What a true vision of loveliness she was this Jeanne Crain; thank goodness I have my black light polarized filtering glasses on viewing this exquisite picture. I even see the mole on the left center of her chest -- wow -- Venus De Milo with arms - real positive that...👀🙂💯
[SUDANTRIBUNE] Four detainees from Khartoum's Tuti Island have died in Rapid Support Forces (RSF) custody, a member of the island's resistance committees told Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... Tribune on Friday.
The source, who requested anonymity, said the deaths occurred in May and were revealed by a recently released detainee who informed the families of the dear departed.
The RSF arrested a number of Tuti Island residents in April following protests sparked by the alleged rape of a girl by an RSF member. During Eid prayers, residents demanded the RSF leave the island, but the paramilitary group responded with gunfire and arrests.
Tuti Island sits at the heart of the greater Khartoum where the White Nile and Blue Nile merge to form the mighty Nile River. The island is surrounded by the three towns of the ''Triangle Capital'' Khartoum, Omdurman, and Khartoum Bahri.
The RSF has occupied Tuti Island since the conflict began in April 2023, effectively turning it into a military base and preventing residents from leaving. Around three weeks ago, the RSF allowed hundreds of families to evacuate in exchange for large sums of money.

Looks like a complex attack. Mines, RPG's, and or IED's followed by small arms ambush. Note the fire discipline (short bursts), high ground position and cover, directed fires (hajji with radio yelling instructions).
[SAHARAREPORTERS] Gunmen suspected to be bandidos have attacked the residence of Alhaji Sanusi Ango Gyaza, an aide to the Katsina State Governor, in Gyaza, in the Kankia Local Government Area (LGA).
Gyaza, a former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) for Kankia LGA, was reportedly killed during the raid, along with his wife.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Friday night, during which the assailants also kidnapped his other wife.
When SaharaReporters contacted the Katsina State Police Command spokesperson, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, he said, "I will get back to you.''
SaharaReporters had earlier reported that over 20 medical and dental students and a House Officer were kidnapped in Benue State while en route to the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students (FECAMDS) annual convention in Enugu.
The students, from the University of Maiduguri and University of Jos, were travelling together when they were ambushed by button men around 5:30pm in the Otukpo area of Benue State.
The State Police Command confirmed the incident to SaharaReporters on Friday morning, sparking concerns for the safety of the kidnapped students.
Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, Butch clutched at his shoulder. Ow! he exclaimed, with feeling...... one of the victims has been identified as a House Officer named Dr Louis.
The abductors have demanded a ransom of N50 million for their release.
[SAHARAREPORTERS] Gunmen attacked a police checkpoint beside the Nnobi Police Station at Nnobi/Nkpor Road in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, killing a policeman.
A source in the area said the policeman killed during the attack on Friday was the driver of one of the police vehicles.
According to PUNCH, the source said, ''The hoodlums entered the community on Friday and lodged in a house close to the checkpoint. They broke a wall through which they entered the compound and forced the residents to open the gate to drive in their cars.
''They were also said to have collected the handsets belonging to the residents and forced them into a room and warned them not to raise the alarm failing which they would be shot.''
The latest attack is coming less than three weeks after some button men similarly attacked a police checkpoint on Omata-Nnobi Road in Nnewi, Nnewi North Local Government Area of the state, during which one police officer was also bumped off by the hoodlums, who also used an bomb to launch the attack.
The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, confirmed the attack.
Ikenga also disclosed that the situation was under control as there was an ongoing operation in the area on the directive of the state Commissioner of Police, Nnaghe Itam.
[SAHARAREPORTERS] The Sarkin Gobir of Gatawa District in Sokoto state, Alhaji Isa Muhammad Bawa, who was kidnapped by terrorists, has cried out for help in a new video released by the button men.
The Emir and his son were kidnapped in July at the Kwanar Maharba area while travelling from Sokoto to his home town, Sabon Birni, the headquarters of Sabon Birni local government of Sokoto State.
''The bandidos on sighting the Emir's vehicle, started shooting guns which resulted in the tires of the vehicle bursting, and the driver losing control of the car. This forced the car to suddenly stop,'' Gobir, one of his sons had said.
''The bandidoskidnapped the district head and his driver who happens to be his biological son.''
The abductors few days after the incident requested the sum of N1 billion as ransom for the release of the victims.
In the video released online, the monarch speaking in the Hausa language narrated how they were kidnapped by the terrorists.
He said their lives are in danger in the hands of their abductors, adding that they had been suffering in the forests where they are currently held.
Pleading for help, he urged the government to urgently come to their rescue.
Also in the video, one of the button men can be heard speaking in Hausa dictating to the victims what to say.

[Regnum] An unmanned surface vehicle of the Houthi movement Ansar Allah was destroyed by the US military in the Red Sea. This was reported on August 16 by the press service of the US Central Command (CENTCOM).
"Over the past 24 hours, US Central Command forces have successfully destroyed one Houthi unmanned surface vehicle in the Red Sea," the statement said.
It is noted that the US military considered the drone an "immediate threat" to US and coalition forces, as well as merchant ships in the region.
Earlier, Regnum news agency reported that American military personnel struck two vessels of the rebels from the Yemeni Shiite movement Ansar Allah (Houthis) in the Red Sea.
One of the ships was attacked off the coast of the Yemeni port of Hodeidah, the Royal Navy's Maritime Trade Coordination Centre reported on August 12. According to official information, the incident occurred 63 nautical miles, or about 116.6 km, southwest of Hodeidah.
Another attack on a British vessel took place on August 3. The attack took place 170 nautical miles southwest of Aden in Yemen.
As the conflict in the Middle East escalated, the Houthis warned that they would not allow ships linked to Israel to pass through the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait until the operation in the Palestinian enclave was stopped. Since November 2023, the Houthis have attacked dozens of civilian vessels. In response to the Houthis' actions, the United States and its allies began retaliatory strikes against Yemeni rebel positions in January 2024.
[NYPOST] Anti-Israel radicals at Columbia University are pushing for the ''total eradication of Western Civilization'' — and threatening even more extreme tactics to accomplish their twisted goal until the ''empire crumbles.''
Columbia University Apartheid Divest, a coalition of 116 student groups at the Ivy League School whose members set up encampments on the Manhattan campus and stormed Hamilton Hall this past spring, made the explosive claim after ''comrades'' in Bangladesh ousted former Prime Minister the loathesome Sheikh Hasina ...Bangla dynastic politician and now exiled former Prime Minister of Bangladesh. She was President of the Bangla Awami League since the Lower Paleolithic. She is the eldest of five children of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding father of Bangla. Her party defeated the BNP-led Four-Party Alliance in the 2008 parliamentary elections. She once before held the office, from 1996 to 2001, when she was defeated in a landslide. She and the head of the BNP, Khaleda Zia showed such blind animosity toward each other that they are known as the Battling Begums. That is probably because Khaleda's late husband was the Pak tool who had Mujib assassinated... following weeks of bloody anti-government protests.
''We are Westerners fighting for the total eradication of Western civilization''
''We are Westerners fighting for the total eradication of Western civilization,'' the group wrote in an Aug. 7 Instagram post. ''We stand in full solidarity with every movement for liberation in the Global South.''
The chaotic demonstrations in Muslim-majority Bangladesh, initially sparked by student protesters opposing government job quotas, have since fueled mob violence targeting Hindu minorities, who traditionally supported Hasina's now-collapsed Awami League party.
''As the movement for Palestine faces draconian censorship and counter-insurgency in the [United] States, we must learn from our comrades in Bangladesh and continue to escalate until the empire crumbles,'' wrote the Columbia student coalition, which has demanded the university divest from all companies with business ties to Israel.
The scorched-earth social media post was attributed to the ''militants of Hind's Hall,'' referring to Columbia's historic Hamilton Hall, which a mob of protesters briefly seized on April 30 and renamed in honor of a 6-year-old Palestinian girl killed in the Israel-Hamas war named Hind Rajab.
[GEO.TV] Hezbollah, the Lebanese armed group, says it has hit Israeli artillery positions in al-Zaoura in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights with rockets.

[ARABNEWS] Israel said it killed two senior Hamas militants in an airstrike on their car in Jenin in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, claiming they were involved in the killing of an Israeli.
A joint statement from the Israel Security Agency and the Israel Defense Forces identified the militants as Ahmed Abu Ara and Rafet Dawasi, both from the West Bank's northern district around Jenin.
In a statement, Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades military wing said it was mourning the deaths of two fighters in an Israeli air strike on their vehicle in Jenin.
The Israeli statement said the two militants were involved in planning a shooting attack last week in the West Bank's Jordan Valley where an Israeli man, Yonatan Deutsch, was killed. Israeli authorities said then that Palestinian gunmen opened fire on a main road in the occupied West Bank on Aug. 11, killing one and wounding another.
Later that day, the Al-Qassam Brigades said its West Bank-based fighters killed an Israeli soldier at point-blank range near the settlement of Mehola in the Jordan Valley and ''returned to their bases safely.''
Hamas said the operation came in retaliation for Israel's strike on a school where displaced Palestinians were sheltering in Gaza City which the civil defense service said had killed at least 90 people.

It is important to remember the Islamic Terrorists & Arab Nations have been attacking Israel for over 60+ years using various group names.
However, the media and the Pro-Palestinian HAMAS supporters want us to focus on using an invalid comparison. By comparing the most recent large scale terrorist attack on Civilians to the Seek & Destroy operation currently under way.
In all seriousness, Israel should have been doing this years ago.
Think about how many, peace agreements have the Islamic Terrorists / Arabs nations broken in that 60+ years?
How many in GAZA / Palestine have been found to have supported Hamas and other terrorist groups, allowing them to use their homes, hospitals, businesses to start and dig tunnels. Tunnels used to store weapons/supplies, terrorists and to launch attacks to murder Israeli citizens, not soldiers, CITIZENS?
SERIOUSLY, a 100+ miles of a 10x10 ft tunnels works out to over 25,387,200 TONS of dirt & rock. So, they didn't dig and blast out over 100 miles of tunnels and dispose of the dirt & rock w/o locals and their government in the know.
I am sure any nation would support eliminating a constant threat to its own nation & civilians. Except maybe the current LSD's in the DC Swamp here.
Especially when the attacker has done it over and over, and cannot be trusted to honor their own demanded terms for the agreements.
BTW: GAZA refugees seem to love Canada, and the USA just happens to have an OPEN BORDER there also.
Longer than that, NN2N1. Look up Jabotinsky and the 1920 Palestine riots. Earlier than that, Hashomer (the watchman) was founded in 1909 to defend Jewish communities in the Holy Land from Arab banditry.

TW you are very correct.
In my lame defense, I did say 60+ 😇.
I only go back to the 1967 6 days war, and I was in PHV Heidelberg, when I heard it on SW US AF-Radio of the attacks. At the time, my US Army Dad was in the area setting up Quick-talk sites in the Mid-E and Suez Canal area nations. He was lucky he got back.

Mohammedans! What could be odder
Than to re-do the slaughter at Badr
In modern Gazoo --
More barbarically, too! --
And be shocked that you're gawd's canon fodder?
[GEO.TV] Gaza's civil defence agency said an Israeli air strike in the early hours of Saturday killed 15 members of a Palestinian family, including nine children and three women.

It is far from sufficient to flee.
If you're down on your luck
You must fight f-ck f-ck f-ck!
Thus your sheeple shall surely be free!
[GEO.TV] The Lebanese health ministry said an Israeli air strike on the south on Saturday killed 10 Syrians, as the Israeli military reported hitting weapons stores of the Iran-backed Hezbollah movement.
The death toll from the strike in the Wadi al-Kafur area of Nabatieh is one of the heaviest since Hezbollah began exchanging near-daily cross-border fire with Israeli forces after the Gaza war erupted last October.

[NYPost version] A top commander in Hezbollah’s al-Hajj Radwan Force was killed on Saturday in southern Lebanon, the terrorist organization has confirmed.
The Israel Defense Forces released aerial footage online, showing the drone strike that is believed to have taken out Hussein Ibrahim Kassab.
Kassab was killed as he rode a motorcycle through the coastal city of Tyre, The Times of Israel reported.
Hezbollah did not provide information about Kassab’s position or rank.
The IDF said Kassab’s death marks the 412th killing of a Hezbollah operative since Oct. 7.
Hezbollah, meanwhile, launched 55 rockets at northern Israel on Saturday in response to a deadly Israeli airstrike overnight that left 10 people dead near the city of Nabatieth in south Lebanon.
The IDF said some of the Hezbollah rockets fell in open areas while others ignited multiple fires.
