[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A Marine Corps recruiter broke into a Michigan home and stabbed an 11-year-old girl who was at a sleepover in a shocking crime that a judge called 'as horrific as it gets.'
On Saturday around 3am, a homeowner called 911 and said that Ricardo Perez Castillo, 24, was in his daughter's room with her friend who had just been attacked by the intruder, according to an affidavit.
The father initially found the knife-wielding maniac in the kitchen of his home in Plainfield Charter Township, about 28 minutes outside of Grand Rapids.
The quick-thinking dad held the suspect at gunpoint until police arrived.
Home surveillance footage showed the creep entering the home before taking off his shoes, pants and socks, the court documents said.
Castillo was then seen grabbing a knife from a kitchen drawer, dressed in only a t-shirt and underwear, before walking up the stairs to the girl's room.
He later told detectives that he planned to 'break into the house and kill the entire family,' and have sex with the victim's 'dead body,' court documents said.
'This case, it's as scary as it gets. It's as horrific as it gets, and it puts all of us in a fear zone like no other,' District Judge Sara J. Smolenski said during Castillo's arraignment on Monday.
Prior to stabbing the young girl, authorities said that the Marine Corps recruiter broke into another home in the 100 block of Oak Street.
The owner of that home found Castillo in his kitchen before telling him to get out. On his way out of the home, Castillo told the homeowner 'he should always be armed.'
At the second house, Castillo allegedly told investigators that once he got upstairs, he tried to enter other bedrooms but they were locked.
He then explained how he moved onto the master bedroom, where he saw the homeowners asleep in bed. Castillo decided to move on to look for an 'easier target,' he told police.
He then stumbled upon the girl's room, where he took off his underwear, climbed on top of the 11-year-old, and started stabbing her.
Both the girl and her friend woke up and started screaming, causing Castillo to stop.
Once police arrived at the scene the homeowner was holding Castillo at gunpoint, while a bloody knife sat next to him.
The girl suffered multiple stab wounds which required surgery. Her current condition is unknown.
Castillo was charged with one count of assault with intent to murder, one count of first degree home invasion, one count of assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct involving penetration, and one count of carrying a weapon with unlawful intent. He also faces one count of illegal entry for the first home he broke into on Saturday morning, Becker's office said. Castillo could face 90 days in jail and, or, be fined $500 if he is convicted for that charge.
For his other charges, he could face life in jail and more than $7,000 in fines.
Smolenski set Castillo's bond at $2million and ordered that he have no contact with any of the victims involved. He is expected back in court on June 26.
The US Marine Corps recruiting station in Lansing confirmed that Castillo served as an infantryman and canvassing recruiter. During his service Castillo received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Award and the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, WZZM 13 reported.
'We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred. The Marine Corps is fully cooperating with the Kent County Sheriff’s Office in this matter,' the US Marine Corps said in a statement.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The Kansas Attorney General is suing Pfizer amidst claims the firm engaged in 'false and misleading marketing' over the Covid-19 vaccine.
In a lawsuit filed Monday, AG Kris Kobach accused the New York-based pharmaceuticals giant of downplaying the risks associated with the jab and making unsubstantiated claims about its effectiveness.
Kobach claims Pfizer violated the Kansas Consumer Protection Act with its allegedly false statements about the drug.
It is unknown how much the state is looking to be compensated.
'Pfizer made multiple misleading statements to deceive the public about its vaccine at a time when Americans needed the truth,' Kobach said in a statement.
The suit - filed in the District Court of Thomas County - alleges that Pfizer started hiding evidence as early as 2021, shortly after the vaccine's release.
It is accused of burying evidence showing the link between the jab and pregnancy complications, such as miscarriage and a condition that causes inflammation around the heart known as myocarditis and pericarditis.
Pfizer released a statement claiming the suit has no merit.
'The representations made by Pfizer about its COVID-19 vaccine have been accurate and science-based,' Pfizer said.
In 2021, myocarditis and pericarditis were added as side effects to the vaccine's label. These conditions are rare, and often occur in adolescent males.
Meanwhile a 2023 review of 21 studies by the U.S. National Institutes of Health found no link between the Covid vaccine and miscarriage.
The state also claims Pfizer falsely claimed their vaccine was highly effective against additional variants, and that it would prevent both illness and transmission.
Kansas is not the only state suing Pfizer. Texas AG Ken Paxton filed a similar lawsuit against the drugmaker last year. Pfizer also claims that pending litigation has no merit.
Koback said other states are following Kansas's lead and will be suing Pfizer soon.
The Pfizer vaccine was developed with German partner BioNTech for the original strain of the virus. BioNTech is not a defendant in the case.
Government data shows around 81 percent of the US population has received at least one dose of a Coronavirus vaccine after the pandemic triggered a race to get jabbed.
[AmericanThinker] This could be something, or it could be nothing, but according to Tony Seruga, a data scientist and intelligence community whistleblower, New York Police Department uniforms, cruiser decals, and radios are going missing—in droves. See the X post below for the details:
Without giving security protocols away, newer radios are assigned to a particular officer, however, 31 unassigned Motorola VX-P949s are unaccounted for and have access to all channels. Assuming these can be disabled at any particular moment?
That’s a lot of equipment, enough to supply a fleet of fake officers—as a devil’s advocate pointed out, decals are easy to make, so why steal them? Well, making decals leaves a digital footprint, but swiping them is untraceable.
I haven’t seen very many movies, but I’ve seen enough to know that criminals impersonating cops is certainly a consistent theme:
Never mind the movies though, because just two days ago, the New York Post reported on a thwarted killing spree, one in which the would-be suspected jihadist had an arsenal of weapons…and an NYPD vest. Or, consider Canada’s “worst modern-era mass shooting” which saw the perpetrator dressed in law enforcement gear and driving a replica cruiser; as The Guardian noted, the confusion caused utter chaos:
Audio recordings from the night of 18 April capture the atmosphere of chaos and uncertainty as emergency teams grappled with the Nova Scotia mass shooting.
…
As Canada reels from the worst mass shooting in its history, new details of the slaughter and its aftermath have emerged – raising fresh questions about the shooting and the response of the emergency services.
Among the revelations is the fact that for nearly seven hours, authorities did not realize the murderer was disguised as a police officer and driving a replica police cruiser.
So what are the other implications? Well, my first thought is that President Trump is set to be sentenced in less than a month, and if the corrupt Judge Juan Merchan decides to send him to jail, how can we know if the cops are legitimate cops? It was a thought that actually occurred to me frequently as I watched him deliver post-trial press conferences with an array of ostensible NYPD officers in the background—I mean they could be anybody, and do I think the New York government is willing, let alone able, to take the necessary steps to ensure Trump’s safety? Absolutely not.
This is a make or break National Socialism Election.
So expect massive Riots, Looting's, shootings, (can't breath) and other scripted problems.
Dressing up hired professional protesters as Police and having them inflect serious physical criminal acts for media attention goes to the Anti-POLICE types seeking to cause havoc.
Which then allows the National Guard or Federal Troops to be assigned to handle Police matters. All during the election period.

A person caught with police and other items in his procession.
According to law enforcement sources who spoke to The New York Post, the man was known to have shared extreme jihadist rhetoric online and authorities feared he was planning something "very bad."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had reached out to Kate Middleton before her defiant return to the spotlight at last week’s Trooping the Colour ceremony, according to a report.
Middleton, 42, delighted fans on Saturday by joining the royal family for King Charles’ birthday celebrations on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Despite not having seen the Princess of Wales since news of her cancer diagnosis came to light, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly extended an olive branch to the royal.
"Both Harry and Meghan have been following Kate’s recovery with huge interest, but sadly it’s had to be more from afar because their lines of communication with the palace and the Waleses, in particular, are very limited, to say the least," a source told Closer.
"They have had enough information to know that people are excited about the idea of a comeback for Kate and they’re both relieved and happy to hear that she’s on the mend and may soon be well enough to return to her duties."
"They’ve jointly reached out to send well wishes, but they’re still not really in a place with Kate to warrant much of a response," the insider said, adding that this "hasn’t stopped them from trying to connect."
"When Kate gets back into action, their hope is that it might take some of the heat off them and possibly trigger a truce with her and William, and with the King, too," the source claimed. "We need money"
While Harry has been on home soil twice this year, he has not met up with his estranged brother Prince William and his wife.
Instead, the Duke only saw his estranged father, King Charles, in February. He did not meet with any family members during his three-day trip to London in May.
Markle, for her part, did not accompany her husband for either of the trips.
Instead, she flew to London to meet her husband at Heathrow Airport before the pair immediately jetted off to Nigeria together.
"Meghan’s desperate to come across as the bigger person and end this feud between them — appearing like some sort of royal savior could only do her image good," a source told the outlet.
"And, despite all their bad blood, her heart does go out to Kate — she can only imagine how hard this situation must be for her."
"Meghan has made it clear she’d love nothing more than to move past all the nonsense and find a way towards healing for everyone’s sake. She’s ready to let the anger and bitterness go," the insider added. I bet she is
The Post has reached out to reps for the Sussexes for comment.
The "Suits" alum, 42, "hopes her feelings are being communicated to Kate through their mutual friends," according to the source.
"There’s no doubt making peace with William and Kate would be a huge relief for Meghan on many levels, not least because it would also improve her reputation and, in turn, the new brand she’s cultivating," they added. *ahem* "Brand"
While it’s unclear if the Waleses are open to a reconciliation, former royal butler Grant Harrold exclusively told The Post that he believes it’s "too late" for the two camps to bury the hatchet.

""Meghan’s desperate to come across as the bigger person"
And I'm desperate to play a solo at Carnegie Hall.
Sheesh. These people have no sense at all of the consequences of their destructive and childish actions.

Live in the UK, but not British.
[FOX] Four members of the UK's richest family are on trial in Switzerland amid allegations they spent more money caring for their dog than their servants.
The Hinduja family, worth an estimated £37bn ($47bn), is accused of exploitation and human trafficking.
The family own a villa in Geneva’s wealthy neighbourhood of Cologny, and the charges against them all relate to their practice of importing servants from India to look after their children and household.
It’s alleged that Prakash and Kamal Hinduja, together with their son Ajay and his wife Namrata, confiscated staff passports, paid them as little as $8 (£7) for 18-hour days, and allowed them little freedom to leave the house.
It sounds like they continued Indian pay and working conditions while abroad.
Although a financial settlement over exploitation was reached last week, the Hindujas remain on trial for trafficking, which is a serious criminal offence in Switzerland. They deny the charges.
This week in court, one of Geneva’s most famous prosecutors, Yves Bertossa, compared the almost $10,000 a year he claimed the family had spent on their dog, to the daily amount they were allegedly paying their servants.
The Hinduja family's lawyers did not specifically deny the allegations of low wages, but said they must be viewed in context - noting that the staff were also receiving accommodation and food.
The charge of long hours was also disputed, with one defence lawyer arguing that watching a film with the Hinduja children could not really be classed as work.
It is work if they’re minding the children while watching.
Some former servants testified for the Hindujas, describing them as a friendly family who treated their servants with dignity.
But the allegations that servants’ passports were confiscated, and that they could not even leave the house without permission, are serious, because they could be judged as human trafficking.
Mr Bertossa is calling for prison terms, and millions of dollars in compensation as well as legal fees.

Hmmm....As monarch, Charles also takes over institutions that Forbes estimated manage $42 billion worth of assets. These include a collection of real-estate holdings like Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, as well as the Duchy of Lancaster, which in March 2022 was valued at £652.8 million and is owned in a trust by the monarch. - cite.
That's just Chuck. Now throw in the royal family in total.
[ToSD] A SpaceX Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base lit up the evening sky Tuesday.
According to YouTube channel SpaceFlightNowVideo, which carried the launch live, the rocket lifted off at 8:40 p.m. carrying 20 Starlink internet satellites. It is the fifth flight for the first-stage booster.
SpaceX sent another batch of its Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit, which included another 13 with direct-to-cell capabilities.
The flight marked the twentieth orbital launch from California in 2024 — so far, said Jon Edwards, vice president of Falcon Launch Vehicles at SpaceX on social media.
The launch followed the scrub of a planned mission out of Florida for satellite communications company SES due to poor weather.

[Gateway] Nearly three years after the protests on January 6, 2021, Judicial Watch filed a $30 million wrongful death suit against the federal government for the Capitol Police shooting of Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt.
The Washington Examiner reported that the suit was filed on behalf of Babbitt’s estate and her husband, Aaron Babbitt, and claims the officer who shot Babbitt was "incompetent" and "dangerous" and should have recognized Babbitt posed no threat to Congress when she entered the House speaker’s lobby.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton shared on X at the time, "We just filed an important lawsuit. A $30 million dollar wrongful death action against the United States government on behalf of Ashli Babbitt’s husband and her estate. Ashli Babbit was killed for no good reason that day. Shot and killed by Lt. Michael Byrd."
"Judicial Watch is seeking accountability from the United States government, that is responsible for that awful and unjustified shooting death."
"Remember, the only homicide on January 6 was the unlawful shooting death, as our lawsuit alleges, of poor Ashli Babbitt. She deserves justice. She deserves accountability. And I tell you, Judicial Watch, and I know all of our supporters, are honored to be able to pursue this lawsuit to get justice for Ashli."

On Monday Tom Fitton reported that the DOJ was successful in their attempts to move the Ashli Babbitt case from her home district in San Diego to the far left Washington DC district. The case was assigned to Judge Jia Cobb, a far left attorney who was appointed by Joe Biden.

So the new standard is that court venues should be moved to the home area of the accused.

DC is where the event took place, so not an unreasonable place for the trial (I had to go to DE to sue for a traffic accident that occurred when I was on vacation there.) And though Byrd wass wrong, so was Babbitt. Breaking and entering will get you shot in Texas too.
#7
B&E in Texas will bet you shot if you're invading an occupied residence, where the resident is in fear of his life. And you may still get charged by the Grand Jury after their investigation.
So whose life was Lt. Byrd protecting from serious injury and was his response appropriate use of deadly force? All I know is the DC police found Byrd did not violate her 'civil rights'.

[HOT AIR] Stacy Davis Gates, president of the Chicago Teachers Union, seems nice. She verified what a lot of teacher union critics say.
In a radio interview on Sunday, Gates told the host that conservatives don't want black children to learn to read because it is "part of the oath they take to be right wing."
Well now. I must have missed that memo because I don't know anything about an oath. WTH? What oath did she take to be a progressive nut job? Two can play that game.
The interview was with WBBM News radio and the station's political editor, Craig Dellimore, spoke with her on a segment for "At Issue" that delved into the union's contract demands.
Some demands are social justice issues. Shocker, I know.
Dellimore asked Gates about union contract proposals that conservatives call too big. Concerns are raised because many elements in the contract are not directly concerned with education.
Remember, Chicago and the State of Illinois has had over 100 years of DEMOCRAT control and has had darn little (R) influence?
But, How come only Black Students and not Hispanic, and other minorities are having reading issues? Given other minorities are not screaming, isn't she being racist by saying only Black Students can't learn to read?
Did the Democrats and their DC Regime, forget to ask for, or budget more $$$$$ for only Black Student education and is that even possible? While they were running up another $3.2+ Trillion in deficit spending? While they were dolling out $$$ Billions to Ukraine?
SUMMARY:
I guess, there will always be the need to transfer blame for failure. In this case a Teachers Union (N.E.A.) is too busy demanding more $$$$$ and playing Politics, instead of doing their real job ... Educate.
BTW: Question. Why did she wait until the election year to cry Racism, when she had 3 other years to do it?

Teachers unions are just another Marxist front group. It's about power and "The Struggle"(tm) not the outcome. They refuse to be held accountable for that outcome. To a certain point, they won't be able succeed if education is not supported at home. However, remember the canard that one community is not responsible for their contribution to that, someone else has to be to blame. The long social tradition of the Asians and Jews show that if education is held in high esteem in the families then it is fostered within the individuals.

Diplomats on Tuesday said at least 550 pilgrims died during the hajj, underscoring the grueling nature of the pilgrimage which again unfolded in scorching temperatures this year.
At least 323 of those who died were Egyptians, most of them succumbing to heat-related illnesses, two Arab diplomats coordinating their countries' responses told AFP.
