goal. War has a supreme goal. The supreme goal is victory over our enemies, and this we will achieve.”

[IsraelTimes] Israel’s military says it arrested Ali Samoudi, a well-known journalist, in an overnight raid in Jenin in the northern West Bank
Samoudi previously worked for international outlets including CNN and Al Jazeera. In 2022, he was injured in the same spray of gunfire that killed prominent Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. US officials say Abu Akleh was shot dead by an Israeli sniper.
Israel’s military says Samoudi was affiliated with and transferred funds for the Islamic Jihad group, without providing evidence. They say Samoudi had been transferred to Israel’s security forces.
[IsraelTimes] The IDF says it foiled yet another attempt to smuggle 10 assault rifles into Israel from Egypt earlier today, using a drone.
The drone had been identified crossing the border from Egypt into Israel before it was downed by troops.
The drone and guns were handed over to police for further investigation.
In recent months, there have been frequent attempts to bring weapons and drugs over the Egypt border using drones. There have also been attempts to smuggle similar contraband from Israel into Gaza using drones.
[GEO.TV] Israeli forces shot and killed a 29-year-old man during a raid into the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera reported, citing a report from the Paleostinian news agency Wafa.
It cited the Red Islamic Thingy as saying the man sustained wounds in the chest and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but quickly succumbed to his wounds.
The incident took place as Israeli soldiers stormed the town amid heavy gunfire.

[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Three people were killed in an Israeli Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... that targeted a vehicle near the town of Mays al-Jabal in southern Leb ...home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade.... on Thursday.
The Lebanese News Agency reported that an Israeli military vehicle launched an attack on a pickup truck collecting scrap metal between the towns of Mays al-Jabal and Blida, killing a Lebanese citizen and two Syrians.
On October 8, 2023, Israeli occupation forces waged an aggression against Lebanon that turned into a full-scale war on September 23, 2024, resulting in more than 4,000 deaders and nearly 17,000 maimed, in addition to the displacement of about 1.4 million people.
The occupation did not commit to the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah which came into effect on November 27, as the Israeli occupation army did not withdraw from all the Lebanese positions it occupied as stipulated in the agreement, and continues to carry out strikes on Lebanese territory in flagrant violation of the agreement.
Since the ceasefire, the Israeli occupation army has committed at least 2,768 violations, leaving at least 195 deaders and 486 maimed, according to official Lebanese figures.
The IDF says it killed two Hezbollah operatives in drone strikes in southern Lebanon.
The first strike in Mays al-Jabal targeted a member of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force, according to the military.
The second strike, also in Mays al-Jabal, targeted a member of the terror group who was carrying out surveillance operations along the border, the IDF says.
Lebanon’s health ministry says one person has been killed in an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in the country’s south today. The ministry says in a statement that an “Israeli enemy” drone strike on a vehicle in the southern town of Mais al-Jabal killed “a Lebanese and wounded two Syrians.”

[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Clashes continue across southern Syria despite a declared ceasefire, with festivities erupting in Kanaker as ''Israel'' seeks to exploit sectarian tensions.
Clashes continued to intensify across southern Syria this week, particularly in the Damascus countryside, despite the announcement of a preliminary ceasefire in select areas, according to Al Mayadeen.
Fighting erupted overnight on Thursday on the Kanaker front, with local sources confirming to Al Mayadeen that heavy gunfire and mortar shelling struck the village.
By dawn, local factions reportedly repelled an armed assault by bad boy groups, successfully halting the offensive although intermittent gunfire persisted.
The latest confrontation follows several days of deadly unrest in southern Damascus. On Tuesday, violence broke out between government-backed gangs and local residents in Jarmana and Ashrafiyet Sahnaya, resulting in approximately 70 fatalities. The dead included civilians, armed factions, and members of Syria's General Security Force.
The conflict was initially triggered by the leak of an audio clip containing insults directed at the holy Prophet Muhammad. Although Druze religious leaders swiftly denounced the content, the unrest persisted.
The corpse count from recent violence between Damascus-affiliated security forces and affiliated gangs, and members of Syria’s Druze community has reached 56, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on Thursday.
According to SOHR, the casualties include 16 members of the government-affiliated General Security, ten holy warriors from affiliated gangs, and 30 members of the Druze community.
The war monitor noted that nine Druze individuals were "executed in the field and some of their bodies were burned," after falling into an ambush on the road between Damascus and the Druze-majority province of Suwayda. SOHR reported that the ambush was carried out by forces affiliated with Syria's defense and interior ministries, along with allied gangs.
The war monitor also documented that 16 General Security personnel and eight Druze local fighters were killed in festivities in Ashrafiyat Sahnaya, south of Damascus, on Wednesday. Earlier, on Tuesday, 10 government-affiliated fighters and seven Druze locals were also killed in the Jaramana district of southern Damascus.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
As a cautious calm currently prevailed in all areas that were scenes of recent festivities, the situation remains highly volatile.
Suwayda24, an outlet dedicated to covering news from southern Syria’s Druze-majority Suwayda province, reported on Thursday that "local [Druze] tribes have foiled an attack by gangs" in Suwayda’s western countryside.
Earlier in the day, the outlet reported festivities against "extremist groups" in Suwayda’s western countryside that saw the use of "mortar shells and heavy machine guns." It added that that a widespread power outage had affected Suwayda, with no official explanation provided for the disruption.
A day prior, the state-run Syrian News Agency reported that the governors of Rif Dimashq and Suwayda and Druze "dignitaries and social figures" had reached a "preliminary agreement" to establish a ceasefire in both Jaramana and Ashrafiyat Sahnaya.
SANA further cited Damascus-affiliated security officials as declaring the "completion of the security operation in the Ashrafiyat Sahnaya area, and the deployment of General Security forces in the neighborhoods of the area to ensure the return of security and stability."
However,
if you can't say something nice about a person some juicy gossip will go well... Suwayda24 reported that the meeting concluded "without a clear agreement, except for some non-binding points," which included a full ceasefire and the formation of a joint committee to discuss the aftermath of the deadly festivities.
The outlet further quoted "government officials" accusing "outlaw gangs" of attacking state security forces and "killing 35 members." They additionally called for the regulation and consolidation of arms under state authority in the Ashrafiyat Sahnaya area.
A senior Druze holy man from Syria’s southern Suwayda province, Sheikh Yusef al-Jarbou, challenged the government’s account, stating that "the unrest began with a assassination on Jaramana and then spread to Ashrafiyat Sahnaya and eventually to Suwayda."
Jarbou emphasized the growing crisis of trust between the government and the Druze community and condemned the repeated attacks on Druze civilians, urging an immediate cessation of such assaults to prevent further escalation and bloodshed.
Meanwhile,
...back at the buffalo wallow, Standing Buffalo drew a bead on his old enemy and squeezed the trigger... on Wednesday, the Syrian Foreign Ministry firmly rejected "all forms of foreign interference in the country’s internal affairs," calling the "demands for international protection made by outlaw groups" both "illegitimate and completely unacceptable."
"Such actions pose a direct threat to the unity of the country and undermine national efforts aimed at restoring security and stability," the ministry stated in a post on X.
The ministry also reaffirmed Damascus’s "commitment to protect all components of the Syrian people," highlighting the "integral role of the Druze community in the national fabric."
It praised "the role of Druze sheikhs in maintaining civil peace and quelling unrest," while asserting that "all national issues must be addressed exclusively through national mechanisms," and stressing that "the country’s illusory sovereignty is not subject to negotiation."
