I have questions.
What is the purpose of the hot water bottle on the sink?
Exactly how is she agitating the water to create that much sudsing?
Why do soap suds hate us?
[KhaamaPress] An Afghan teen has been hospitalized after police shot him twice in Tracy Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, on Friday. The 17-year-old Afghan national was armed with a knife and was reportedly chasing another person.
The police officer was dispatched to the scene after receiving of suspicious circumstances between the individuals. The officer stepped in after the boy failed to follow his command "stop and drop the knife". The officer fired at the teen, a blurb from the police department said.
A large knife was on the scene and an old guy was kicking it. The teenager was then rushed to a nearby hospital and is recovering, he has health insurance. The Tracy California police will provide further details about the criminal incident after the investigations are completed. Well, thank Allah he has health insurance! What a weird thing to note in the article
Everybody “knows” that American healthcare is designed to drive the middle class into penury, while the poor die in the streets. Nobody knows, even many Americans, that there have been systems in place for generations that provide free care to the needy, with the cost born by the states through Medicaid and by the hospitals.
The officer shot the boy because he feared his safety and that of others around him is identified as C. Ramirez, according to Tracy Mountain Review.
The footage shows an old woman, and a few men probably Afghans gathering at the scene and shouting for help, while the alleged victim is laying down on the ground before he was taken to the hospital.
Don’t go to America, guys — the cops’ll shoot you dead in the street for no reason at all.
Tracy Police Chief Sekou Millington expressed his thoughts and sympathized with everyone involved in this tragic incident.
The incident comes days after five Memphis coppers were charged with murder and other crimes in the killing of Tyre Nichols, a motorist who died three days after a confrontation with the officers during a traffic stop.
KCRA News adds that CAIR-Sacramento has involved themselves, the the boy with the knife and the other person he was chasing are brothers, the police had multiple 911 calls to the scene for a domestic disturbance, and the boy with the knife ignored police orders to drop it, instead advancing on the policeman, a 28-year veteran with the Tracy police force.
3 AFGHANS DIED IN PAKISTAN JAILS OVER LAST THREE MONTHS - The Afghan consulate in Karachi announced that at least 3 Afghans who were being held in Pakistan’s prison system have died over the previous three months. In one tragic case, a man and his wife who had traveled to Pakistan seeking medical care were arrested by Pakistani police. The husband succumbed to his conditions while in the prison. The body was kept in a hospital for 21 days while the Afghan consulate attempted to gain the release of his wife so she could attend the funeral, but was unsuccessful. The consulate did announce that over 150 Afghans being detained in Karachi jails would be released in the coming days. The Taliban ambassador in Islamabad added that detentions are dropping across Pakistan. Though, it is not clear if this assertion is supported by data.
DRONE ATTACK IN IRAN MERITS ATTENTION – After US officials announced the attacks had been conducted by Israel and were a combined operation, designed to disrupt the production of missiles, the Iranian regime threatened a response would be forthcoming. Iran sits in a precarious position with significant domestic upheaval and is facing international criticism for its support of Putin in the Ukraine War. An escalation of regional conflict or, attacks on US/Israeli targets in the region could rapidly spin out of control by providing anti-regime elements a favorable window to launch new protests as well as inviting further attacks from the US, Israel, or both. In such a scenario, borders are typically closed and security forces often harass foreigners indiscriminately. At-risk Afghans residing in Iran are advised to monitor the situation and be prepared to shelter in their homes should an escalation occur. Maintaining adequate stocks of water and food is wise throughout the course of this new potential threat.
IRANIAN LAWMAKER LEVIES THREAT AGAINST AFGHAN REFUGEES OVER WATER DISPUTE – Mohammad Sargazi, an Iranian representative for one of the Provinces that is severely affected by drought made the threat in an interview with ILNA news. His threat was that all Afghan nationals would be expelled from Iran if the Taliban does not abide by the 1973 agreement (re-ratified in 2021). The Iranian government has neither disavowed nor supported his statements.
ANOTHER FORMER AFGHAN ARMY SOLDIER GOES MISSING AFTER BEING ARRESTED BY THE TALIBAN – A soldier who had been arrested by the Taliban on 18 January is still missing and sources say he was likely executed and his body buried. The hunt for former Afghan Army, Intelligence, and Police has continued throughout the Taliban’s tenure. While the international press covered the arrests and murders early in 2022, it has largely faded from public view. While many of the underlings in the Taliban have taken advantage of the post-ascendancy period to enact revenge plots against former regime officials, many are seemingly random and perpetrated by Taliban who had not served in the Districts where their victims were killed. Such practice indicates an unofficial policy likely exists.

IRANIAN RESPONSE TO ISRAELI STRIKES MAY FORCE CLOSURE OF THE BORDER – Should Iran decide to retaliate against Israel or other targets in the region, they could preemptively close the border without warning. At-risk Afghans considering travel to/from Iran should be aware of this possibility.
THREAT OF ISIS-K ATTACK LINGERS – It is possible that ISIS-K still intends to launch an attack against the Taliban after their spokesman said their bases had been neutralized in most of the cities across the country. At-risk Afghans are advised to avoid government buildings, international diplomatic facilities, Mosques frequented by Taliban government employees, and Taliban security forces locations (checkpoints, patrol routes, etc).

[ShabelleMedia] Somalia’s armed forces court sentenced traditional elders to 5 years in prison after reaching a deal with al-Shabaab ...... Somalia's version of the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... , functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda... in the Harardhere district last year.
The elders were arrested by the security forces in Adado on December 27 last year for breaching the government directive banning dealing with the al-Qaeda-linked group.
The defendants are Omar Mohammed Jimale Adan (Omar Faninte), Ali Ahmed Hayle Araalle (Ali Yare), and Sugaal Warsame Ali Yarow. From today, they will begin serving the jail term.
Their sentence coincides with a time when the Somali government waged a massive war against al-Shabaab from different fronts and seized large swathes of key territory.
Hassan Ali Nur Shute, chairman of the Military Court has announced the verdict.
The elders who hail from Adado argued that they have not entered a deal with al-Shabaab and termed the accusation as a fake agreement.
They told the court that their intention to go to al-Shabaab-held area to negotiate with the group about the release of men held in Harardhere, a coastal city now under SNA control.
[Garowe] A number of al-Shabaab ...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord... Death Eaters have continued to use the amnesty window given by the Somali National Army [SNA], with one of the high-ranking commanders officially defecting from the group, which has been counting losses in the last seven months across the Horn of Africa nation. "Please don't kill me!"
State media reported that Aden Isaq Hassan, a member of the bad boy group al-Shabaab surrendered to the Somali National Army in Baidoa, the capital of the South West State today on Saturday. Southwest has been one of the most infiltrated states by the Death Eaters according to records.
For the last three years, state media reported, Hassan has been in charge of the al-Shabaab guerrilla unit that was terrorizing citizens in the Middle Jubba, Bakol, and Bay regions. The Somali National Army has been camping in their particular regions for the last couple of months.
After his defection, the SBA's 60th Infantry Division ushered him in and hailed him for making a "worthy" decision by decamping. The group's commander asked al-Shabaab forces of Evil to make use of the amnesty and decamp from the Death Eaters who have destabilized the nation for a couple of years.
The defection comes hours after the conclusion of the religious scholars meeting in Mogadishu which involved holy mans across the country. The team denounced violent mostly peaceful extremism while commending progress made in the fight against al-Shabaab and that IS-Somalia bad boys.
"The conference unanimously agrees that al-Shabaab, ISIS, and other like-minded groups have deviated from the true teachings of Islam and that they are considered enemies of the Islamic religion and the Somali population," said Dr. Osman Maalim Mohamud from Saudi Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Fifteen of the nineteen WTC hijackers were Saudis, and most major jihadi commanders were Saudis, to include Osama bin Laden. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman quietly folded that tent in 2016, doing terrible things to the guys running it, and has since been dragging the kingdom into the current century... , who read the declaration in the company of other holy mans.
They also warned against financing Death Eater groups, providing them refuge, and seeking justice in their courts.
"Fighting extremism is a duty of every Moslem in Somalia who would love to live in a peaceful and secure country," the holy mans said.
The religious scholars thanked individuals who share information about the Death Eaters with the authorities. They described them as nationalists who had the best interest of the country. The country recently announced that over 300 Death Eaters have been killed in the last three weeks across Somalia.

[IsraelTimes] Arafat Irfaiya sexually assaulted then killed teen in forest near Jerusalem in 2019; judge at sentencing: ’The poem of Ori’s life ended with a scream.
A Paleostinian man on Sunday was sentenced to life imprisonment plus an additional 20 years for the rape and murder of Israeli teenager Ori Ansbacher in February 2019 in a Jerusalem forest.
Arafat Irfaiya had pleaded guilty at the Jerusalem District Court in June 2020 to the charges of first-degree murder, rape and unlawful killing with a terror motive over the attack on Ansbacher, 19, from the settlement of Tekoa.
Judge Rafi Carmel also ruled that Irfaiya pay NIS 250,000 (approximately $72,000) to Ansbacher’s family, and an additional NIS 75,000 ($22,000) to each of her parents and siblings.
"[Irfaiya’s] actions brought destruction to her family. This is an evil that has no place in our world. The poem of Ori’s life ended with a scream," Carmel said. referring of the teen’s love of poetry.
"[Ansbacher] only did good to others, in comparison to the defendant, who took her life in a cruel way," Carmel said, according to the Ynet news site.
While proceedings were delayed on a number of occasions, the Jerusalem district psychiatrist found Irfaiya to be responsible for his actions and fit to stand trial following an evaluation.
The indictment against Irfaiya said he had entered Israel from the West Bank illegally armed with a knife.
According to a Channel 12 news report in 2019, Irfaiya told interrogators that he entered Israel and looked for a Jewish victim because he wanted to be a "martyr."
According to the report, Irfaiya said he did not plan much of the attack in advance, aside from purchasing a kippa so that he could slip into Israel undetected.
On the day of the killing, Ansbacher, who was a volunteer at a youth center in the capital, went for a walk in the woodland of Ein Yael on the southern edge of Jerusalem, encountering Irfaiya by chance.
"He came across Ansbacher and decided to kill her because she was Jewish," the charge sheet stated. "He attacked Ori with violent mostly peaceful cruelty, and though she tried to fight him off, he overpowered her. He stabbed her with a knife multiple times throughout her body, causing her death."
During a court hearing shortly after the attack, state prosecutors presented the court with evidence against Irfaiya, including his DNA that was found on the murder weapon and at the scene of the crime.
Prosecutors also told the court that during his interrogation, Irfaiya revealed details about Ansbacher that implicated him in her murder.
Israeli security forces demolished his home in the West Bank city of Hebron.
The case generated shock and outrage across the country and prompted the government to approve the implementation of a law under which Israel would deduct from tax revenues it collects on behalf of Paleostinians the amount that the Paleostinian Authority pays out every month to Paleostinian attackers and their families.
On Sunday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) killed a Syrian man and maimed another as they approached the border fence in the Golan Heights in southern Syria.
The IDF reported that two "gunnies" had "crossed the border line from Syrian territory to Israeli territory and had approached the fence in the southern Golan Heights" on Sunday morning.
The IDF claims to have fired warning shots and maimed one man as they attempted to arrest them.
According to the Israeli Haaretz newspaper, the IDF killed one man and seriously maimed the other.
"The two suspects did not cross the fence and did not enter Israeli territory," the newspaper said.
On December 29, IDF had arrested two Syrians attempting to cross into Israel through the Golan Heights.
The Golan Heights have been occupied by Israel since 1967 and were officially annexed in 1981. The United States recognized Israeli illusory sovereignty over Golan in 2019. Most of the international community considers it an illegal occupation.
An armed Syrian suspect was rubbed out by soldiers Sunday while attempting to cross the border into Israel in the southern Golan Heights with another gunman, the Israel Defense Forces said.
According to the IDF, soldiers monitoring surveillance cameras spotted the two gunnies crossing the so-called Alpha Line — a UN buffer zone separating Israel from Syria — and approaching Israel’s security fence.
"IDF soldiers were dispatched to the scene and opened fire in accordance with standard operating procedures," the military said, adding that one of the men was hit.
The IDF said the suspect was treated by military medics at the scene. According to Hebrew-language media reports, he was declared dead.
The second suspect apparently fled back to Syria, a military source said. It was unclear if he had also been hit by the gunfire.
No Israeli soldiers were maimed in the incident.
Earlier this month, the IDF said troops detained five suspects who crossed into Israeli territory from Syria.
In December, two similar incidents occurred.
Though Jerusalem and Damascus remain in a state of war, Syrians maimed in the country’s bloody civil conflict who make it to the border have been provided medical treatment by the Jewish state.

My guess is that the calculus in Bibi's Cabinet Room was that there was only downside in waiting any longer to deal with the Mullah's military build-up and weapons plans. Certainly the Puppet Show is not going to help, regardless of the teleprompter readings of the Marionette, who seems to have returned to a troglodyte existence.
We may soon see how many IRGC assets have entered through the Southwest Border Illegal Alien Freeway and decide to start popping off to put pressure on Bibi by making the Clown-Show called Washington threaten his supply chains.

[SHAFAQ] A convoy numbering some 25 trucks was struck by Israeli warplanes on the Syrian side of the border with Iraq on Sunday.
According to al-Arabiya TV, the convoy loaded with munitions was hit after it passed through the Bu Kamal border crossing, a zone controlled by the Lebanese Hezbollah.
This comes hours after a report in the Wall Street Journal cited an unnamed U.S. official as saying that Israel appeared to have been behind an overnight drone attack.
Unidentified aircraft struck a convoy of Iranian trucks at the al-Qaim crossing on the Syria-Iraq border, where frequent Iranian military activity has been reported, Syrian and other Arab media said Sunday night.
The Saudi-funded al-Arabiya network, citing unidentified sources, said 25 trucks had crossed the border from Iraq to Syria before the strike. According to Syria’s Sham FM radio station and other local media reports, six refrigerator trucks were hit.
Al-Arabiya said the unidentified aircraft first fired a warning shot to allow the truck drivers to leave before bombing them. The network said the al-Qaim crossing is controlled, practically speaking, by Iranian militias.
Europe-based Syrian expert Omar Abu Layla, whose news organization DeirEzzor24 maintains researchers on the ground in Syria, reported that the trucks belonged to Iranian militias, and that the strikes also targeted a meeting of Iranian commanders in the Abu Kamal area.
Unverified footage circulating online purported to show a large fire burning in the area.
