A bail hearing for the two is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Allegany District Court.
The Zizians have been tied to the killing of US Border Patrol Agent David Maland near the Canadian border in January and five other homicides in Vermont, Pennsylvania and Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,Maland, 44, was killed in a Jan. 20 shootout following a traffic stop in Coventry, Vermont, a small town about 20 miles (32 kilometers) from the Canadian border.
Officials have offered few details of the cross-country investigation, which broke open after the Jan. 20 shooting death of Maland. News Agency that Dare Not be Named interviews and a review of court records and online postings tell the story of how a group of young, highly intelligent computer scientists, most of them in their 20s and 30s, met online, shared anarchist beliefs, and became increasingly violent mostly peaceful.

It has been fascinating watching the legacy media work overtime to bury this story on a murderous, trans/ vegan death cult. Even better that they were based nearby.

[MSN] A fresh wave of violent mostly peacefulfestivities has erupted between Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... , and its breakaway faction, the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... West Africa Province (ISWAP), two weeks after a failed reconciliation attempt. The fighting took place in Abadam Local Government Area, Borno State, a region known for its history of violent mostly peaceful confrontations between the two turban groups.
According to Zagazola Makama, a counterinsurgency expert in the North-East, the most recent battle occurred on Friday, February 14, 2025, near ISWAP camps in the villages of Toumbun Gini and Toumbun Ali, located in the Lake Chad Basin. Makama reported that ISWAP suffered significant casualties in the clash, which took place on water. He also warned that the violence could spread to Kukawa Local Government Area, where Boko Haram fighters have continued their operations against ISWAP.
The ongoing rivalry between Boko Haram and ISWAP dates back to 2016, when ISWAP split from Boko Haram and pledged allegiance to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
The split was driven by deep ideological differences, particularly surrounding the leadership of Abubakar Shekau ....the lunatic leader of Boko Haram who was reported dead at least eleven times, pledged his body and soul to ISIS, told his fighters to hang it up once or twice, and been fired by the Caliph and refused to step down. Last seen in 2017, sneaking into Cameroon while wearing a burka. Eventually the got him, or so they say.... , the former leader of Boko Haram, who had previously sworn allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. However,
a woman is only as old as she admits... some senior members of Boko Haram, including Habib Yusuf, the son of the group's founder Mohammed Yusuf, broke away from Shekau's leadership, leading to the formation of ISWAP.
Since the split, both groups have engaged in violent mostly peaceful confrontations, particularly in the Lake Chad Basin region.
[IsraelTimes] A man disturbing the peace outside of Jewish-owned businesses in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood of London has been arrested, police say.
Around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Barnet Metropolitan Police were called regarding reports of a man acting erratically in the street, trying to punch passersby and shouting in Arabic outside Jewish-owned businesses. The man was located with the help of local residents and arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offense.
The incident is being treated as a potential hate crime, police say. There have been no reports of any injuries.
There has been a surge in antisemitic incidents in the UK since Hamas launched its war with Israel on October 7, 2023. Last week, the Community Security Trust reported that British Jews experienced 3,528 antisemitic incidents during 2024, a figure that is second only to the 4,296 incidents recorded the year before.
[ZeroHedge] After two weeks of US Air Force RC-135V/W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft conducting multiple signals intelligence (SIGINT) operations along the US-Mexico border and in international waters off southern Baja California—areas controlled by heavily armed drug cartels—the Mexican Senate Commission has approved the deployment of US Special Forces operators to the country for "training missions."
SOFREP's Guy D. McCardle reports that the Mexican Senate Commission has already approved the US Army's 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Green Berets to conduct training exercises at a naval facility in Campeche, a Mexican port city on the Gulf of Mexico.
As of Monday, the exercise is underway and will last through the end of March in conjunction with the Mexican Navy's Infantería de Marina.
The training will take place at the Luis Carpizo naval facility in Campeche from February 17 to March 30, 2025. It has been officially approved by the Mexican Senate's Naval Ministry Commission and will be conducted under the supervision of the Mexican Defense Ministry (SEDENA). This ensures that while the training benefits from US military expertise, it remains aligned with Mexico's national defense priorities. -SOFREP
"It's important to say the Green Berets' role is going to be just that: Training," Scott Stewart, vice president of intelligence for international security consultant TorchStone Global, told NewsNation, adding, "It's not like they're sending in the SEALs, the Delta (Force) or the (Army) Rangers. It's not like we are seeing the deployment of combat troops or combat aircraft."
Beyond training, this partnership comes as President Trump recently designated Mexican cartels as "foreign terrorist organizations."
When reporters asked Trump earlier this month whether he would consider deploying Special Forces operators to Mexico, he responded, "Could happen" and added, "Stranger things have happened."
ABC News asked Trump administration Border Czar Tom Homan a few weeks ago whether the US military could get involved if cartels strike. Homan replied, "Yes, and we expect them to," adding that US troops "need to protect themselves."
"When laser beams are aimed at any piloted aircraft, whether military or commercial, what might seem like a tiny beam on the ground can blind aircrew, potentially causing a midair collision or other incident," the release warned.
[NY Post] Hamas’ youngest hostages, Kfir and Ariel Bibas, 2 and 5, and their mother are dead and their bodies will be returned to Israel this week, the terror group said in a ghoulish announcement on Tuesday.
Kfir Bibas never celebrated a birthday in freedom after he and his family were kidnapped on Oct. 7, 2023 when he was just 9 months old.
Israel has not confirmed the deaths of the red-headed boys and their mom Shiri, but said it had "grave concerns" about their well-being.
The terror group’s leader in Gaza, Khalil Al Hayya, said that the four bodies of hostages will be handed over on Thursday, while six living hostages, some held for over a decade, will be returned on Saturday.
The six to be released on Saturday are the last living hostages to be freed under the ceasefire’s first phase. Three had originally been expected to be freed.
It was not immediately clear why Hamas had changed the plan.

[IsraelTimes] Activists block roads, march to Knesset, call for 500-minute fast to mark days since hostages’ abduction; ‘They’ve already been fasting for 500 days,’ says relative
Marking the 500th day since the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack and kidnapping, relatives of the hostages were leading rallies and fasts across the country on Monday to call attention to the captives’ plight.
The Hostages and Missing Families Forum was leading the events, encouraging a 500-minute fast and daylong protests under the banner: “Get them out of hell.” A 500-minute fast? Who are they? Cindy Sheehan? Do they get Smoothie breaks?
The fast started at 11:40 a.m. and will end at 8 p.m. with a rally at Tel Aviv’s Hostages Square.
On Monday morning, hostage families and activists blocked roads across the country, including the central Namir Road in Tel Aviv.
Family members of hostages and dozens of supporters also gathered outside the Hostages and Missing Families Forum tent on Azza Street in Jerusalem, near Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home, where they began a march to the Knesset.
Another rally was being held in Carmei Gat, the southern city where Nir Oz residents are living until their kibbutz is rebuilt.
[IsraelTimes] Police find military garb, binoculars in brothers’ bedroom during raid on their home in Arraba, allege they were preparing for ‘armed confrontation’
The Haifa District Attorney’s Office indicted two brothers from Arraba in the Lower Galilee on Monday, charging them with plotting to carry out a terror attack.
Police and Shin Bet agents arrested brothers Yousef and Hadi Nasser a few weeks prior to the indictment on suspicion of identifying with the Hamas terror group and planning attacks against Israeli security forces.
According to a joint statement from the two security agencies, the siblings purchased military equipment in preparation for an “armed confrontation” with the State of Israel. Officers uncovered military garb and binoculars in the brothers’ bedroom during the raid on their house that led to their arrest.
Spokespeople added that Yousef reportedly had learned how to prepare an explosive device to use against Israeli security forces.
Police noted that the investigation is one of many conducted by law enforcement since October 7, 2023, into Israeli citizens suspected of affiliating with Hamas — a phenomenon that high-ranking officers have described as a “grave security issue.”
[IsraelTimes] The IDF’s 162nd Division has concluded its operations in Gaza after 15 months straight, and handed over the responsibility of the military’s buffer zone in the Strip’s north to the 252nd Division, the military says.
The 162nd Division lost 265 soldiers during the ground offensive in Gaza, during which it demolished numerous tunnels and killed thousands of Hamas operatives, according to the IDF.
The southern portion of the buffer zone and the Philadelphi Corridor, the Egypt-Gaza border area, is under the responsibility of the Gaza Division.

[IsraelTimes] A Lebanese security official says Israeli troops have started to pull out from some border villages, as Lebanon’s army moved in, hours before a deadline to implement a Hezbollah-Israel truce.
“Israeli forces are beginning to withdraw from border villages, including Mais al-Jabal and Blida, as the Lebanese army advances,” the official tells AFP, requesting anonymity to discuss sensitive matters.
While withdrawing from some areas, the IDF says it will remain in five key positions for the foreseeable future.
The Israel Defense Forces on Monday confirmed troops will remain deployed in five strategic positions in southern Leb ...home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade.... after Tuesday’s deadline for their withdrawal.
Under a ceasefire deal brokered by the United States in November, Israeli troops were granted 60 days to withdraw from southern Lebanon, where they had waged a ground offensive against fighters from Lebanon’s Hezbollah terror group since early October.
Hezbollah operatives were to leave the zone and Lebanese troops were to deploy in the area within the same period. The original deadline had already been extended from January 26 until February 18.
Last week, the US authorized the IDF to remain in the five points, though it was not clear how long troops would stay there.
The military said it was prepared to stay at the posts for a lengthy period, until Hezbollah fully withdraws beyond the Litani River and the Israeli politicianship instructs it to leave.
At the five positions, the IDF constructed military posts that would be manned by troops.
The posts are located at a hill near Labbouneh, across from the the Israeli border town of Shlomi; the Jabal Blat peak, across from Zar’it; a hill across from Avivim and Malkia; a hill across from Margaliot; and a hill across from Metula.
None of the posts are located within built-up areas of Lebanon. The IDF will withdraw from all Lebanese border villages and towns by Tuesday at 10 a.m.
The IDF also ramped up its defenses on the Israeli side of the border, with several new posts, one in front of every Israeli border community; better surveillance capabilities, including more cameras, radars, and sensors; and triple the number of troops compared to before the war.
The military said it expects Hezbollah supporters to stage protests as residents of the south Lebanon border villages return to their homes, many of which were destroyed amid the fighting. Troops by then will not be located in any of the towns, so there should be no direct friction, according to the IDF.
The IDF, however, said it would prevent suspects from approaching the Israeli border and the newly established army posts at the five strategic positions.
Over the last few days, the IDF said it carried out "intensive activity" in southern Lebanon, removing any last threats it could find, from caches of Hezbollah weapons to tunnel infrastructure. The troops operated in areas up to eight kilometers inside Lebanon.
The IDF said that the area close to the Israeli border was essentially entirely cleared of Hezbollah infrastructure and weapons, after troops in the past months scanned nearly every home, under every tree, and in every valley.
Meanwhile,
...back at the desert island, Bert was realizing to his horror that he'd had only one bottle for one message, and he'd forgotten to include a return address... the IDF said it will continue to enforce the ceasefire agreement after the withdrawal by striking immediate Hezbollah threats and reporting violations to a US-led committee supervising the ceasefire composed of representatives from the US, La Belle France, Lebanon, and the international observer force UNIFIL.
The military said it hoped to see the Lebanese Armed Forces act more against Hezbollah, saying so far their operations against the terror group have been slower than expected. Still, in recent days, the IDF said it has seen an improvement in the Lebanese army’s actions against Hezbollah. If the Lebanese army fails to act, the IDF vowed to do so, as it has during the ceasefire, while coordinating with the US and the ceasefire supervision mechanism it leads.
Should the ceasefire continue to hold after the IDF withdrawal, tens of thousands of displaced residents of northern Israel will begin to return to their homes on March 2.
Hezbollah has said it does not accept Israel’s justifications for staying in Lebanon and has urged Lebanon’s government to ensure the troops leave. The group has not explicitly threatened to resume fighting.
The November 27 deal ended two months of full-scale war that followed months of lower-intensity exchanges.
According to the IDF, the tunnel, belonging to Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force, was dozens of meters long. It included several rooms and caches of weapons.
The tunnel was located several weeks ago by the 810th “Mountains” Regional Brigade, and it was demolished yesterday by combat engineers.
