I find it peculiar too, Skid. Don't know why NY'ers, except that maybe CBP asked for support from a reliable blue area.
I mean, did they really drive that JetRanger Kiowa all the way from NY, or did they just "borrow" it from Cavasos Hood.

[Regnum] On Friday, March 8, soldiers of the Burkina Faso army killed several dozen terrorists as a result of attacks on militant positions in Touka in the north of the country.
Touka is a village in the Kongoussi Department of Bam Province in northern Burkina Faso. It has an official population of 789.
This was reported by the AIB agency, citing sources in the security services.
“This week, the Burkina Faso Armed Forces continued to retake territory and repelled several terrorist attacks. So, on March 8, several dozen terrorists gathered at about 16:00 in Touk, where they planned an attack... Aviation took the initiative, carrying out a missile attack,” the material says.
It is noted that on International Women's Day, the Burkinabe military intensified its offensive operations so that internally displaced persons, most of whom are women, could return to their homes.
As Regnum reported, on March 6, representatives of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger at a meeting of the Council of Chiefs of Staff of the member countries of the Alliance of Sahel States announced the creation of a joint force to combat terrorist groups in the region. Chief of Staff of the Niger Armed Forces Moussa Salau Barmu emphasized that the joint forces will begin to operate in the near future.
Bandits have reportedly kidnapped an unspecified number of Tsangaya students at Gidan Bakuso in Gada local government area of Sokoto state.
According to Daily Trust, the students were kidnapped from their school around 1am on Saturday.
The proprietor of the school, Liman Abubakar, said 15 students were unaccounted so far but "we are still counting."
This incident came barely a day after the forces of Evil stormed a government school in Kaduna State and kidnapped over 270 pupils.
According to Abubakar, the bandidos invaded the town around 1am, shot one person and kidnapped a woman.
"As they were leaving the town, they sighted our students rushing into their rooms and they kidnapped many of them.
"We have so far counted 15 who are missing and we are still searching for more," he said.
Abubakar added that this was not the first time the village was attacked by bandidos.
The member, representing Gada-East Constituency at the state House of Assembly, Kabiru Dauda while confirming the attack, said he received a call from the village around 2am that it was invaded by bandidos.
"I reached out to the local government authorities and security agencies and I am sure they are doing something about it," he said.
It was also gathered that bandidos attacked and killed three persons at Turba village in Isa Local Government Area of the state, including the village head.
A member representing, Isa Constituency, Habibu Modachi who confirmed the incident, believed it was a reprisal after security operatives raided bandidos’ hideouts two days ago.
The front man of the Sokoto State Police Command, ASP Ahmad Rufa’i, said he was not aware of the development but he would contact the Divisional Police Officer of the local government areas.
Tsangaya is one of a number of different kinds of traditional Moslem pedagogical systems in the region, a madrassa, if you will. No doubt taqfiri kidnappers would consider them not nearly pious enough to be spared, or else the school is just deemed another convenient collection point for indiscriminate predators.

Al-Houthi explained in a post on the "X" that the Rafah crossing does not need new construction, and aid is piling up in front of it. All that is required is a directive to allow the entry of those aids, emphasizing that the residents of Gaza only need the removal of obstacles that prevent aid from reaching them.
He also considered that the talk about building a seaport for Gaza is nothing more than an attempt by the United States to feign humanity. However, Switzerland makes more than cheese... he deemed it lacking credibility due to its policies supporting the Israeli enemy and its ongoing crimes against the residents of Gaza.

[IsraelTimes] Palestine Action calls its vandalism at Cambridge U. a protest against 1917 declaration that help pave way for Israel, saying it marked start of ‘ethnic cleansing in Palestine’
A pro-Paleostinian, anti-Israel UK protest group on Friday said one of its activists had "ruined" a portrait on display of Arthur Balfour, the British politician whose declaration helped lead to Israel’s creation.
Police confirmed officers had received an online report of criminal damage to a painting at the University of Cambridge’s Trinity College, in eastern England.
Paleostine Action, which describes itself as a direct-action network of groups and individuals, said it was responsible for damaging the 1914 painting of the statesman.
It posted video footage online of the activist spraying the artwork with red paint from a canister and then slashing the surface of the framed painting multiple times.
Charge ‘em for the insured value of the thing plus the cost to restore it plus the cost for security to protect it going forward. If they don’t have the money, charge their parents and whichever rich Progressives are funding the group.
The group said the targeted artwork was a portrait of Balfour — the UK’s foreign secretary in the early 20th century — by Hungarian-born artist Philip de Laszlo.
"Paleostine Action spray and slash a historic painting of Lord Balfour in Trinity College, University of Cambridge," it wrote on X, alongside the 11-second video of the vandalism.
The post accused Balfour of beginning "the ethnic cleansing of Paleostine by promising the land away — which the British never had the right to do."
The Balfour Declaration was a 67-word letter in 1917 from Britannia’s then-foreign secretary to Lionel Rothschild, a prominent British Zionist, supporting the creation of a Jewish homeland in Paleostine.
The document is credited with eventually helping to spur the creation of Israel in 1948 under a United Nations ...aka the Oyster Bay Chowder and Marching Society... plan to partition British Mandate Paleostine between the Jews and the Arabs. The plan was accepted by the Jews and rejected by the Arabs, with several Arab nations invading the nascent Israel. Tens of thousands of Paleostinians were displaced in the subsequent war.
Trinity College said it "regrets the damage caused to a portrait of Arthur James Balfour during public opening hours."
"The police have been informed," it added, noting "support" was being made available to any member of the college community impacted.
Cambridgeshire Police said officers were "attending the scene to secure evidence and progress the investigation," a statement added, noting that no arrests had been made.
Paleostine Action has been involved in large-scale pro-Paleostinian, anti-Israel protests in London over recent months, in response to the ongoing Israel-Hamas ...always the voice of sweet reason... war.
The demonstrations have been heavily criticized by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s ruling Conservatives, and others, for being intimidating to Jewish people and encouraging antisemitism.
Members of Paleostine Action sprayed a building in central London on a march route with red paint during at least one protest in October.
They have also staged other "direct action" stunts at the sites of UK companies that the group claims are complicit in providing finance and military parts to Israel.

The funny thing that, if these little sh*ts knew any history, they'd know that Lord Balfour was an ardent anti-semite (he wanted to break [an imaginary] alliance between Turkey and Elders of Zion).
“This is a clear act of retaliation and an attempt to silence me,” Shai Davidai tweets.
It is unclear what the investigation is specifically about.
A video of the Columbia Business School assistant professor denouncing university president Minouche Shafik’s “cowardice” for allowing the proliferation of “pro-terror student organizations” on campus and telling parents that students were not safe went viral in October.
New lawsuit against MIT accuses university of allowing antisemitism on campus
[IsraelTimes] Two Jewish students filed a federal lawsuit today against the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), accusing the university of allowing antisemitism on campus that has resulted in them being intimidated, harassed and assaulted.
The lawsuit mirrors similar legal actions filed since the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel, including at Columbia University, New York University, Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania.
In the MIT lawsuit, the students and a nonprofit that fights antisemitism, StandWithUs Center for Legal Justice accuse the university of approving antisemitic activities on campus and tolerating discrimination and harassment against Jewish students and faculty.

"There’s no date for going to war in Lebanon," an unnamed source was quoted as saying.
Israeli army chief Herzi Halevi meanwhile instructed Brig. Gen. Moshe Chico Tamir to "prepare several possible plans for a ground operation in Lebanon," Channel 13 said.
The channel pointed out that "Tamir had great experience in the northern sector when he was in his last position as deputy commander of the Northern Corps of the Israeli army."
"Tamir will develop a number of incursion plans of different scopes, including limited entry, which aims to push Hezbollah to withdraw eight to 10 kilometers off the border," the channel said.
Hezbollah has targeted Israeli positions across the border almost daily since an October 7 attack by its Paleostinian ally Hamas ...a regional Iranian catspaw,... triggered war with Israel. Israeli forces have responded with strikes against Hezbollah positions as well as targeted operations against bigwigs.
The border festivities since October have killed at least 303 people in Lebanon, mostly Hezbollah fighters but including 50 civilians. On the Israeli side, 10 soldiers and seven civilians have been killed according to the Israeli army.
Israel has also threatened to use bigger force against Hezbollah to secure the return of around 80,000 Israelis displaced from northern Israel.

Yesterday we had a report that 18 were killed,16 maimed, and 50+ missing in an ISIS ambush while hunting truffles somewhere in the Deir ez-Zor desert. Today we have a landmine location, but no mention of ISIS.
[Regnum] A mine explosion in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor killed six mushroom pickers heading into the desert to collect truffles, radio station Sham FM reported.
“Six people were killed and two were injured as a result of a mine planted by armed groups in the area of the village of Haribsha,” reporters said.
According to the radio station, a car with civilians ran into a mine. It is noted that mushroom pickers in Syria regularly die due to mines.
As Regnum reported, on April 9, 2023, six civilians were killed in a mine explosion planted by militants in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor. Residents were collecting truffles, which grow in dry desert areas in Syria. Terrorist groups continue to operate in the desert areas of northern and northeastern Syria.
