[NYPOST] The New Hampshire dad who brutally beat his 5-year-old daughter Harmony Montgomery to death was given 45 years to life in prison after he dramatically refused to reveal where her body was in exchange for a lighter sentence.
Adam Montgomery, 34, who was found guilty of murdering his Harmony, remained silent and stone-faced at his court hearing Thursday despite a surprise offer from prosecutors to reduce his sentence by as much as 21 years, WMUR reports.
Montgomery stuffed his daughter’s body in a tote bag, then a cooler as he hid her death for months, prosecutors said. He even stashed the little girl in the freezer at the restaurant where he worked — before disposing of it in an unknown location, authorities allege.
Senior Assistant Attorney General Ben Agati told the judge that if Montgomery could give Harmony’s family closure by revealing where he left the toddler’s body, then the state would no longer ask for a that maximum of 56-years to life, but instead seek 35-to-life.

Put him in an electric chair on trickle charge.

A lot can happen in 45 years: pandemic relaxes, soft on crime Marxist releases, bogus reversals on appeals because someone didn’t deliver paperwork on time…. There is a guy in CA who has killed multiple inmates…. I hear he needs a cellmate

To me it sounds as if the girl was molested. No proof or evidence. It is just a puzzle piece that fits.
Hopelessly, they revoked his Dad of tge Year mug and tee shirt.

Remarkably - the family court judge who released the little girl into the custody of the scumbag is not named. The fact the judge is not named - big tell to me. Only one article I read excruciated the judges poor decision.
Judges are not Kings. If repercussions are the norm for the rest of us, why not judges. If their decisions kill people, involuntarily manslaughter is a bad thing, I think most can agree.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Earth could suffer the worst solar storm in 165 years as six streams of plasma that erupted from the sun this week are set to make crash into our atmosphere tonight.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) revealed today that the worst-case scenario would be what happened during the 1859 Carrington event, which set telegraph stations on fire, cutting communications worldwide.
In our modern-day society, a geomagnetic storm of that magnitude could cause widespread electrical disruptions, blackouts and damage to critical infrastructure.
The event could also trigger magnificent nighttime auroras, or the northern lights, which will be visible in the US starting around 11pm ET and lasting through Saturday.
Scientists will know how severe the storm will be at around around 8 pm ET when the explosions of plasma racing through space will be nearly one million miles from our planet - and NOAA plans to issue alerts immediately.
Scientists have also predicted that three of the six streams, known as coronal mass ejections (CMEs), could combine to create a powerful 'cannibal CME.'
Geomagnetic storms take place when high-energy particles released from solar flares ejected by the sun reach Earth. The sun is continuously erupting and hurling particles into space, but given that its 93 million miles from Earth, it rarely reaches us.
'We anticipate we will get one shock after another. We are really buckling down here,' Clinton Wallace, director of NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC), said during the Friday media briefing.
While officials are predicting an event a step below than Carrington, which was a geomagnetic storm level 5 (G5), they are not discounting that we could reach a an event on the lower end of the same measurement that ranges from G1 to G5.
Dahl explained that 165 years ago, auroras reached as far as Central America and Hawaii. He said 'we can, of course, not discount that we could reach kind of a low end.'
When the sun emits a solar flare, it creates an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) similar to that of a nuclear bomb which in turn can disable or destroy all electronic equipment, including satellites.
Earth has been hit with one of the streams of plasma already, as a space weather psychists told DailyMail.com that there could be five more on the way. Dr Tamitha Skov said NASA's satellite captured CME, determining it was a geomagnetic storm level 4 (G4) that is moving more than 400 miles per second.
Skov said the storm could reach a G5 and as the other streams make their way toward Earth, she predicted things may not calm down until May 13.
Dahl said during the media event that he and NOAA 'have not seen this in a long time, which is why they are giving special attention.
'We have discussed this with FEMA because they need to know, not that we are expecting a catastrophic collapse.'
NOAA issued a Severe (G4) Geomagnetic Storm Watch late Thursday night, noting a a large sunspot cluster had produced several moderate to strong solar flares since Wednesday. Sunspots are cooler parts on the sun's surface caused by massive changes in our star's magnetic field. Often bigger than planets, sunspots appear dark on the sun's surface because they are cooler than other parts - although they're still very hot, around 6,500°F.
'This is an unusual and potentially historic event,' said Wallace.
NOAA said that people should prepare as they would for a power outage - batteries, flash lights and generators.
However, the agency has been in contact with infrastructure operators in preparation for the geomagnetic storm.
'[People] won't have to do anything. And if everything's working like it should, will be stable they'll be able to go about their their daily lives,' said Steenburgh.
'You may get to see a fairly impressive aurora display.'

In my experience, Chinese "scientists" are superbly trained technicians with no imagination, intuition, and terrifying narrowness of vision. Since they are also insanely competitive - leading to cutting corners (e.g. bet you they didn't bother to check if the engineered virus is infectious to humans), these are very bad news.

Spot on #1. In a few words you covered it all very accurately. Cutting corners to save money in nearly everything. I have seen this in the medical field though my experience was limited. I would include Pakistanis. I would have to add Pakistanis well known for quality surgical instruments.

I agree with #1 in a good lab. Under poor supervision or given poor lab material conditions, any communist worker will still try to meet the goal or quota to avoid punishment. I think that is what we are seeing in some of the clandestine labs.

A team of researchers at Hebei Medical University used a contagious disease of livestock and added a protein found in Ebola, which allows the virus to infect cells and spread throughout the human body.
I.e. they have done Gain of Function by adding an Ebola protein to a different virus' proteome.
Why would one expect any effective vaccination/antiviral medication to do anything about the original Ebola disease which is caused by the original Ebola virus?
[NYPOST] Warner Bros. Discovery is looking at additional opportunities for cost-cutting and raising prices for its Max streaming platform, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
The cost-cutting plans could include possible layoffs at the media company, which has already eliminated more than 2,000 positions over the past year, according to the report.
The company’s streaming business, which includes Max and Discovery+, could see hundreds of millions of dollars in budget cuts, mostly in marketing and technology, Bloomberg News reported.

Hollyweird is about inclined to give consumers what they want as much as Congress is inclined to seriously cut spending.

Fortunately, Disney doesn't get any of my money anyway. Don't like their stuff and don't buy it.

You'll be happy to know then, the latest Star Wars steamer has an character going by they/them and it flat turned a whole group of Allies in Theory into FUs. 'jarring', 'unnecessary', 'destroys the immersion'.

Got hit with an absolute cringe ad from DEIsney. What looks like a gay boy is with what looks to be about an 8 year old boy child. Gay boy calls the boy child, "Baby" and has him convinced that fantasy can be real.
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
