[NYPOST] An American tourist was deported from Indonesia on Monday after he woke up in a Bali clinic over the weekend and went berserk, smashing equipment and forcing other patients to evacuate, wild video shows.
The man — whom authorities identified only as ''MM'' — was unconscious and wearing nothing but boxer-briefs when a pal carried him into the facility around 5 a.m. Saturday, local newspaper Kompas reported.
When he woke up, MM hulked out — slamming furniture to the floor, tearing down curtains surrounding other patients and hurling obscenities at the sobbing nurses, the alarming footage shows.
[NYPOST] A decorated Delta Force vet suffered serious head injuries after being slammed in the head with a brick by an unhinged vagrant with a rap sheet in an unprovoked broad daylight attack.
Hero vet Mark Antal, 54, was standing outside an East Village pilates studio waiting for his young daughters when 44-year-old James Lawson began screaming for him to get off ''his street'' shortly before 11:30 am on Sunday, according to police and sources.
Lawson then allegedly lunged at Antal and the two got into a scuffle — with the deranged maniac allegedly picking up a brick and slamming it into the victim's head, police said.
Despite being dazed by the blow, Antal was able to wrestle Lawson to the ground and waited for cops to arrive after bystanders called 911, sources said. Remarkable restraint
The ugly episode sent both men to the hospital — and left a bitter taste for Antal and his family.
“We are grateful that Mark is alive and concerned about damage to his brain and head,” his wife, Christine, told The Post on Monday. “We are worried about our neighborhood and our children. Our children should not be afraid to be outside on a sunny Sunday morning.”
Lawson was also hurt in the scuffle and is being held at Bellevue Hospital and second-degree assault charges pending an arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court.
Records show that Lawson has five prior unsealed arrests, including two felonies.
His latest bust came on April 9, when was charged in two separate incidents — allegedly smashing a glass at a bar on Avenue B and reaching into a car and grabbing the victim’s phone on Second Avenue.
Lawson was arraigned on those charges on April 11 and released without bail. The charges are not bail eligible under the Empire State’s controversial criminal justice reforms.
Meanwhile, Christine Antal said the incident shook up their family — even though they are no strangers to trauma. They run the nonprofit Task Force Antal, which provides humanitarian assistance to victims in some of the world’s most war-torn regions.
[PAGESIX] Emily Ratajkowski has joined the growing list of celebrities calling out Blue Origin for sending a star-studded, all-female crew up to space for a recreational trip on Monday.
''That space mission this morning? That's end time s—t. Like, this is beyond parody,'' the model told her TikTok followers in a selfie-style video filmed in the car.
''That you care about Mother Earth and it's about Mother Earth, and you're going up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that's singlehandedly destroying the planet?'' Facebook is doing that? Dang!
Ratajkowski, 33, urged her fans to ''look at the state of the world'' and ''think about how many resources went into putting these women into space,'' wondering, ''For what? What was the marketing there?'' "They didn't invite meeee!"
She concluded her rant by saying how ''disgusted'' she is by the whole thing.
Blue Origin is owned by billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, whose fiancee, Lauren Sanchez, was joined by pop star Katy Perry, broadcast journalist Gayle King, NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen and film producer Kerianne Flynn for the roughly 10-minute voyage.
The ladies made the trip in full glam and custom blue uniforms designed by Sanchez.

The mistake Blue Origin made was in bringing them back.
If they'd been 'stuck' in orbit the could have used for fundraising and TV appearances and all.

I hear Mars is nice this time of year.
"Imagine an entire planet free of patriarchy and man-caused global warming; a planet where your pronouns can roam wild and free; a planet free (for the moment) of hate, genocide and war; a planet where *everyone* thinks like you. It sounds like Heaven, but it is right here in our solar system."
We can sell this! We just have to market it right.
[Breitbart] Four people turned themselves in to police and now face charges after allegedly riding horses through a Walmart in Baker, Louisiana.
Police have charged the suspects, identified as Patrick Derozan, Mason Webb, Brendon Bridgewater, and a juvenile, with entering and remaining after being forbidden, unlawful post of criminal activity, and disturbing the peace following the incident that shocked those in the store and people who saw video of it, WAFB reported on Friday.
Video footage shows the young men apparently riding their steeds through the Walmart entrance as shoppers stand nearby. At first, the horses appear unsure of where they are headed but eventually move further into the building and past the self-checkout area:
The young men have referred to themselves as the “cutthroat cowboys,” with one of them claiming his steed is his “emotional support animal.”
When asked what the group was thinking before the stunt, Webb said it was fun and it made them famous. He added that they had no intention of hurting anyone.
When the reporter said some people claimed it was no different that bringing a dog into the store, Webb said, “Yeah, that’s my emotional support animal, basically”:
According to the Advocate, unlawful posting of criminal activity is a crime in the state and prohibits anyone from posting video footage or the streaming of a crime to get attention or publicity.
When speaking of the incident, Baker Police Chief Carl Dunn said it “might be fun to them at the time, but you know, this could’ve been real bad for other citizens,” adding “We’ve got to always think of others before we act.”
It appears the “Cutthroat Cowboys” were not the first ones to ride horses through Walmart. In 2018, a man rode a horse through a Houston location:
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Six people have been injured after a house was destroyed amid a mysterious fireball explosion in a ritzy Texas neighborhood on Sunday morning.
Austin Fire Department said crews rushed to the scene in Sette Tierra at 11.23am after the two-story property detonated and a car parked outside burst into flames.
The fiery blast was so powerful that 24 homes were damaged in total, while residents 20 miles away in Georgetown reported hearing the sonic boom.
Videos showing the aftermath showed the home was completely destroyed. Austin Fire Department extricated several people from the rubble.
Six people suffered injuries, including two people from the exploded home, two from the house next door, and two firefighters who responded at the scene.
Two residents are in critical conditions, while one is in a serious but stable condition, Austin County EMS public information officer Shannon Koesterer said.
Koesterer added that a fourth resident suffered minor injuries but refused to be taken to hospital.
[NYPOST] Homeless New Yorkers — and now migrants colonists — looking to skip town are getting a free ticket-to-ride out of the Big Apple.
The city Department of Homeless Services has inked a new $250,000 contract with booking agent Alpha International Travel Corp., to relocate some of the nearly 100,000 homeless shelter residents across the US. Migrants looking to leave New York City will also be accommodated, as part of a revamp of DHS' Travel Assistance program.
''This program will also now help with the relocation of new arrivals,'' a spokesperson for Mayor Eric Adams ...Hizonner da Mare of Noo Yawk. As a Manchurian candidate, Hizonner was all in favor of law and order and that kind of stuff. Once in office, a bunch of his friends found cushy jobs with the city, the windows kept getting broken, and Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg remained right where he was. Most people comfort themselves with the thought that he's not Bill di Blasio but that's pretty small comfort with kids who actually go to school getting bumped off while standing in front of them. But he's a Dem, so the rubes will vote for him next election too, so he's what they deserve... said. ''Streamlining these operations will allow us to continue closing more emergency shelters and help migrants colonists leave our system to take the next step on their journey.''

The capacity of a garbage truck varies depending on its type. For example, a typical front loader garbage truck can hold up to 40 cubic yards of refuse, which is equivalent to the size of 8 standard dumpsters.
An average side loader can hold up to 28 cubic yards of garbage.
Rear loaders can hold waste from up to 850 households, and some larger models can transport up to 18 tons of waste.
Roll-off trucks can carry about 20,000 pounds, or 10 tons, of waste.
These trucks are designed to compact the trash to maximize space, not to transport people. Therefore, the question of how many people can fit into a garbage truck is not applicable as they are not designed for human transport.

[Regnum] A G2 magnetic storm will hit the Earth on April 16. This was reported on April 14 by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics.
"According to scientists' forecasts, the geomagnetic background will change sharply around 15:00. The space storm will reach the G2 level, which corresponds to the average level," the report says. There goes my electronic tax refund
Scientists added that closer to nighttime the storm will subside to the G1 level and gradually end.
According to experts, on April 17 the geomagnetic background will again increase, but will not reach storm levels.
Earlier, on April 5, a magnetic storm was also recorded on Earth. The level of disturbances of the geomagnetic field, reflecting the power of the storm, reached 5.67 units. This is higher than the weak level, but slightly below average.

[FoxBusinessNews] Nvidia will manufacture its advanced Blackwell chips in Arizona with AI supercomputers to be made at new facilities in Texas
Nvidia on Monday announced plans to manufacture its artificial intelligence (AI) supercomputers entirely in the U.S. for the first time.
The AI chipmaking giant said it has worked with manufacturing partners to commission over 1 million square feet of manufacturing space to build and test Nvidia's advanced Blackwell chips in Arizona as well as AI supercomputers in Texas.
The company said it has already started production of Blackwell chips at TSMC's chip plant in Phoenix.
Nvidia is also building two supercomputer manufacturing plants in Texas – one with Foxconn in Houston and another with Wistron in Dallas. The company said it expects mass production to ramp up at both plants in the next 12 to 15 months.
"The engines of the world's AI infrastructure are being built in the United States for the first time," said Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. "Adding American manufacturing helps us better meet the incredible and growing demand for AI chips and supercomputers, strengthens our supply chain and boosts our resiliency."
The company's AI supercomputers are used to power new data centers that are being created for the purpose of processing AI. It's planning to build tens of "gigawatt AI factories" in the coming years. Nvidia added that its AI chips and supercomputers at AI factories in the U.S. are "expected to create hundreds of thousands of jobs and drive trillions of dollars in economic security over the coming decades."
Nvidia said in its announcement that within the next four years, the company plans to produce up to $500 billion of AI infrastructure in the U.S. through its partnerships with TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Amkor and SPIL.
The company added it will utilize advanced AI, robotics and digital twin technologies to design and operate the facilities – including the use of Nvidia Omniverse to create digital twins of its factories and Nvidia Isaac Groot to build robots that automate manufacturing. digital twin robots ... ?
President Donald Trump acknowledged Nvidia's announcement in a post on Truth Social and later commented on the news from the White House on Monday.
"It's big. And the reason they did it is because of the election in Nov. 5 and because of a thing called tariffs," Trump said. "I want to thank Jensen and all of the people that we deal with, the great people, the brilliant people. And without tariffs, they wouldn't be doing it."
Earlier this year, Huang said that the "ChatGPT moment for general robotics is just around the corner" and unveiled Nvidia's Isaac Groot initiative to spur the development of robotics.
The Isaac Groot initiative gives developers of AI-enabled humanoid robots technology elements, including foundation models, data pipelines, simulation frameworks and a Thor robotics computer.
President Trump chooses not to be a comfortable politician, so he makes some nervous. Eventually they’ll get over it. Or if not, he’ll step aside for whoever wins the next election.

I looked all over that ZeroHedge article to see if they reported the percentage decline of Americans as tourists to those countries as well. As expected, no mention. Why don't they want to publish U.S. boycotts in kind?

Given the authoritarian nature that too many governments have taken, you'd probably be put on someone's EU watch list for traveling to the US. "Ve know you have family in zee old country"

US immigration has never been fun. But now it means burner phones and clean laptops. They want to read your E-mail, browse your WhatsApp and other stuff.
People who need to go to the US somehow need to compromise, but tourists have options.
Before, European tourists who weren't accepted were simply put on the next flight back home. Now they may languish in some immigration jail for weeks or even months without even given a reason.
As I've said, tourists have options.

A cogent point. There are increasing numbers of people in Europe nowadays who would get caught for either wanting to eradicate Israel and think Hamas was not only justified but didn’t go far enough, or have friends and relations who do — and that’s separate from those who support expanding the Ummah and establishing their particular flavour of caliphate. And of course the tourist visa —> illegal immigrant pipeline is no longer an attractive option. Not so many come from Europe with gang connections, though, particularly narco gangs…
On the other hand, New York City has historically been a huge tourist draw, but right now I see no attraction to riding the NYC subway, for instance, nor wandering through Times Square. And why would they brave our colourful anti-Israel marches when they can see exactly the same thing back home — with exactly the same accents leading the chants. We have much to clean up here before we are ready to welcome guests again, a point European Conservative politely did not make.

OTOH, Europeans can take an electric train, or walk, nearly everywhere, not having to rely on that nasty ol' fossil-fuel transportation.
Now that may be true, and I like to visit Europe, but I like to live in Texas.

I think most German tourists who visit the U.S. are not carrying antisemitic and/or pro-terrorist info on their phone. They still prefer not to deliver years of business and private info to U.S. authorities.
Well, NYC has never been easy territory for Bavarians. In March 1971, Franz Josef Strauß was in New York for private reasons. At 2:45 in the morning, “the desire for beer drove him onto the street” in front of the Plaza Hotel near Central Park. And it happened as it had to: the inebriated CSU chairman was attacked by three prostitutes who, as a police officer later reported to the German Consul General in New York, stole a wallet containing $180 and 300 marks from Strauß's right back pocket...
