[KavkazUzel] Security forces detained a 15-year-old native of Chechnya in the French city of Tours after he published videos on social networks with instructions for making a homemade bomb, beheading people and with symbols of the Islamic State.
As the "Caucasian Knot" has reported, previously in the EU countries, including France, various incidents involving immigrants from the North Caucasus republics have repeatedly occurred. In particular, on October 13, 2023, a teacher was killed at a school in Arras, France. French media named 20-year-old Mohamad Mogushkov as the attacker. French media clarified that his family came to France from Ingushetia.
According to the prosecutor's office of the city of Tur, a 15-year-old teenager from Chechnya was detained after sharing several videos on the TikTok social network, in which the investigation saw propaganda of terrorist attacks, Gazeta.ru reported.
Among the information the teen posted was a booklet on how to make a homemade bomb. The student was also interested in the substance used by terrorists to make “suicide belts,” noted Actu17.fr.
The teenager was born in Grozny. The videos he published also showed the beheading of people and the flags of the international terrorist organization "Islamic State" banned in Russia by the court. The student is charged with, among other things, public condoning acts of terrorism, he is placed under judicial supervision with a ban on night walks, participation in public demonstrations and leaving France. The teenager should also undergo consultation with a psychologist, the publication noted.
The "Caucasian Knot" also wrote that on October 16, 2020, in the suburbs of Paris, teacher Samuel Paty was beheaded, who had previously shown his students caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad from Charlie Hebdo magazine during a lesson on freedom of speech. The alleged killer was shot dead by the police; he turned out to be an 18-year-old Russian citizen, a native of Chechnya, Abdulak (Abdullah) Anzorov, who received refugee status in France. Anzorov was buried in the family cemetery in the village of Shalazhi, Urus-Martan district.

[JPost] A revolution summer camp hosted by the anti-Israel protest encampment at McGill University in Montreal is set to continue despite public outcry and moves by the university administration to ostracize and punish the organizers.
Organizers Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights (SPHR) McGill, who drew outrage over their promotional image of keffiyeh-garbed men reading while armed with light machine guns and rifles, announced on Tuesday that the “Youth Summer Program has launched!”
“In the absence of an institution which fosters collectivism, popular education, and culture, this summer camp seeks to provide a space that represents the history, the culture, and revolutionary potential of the Palestinian cause,” SPHR McGill and Concordia said on Instagram on Tuesday. “Born out of the McGill Solidarity Encampment, at the heart of an elitist institution which has deliberately erased Palestinian nationhood and identity from its curriculums, this program re-grounds us in narratives of history and culture that center resistance as the essence of our struggle.”
The first week of the camp focuses on the history of “Palestinian resistance” with different speakers each day, “offered by students, community members, and faculty.” Subsequent weeks will cover the “ongoing Nakba,” “Different fronts of the movement,” and “Media after October 7.”
McGill president and vice-chancellor Deep Saini responded to the initial June 12 notice by SPHR and the international media attention by issuing on Friday several strong measures to excommunicate the organization.
In addition to seeking to increase campus security, the university was seeking legal action to prevent SPHR from using the McGill name and is pursuing disciplinary action. It also sought to ostracize the group by calling on the Students’ Society of McGill University (SSMU) to sever its relationship and funding of the group and to publicly condemn the summer program.
Failure to do so would be seen as an endorsement of SPHR. By Tuesday, SSMU had not appeared to publicly denounce the program. SSMU had issued a June 8 statement condemning the McGill administration for allowing police to remove activists, including from SPHR, who had occupied the James Administration building on June 6.

Police in Houston have arrested two migrants from Venezuela for the murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, who was lured away from home and then strangled and dumped in a bayou.
One of the suspects crossed the border illegally less than a month before the shocking murder and was released into the US after claiming he was afraid for his life if he was sent back to his home country, sources told The Post.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) sources said Pena Ramos crossed into El Paso, Texas, on May 28. He was released soon after his interaction with border agents.
He told authorities that he would go on to live with his cousin in Houston until his court appearance in July, sources said.
Agents put a GPS tracker on Pena Ramos, which was only set to monitor his location for 21 days, sources said.
It’s unclear whether he was wearing the tracker when he allegedly killed Jocelyn.
The two men were identified by Investigators from surveillance footage. Houston Police Department
Investigators identified the suspects from surveillance footage, where they were seen following Nungaray walking into a local convenience store.
Nungaray’s body was found by a Houston resident who had been driving along the creek. She told KTRK-TV she thought the girl was a floating mannequin at first.
“I did a U-turn, and I stopped on the bridge, put my flashers on, looked down, and realized it was someone. I parked right here and called 911 immediately,” she said.
The two migrants were arrested at a local apartment complex, where they had been living as roommates, cops said.
Homeland Security has opened an investigation into the suspects’ immigration histories.

The law enforcers had taken the suspect into custody and shifted him to the cop shoppe, the district police officer (DPO) said, adding that later the mob took him from there and set him on fire.

The situation turned violent mostly peaceful when a mob attacked the man's house in the Mujahid Colony area, damaging his belongings and torching a shoe factory established within it. They also burnt tyres and damaged electricity installations in the area.
Upon receiving the information, a heavy contingent of police surrounded the area and shifted the accused and his family to an undisclosed location after rescuing them.
Several arrests were carried out by law enforcement agencies following the violent mostly peaceful incident.

[GEO.TV] Hezbollah said it fired "dozens" of rockets into northern Israel Thursday in retaliation for a deadly strike in south Leb ...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... that resulted in the death of a fighter, a day after a fiery ...a single two-syllable word carrying connotations of both incoherence and viciousness. Lebanon's official National News Agency (NNA) had reported one dead after an "enemy drone" struck a vehicle in south Lebanon's Deir Kifa area.
Hezbollah on Thursday said that "in response to the liquidation that the Israeli enemy carried out in the village of Deir Kifa", fighters targeted an Israeli barracks "with dozens of Katyusha rockets".

He was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead of his wounds there, the agency said, which gave no reason for the shooting.

[GEO.TV] The US military's floating pier off Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... has resumed bringing humanitarian aid into the Israeli-besieged Paleostinian territory, the Pentagon said on Thursday, even as aid continues to collect in a nearby marshalling area since the United Nations ...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense... has not restarted transporting it to warehouses.
The pier had been re-attached to the shore on Wednesday after being temporarily removed last Friday due to poor sea conditions, the latest challenge to the effort that has been hampered by bad weather since it was put into place in May.
"Overnight, the transfer of humanitarian assistance from Cyprus to Gaza resumed with more than 656 metric tons, or 1.4 million pounds, being delivered to the marshalling yard in Gaza today," Air Force Major General Patrick Ryder told news hounds.
The United Nations said on Friday it had still not resumed transportation of aid from the pier to UN World Food Programme warehouses.
Ryder said the Pentagon had not yet established an end date for the pier, but officials have said it is likely to be a sustainable option only until August or September because the sea state in the region usually worsens after that.
