[IsraelTimes] Two arrested after also pouring red paint on floor of UK National Gallery, shouting ‘Free Palestine’; no permanent damage to 1901 work ‘Motherhood’
Activists on Wednesday briefly pasted a photo of a bloodied mother and child in Gazoo over a Picasso painting at a London gallery, calling for an arms embargo on Israel.
The National Gallery said two people had been arrested by police after an incident involving Picasso’s 1901 work "Motherhood" and that no damage had been carried out.
The Youth Demand group
…formerly the juvenile tentacle of Antifa/Black Bloc, screaming about catastrophic climate change and skipping school with Greta Thunberg, but now that they’ve aged out they’re using the same tactics (except for the skipping school part) to scream about currently fashionable pro-Hamas/Jew hate…
said two protesters stuck a photograph of the mother and child on the protective glass cover over Picasso’s work.
A social media video posted by the group showed a security guard taking down the photo. One protester shouted "Free, free Paleostine" until they were frogmarched out of the room and detained.
As the protester was on the floor, they said the UK government was "complicit in genocide" in Gaza, and that there was widespread support for stopping weapons sales.
"They say it’s in the Jewish name, but this has nothing to do with us," the protester shouted.
Youth Demand has previously protested at the Cenotaph war memorial in London and planned to disrupt King Chuck ...King of England, Scotland, Ireland -- at least part of it -- Wales, Gibraltar, the Falkland Islands, and places like that. The first King Chuck had his head chopped off, the second one was Good Time Charlie. The third once wanted to be a tampon and thinks we'll all be extinct within the next seven years... III’s speech to open parliament earlier this year.
The National Gallery said in a statement that two people entered the room housing the Picasso. "One was apprehended after initially attempting to attach what appeared to be a piece of paper to an artwork. Some paint was thrown on the floor," it added.
"Police attended and arrested the pair. The room is currently closed. There has been no damage to any paintings."
London’s Metropolitan Police said two people were taken into custody after being detained on suspicion of criminal damage.
Two climate activists from the group Just Stop Oil were last month locked away Drop the gat, Rocky, or you're a dead 'un! for 20 months and two years respectively for throwing soup at Vincent van Gogh’s "Sunflowers" at the National Gallery.
Several other paintings have been targeted in protests by climate campaign groups.
Sweden will today send a plane with Iraqi citizens who will be FORCEDLY DEPORTED from Sweden to Iraq. Some of the Iraqis who will be deported today have been living in Sweden for 17 years.

YES may the deportations begin
but it's useless to deport unless you shut the borders
no Muslim migration
they have their countries and we have ours
stop bombing them AND stop letting them in
#2
we should also not share any tech with Islamic countries and not sell them any either
and not allow them to fund universities or any kind of media or buy up our strategic corporations like airlines or media

islam is not so much a religion as it is political. dar-al-islam vs dar-al-harb. We should not allow practitioners of islam (muslims) to be in the US.
[IsraelTimes] German police say they have dissolved an anti-Israel protest camp in the western city of Dortmund after organizers told them that Swedish activist Greta "Pippi" Thunberg ...an autistic sixteen year old Swedish expert on climate change, though I guess she's older now... was planning to visit the camp.
Dortmund police says the decision last night was made, among other reasons, because Thunberg’s appearance would probably have drawn more people to the protest camp than originally permitted.
The dismantling of the camp, which has been in existence for months, was accepted without resistance, police says. Seven protesters were present at the camp yesterday, but Thunberg did not appear, German news agency dpa reports.
On Monday, Thunberg participated in an anti-Israel protest in Berlin.
Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg on Wednesday accused German police of overly heavy-handed tactics in breaking up a pro-Palestinian camp ahead of her planned visit.
WHAT THUNBERG SAID ABOUT THE POLICE
"Police said they would arrest me if I went there," Thunberg tweeted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. "All this just because the students had invited me to speak at their event, and I had been to a [pro-Palestinian] protest in Berlin the day before that police has stormed.
"Germany is threatening and silencing activists who speak out against the genocide and occupation," she said.
Thunberg has repeatedly expressed her solidarity with Palestinians and accused Israel of genocide in recent months.
POLICE CITE FEARS OF VIOLENCE
Police said they had taken down the camp, which had been in place for several months, in a peaceful manner, with seven protesters present.
"After an intensive examination in the context of a risk assessment, the Dortmund police headquarters ordered the ban and the associated dissolution of the gathering," the police statement said.
Dortmund police initially said the decision was taken because Thunberg was a "potentially violent participant" in the protest.
Authorities later retracted this statement and, when asked, said there had been an "internal error."
The dismantling of the camp comes after a pro-Palestinian protest in Berlin saw bottles being thrown at police and journalists attacked, with Thunberg being present at the protest.
The decision comes a day after the anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel, with the previous day marked by numerous pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli demonstrations across Germany.
ARRESTED IN BELGIUM PROTEST
Thunberg was detained by Belgian police at a climate demonstration in Brussels on Saturday, the latest in a string of arrests.
The 21-year-old joined a sit-in blockade with around 150 other activists on Saturday afternoon, the Belgian news agency Belga reported, before she was detained by police together with more than 100 other protesters.
The demonstrators had been calling for an end to subsidies for fossil fuels.
Thunberg became known worldwide for her "school strike for the climate," and her protest action gave rise to the international climate movement Fridays for Future.
Since the Islamist attack on Israel a year ago and with Israel's subsequent military action in the Gaza Strip, the Swede has regularly attended pro-Palestinian rallies.
Critics have accused Thunberg of taking a one-sidedly pro-Palestinian stance during the war in Gaza and the attack that triggered it.
At the protest in Brussels, she wore a keffiyeh — the chequered scarf that has become a symbol of Palestinian solidarity.

The Trump Fence design minimized the need for lethal force, intentionally, but it still needs to be an option, including stopping individuals who resist apprehension. Border Patrol should NOT be playing "tackle football" as the only option every time. Of particular interest once the fence is fully established will be sound/microwave non-lethals to deter climbers etc. Once we regain physical control of the border, with got-aways reduced to reasonable levels, ICE teams and vigorous of E-Verify and Remittance Controls can begin the massive return of illegals to country or origin or Mexico as warranted.
[LawEnforcementToday] Federal prosecutors with the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced charges against an Afghan national living in Oklahoma City for conspiring to carry out a terrorist attack on behalf of ISIS.
According to NBC News, the suspect, identified as 27-year-old Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi was arrested on Monday, October 7th, for his connection with conspiracy and attempting to provide material support to ISIS an getting firearms and ammunition to execute a violent attack in the United States on behalf of the terrorist group. Court documents show that Tawhedi has been charged with conspiring to carry out a terrorist attack on Election Day.
The Justice Department today announced charges against a citizen of Afghanistan residing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for conspiring to conduct an Election Day terrorist attack in the United States on behalf of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization (FTO).
According to a criminal complaint filed today, Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, conspired and attempted to provide material support to ISIS and obtained firearms and ammunition to conduct a violent attack on U.S. soil in the name of ISIS. As part of the plot, the defendant allegedly took steps to liquidate his family’s assets, resettle members of his family overseas, acquire AK-47 assault rifles and ammunition, and commit a terrorist attack in the United States.
“As charged, the Justice Department foiled the defendant’s plot to acquire semi-automatic weapons and commit a violent attack in the name of ISIS on U.S. soil on Election Day,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “We will continue to combat the ongoing threat that ISIS and its supporters pose to America’s national security, and we will identify, investigate, and prosecute the individuals who seek to terrorize the American people. I am deeply grateful to the public servants of the FBI, National Security Division, and U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma for their work to disrupt this attack and for the work they do every day to protect our country.”
“This defendant, motivated by ISIS, allegedly conspired to commit a violent attack, on Election Day, here on our homeland," said FBI Director Christopher Wray. "I am proud of the men and women of the FBI who uncovered and stopped the plot before anyone was harmed. Terrorism is still the FBI's number one priority, and we will use every resource to protect the American people."
“Thanks to the relentless efforts of the FBI, National Security Division’s Counterterrorism Section, and federal prosecutors in my office, the alleged plan to commit an attack on Election Day was disrupted and Mr. Tawhedi was arrested,” said U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester for the Western District of Oklahoma. “Fighting terrorism remains the top priority of the Justice Department. We will continue to pursue, disrupt, and hold accountable those who plot to commit acts of terrorism against our country and our people.”
According to the criminal complaint, as part of the investigation into Tawhedi, the FBI searched Tawhedi’s phone and obtained communications between Tawhedi and a person who facilitated recruitment, training, and indoctrination of persons who expressed interest in terrorist activity and who Tawhedi understood to be affiliated with ISIS. Tawhedi was also seen in a video recorded on July 20 reading to two children text that describes the rewards a martyr receives in the afterlife. Tawhedi also allegedly accessed, viewed, and saved ISIS propaganda on his iCloud and Google account, participated in pro-ISIS Telegram groups, and contributed to a charity which fronts for and funnels money to ISIS.
The complaint alleges that while liquidating their family’s assets prior to the attack, Tawhedi and his co-conspirator, who is a juvenile, advertised the sale of the family’s personal property on Facebook. At the FBI’s direction, a confidential human source responded to inquire if a computer was still for sale. The FBI source noted that he needed the computer for a new gun business he was starting, which ultimately led Tawhedi and the juvenile to meet with the source and other FBI assets at a rural location to test firearms. Tawhedi expressed interest in purchasing two AK-47 assault rifles, magazines, and ammunition from the source.

Afghanistan Withdrawal 2021
An Afghan man arrested on charges of planning a terrorist attack on Election Day worked as a security guard in Afghanistan for the CIA, two sources with knowledge of the matter told NBC News.
Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, was arrested on Monday in Oklahoma and accused of plotting to kill Americans with an assault rifle on behalf of ISIS. Court documents said he had contributed to an ISIS charity in March and accessed online ISIS propaganda, but they did not say whether he was radicalized before or after he came to the U.S. in 2021. A senior law enforcement official said the FBI is still investigating that question.
The CIA declined to comment.
The Justice Department charging document says he entered on a Special Immigrant Visa “and is currently on parole status pending adjudication of his immigrant proceedings.” Special Immigrant Visas are given to Afghans who worked with the U.S. in Afghanistan after they pass DHS screening.
However, two U.S. officials familiar with the matter told NBC News the charging document is incorrect, and that Tawhedi entered the U.S. on what’s known as humanitarian parole.
Officials say humanitarian parole generally entails far less screening than a Special Immigrant Visa.
The sources familiar with his work in Afghanistan say he would have had minimal interaction with Americans and he was not a CIA informant or a member of the U.S.-trained and armed paramilitary force known as the “Zero Units.” Many of those fighters were evacuated to the U.S. after rigorous screening and vetting.
Several assurances in the article that the refugees from Afghanistan were thoroughly vetted, though we know that was not actually true. There wasn’t time, even if plenty of Afghans hadn’t got out with either false documents or no documents at all.
[IsraelTimes] Military says 3 troops seriously wounded in southern Lebanon fighting, but touts drone strike on operatives who killed paratrooper last week; 185 Hezbollah sites targeted from air
Two people were killed in a rocket attack on the border town of Kiryat Shmona Wednesday, as Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets into northern Israel and military forces aimed heavy air and ground fire at the Lebanese terror group.
The pair of fatalities, which marked the first deadly attack on civilians since fighting between Israel and Leb ...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... intensified late last month, came on a day that also saw five people injured in a large rocket barrage on Haifa.
In southern Lebanon, Israeli troops continued to carry out raids, engaging in close combat with Hezbollah forces and carrying out strikes from the air, including against operatives who killed an officer last week, the Israel Defense Forces said. Three soldiers were seriously injured in fighting over the past day, according to the IDF.
Hezbollah took responsibility for the strikes Wednesday, including a volley on Kiryat Shmona early Wednesday afternoon that it claimed had targeted "enemy forces" mustering outside the Galilee Panhandle city.
According to the IDF, some 20 projectiles were fired at the Kiryat Shmona area from Lebanon in the attack, with an unspecified number impacting inside Israel.
The two victims, who were not immediately named, were identified in Hebrew-language media as a civilian couple who had been walking their dogs and were unable to reach a shelter in time. Medics declared the two dead at the scene, according to the Magen David Adom rescue service, which said the pair had been in their 40s. The pair were the first civilians killed in Hezbollah rocket attacks since early August, when a student visiting his family was fatally struck by an errant interceptor missile.
The Kiryat Shmona attack, which also sparked a number of fires in the city, was one of several major bombardments to batter Israeli cities over Wednesday.
At least 40 more rockets were fired at Haifa from Lebanon early Wednesday afternoon, the IDF said, and rockets also rained on other cities across the Galilee, including Safed, which appeared to come under major attack before 5 p.m. A 16-year-old boy was moderately injured by shrapnel from the Haifa attack, MDA said, while four others in their 40s and 50s were hospitalized with minor injuries.
At least one rocket impacted in the Haifa suburb of Kiryat Bialik, causing power outages in the city.
Earlier in the day, air defenses intercepted two missiles launched from Lebanon at the Carmel region south of Haifa. The attack triggered rare sirens in cities in Israel’s northern coastal plain, including Caesarea and Zichron Yaakov.
Hezbollah has lobbed over 3,000 rockets at Israel’s north — and in some cases beyond — since Israel launched an offensive on September 23 aimed at removing the terror group from southern Lebanon following a year of near-daily cross border attacks. Israel says it is seeking to make it safe for some 60,000 people displaced by the Hezbollah attacks since October 2023 to return home, including by eliminating the threat of a Hamas-style cross-border rampage it alleges Hezbollah had planned to unleash on northern towns.
The Israeli military said it has dismantled Hezbollah infrastructure along the border and killed hundreds of Hezbollah fighters. It has also carried out Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s deeper inside Lebanon, including an attack on a coastal town near Sidon that Lebanon said killed four people Wednesday. It did not say if the four were civilians or combatants.
The IDF said Wednesday three soldiers had been seriously maimed in the fighting in southern Lebanon over the last 24 hours: an NCO and a reservist from the Military Intelligence Directorate’s Unit 504 seriously hurt on Tuesday and a soldier from the Alon Brigade’s 8207th Battalion seriously injured on Wednesday.
Four divisions have been deployed along a narrow strip along the border in southern Lebanon, with the army saying Tuesday that operations were expanding toward the west.
During the past day of fighting in southern Lebanon, several Hezbollah button men were killed and weapons and rocket launchers were uncovered by ground troops, the military said in a statement. In one village, paratroopers found hundreds of weapons and a 7-meter-deep bunker.
Overnight airstrikes hit around 185 Hezbollah sites, the army said, including a weapons factory and intelligence command center located amid civilian sites in the southern Beirut suburb known as Dahiyeh, a Hezbollah stronghold. Other targets included sites where cells of operatives were gathered, observation posts, rocket launchers and weapons depots, the IDF said.
The army released footage of a dronezap that it said killed two Hezbollah operatives who had killed Cpt. Ben Zion Falach, 21, of the Paratroopers Brigade’s 202nd Battalion, during an exchange of fire in southern Lebanon on October 2.
The IDF did not specify when the airstrike took place.
Another operative was killed in an exchange of fire in a building, the IDF added.

Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. The park, located less than a kilometer from the Israeli border, used to feature a statue of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps assassinated Quds Force commander, Qassem Soleimani , pointing at Israel and a replica of Jerusalem’s Dome of the Rock. Footage shared on social media on Tuesday showed the heavily damaged park following Israeli operations in the area, and troops placing an Israeli flag where an Iranian one once flew.
Since October 8, 2023, 33 IDF soldiers and reservists have been killed in cross-border skirmishes and in the ensuing ground operation launched in southern Lebanon.
Two soldiers in northern Israel have been killed in a drone attack from Iraq, and there have also been several attacks from Syria, without any injuries.
Hezbollah has named 516 members — including its leader, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah ...The late, lamented satrap of the Medes and the Persians in Leb...> — who have been killed by Israel during the war, mostly in Lebanon but also some in Syria. Lebanon says over 1,300 people have been killed in Israel’s offensive and over a million people displaced.
Israel says at least 440 Hezbollah operatives have been killed since it launched the offensive in September alone.
[IsraelTimes] The Israeli Air Force struck some 45 Hamas sites in Gaza, including sites where cells of operatives were gathered, observation posts, rocket launchers and weapon depots.
The 162nd Division continues a new offensive in Jabaliya, while the 252nd Division continues to operate in the Netzarim Corridor and in a fresh raid in Bureij.
During the operations in Gaza, the IDF says troops killed gunmen and located weapons.

[IsraelTimes] Local Al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade leader, who reportedly survived June 2023 raid, killed in daylight shooting; Israel said to believe armed suspects were planning terror attack
Undercover Israeli forces opened fire on a car in the West Bank city of Nablus, killing five terror suspects, authorities said Wednesday.
Among those killed in the broad daylight shooting near central Nablus was the long-sought leader of the al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade terror group in the nearby Balata refugee camp, according to police. He was named in reports as Issam al-Salaj.
The Israel Police said commandos from the Yamam counter-terror unit had been operating in Nablus when they opened fire on the terror suspects.
"The Yamam forces eliminated five armed bully boyz who posed a threat to their lives," police said.
According to police, the unit had been in Nablus as part of an arrest operation targeting terror suspects, backed by the Israel Defense Forces, Shin Bet security service and Border Police force.
No Israeli forces were maimed, police said.
The Paleostinian health ministry said four men were killed in the raid and a fifth person was hospitalized with bullet shrapnel wounds. His condition was not given.
Footage of the shooting shared on social media appeared to show a small group of undercover officers with automatic rifles opening fire on a car at close range while standing on a busy street, after apparently emerging from another car with Paleostinian plates. Several onlookers could be seen watching the killings.
An unnamed security source quoted by the Kan public broadcaster said the occupants of the car had been high-ranking terror operatives who were planning an attack.
Police did not identify the other wanted Paleostinians, but said they had been "involved in carrying out and planning terror operations against civilians and the IDF."
Salaj had reportedly been the target of a failed June 2023 raid in Nablus, managing to escape with only injuries after a firefight with Israeli forces who had surrounded his home. A Paleostinian teen with mental disabilities was killed during the standoff.
Nablus and the adjacent Balata camp have been one of the several flashpoints in the northern West Bank where Israel has intensified efforts against Paleostinian terror groups.
The raids have largely targeted Hamas ..not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,... , Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. The shooting came hours after a terrorist stabbed several people in the Israeli city of Hadera, wounding six, in the second major terror attack this week following a deadly shooting in Beersheba on Sunday. In both instances, the perpetrators were Israeli citizens.
According to the PA, more than 716 West Bank Paleostinians have been killed by Israeli troops since October 7, 2023, when the IDF stepped up anti-terror operations.
The IDF says the vast majority of them were button men killed in exchanges of fire, rioters who clashed with troops or bully boyz carrying out attacks.
Troops have also arrested some 5,250 wanted Paleostinians across the West Bank, including more than 2,050 affiliated with Hamas.
[IsraelTimes] The IDF says a Palestinian suspect was shot yesterday after resisting arrest at the Tarqumiyah crossing from the West Bank into Israel, and that while being treated, he tried to grab a firearm from a soldier. According to the army, IDF forces spotted a suspect at the Tarqumiyah crossing, in the South Hebron hills, and tried to detain him. The man resisted arrest and was shot in the leg as a result.
“While receiving medical treatment due to the shooting, the terrorist tried to grab a gun from the military force that was accompanying him,” but was prevented from so doing, the IDF says.
[IsraelTimes] The military says it intercepted a drone in the Red Sea area headed toward Israel, as the Iran-backed Islamic Resistance in Iraq releases a statement claiming an attack on Eilat.
The Israel Defense Forces says the drone never entered Israeli territory.
[IsraelTimes] Suspect, an Israeli citizen, rides moped between different sites of his attack, is eventually cornered by armed residents and subdued
Six people were stabbed and injured, two of them critically, in a terror attack on Wednesday in Hadera that spanned four different locations in the central city.
Police said the suspect, who appeared to have acted alone, used a moped to get from one location to the next, attacking people at each place.
The terrorist was then cornered by armed residents until coppers arrived and helped subdue him.
The suspect was later identified by Hebrew-language media as an Arab Israeli resident of Umm al-Fahm.
...home of the outlawed northern branch of the Islamic Movement, the Israeli branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The man was reportedly known to police for past criminal activities.
Magen David Adom chief Eli Bin said two of the victims had initially been listed as seriously injured but their conditions deteriorated and were later declared to be critical. Three other victims were at death's door and the fourth was moderately maimed.
Dr. Jalal Ashkar, director of the Emergency Medicine Department at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, told Channel 12 that four of the victims had undergone surgery.
’GET ON THE FLOOR!’
Video posted to social media appeared to show the moment a number of armed members of the public surrounded the suspect on what appeared to be a main shopping street, their weapons drawn.
The alleged attacker could be seen in the video wearing a cycle of violence helmet and a jacket.
The residents shouted in Hebrew and English to the man to "get onto the floor," but he either ignored them or did not understand.
At least two warning shots were had gun sex before one man fired at the suspect as he reached into his coat. It wasn’t immediately clear if he was hit.
Armed coppers then arrived at the scene and pushed the suspect to the ground while shouting at the others not to shoot.
Speaking at the scene, new police chief Daniel Levy raised some eyebrows by implying that his force is currently unable to adequately prevent terror attacks.
"I want to stress that the Israel Police, these days, as you understand, is stretched to the limit," he said. "My heart is with the injured, but it seems like this is what we’ll have to face in this period and we need to be strong."
Hadera Mayor Nir Ben Haim praised the residents for their bravery in confronting the terrorist.
"This is a difficult day for Hadera, but the heroism of our residents who assisted in the capture of the terrorist proves the importance of vigilance," he said, according to the Walla news site. "The results of the attack could have been much more severe. I want to thank each and every one of you for your composure and resourcefulness."
The attack came two days after the anniversary of Hamas ..always the voice of sweet reason... ’s October 7 mass onslaught against southern Israel, the worst terror attack in Israel’s history, and amid a wave of deadly attacks.
On Sunday, Sgt. Shira Suslik, 19, a Border Police officer, was killed by a gunman at the bus station in Beersheba. Ten others were maimed in the attack.
Last week seven people were killed and at least eight others maimed in a shooting and stabbing attack in Jaffa, one of the deadliest terror attacks in Israel in recent years.
In 2022, Border Police officers Yazan Falah and Shirel Aboukrat, both 19, were rubbed out in a terror attack in Hadera. [Rudaw] Three explosions have been reported in Qamishli city, northeast Syria (Rojava) late on Wednesday, injuring at least one person.
Local security forces have yet to comment and there are few details immediately available.
"Three shells of unknown sources" were fired at Qamishli, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), which relies on a network of sources on the ground.
At least one of the blasts was heard near Qamishli airport, ANHA news outlet reported, adding that one civilian was injured.
Ronahi TV, a broadcaster affiliated with the Kurdish authorities, described the earth-shattering kabooms as "powerful."
Ottoman Turkish drones often strike parts of Rojava on the grounds of targeting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). Ankara also claims that local security forces are linked to the gang.
The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... has not grabbed credit for Wednesday’s explosions.
The blasts occurred days after internal security forces (Asayish) carried out raids across Hasaka province, arresting 54 people accused of robbery, theft and murder.
The Asayish also cordoned off regime-controlled parts of Hasaka for unknown reasons, according to SOHR.
[IsraelTimes] IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi says the Hezbollah terror group is trying to hide its losses amid intensive fighting and Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon.
“Hezbollah is trying to hide the significant harm we have inflicted on the organization in the past weeks,” says Halevi, according to the IDF.
The terror group “is experiencing control and command difficulties, leading to confusion at the decision-making level and challenges in its ability to function,” says the military chief.
Halevi says that “even in Iran they still don’t realize the full damage to the front they built along the northern border.”
Amid reports that the terror group is interested in a ceasefire, Halevi says the IDF will continue to strike at Hezbollah and “not allow it any respite or recovery.”

These airstrikes, carried out by fighter jets, attack helicopters and drones, have been led by the IAF’s Cooperation Unit 5620, which coordinates operations between the IAF and ground forces during maneuvers.
The targets included cells of Hezbollah button men, weapon depots, tunnels and observation and sniper posts.
According to the IDF, the shortest time to carry out a strike from the moment ground troops called it in was seven minutes, and the closest target to the forces was some 50 meters away.
According to the IDF, the drone caches were located both above and below ground. Additionally, drone launchers that were to be used by Hezbollah were struck.
In a separate strike overnight, the IDF says fighter jets struck a Hezbollah weapons manufacturing plant in Beirut, and a command center belonging to the terror group’s intelligence division.
Before the strike, the IDF issued a warning to civilians in the area.

IDF says 185 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon struck in past day
[IsraelTimes] The Israeli Air Force struck 185 Hezbollah sites in Lebanon, including sites where cells of operatives were gathered, observation posts, rocket launchers and weapon depots.
The IDF says troops continue to battle Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon, and several gunmen were killed during the past day in close-quarters combat and in airstrikes.
Weapons and rocket launchers were also found by the troops in southern Lebanon.

According to the military, an airstrike in the Quneitra area of Syria, just across the border from the Golan Heights, killed Adham Jahout, who it says was a member of Hezbollah operating in Syria.
Jahout “passed information from Syrian regime officials to the Hezbollah organization,” as well as other information it gathered along the border to target the Golan Heights.
The statement marks a rare Israeli confirmation of IDF operations in Syria, as it generally avoids publicly claiming its activity there.
May God have mercy on their souls, because their bodies are likely to be uncomfortable for a bit.
[IsraelTimes] The Lebanese army says it has arrested two Syrians on suspicion of having been recruited to work for Israel, as its military bombs Hezbollah targets in Leb ...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Lebanese army intelligence arrested two Syrians "for photographing different places... and documenting the results of enemy Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s," an army statement on social network X says.
The arrests were "a result of surveillance and follow-up of Israeli spy networks and enemy agents," it says in the statement.
The pair had also documented "search and rescue operations and the recovery of bodies" at Israeli strike sites and were "recruited through social media," the statement says, adding that judicial authorities are investigating.
Lebanese security services have arrested dozens over the years on suspicions of collaborating with Israel, with some receiving jail terms of up to 25 years.
Suspicions are running particularly high after Israel killed senior Hezbollah commanders in recent weeks, including the terror group’s leader His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah ...The late, lamented satrap of the Medes and the Persians in Leb...> .
[IsraelTimes] Joshua Tartakovsky, 42, is a graduate of Brown University, LSE; Israeli official tells TOI government is responding to case, urges citizens not to enter enemy countries
An Israeli citizen was detained in Beirut on Tuesday, after entering the country as a journalist on a foreign passport, and put under arrest when an Israeli passport was found in his possession.
According to Hebrew reports, citing the Hezbollah-aligned al-Akhbar newspaper in Leb ...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... , Joshua Tartakovsky — a 42-year-old Israeli citizen, born in the United States — entered the country at some point in the last two weeks on a British passport,
…he’s an American-born Israeli — is he also entitled to a third, British passport, and if not how did he acquire it?
with a group of other journalists.
Israeli officials said they were aware of the incident and dealing with it.
Relevant officials in Israel are aware of Tartakovsky’s arrest, an Israeli official told The Times of Israel on Wednesday, and the case is being handled by the appropriate officials.
"Unfortunately," said the official, "this is not the first time that Israeli citizens have entered the territory of enemy countries, even though this is prohibited by law, and constitutes a clear danger to their security."
The National Security Council also said in a statement, "We would like to sharpen the ban on entering these countries, as the issue appears in messages to the public on the NSC website and has been sharpened even recently around the holidays."
Tartakovsky was reportedly detained in Dahiyeh, the Hezbollah stronghold in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
One imagines they're a bit on edge there at the moment.
There, his behavior aroused suspicion, according to al-Akhbar, and he was taken for interrogation, at which point an Israeli passport was discovered in his possession.
It is illegal for Israelis to enter Lebanon under both Israeli and Lebanese law.
Nobody wants any unintended incidents triggered by the usual kind of idiots.
According to posts on social media, Tartakovsky, a graduate of Brown University and the London School of Economics, had been in Beirut before.
He was described by friends as traveling the world, with hard-to-pin-down politics that frequently change. "One day he was an extreme right-winger, the next day an extreme leftist," one friend told the Ynet news site.
Cosplaying all the time, it appears.
"Not one of his friends was surprised when he was arrested in Lebanon."
[IsraelTimes] News site’s team in Lebanon taken from hotel, blindfolded by ‘unknown men,’ after one spoke to Israeli public broadcaster Kan in aftermath of Nasrallah assassination
Germany’s Bild news site said on Wednesday that several of its journalists were arrested in Beirut and taken for questioning the day after Hezbollah leader His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah ...The late, lamented satrap of the Medes and the Persians in Leb...> ’s liquidation and following one correspondent’s live interview with an Israeli broadcaster.
Bild said its correspondent Paul Ronzheimer and his team were taken from their hotel rooms, handcuffed and blindfolded, to an unknown location. It described those who made the arrest as "unknown men," and added that they were said to have been members of Leb ...an Iranian satrapy until recently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... ’s military intelligence service.
While the outlet didn’t note the reason for the arrests, Hebrew media said that they came a day after Ronzheimer gave a live TV interview to Israel’s Kan public broadcaster. It was possibly the first live broadcast from Beirut on Israeli television since the IDF withdrew from the Lebanese capital in 1982.
Bild said Ronzheimer was released later the same day, after Germany’s embassy in Beirut contacted Lebanese authorities, who intervened. He then continued reporting but decided to leave Lebanon, only after which Bild revealed the ordeal.
"Regardless of the fact that we were arrested, interrogated and imprisoned, it is currently very difficult for many news hounds to report on what is happening," the report quoted Ronzheimer as saying. "I will of course continue to report on this war," he added.
Ronzheimer said Hezbollah hardly issues permits to journalists anymore, according to the Bild report, adding that Belgian news hounds were also beaten and attacked by Hezbollah supporters in Beirut.
The article added that on the morning of his arrest, Hezbollah distributed photos of Ronzheimer via WhatsApp and accused him of violating conditions.
Hezbollah terror chief Hassan Nasrallah, who led the Iranian-backed terror group through decades of conflict with Israel, was killed in an Israeli Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... in Beirut on September 27.
In Ronzheimer’s interview with Kan, he was asked what Lebanese media reports were saying regarding whether or not Nasrallah is dead, to which the journalist responds that "it’s not clear what has really happened there, if Nasrallah is dead or maimed."
The German foreign ministry had already raised its crisis level for missions in Beirut, Ramallah and Tel Aviv. Nevertheless, its embassies have remained operational.
There are currently 1,800 registered German citizens in Leb, a spokesperson for the German foreign ministry said.
Update from the Times of Israel at 5:30 p.m.ET: After American pressure, Mr. Ronzheimer was deported to the U.S., from which experience he has no doubt learnt absolutely nothing.
