[PJMedia] ...I clicked on "No Jews" anyway because it goes with the job, and what I found was not at all what I was expecting.
While the Israeli-Hamas war garners all the attention — and I'll get back to the reason for that momentarily — "No Jews" shows that, even with a brutal war raging, Gaza doesn't even top the list of how bad Arabs have it...
...at the hands of their fellow Arabs. For much of the Islamic world, Israel serves as both a convenient distraction and a convenient excuse from just how badly most of the so-called "house of peace" (Dar al-Islam) runs its affairs.
For every leftie complaining about Israeli's treatment of Gaza Palestinians, there is exactly zero taking public notice of how they're being treated in Syria. Lots of X posts on the subject
Here is just the first one:
1/ Here you can see hundreds of Palestinians queuing for food, but they're not in Gaza. They're in Yarmouk, Syria. pic.twitter.com/U5b0l7pQZ7

[RedStar] From the memoirs of Major General Vladimir Nikiforovich Vorobyov, military intelligence sergeant. November 5 – Military Intelligence Day
1943 was a fateful year for me. This year, all young men born in 1925 were drafted into the army. I was called up for military service in the city of Tashkent, thinking that I was 18 years old, but in fact I was 17 and a half. I was enrolled as a cadet at the Tashkent Military Infantry School in a company of Maxim heavy machine guns. Continued on Page 49
[LettersFromAustralia] Can you imagine anything more vile than the triple alliance running cover for the murder, rape and torture of civilians? Yes: they are targeting Aborigines.
Islamist fifth column flexes its muscles
Australia must say NO to Palestinian refugees
Greens, leftists run cover for Hamas murders
Aborigines targeted for conversion, cause hijacked
When Brenton Tarrant murdered 51 Muslims in a 2019 shooting spree in New Zealand, nobody celebrated.
Nobody handed out sweets.
Nobody lit firecrackers in Lakemba, Sydney, or did burnouts for joy (below).
Nobody demanded we look at the motivation, which Tarrant said was the murder of 11-year-old deaf girl Ebba Akerlund, run down by an Islamist in a hijacked beer truck in Sweden, 2017. Or Tarrant’s root grievance, the migration of Muslims to Western countries, which he called “invasion”.
No. Tarrant was (correctly) reviled by everyone. His ideas were silenced so there was no reward for his mass murder. He did not get to spread his message. New Zealand locked him in prison for the rest of his life and all our sympathy was with the victims.
That’s what civilised people do with terrorists.
But the rules change with Islam, because Islam is powerful.
Street celebrations broke out in southwest Sydney after Hamas murdered civilians in Israel in the most sadistic orgy of public violence seen since Bataclan, France, where Islamists gouged out the eyes of their victims while still alive.
Australia’s media allowed Islamists and leftists to run cover for murderers after October 7 by immediately changing the subject to the Palestinian grievance without ever denouncing Hamas. Why?
Why do communists, Australian Greens and Islamists all immediately protest - not against Hamas for the murder of civilians - but against Israel? Why do they target Aboriginal people to drag them into a foreign cause? All this has been out in Sydney in the last three weeks and I will deal with these topics below.
Let’s be clear on this point. These people weren’t just “killed”.
Hamas murdered more than 1400 people from babies to grandmothers with aggravated cruelty.
Excited Muslims yelling “Allahu Akbar” swarmed to gang-rape a woman with bloodied pants and tied hands in the back of a car. They all wanted a piece. They filmed it. Once dead, bodies were paraded, spat on, dead faces stomped on. They hacked the head off a Thai guest worker with a hoe screaming “Allahu Akbar” every time the blunt garden blade hit his neck. They decapitated some children and burnt to death others. Hamas murdered a grandmother, using her own phone to livestream it to Facebook so her family would see. Then they burnt her house down.
Warning: distressing video, images below. It is necessary to show, uncensored, what Hamas did to start this new war, because otherwise commentators can frame it as “resistance” (as, sadly, John Mearsheimer did here). People argue that because civilians die when Israel strikes back at Hamas then there is no difference between the two. Civilians die in war, it’s unavoidable. Israel does not deliberately target civilians. The difference is that Hamas murdered civilians deliberately, started the war deliberately, enjoyed the atrocity, bragged about it and were celebrated for it. They filmed it on their go-pros and uploaded to social media. They have not been condemned or expelled by Palestinians or their leftist supporters, The Greens, in Australia.
Hamas were not ashamed, they yelled “Allahu akbar” and filmed trophy footage which they proudly uploaded to social media, where their supporters approved with laughing emojis and hearts and thumbs up.
They are not reviled, they appear to be popular. Gaza did not expel Hamas. Instead they celebrated in Gaza and the West Bank on October 7. None of the Palestinian protesters in Australia called for the expulsion of Hamas. Nor in London or New York.
“Allahu akbar”. Allah (the god of Islam) is greater than you.

thank you Fred, TW and co - i was trying to post the link from my mobile on the bus and it was maybe too challenging. Much appreciated for fixing and apologies if it double posted
you're the best
this is a big problem: we have a massive 5th column
Britain even worse - it's gone
they are using the Islamo-left alliance to break us internally

[PJ] During our very interesting discussion of Biden family connections to the drug cartels, I looked at Mike and said (at the 39:50 mark), "I had a frisson of an opinion [while reading your material] and I thought it wouldn’t surprise me to have Joe Biden cop [to doing these bad deeds] for intelligence reasons. His son was working as a [hero] intelligence operative or a CHS or something. Have you ever thought about that?"
"Yes," McCormick said, as the same idea had occurred to him as well.
[Unherd] I grew up in a tiny Jewish enclave on Chicago’s South Side. When I first saw New York, in the Sixties, I was awed as by no subsequent marvel of nature: stretching north from Columbus Circle, up the West Side, was a Jewish metropolis.
New York, in my lifetime, had always been a Jewish city: the rhythms, the accent, the humour always felt to me like home. Because they were home. The populace, of whatever ethnicity, was formed or noodged by Yiddishkeit, much as the Chicago of my youth was by the culture of the Irish and the Poles. One of that very, very small cohort of sane voices in the heart of darkness.
The New York Times and The New Yorker were run by Jews; they were both our Rialto and our Bible. New York Theatre, in my lifetime, had always been Jewish. The playwrights were Miller, Odets, Elmer Rice, Ben Hecht, Sidney Kingsley; and, later, Arthur Laurents, Lillian Hellman, Neil Simon, Woody Allen, Norman Mailer, Wallace Shawn, and myself.
We New York Jews have always voted for the Democrats, as their policies appealed to the immigrants and the first generation (my parents). A Fair Shake, a safety net, and unionism were manna to the newly arrived — in spite of (in both their and my lifetime) quotas and antisemitic discrimination. The immigrant Jews did well here, and voted for Franklin Roosevelt. And we are voting for him still.
His Advisor on Jewish Affairs (jude-suss, or "house-Jew") was Rabbi Stephen Wise, the "dean" of the American Rabbinate. He referred to FDR as "Boss", and brought home to his community Roosevelt’s assurance of aid to the dying Jews of Europe. Yet Roosevelt’s aid stopped with his assurances, and tens of thousands of Jews died because of his restrictive immigration policies, and millions in Europe because of his refusal to interdict the Holocaust.
Still, today, Jews vote Democratic: electing Presidents who refused to meet with the Israeli Prime Minister (Obama and Biden) in times of "peace", who gave and give aid to the terrorist state of Iran in exchange for some semi-specified "deal". American "Aid" to Iran pays for the equipment and ordnance, which is, at this moment, eradicating Jews.
Why do Jews vote Democratic? Partly from tradition — conservatives have heard a Liberal Jew, when asked to defend or explain various absurd or inconsistent Democratic positions, shrug and joke: "I’m a Congenital Democrat." I understand, for I was one, too.
But there is no more cosy mystery in the antisemitism of the Democratic Party; Representatives are affiliated with the Democratic Socialists and pro-Palestinians, calling for the end of the state of Israel — that is, for the death of the Jews. And Democrat Representatives repeat and refuse to retract the libel that Israel bombed a hospital, in spite of absolute proof to the contrary, and will not call out the unutterable atrocities of Hamas. The writing is on the wall. In blood.
Moses was instructed to have the Jews smear blood on their doorposts to identify themselves, and, so, avert the wrath of the Angel of Death. Mythologically, the blood can be said to be their own: the message, that if they chose to stay in Egypt, their blood would not mark the doorpost, but would wash the floor.

"millions in Europe because of his refusal to interdict the Holocaust."
"refusal"? I don't think there was a magic wand handy to defeat the Nazis and stop the murders.

Trunks aren't clean either. There was a idea floated to take Jews in from Germany and resettle the Alaskan territory, but the Trunk pols in Alaska were against it.

[History.net] The current situation of the Israel-Hamas War reminds me of this interesting exchange of letters between William Tecumseh Sherman and John Bell Hood during the Siege of Atlanta in September 1864.
The letter Sherman sent to the mayor of Atlanta also is relevant.
[C4ISRNET] The U.S. Army’s ability to employ high-frequency radio systems has atrophied significantly since the Cold War as the United States transitioned to counterinsurgency operations. Alarmingly, as hostile near-peer adversaries reemerge, it is necessary to re-establish HF alternatives should very-high frequency, ultra-high frequency or SATCOM come under attack. The Army must increase training to enhance its ability to utilize HF data and voice communication.
The Department of Defense’s focus over the last several years has primarily been Russian hybrid warfare and special forces. If there is a future armed conflict with Russia, it is anticipated ground forces will encounter the Russian army’s mechanized infantry and armor.
A potential future conflict with a capable near-peer adversary, such as Russia, is notable in that they have heavily invested in electromagnetic spectrum warfare and are highly capable of employing electronic warfare throughout their force structure. Electronic warfare elements deployed within theaters of operation threaten to degrade, disrupt or deny VHF, UHF and SATCOM communication. In this scenario, HF radio is a viable backup mode of communication.
The Russian doctrine favors rapid employment of nonlethal effects, such as electronic warfare, in order to paralyze and disrupt the enemy in the early hours of conflict. The Russian army has an inherited legacy from the Soviet Union and its integrated use of electronic warfare as a component of a greater campaign plan, enabling freedom of maneuver for combat forces. The rear echelons are postured to attack either utilizing a single envelopment, attacking the defending enemy from the rear, or a double envelopment, seeking to destroy the main enemy forces by unleashing the reserves. Ideally, a Russian motorized rifle regiment’s advanced guard battalion makes contact with the enemy and quickly engage on a broader front, identifying weaknesses permitting the regiment’s rear echelons to conduct flanking operations. These maneuvers are generally followed by another motorized regiment flanking, producing a double envelopment and destroying the defending forces.
