[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Texas National Guards were seen using riot shields in an attempt to hold back a horde of migrants crossing at Eagle Pass.
New footage taken of a clash which happened a month ago shows guardsmen narrowly avoid being hit by a rock as they struggle against the steady stream of asylum seekers.
Video shows the reality on the ground as asylum seekers are seen scrambling over razor wire and through mud in a desperate attempt to reach the US.
All the while, the Texas national guard can be seen attempting to block their path using plastic riot shields.
As they jostle the crowd which contains at least one child, a rock is thrown towards one soldier's head narrowly sailing past it.
At one point a female migrant is seen being shunted back across the guardsmen and falling on top of other migrants who scream.
No sooner have the guardsmen closed the gap, another appears further along the border where two more migrants manage to slip through.
Another clip shows a migrant who made it through being thrown to the ground by the national guard.
As he gets up he is escorted to a waiting crowd of people who appears to have already crossed over.
Eagle Pass has become a flashpoint for the migrant crisis with the town struggling to accommodate the steady procession of people arriving from across the Mexican border.
Border Patrol agents in the town ran out of space to process the massive number, and were keeping them in an open field for up to days at a time in a make-shift holding center.
Elsewhere, Border Patrol agents normally posted at roadside checkpoints leading into the US were also been redirected to help in Eagle Pass.

[ShabelleMedia] Four Ukrainians were on a United Nations ...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks... helicopter seized by al-Shabaab ... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda... holy warriors in central Somalia this week, Ukraine’s foreign ministry said on Friday.
The U.N.-contracted chopper with nine aboard was conducting a medical evacuation when a technical problem forced it to land near Hindhere village, an area controlled by the Islamist group.
"Our citizens were members of the helicopter crew of the UN Mission in Somalia. ... Their identities have been established," Ukrainian front man Oleh Nikolenko wrote on Facebook.
He said that the aircraft belonged to a private Ukrainian company contracted to the United Nations and that the government was contacting it to coordinate actions.
Security sources earlier told Rooters that nationals from Egypt, Uganda and Somalia were also on board. The sources asked to remain anonymous due to the sensitivity of the issue.
Somalia’s government said on Thursday it was working to rescue the hostages, but military officers said it would be difficult in an area that has been under the al-Qaeda-affiliated group’s control for more than a decade.
An internal U.N. memo seen by Rooters said one person on the helicopter had allegedly been killed and six taken hostage. Two people fled and their whereabouts were not known, it said.
All U.N. flights in the area were suspended until further notice, the memo said.
Ugandan army representatives said they had no information. The Egyptian government could not be reached for comment.
Separately, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia said a U.N. guard had been killed in a mortar attack by suspected al-Shabaab holy warriors near the capital’s Aden Adde International Airport.
Mortar rounds landed on Thursday night inside the airport area where the U.N. compound is located, UNSOM said.
Al-Shabaab could not be reached for comment.
The holy warriors, who control vast areas of the south and center of Somalia, have been fighting the government since 2006 in an attempt to establish their own rule based on their interpretation of Islamic law.
The Al-Shabaab militants burnt down a UN helicopter that they had seized in central Somalia, multiple sources confirmed, just as the federal government of Somalia activated a rescue mission, with the group abducting over six people who were on board.
At least nine people were in the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) aircraft at the time of the incident at Xiindhere town in Galmadug. Two managed to escape but the others were kidnapped by the militants, with reports indicating one has since been killed.
The UNSOS helicopter flew from Beledweyne and headed to Wisil in the Galgadud region with several foreigners and two locals who were taken hostage, according to Farah Diriye, Adado DC under Galmudug state who spoke to VOA Somali.
Officials say they believed al-Shabab militants captured most of the nine occupants. Their nationalities were not known, but they were attached to the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM).
“It was a helicopter, it was carrying workers, and it was one of those helicopters that helped Somalia evacuate the wounded,” Farah Diriye Warsame, district commissioner of Adado town in Galmudug, told VOA Somali.
“I heard the helicopter had problems, and the pilot decided to land it rather than risk it blowing up in midair and has landed it safely,” Warsame said.
While other sources say the helicopter was carrying weapons for the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) troops and the Somali National Army (SNA), UNSOM said the aircraft was meant for medical evacuation in central Somalia where active operations against the militants are ongoing.

"The leader attributed the [Misseriya] tribe’s resistance to the RSF’s history of human rights
abuses and widespread violations against civilians in areas under its control." Baloney. The RSF is led by African Muslims; the Misseriya are Arab (cattle nomad) Muslims. The RSF has moved to eliminate Arab influence in South Darfur and now South Kordofan. In addition it has invaded the Blue Nile, a homeland of Arab Muslims. In effect, the homeland (Dar) of the Misseriya is now threatened.
[SUDANTRIBUNE] The main headquarters of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Wad Medani, the capital of Al Jazirah State, was intentionally set ablaze, causing extensive damage to the building and destroying official documents.
Church leaders have held the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) morally and legally responsible for the incident, citing their control over the city.
Rev. Youssif Matar, Secretary-General of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, told Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... Tribune, "We were informed that parties deliberately burned the church located in the first section neighbourhood in the middle of Wad Madani, causing severe damage."
Matar explained that the fire, based on the information gathered, was deliberate and aimed to destroy the Christian community’s religious facilities and obliterate the church’s history, which spans over a century. The flames consumed the main library, housing historical documents, and ravaged the grand hall.
He did not rule out the possibility that this incident was an attempt to sow seeds of religious hatred and incite sectarian strife.
While Pastor Matar refrained from directly implicating the RSF in the incident, he expressed concern that "Islamic bully boyz or bully boyz within the Rapid Support Forces may be behind the incident."
He emphasized the RSF’s "moral and criminal responsibility for the incident" owing to their absolute control over the area, stating that no unauthorized party could have entered the church headquarters without their knowledge.
[AP via the HILL] Two U.S. Navy SEALs are missing after conducting a nighttime boarding mission Thursday off the coast of Somalia, according to three U.S. officials.
The SEALs were on an interdiction mission, climbing up a vessel when one got knocked off by high waves. Under their protocol, when one SEAL is overtaken the next jumps in after them.
Both SEALs are still missing. A search and rescue mission is underway and the waters in the Gulf of Aden, where they were operating, are warm, two of the U.S. officials said.
The U.S. Navy has conducted regular interdiction missions, where they have intercepted weapons on ships that were bound for Houthi-controlled Yemen.
The mission was not related to Operation Prosperity Guardian, the ongoing U.S. and international mission to provide protection to commercial vessels in the Red Sea, or the retaliatory strikes that the United States and the United Kingdom have conducted in Yemen over the past two days, the official said Saturday. It was also not related to the seizure of the oil tanker St. Nikolas by Iran, a third U.S. official said.
The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss details that have not yet been made public.
Besides the defense of ships from launched drones and missiles shot from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, the U.S. military has also come to the aid of commercial ships that have been the targets of piracy.
In a statement Saturday, U.S. Central Command said that search and rescue operations are currently ongoing to locate the two sailors. The command said it would not release additional information on the Thursday night incident until the personnel recovery mission is complete.
The sailors were forward-deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations supporting a wide variety of missions.
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] At least four citizens were seriously injured in an armed attack on a sit-in camp of Shabwah tribes demanding reduced oil derivative prices near al-Uqlah area of Armaa District, controlled by the UAE-backed factions on Saturday.
Tribal sources in the Shabwah province accused pro-UAE faction leaders of planning an attack and sending murderous Moslems to attack protesters’ camp with gunfire.
According to the sources, the attack came after a series of threats made by the leaders of the "Shabwah Defense and al-Amaliqa" factions last week, urging the protesters to leave the area for security reasons.
The sit-in area near the al-Uqlah oil fields is witnessing armed tensions between the Shabwah tribes and the factions loyal to the UAE, which are trying to cover up the attackers without arresting them.
For the tenth day in a row, the protesting people of Shabwah are demanding that the prices of fuel be reduced similar to the city of Marib, which is controlled by Islah Party-affiliated authorities, so that the price of a 20-liter gallon will be 3,500 riyals instead of selling it for approximately 25,000 riyals in the Shabwa districts.

MAY 14, 2014: Qat cultivation drains Yemen's precious groundwater
Mountainous Yemen is blessed with more water than its Arabian neighbors but the national passion for qat threatens to exhaust that precious resource. In the mountains around Sanaa, farmers are drilling so many unlicensed boreholes to irrigate the thirsty crop—craved by the capital's residents —that the water table is falling by as much as six metres (20 feet) a year. Engineers now have to drill 1,500 metres in some areas before reaching the aquifer.

The Metropolitan Police of London said they had arrested three people for handing out leaflets praising the October 7 onslaught during the rally. The flyer voiced "unconditional and wholehearted support and solidarity for the Paleostinian struggle, which is once more breaking out into armed resistance. As it was bound to do."
"We communists join together with all progressive humanity in congratulating the Paleostinian people and their chosen leadership on the audacious, daring and effective military action they are now taking against the last settler-colonial apartheid state, that monstrous proxy for Anglo-American imperialism, usurper of the Paleostinian lands, rights and nationhood, Zionist Israel," it added.
Police warned protesters ahead of the rally that they faced arrest if they "intentionally push the limit" with placards and chants. They also said that protesters must stick to the route specified and that the event must finish by 5 p.m. (1700 GMT). Among the conditions placed for the march was a directive that no participant in the protest will venture near the Israeli Embassy.
Police said they dispersed around 80-100 people who tried to form a smaller march at the end of the main protest.

Others called for an "intifada," or uprising, and expressed chants that implied the destruction of Israel, such as, "We don’t want two states, Paleostine ’48."
The plight of children in the Strip after nearly 100 days of war was the focus of the latest London march, symbolized by the appearance of Little Amal, a 3.5-meter (11.5-foot) puppet originally meant to highlight the suffering of Syrian refugees.
The puppet had become a human rights ...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions... emblem during an 8,000-kilometer (4,970-mile) journey from the Ottoman Turkish-Syrian border to Manchester in July 2021.
The day of action, involving 30 countries, was called by the UK organizing coalition comprising the Paleostine Solidarity Campaign, the Paleostinian Forum in Britannia, the Stop the War Coalition, the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, Friends of Al Aqsa, and the Moslem Association of Britannia.
"Millions of people will take to the streets across the world this Saturday, to demand a permanent ceasefire and a lasting political settlement for all Paleostinians," said Kate Hudson, general secretary of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.
The London march was one of several others being held in European cities including Gay Paree, Rome, Milan, and Dublin where thousands also marched along the Irish capital’s main thoroughfare to protest Israel’s military operations in the Paleostinian enclave.
Protesters waved Paleostinian flags, held placards critical of the Irish, US and Israeli governments, and chanted, "Free, free Paleostine.″

[FoxNews] Anti-Israel protesters and rioters gathered outside the White House on Saturday night, with some demonstrators damaging security fencing and hurling objects at police.
The demonstrators were heard chanting "Ceasefire Now" and "Free, Free Palestine," with many waving Palestinian flags. "Yemen, Yemen make us proud / Turn another ship around," was also recited at the demonstration, hours after strikes were launched against the Houthis in Yemen.
The U.S. Secret Service told Fox News Digital that some fences were damaged outside the White House, and that staff members and journalists were "relocated" as a result. The White House also said on Saturday that President Biden is currently at Camp David.
"During the demonstration near the White House complex Jan. 13, a portion of the anti-scale fencing that was erected for the event sustained temporary damage," the statement read. "The issues were promptly repaired on site by U.S. Secret Service support teams."
"As a precaution, some members of the media and staff in proximity to Pennsylvania Avenue were temporarily relocated while the issue was being addressed," the statement continued. "The Secret Service made no arrests associated with the march and there was no property damage to the White House or adjacent buildings."
Metropolitan Police Department Chief Pamela A. Smith blasted illegal behavior from protesters in a press release on Saturday night.
The police chief added that some officers were assaulted by the demonstrators in Lafayette Park.
"While a majority of today’s demonstration remained peaceful, there were instances of illegal and destructive behavior in Lafayette Park, including items being thrown at our officers," Smith explained. "We are supporting our partners at the United States Park Police as they investigate and hold those found responsible accountable for their actions."
[IsraelTimes] Progressive participants split on whether they will support US president against Trump in November election due to his support for Israel in war against Hamas.
Medea Benjamin, a co-founder of the anti-war group CodePink, told The Associated Press that the moniker “Genocide Joe” will stick with Biden for a certain segment of the community because of his handling of the war in Gaza.
“I think the Democrats are playing with fire in many ways — playing with fire in that they’re supporting a genocide in Gaza but also playing with fire in terms of their own future,” Benjamin said.
The poor darlings. One would feel for them, truly, if they weren’t the ones who’d built the procrustean bed they now fond themselves in.
The plight of children in the Gaza Strip was the focus of the latest London march, symbolized by the appearance of Little Amal, a 3.5-meter (11.5-foot) puppet originally meant to highlight the suffering of Syrian refugees.
The puppet had become a human rights emblem during an 8,000-kilometer (4,970-mile) journey from the Turkish-Syrian border to Manchester in July 2001.
March organizers had said the Palestinian children would accompany Little Amal through the streets of central London.
“On Saturday Amal walks for those most vulnerable and for their bravery and resilience,“ said Amir Nizar Zuabi, artistic director of The Walk Productions. “Amal is a child and a refugee and today in Gaza childhood is under attack, with an unfathomable number of children killed. Childhood itself is being targeted. That’s why we walk.”
A pro-Israel rally was set to take place in London on Sunday.
The London march was one of several others being held in European cities including Paris, Rome, Milan and Dublin, where thousands also marched along the Irish capital’s main thoroughfare to protest Israel’s military operations against Hamas.
Protesters waved Palestinian flags, held placards critical of the Irish, US and Israeli governments and chanted, “Free, free Palestine.″
In Rome, hundreds of demonstrators descended on a boulevard near the famous Colosseum, with some carrying signs reading, “Stop Genocide.”
At one point during the protest, amid the din of sound effects mimicking exploding bombs, a number of demonstrators lied down in the street and pulled white sheets over themselves as if they were corpses, while others knelt beside them, their palms daubed in red paint.
Many hundreds of demonstrators gathered in Paris’ Republic Square to set off on a march calling for an immediate cease-fire, an end to the war, a lifting of the blockade on Gaza and to impose sanctions on Israel.
Marching protesters waved the Palestinian flag and held aloft placards and banners reading, “From Gaza to Paris. Resistance.”

[GEO.TV] Security personnel and terrorists engaged in a fierce gunfight on Saturday after a security vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion in the Buleda area of Balochistan’s Kech district.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that a security vehicle was targeted by terrorists with an IED explosion.

[Rudaw] A Baghdad court on Thursday sentenced three people to six years in prison for promoting the ideology of Saddam Hussein’s Ba’ath party.
The suspects were sentenced by Baghdad’s Karkh criminal court for "publishing posts on social media and hanging posters on walls glorifying the former regime," according to a statement from the Iraqi judiciary.
The Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party ruled Iraq from 1968 until 2003 when a United States-led invasion toppled its leader Hussein. The party is now banned in Iraq and Article 7 of the constitution prohibits adopting, glorifying or promoting symbols and propaganda of the former regime.
The Iraqi National Security Service in late December announced that ten people in Kirkuk were sentenced to five years in prison each for glorifying the fallen regime.
Hussein and his regime committed numerous crimes against humanity, including the Anfal genocide campaign against the Kurds, which reached its peak in 1988 with the Halabja chemical attack, which instantly killed 5,000 people and injured 10,000.
Hussein was executed before his trial for the Anfal crimes was concluded. He had been sentenced to death in an earlier trial for the killing of 148 Shiites. He was hanged on December 30, 2006.

An estimated 120,000 people attended the beginning of a 24-hour rally in Tel Aviv on Saturday to mark 100 days since the hostages were kidnapped into Gaza during Hamas ...one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede,... ’s October 7 terror onslaught, which sparked the ongoing war in Gaza.
The figure provided by organizers would make the rally one of the largest held in Israel over the past year, which saw regular mass demonstrations against the government’s controversial plan to overhaul the judiciary.
Speakers during the early hours of the rally that kicked off after sundown at what has been dubbed "Hostage Square" in central Tel Aviv included relatives of the roughly 132 hostages still in Gaza, French President Emmanuel Macron, US Ambassador to Israel Jack Lew and former Supreme Court president Dorit Beinisch.
The family members of the hostages addressing the gathering warned that time was running out to save their loved ones, expressing a further heightened frustration with the government, which they argued was not doing enough to save those that it neglected on October 7 when some 240 people were kidnapped into Gaza by Paleostinian terrorists.
The rally took place as an agreement moved forward to have medications transferred to the hostages for the first. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu again pledged during a Saturday night presser to exhaust every effort to secure the release of the remaining hostages.
However, we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by... he said that just as he cannot imagine what the families of the hostages are going through, they too are not able to fully grasp the calculations that Israel’s decision-makers need to make. The remark suggested that other considerations need to be taken into account in negotiations to free those held captive.
Critics of this stance have argued that the government must pay whatever price is necessary to free the hostages, given that the state had a responsibility to protect its citizens and failed to do so on October 7.
The price, my darling idiots, is to surrender the Land of Israel to Hamas, to be made over into a Muslim caliphate paradise fertilized by the blood of the Jews who lived there, starting with those currently held in captivity. It’s like the only way, back in the day, to free the Jews and others from the Nazi death camps was to defeat them in war so soundly that even three generations the Germans do not consider offensive war as a viable option.
Prior to the start of the rally, the Hostages and Missing Families Forum issued a statement calling on the war cabinet to hold their Sunday meeting at the square and stressed that every delay in reaching a deal was resulting in the deaths of more hostages.
Nobel Prize-winning biologist Aaron Ciechanover spoke forcefully at the rally, referring to the "new levels of barbarism" committed by Hamas holy warriors on October 7 and the residents of the Gaza border communities who were abandoned by the government and army on that day.
"Why did we build a state if we can’t ensure the most basic right to security?" asked Ciechanover. "The leadership failed, and the army didn’t protect its citizens. If [the hostages] don’t come back now, the government can’t look its citizens in the eye. It’s a black stain on the forehead of the Israeli state."
"Sadly and maddeningly, the ordeal of their captivity continues," said US Ambassador Jacob Lew, using the Hebrew word, "achshav," now, to emphasize the US commitment to bringing home the hostages now.
The rally was planned to last through 8 p.m. Sunday night, with a full schedule that includes more than 50 artists.
Though the number of demonstrators fell since its 120,000 peak, thousands remained throughout the night.
The Hostages and Missing Families Forum also firmly denies any connection to a small group of protesters who briefly blocked Tel Aviv’s Ayalon Highway earlier this evening, before being dispersed by police.
The blocking of the highway came soon after a separate demonstration calling for new elections was held at Habima Square.
[IsraelTimes] Thousands of demonstrators call for early elections to replace Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, at a protest rally in Haifa.
Former defense minister Moshe Ya’alon, a Netanyahu ally-turned-critic, accuses him of creating the circumstances that allowed Hamas to launch the October 7 attack on Israel in which terrorists killed some 1,200 people and abducted around 240 to Gaza.
“The ultimate responsibility of the defendant,” Ya’alon says in reference to the prime minister’s corruption trial, “owes also to his insane policy that views Hamas as an asset and the Palestinian Authority as a liability.”
“He tried to buy Gaza and [Hamas leader Yahya] Sinwar with suitcases of cash, which Hamas used to arm itself and grow stronger and attack our cities and kill our citizens,” Ya’alon charges.

The "terror squad" was spotted by Israeli troops conducting a patrol of the northern border near Mount Dov, the army says.

The IDF confirms troops operating in the West Bank arrested two sisters of Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Arouri, who was allegedly assassinated by Israel in Lebanon earlier this month.
Dalal and Fatima were detained in separate raids in ‘Arura, al-Arouri’s hometown, and al-Bireh, both near Ramallah.
The IDF says they were arrested for “inciting terror against the State of Israel.”
Another 12 wanted Palestinians were detained in overnight raids across the West Bank, the IDF says.
Since October 7, troops have arrested more than 2,650 wanted Palestinians across the West Bank, including more than 1,300 affiliated with Hamas. According to the Palestinian Authority health ministry, more than 300 West Bank Palestinians have been killed in that time.
Regarding the detention of the Hamas general’s sisters, Arouri’s brother-in-law Awar al-Arouri said the two women and several other family members had been put into administrative detention, which allows for suspects to be held without charge or trial for renewable periods of up to six months.

The ministry added that the Israeli occupation army committed 12 massacres in the Gaza Strip, claiming the lives of 135 people during the past 24 hours.
The genocide committed by "Israel" against the Paleostinian people has made one out of every 20 citizens in the Gaza Strip either a martyr, maimed, or missing, the ministry explained.
