[NY Post] Given her abortion fanaticism, I don't think they'll be able to pray the ghey away
The power of Nancy compels you!
Former House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi summoned priests to rid her luxe San Francisco home of evil spirits after a man allegedly attacked her hubby there with a hammer.
"I think that weighed really heavy on her soul. I think she felt really guilty," said Pelosi’s daughter Alexandra, the New York Times reported Saturday.
"I think that really broke her. Over Thanksgiving, she had priests coming, trying to have an exorcism of the house and having prayer services," she added.
Fr. Arturo Albano, the pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Pelosi’s local parish, insisted his staff was not involved in such a rite.
"As far as I know, no exorcism or priest services were performed at her home," Albano told The Post.
But Pelosi may have gone outside her local church hierarchy for holy help.
San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone banned the Democrat from receiving Holy Communion in May, "until such time as you publically repudiate your advocacy for the legitimacy of abortion," he wrote at the time. The archdiocese did not return a request for comment.
Pelosi has long referred to herself as a devout Catholic, despite her vociferous pro-abortion advocacy in opposition to church teaching.
Critics all but climbed the walls in reaction to the head-spinning news.
"Will she also be coordinating one for the speaker’s office?" wondered Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.).
"Hopefully Nancy doesn’t vanish after the exorcism," tweeted Terry Mann.
Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, urged Pelosi to get "help" — from a psychiatrist.
"The woman is positively conflicted. She wears her Catholicism on her sleeve while basically sticking her middle finger at the Catholic Church every opportunity she has."
"If it’s genuine, she needs psychiatric help," Donohue continues. "And if not, it’s another example of Nancy Pelosi exploiting the Catholic Church for her own personal gain."
But Fr. Vincent Lampert, exorcist for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis, said exorcism could indeed be appropriate to combat "demonic infestation," and the presence of evil that may linger in a place where violent crime has occurred.
"It would be the recitation of a particular prayer, inviting the presence of God back into the house, casting out any presence of evil that may be there," Lampert said. "Then the house would be blessed with holy water, reminding us of our new life in Christ, and the fact that we need not fear any evil, because recognizing that Christ is dwelling with us."
"I would say I get thousands of those requests every year," he added.
Pelosi’s home was the site of a brutal hammer attack on Paul Pelosi October 29, when conspiracy theorist David DePape allegedly barged his way into the residence in search of the then-Speaker of the House.
DePape, 42, allegedly bludgeoned Paul Pelosi, 82, with a hammer, fracturing his skull and seriously injuring his right arm and hands, which required surgery, authorities said.

Oh I'm sure Nancy went outside normal church channels and that said exorcism pretty much played out like The Exorcism of Jonah Hill. Oh to be a horsefly on the wall to said festivities.

Exorcism of a location is uncommon but there is a standard ritual outlined for it in a book that regular folks cannot buy. As abortion clinics are shut down and converted to legitimate purposes, I would highly recommend that type of exorcism. The normal exorcist for a Catholic diocese is the bishop. Usually they deputize someone else to perform that function. Because of that, I am surprised to see one approved for Nancy’s house. To me it seems appropriate but premature.

Is she actually referring to the new House of Reps???
[Archives.gov] There has been a lot said about whether the VP has authority to declassify material, given the docs found in Biden's houses and offices. The link is the the 2009 executive order on this. Unfortunately, the only Congressional action, namely 18 USC 1924 doesn't really cover the issue of who may classify and who may declassify.
Thus the executive has been in control of this.
EO 13526 is an extensive piece, complicated and yet, not entirely clear.
It is clear on the fact that the V-POTUS has the same power to classify as the POTUS, but it is not clear on whether that extends to declassification especially given that there are so many classification standards and levels.

'why hasn't WH played that card'
1. The 'declassification' process is not completely clear. Can the POTUS say, "I'm unclassifying this" and it is done or does the POTUS have to sign something and does the 'something' have to specify what is being declassified and if so, how specific.
2. Anything the WH does and says at this point tends to destroy the entire case against Trump. So they want to minimize what they do and say.

[Breitbart] The Biden Administration announced another record-setting month for migrant encounters along the U.S.-Mexico border. The report of nearly 252,000 migrant encounters came in a Friday-night after-hours news dump. This represents the largest single-month report in U.S. history.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released the December Southwest Land Border Encounters Report early Friday evening. The report revealed that U.S. Border Patrol agents and CBP officers encountered 251,487 migrants in the month of December 2022.
While the December report sets yet another record for the Biden administration, it represents the tenth-straight month of reports exceeding 200,000 migrant encounters.
Former border security officials from the Obama and Trump administrations were quick to criticize the Biden administration for the skyrocketing numbers.
“Joe Biden is the first president in my lifetime to intentionally un-secure the border,” former acting ICE Director and Heritage Foundation visiting fellow Tom Homan said in a written statement on Friday. “By way of more than 90 executive orders, he undid the successful Trump-era policies that brought illegal immigration to a 40-year low and gave us the most secure border of our lifetimes.”
“This president and his team were warned what would happen if they got rid of those policies,” Homan stated. “They did it anyway, and you’re looking at the consequences.
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart Texas shortly after President Biden took office, former CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan reported on the warnings given to the Biden administration during the transition.
“Look, I know what our team said to the transition team,” the former commissioner said at the time. “I know the facts and data and analysis that was provided.”
On Friday, Morgan, also a Heritage Foundation visiting fellow, brought the impact of Biden’s changes in border security and immigration into focus.
“What’s been happening at the border the last two years continues to be a catastrophic crisis, and the White House, Secretary Mayorkas, and the open-borders advocates on the left continue to lie about it,” Morgan stated. “Under the last Democratic president, 25,000 encounters was a borderline crisis—for the Biden administration, 10 times that number is simply business as usual.”
“Secretary Mayorkas has been in his post for two years. He has presided over all this chaos and destruction, willfully implementing every single one of his boss’ open-borders policies,” the former CBP commissioner added. “Those policies have abjectly failed, yet he continues to absurdly claim the opposite, even to the point of lying under oath before Congress. No sane person could look at the border and claim we’re on the right course.”
The CBP Southwest Land Border Encounters Report reveals that since February 1, 2021, President Biden’s first full month in office, and December 31, 2022, Border Patrol agents and CBP officers encountered more than 4.5 million migrants along the southwest border with Mexico.
"Previously, she served as acting White House Communications Director in the Obama White House. Additionally, she served as managing director at SKDK, a strategic communications firm in Washington, D.C.,[3] and an advisor to the Biden presidential transition.[4] Dunn has worked on six Democratic presidential campaigns over a period of 40 years.[5]"

Currently, their whole game plan to take Trump down with the classified documents angle just imploded. They have to dump old log Joe now just to get any traction with that strategy. He's not going to voluntarily resign cause his class of people have no shame.

More than likely, Obama will continue to call the shots with Rice being the morning delivery person for imperial commands and talking points. The Chief of Staff’s job is probably to keep the pencils sharp and to fall upon his sword when commanded. Mission accomplished.

[WND] There already had been comments made that the scandal over Joe Biden's decision to keep classified government documents from years ago, during his time as vice president, in unsecured storage areas at a vacant office and at his Delaware home was an inside job.
That would be scheming on the part of Democrats to create an obvious reason for him to end his career with this term, to not seek another four years in the White House.
Now a report from Trending Politics explains that Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., has openly suggested that is the case.
"There’s an element to this that feels like the Democrats are taking out Joe Biden," he explained this week. "I don’t know that that’s the case, but I don’t know that it’s not."
But he pointed out the scandal erupted — after weeks in which Biden and his cronies allegedly tried to keep it secret — "Just as Joe Biden is hardening the cement around his decision to run for president again, they start looking for what classified documents might have been tucked away eight years ago."
The documents have been found at the Penn Biden Center and at Biden's Wilmington home where son Hunter Biden, while on some of his drug-induced episodes, lived while he was making deals with Chinese interests.
CNN reported the documents included those from Joe Biden's time as vice president, and that they were not secured as required by law. Nor did Joe Biden, as VP, have the authority to declassify them.

It is hard to argue for Occam’s Razor in an environment where we know that the CIA whacked Kennedy and set Nixon up, but the simplest answer is that Biden is an incompetent and corrupt boob not suited to any position of trust.

Said pretty much the same thing ...
The LSD's need him gone before 2024 to runa
______ / Michelle Obama ticket.
[FoxNews] Pressure is continuing to build on President Biden and his administration as some Senate Democrats are now saying they support a full investigation into his mishandling of the classified documents found at his home and former office disclosed earlier this month.
"The reports about President Biden’s mishandling of classified documents are extremely irresponsible and disturbing. These allegations should be investigated fully," Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., told Fox News Digital on Friday.
Senator Manchin is apparently not nearly as popular back home as he’s accustomed to being...
Fox also spoke with Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., who echoed Manchin's concern.
"This news raises serious questions and the appointment of an unbiased special prosecutor to investigate the matter is the right step," Kaine said.
Manchin and Kaine joined a noticeably small list of Democrats who have spoken out about the Biden document scandal, while most, especially those up for re-election in 2024, have been reluctant to address the situation.
Rep. Katie Porter, D-Calif., who announced earlier this month that she would be seeking Sen. Dianne Feinstein's, D-Calif., Senate seat even though Feinstein has yet to announce her retirement, told Fox after a Tuesday town hall event that lawmakers "definitely" wanted "to get answers from the White House" concerning the documents.
"Classified documents belong in classified settings, and I think you heard me say oversight is not a partisan thing. Good oversight means you're willing to hold any rule breaker to account," she added. "We should be asking for answers in a respectful way, and we should be expecting to get honest ones."
Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., who announced she would not be running for re-election next year, acknowledged it was a bad look for Biden to be caught having classified information after condemning former President Donald Trump for a similar situation.
Fox News Digital reached out to every Senate Democrat who has yet to make a statement on the Biden documents and whose term ends in 2024, but all except Manchin and Kaine didn't respond.
*Snicker* Snark level: Troll.
Those who didn't respond include Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn.; Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii; Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.; Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.; Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont.; Sen. Jacky Rosen, D-Nev.; Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J.; Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M.; Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio; Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa.; Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash.; Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.; Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I.; Sen. Tom Carper, D-Del.; and Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis.
[FoxNews] The Justice Department seized additional classified records from President Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home after an FBI search on Friday, Fox News has learned.
"On Jan. 20, 2023, the FBI executed a planned, consensual search of the President's residence in Wilmington, Delaware," Joseph D. Fitzpatrick, an assistant U.S. attorney to U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch, told Fox News Saturday.
Lausch was the DOJ official running the investigation into Biden's improper retention of classified records ahead of the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Hur. Fox News has learned Lausch is still playing an integral role in the probe as Hur gets up to speed.
The FBI search began Friday morning at 9:45 a.m. and concluded Friday night around 10:30 p.m.
Biden's personal attorney Bob Bauer said Saturday evening the search covered "all working, living and storage spaces in the home." Bauer is married to lizard Maoist Anita Dunn, who recommended not disclosing the discovery of the documents
DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate.
Bauer said that by agreement with the Justice Department, representatives of both Biden's personal legal team and the White House Counsel’s Office were present for the search. Neither the president nor the first lady were present during the search.
"DOJ had full access to the President’s home, including personally handwritten notes, files, papers, binders, memorabilia, to-do lists, schedules, and reminders going back decades," Bauer continued.
"DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President," Bauer said. "DOJ also took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years."
Biden left the U.S. Senate in 2008 to serve as vice president to former President Barack Obama.
The search comes a week after Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed U.S. Attorney Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate the president’s possible unauthorized removal and improper retention of classified documents and records discovered at the Penn Biden Center in Washington D.C., and in his private residence in Wilmington, Delaware.
Classified records were found inside the Washington, D.C., offices of the Penn Biden Center think tank on Nov. 2, 2022, but only disclosed to the public last week.
A second stash of classified documents was also found inside the garage of the president’s home in Wilmington. Last weekend, additional classified documents were found in the president’s home.
The White House has repeatedly declined to comment on the contents of the classified records, as well as the levels of the classification, saying instead that the records "have been turned over to proper authorities and will be part of the ongoing investigation."

[UPI] President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S., father of Hunter, close friend of an imaginary negro named Corn Pop. He blames Trump for losing Afghanistan.... "looks forward" to meeting with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy ...the GOP house majority whip. He replaces Eric Cantor, who got whupped because his politix are like Kevin McCarthy's... to discuss a range of issues but will not negotiate on raising the U.S. debt ceiling, the White House says.
“Don’t call my bluff.”
House Republicans led by McCarthy have indicated they will seek deep spending cuts before agreeing to raise the debt ceiling, a procedural move which is needed for the federal government to meet its existing debt obligations.
The United States hit its national debt limit of $31.4 trillion Thursday and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen notified congressional leaders that she is implementing "extraordinary measures" to meet those payments.
Pushing off paying bills and playing money games to maximize returns on cash, stopping spending on a lengthening list of optional spending... there are lots of things the federal government can do while the money temporarily stops coming in.
McCarthy in a Tweet posted Friday said he is willing to meet with Bident to "discuss a responsible debt ceiling increase to address irresponsible government spending," but White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre afterwards reiterated there would be "no negotiations" on whether or not to raise the debt ceiling.
Another 'cooperative'.
South Dakota Association of Cooperatives [Breitbart] A coalition of special interests and industry representatives has emerged to try to stop South Dakota Republican Gov. Kristi Noem from passing a measure that would restrict the ability of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or other foreign entities to purchase land in her state, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.
Noem’s proposal, introduced last month ahead of this year’s legislative session, would create a state-level version of the federal Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Titled CFIUS-South Dakota, Noem’s vision is to create a board that can review and then block any foreign entity’s proposal to purchase land in South Dakota. The measure has support in both the state House and the state Senate, and is likely to be considered this legislative session, which has a short window between now and the beginning of March, when the South Dakota legislature has its regular session.
As the measure has gained support, given the wide-scale popularity of any push to block China from buying American farmland, her idea has taken off nationwide as other governors in other states consider similar measures. Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott, for instance, has said he would sign a similar idea into law after a lawmaker in the statehouse introduced a proposal to that effect. Former President Donald Trump, meanwhile, has as part of his early 2024 presidential campaign policy videos rolled out a federal proposal to block China from buying American farmland.
But in South Dakota, special interest groups are racing to slow Noem’s rollout in South Dakota, with a consortium of special interests expressing concerns with her proposed legislation. An email sent by Brenda Forman of the South Dakota Association of Cooperatives to Noem’s legal team in mid-January, obtained by Breitbart News, notes that “agricultural groups” have reviewed an updated version of Noem’s bill and “are deeply concerned about the legality and constitutionality of the proposal.”
“We remain interested in identifying what is not working with our current law,” Forman adds, without providing any specifics about any legal or constitutional concerns these groups her organization represents have.
Forman has not replied to a request for comment for details on any specific concerns, and has also not answered if any of the organizations her umbrella group is representing have any pending or possible looming sales of land to Chinese or other foreign interests.
But the email ends with a list of the groups Forman says are concerned about the Noem proposal, including SD Farm Bureau, SD Farmer Union, SD AgriBusiness Association, SD Cattlemen’s Association, SD Corn Grower Association, SD Dairy Producers, SD Pork Producers, SD Soybean Association, SD Stockgrowers Association, SD Wheat Growers Association, and the SD Association of Conservation Districts, in addition to her SD Association of Cooperatives.
What all of this signals is an uncertain future for this proposal from Noem in the legislature as this session proceeds—these special interests have enormous sway over lawmakers in a state like South Dakota—and possibly an uncertain legal future if the proposal does make it into law. Even so, Noem’s novel effort—which as noted is an idea that is gaining traction nationally—is sure to catch on as quickly as did a previous anti-China push to ban the use of TikTok on state devices that she led. Noem was first out of the gate on that, and it caught fire nationally with dozens of governors engaging in similar efforts and even the U.S. Congress late last year adopting a proposal from Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) to do it at the federal level.
“With this new process, we will be able to prevent nations who hate us – like Communist China – from buying up our state’s agriculture land,” Noem said in her release on Dec. 13 announcing the legislation creating CFIUS-SD. “We cannot allow the Chinese Communist Party to continue to buy up our nation’s food supply, so South Dakota will lead the charge on this vital national security issue.”
