[NYPOST] The Texas FedEx driver accused of strangling 7-year-old Athena Strand and dumping her body in a nearby river was hit Tuesday with new charges of sexual assault of a child.
The three molestation charges are not related to last month’s horrific killing of Athena, Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin told WCMessenger.com.
Tanner Horner was already being held in Wise County Jail on charges of capital murder and aggravated kidnapping in Athena’s death. He allegedly admitted to strangling the child after accidentally hitting her with his delivery van.
The sexual assault charges were filed from Tarrant County, approximately 35 miles from where Horner, 31, kidnapped Athena from her Paradise home.
Horner allegedly told police he killed Athena inside his delivery truck out of fear she would tell her parents he accidentally struck her with the vehicle. He had been dropping off a package — which turned out to be the girl’s Christmas present — when he told officers he "panicked" and tossed her in the back of the FedEx truck.

It happened in Texas, so the odds are there will be meaningful justice applied at some point. Heck, he could strangle himself in jail.
But, imagine if it happened in San Francisco and what the charges and bail would be?
[NYPOST] An enraged Alabama mom chucked a computer at an airline worker when she realized she’d lost her kids at the airport. So then she didn't have the kiddies or the computer.
Camilia McMillie, 25, is facing criminal charges for her caught-on-camera meltdown Tuesday at Miami International Airport. "I'm mel-l--l-l-ting! Down!"
Video shows the Birmingham mom yelling and ripping things off the counter after her two young children had walked away to the bathroom while she was checking in for her connecting flight with American Airlines. "Maw! I gotsta go to da baffroom!"
“Once [McMillie] noticed the children were not with her, she became irate and began to scream, demanding the gate agent to find her children,” Miami-Dade Police explained. "My brats! Where'd my brats go? Go find my brats! Bring me my brats right now!"
McMillie, who was traveling to New York City, But isn't anymore...
can allegedly be seen yelling and tearing the boarding pass reader off the counter. "Allegedly?" Izzat or ain't dat her on the camera? Izzat or ain't dat the boarding pass machine coming in for a landing on the boarding agent?
She eventually grabbed the computer and threw it at the gate agent, bruising the woman’s shoulder. "Ow! My shoulder!"
“She went into panic mode,” one witness told WSVN. “That’s what happened.” When I used to go into panic mode when one or more of my kids wandered off somewhere, I'd just say "sonovabitch!" and go looking for them.
According to the arrest affidavit obtained by The Post, McMillie’s outburst caused $10,000 in damages. Those boarding pass computers aren't $199 laptops.
McMillie is still in custody. She was briefly detained by US Customs and Border Patrol agents before being taken into custody by local police. "Over here, Officer Friendly!"
"Izzat her?"
"Yeah."
[Whack!] "Intoo da paddy wagon wit' yez!"
She was charged with aggravated battery, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Records show that she remains in custody. Her kids were turned over to the nearest shady-looking guy with whiskers wearing a trenchcoat.
“Acts of violence against our team members are not tolerated by American Airlines,” company spokesperson Derek Walls told WSVN. “We are working closely with law enforcement in their investigation.” "We don't know where the hell the brats are. Merry Christmas. No, you can't use that station to board your flight. It doesn't have a computer. By the way, you seen any kids?"

Can you blame her children for attempting to escape ?
[NYPOST] This thieving Grinch tried to torch Christmas.
A Tennessee man – whose heart was perhaps two sizes too small – played the role of holiday villain Sunday when he burned down a family’s Christmas tree and a child’s gifts under it, authorities said.
James Walker, 25, allegedly stole items from an apartment and stuffed them in his car before he heartlessly threw a child’s blanket over the tree and lit it on fire, Dyersburg police said in a Facebook post.
Responding officers saw that a window was opened to vent the fire and the home’s smoke detector was covered up, police said.
The victim wasn’t home at the time of the fire that occurred shortly after midnight, but later told police that the suspect was an acquaintance. The victim also told officers earlier that day that she and her brother got into an altercation with Walker, according to authorities.
Walker was arrested by police officers following a short foot pursuit, authorities said. Among the charges he faces include aggravated burglary, aggravated arson, resisting arrest and public intoxication.
Dyersburg police – through its outreach program – also help the victimized household by replacing the child’s gifts that were destroyed and even contributed a few extra toys ahead of Christmas Day, the department said.

...and the home’s smoke detector was covered up
[ShabelleMedia] Ilhan Omar ...Somali-American Dem representative from Minnesota. She was apparently married to her brother and may be her own grandmaw on her mother's side... , a member of the US congress touched down in Garowe, the capital of Puntland ...a region in northeastern Somalia, centered on Garowe in the Nugaal province. Its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 1998. Puntland and the equally autonomous Somaliland seem to have avoided the clan rivalries and warlordism that have typified the rest of Somalia, which puts both places high on the list for Islamic subversion... , on Thursday.
The first deputy speaker of the Puntland Parliament, Abdazis Abdullahi Osman, along with government officials and various people welcomed her at Garowe airport.
Puntland President Sa’id Deni is also scheduled to receive the vising US congresswoman at the Puntland Presidency in the coming hours as he is now in Gara’ad port town.
Ilhan Omar, who is elected from the State of Minnesota in the United States, is originally from Somalia, especially Puntland, where she began her visit to the country.
What the hell? Why not? How often do you get crowned King of England?
If the country put aside just a few pennies every year he was crown prince, they’ll have a tidy sum saved up for the thing — he was, after all, the longest serving crown prince in English history. And as he’s already 74, he isn’t likely to need more than just silver jubilee celebration at the 25-year mark, unlike his mother — who made it up to Platinum. On the other hand, we know nobody bothered to set aside those pennies, so they’re probably going to have to cut NHS services again to afford it... or what’s left of the armed forces.

I think the Tomb ceremonies are indicative that solemnity and purpose are more important than ostentatiousness. In Charles’s case, I think a solemn and purposeful Royal Swirly would fit the bill at an appropriate cost.

If I was about to be coronated, I'd get stupidly drunk at a cheap pub and have a bar girl put my crown on me while I puked.
What else is the point of being King?

there will be all types of Pharmaceutical and other key item shortages.

Isn't it something like 1/8th of the population disposed of by gulag/execution the Communist Guideline for a counter-revolutionary purge? 125million would be that mark.

Between 'household 6' endless daily assignments, I'm a third of the way thru Stephen Kinzer's Poisioner In Chief. The Wuhan parallels seem to leap from each chapter.

Post - Omicron. Covid is about as strong as a serious case of the flu. Hopefully, they are not releasing Tony’s new recipe. Weren’t they supposed to be cooperating with the world community on a transparent basis after Biden took over? We allowed them to install their operative in the White House and they are still not acting very friendly.

[Gateway] An internal investigation by ByteDance, the parent company of video-sharing platform TikTok, found that employees tracked multiple journalists covering the company, improperly gaining access to their IP addresses and user data in an attempt to identify whether they had been in the same locales as ByteDance employees.
According to materials reviewed by Forbes, ByteDance tracked multiple Forbes journalists as part of this covert surveillance campaign, which was designed to unearth the source of leaks inside the company following a drumbeat of stories exposing the company’s ongoing links to China. As a result of the investigation into the surveillance tactics, ByteDance fired Chris Lepitak, its chief internal auditor who led the team responsible for them. The China-based executive Song Ye, who Lepitak reported to and who reports directly to ByteDance CEO Rubo Liang, resigned.
"I was deeply disappointed when I was notified of the situation... and I’m sure you feel the same," Liang wrote in an internal email shared with Forbes. "The public trust that we have spent huge efforts building is going to be significantly undermined by the misconduct of a few individuals. ... I believe this situation will serve as a lesson to us all."
[MAIL] Former US government intelligence agents are now working across Silicon Valley in senior roles dedicated to censoring 'misinformation', DailyMail.com can disclose. "Former".... or simply detailed ?
A large number of ex-officers from the FBI, CIA, NSC, and State Department have taken positions at Facebook, Twitter, and Google.
The revelation comes amid fears the FBI operated control over Twitter censorship and the Hunter Biden laptop story.
The Twitter files have revealed the close relationship with the FBI, how the Bureau regularly demanded accounts and tweets be banned and suspicious contact before the Hunter laptop story was censored.
The documents detailed how so many former FBI agents joined Twitter's ranks over the past few years that they created their own private Slack channel.
A report by Mint Press' Alan MacLeod identified dozens of Twitter employees, who had previously held positions at the Bureau, by tracking down their LinkedIn profiles
He also found that former CIA agents made up some of the top ranks in almost every politically-sensitive department at Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Made their way into "politically sensitive departments" did they ?
And in another report, MacLeod detailed the extent to which former CIA agents started working at Google.
It remains unclear whether any of these former agents have worked with their previous employers in a coordinated effort to quash any stories. You mean like providing "previous employers" access to their Slack Channel ?
But the CIA is prohibited under federal law from 'engaging in any activities for purposes of affecting or interfering with the domestic political process.' Had these embedded Other Government Agency (OGA) employees been approved for Neuralink ?Slack Channel is so old school.

[NY Post] 24 hour rule
At least three people were killed and four others injured in a shooting in central Paris on Friday, the local mayor said.
An unidentified 69-year-old man opened fire at the Ahmet-Kaya Kurdish cultural center in the city’s 10th arrondissement, Le Parisien reported.
Could be a Turk...
The mayor of the arrondissement, Alexandra Cordebard, said three people died and four others were injured in the barrage of gunshots, which rang out in the Rue d’Enghien, a street lined with small shops and cafes, CNN reported.
The alleged gunman, a retired train conductor, was arrested shortly after the shooting. Prosecutors are now pursuing a case for murder, voluntary manslaughter, and aggravated violence.
One local shopkeeper heard seven or eight shots going off, according to The Guardian.
"It was just complete panic — everyone locked themselves in," she told Agence France-Presse.
No motive has been released for the attack.
Parisian police said that an investigation is underway, and asked those nearby to avoid the area, which includes a major shopping district as well as the Grand Rex, often celebrated as Europe’s largest movie theater.
The gunman was described by police sources as "Caucasian," of French nationality and known for two previous attempted murders in 2016 and 2021.
His motives remain unclear, but his identity and his target immediately raised suspicions that the shooting could have been racially motivated.
Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin has repeatedly warned about the danger of violent mostly peaceful far-right groups in La Belle France.
Mathilde Panot, parliamentary head of the hard-left La Belle France Unbowed political party, immediately pointed the finger at the far-right, calling it a "racist attack."
The shooter was injured and "has been taken to hospital," the mayor of 10th district, Alexandra Cordebard, said at the scene where police have sealed off surrounding roads.
French police clashed with protesters in Paris Friday after a gunman opened fire at a Kurdish cultural central and hairdressing salon in Paris, killing three people and wounding three others.
The shots shortly before midday caused panic in rue d’Enghien in the trendy 10th district of the capital, a bustling area of shops and restaurants that is home to a large Kurdish population. A 69-year-old suspect who has previously been charged with racist violence was wounded and arrested.
Hours after the attack, clashes broke out as officers used teargas in an attempt to disperse Kurdish demonstrators as they tried to break through a police cordon deployed to protect Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin who had arrived at the scene.
Demonstrators threw objects at police while voicing fury over an attack they saw as deliberate and which French security services had done too little to prevent.
Several cars parked in the area as well as police vehicles had their windows smashed as protesters threw bricks.
Some of the protesters shouted slogans against the Turkish government.
“Erdogan, terrorist,” they chanted, in reference to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. “Turkish state, assassin.”
Speaking to reports near the scene, Darmanin said the attacker was clearly targeting foreigners, but that police don’t have evidence at this stage that he was specifically aiming to hurt Kurds. Darmanin is holding a special meeting Friday night to assess threats targeting the Kurdish community in France
The Kurdish Democratic Council of France (CDK-F), which uses the cultural center as its headquarters, said in a statement it considered the shooting to be a “terror attack.”
The gunman, named as William M. in the French media, had already been linked to two previous attempted murders in 2016 and 2021.
The retired train driver was initially convicted over the first case in the multicultural Seine-Saint-Denis suburb of Paris, but freed on appeal, Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau told reporters without giving further details.
In the second case, he was charged with racist violence after allegedly attacking migrants in tents in the Bercy area of the city in December 2021, Beccuau added.
At least two migrants suffered injuries from a sword used in the assault, a police source told AFP at the time.
Authorities are likely to face questions in the coming days over why the gunman had been recently released on bail given his criminal record.
The attacker attended a shooting range in a sports club, and had several registered weapons, Darmanin said. He added that the attacker is French and was not on any radicalism watch lists, or known for involvement in any extreme-right or other political movements.
The minister has repeatedly warned about the danger of violent far-right groups in France.
Last month, 13 people from far-right political circles were ordered to stand trial for allegedly plotting to attack Macron.

[INSIDER] Cassidy Hutchinson, a former White House aide in the Trump administration and a key witness in the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack's hearings, said she initially lied to the committee in a deposition about whether she'd heard about President Donald Trump's lunging at a Secret Service agent in the presidential SUV on January 6, 2020.
In her newly-released depositions with the committee, Hutchinson explained that she was coerced by her Trump-aligned attorney, Stefan Passantino, to mislead them on how much information she actually knew. So it was Trump's fault all along, see?
"The committee doesn't know what you can and can't recall, so we want to be able to use that as much as we can unless you really, really remember something very clearly," Hutchinson said Passantino told her.
Hutchinson said she followed the advice of her counsel, and when asked about a moment on January 6 when the president reportedly lunged at a member of the Secret Service in his SUV for not taking him to the Capitol alongside protestors, she said she told them she had "never heard anything about that."
Following the deposition, she later told the committee in a separate deposition that she broke down in front of Passantino out of fear that she had just lied to the committee.
"Stefan, I'm fucked. "I shoulda kept my legs closed!"
I just lied," "Heels together!"
Hutchinson said she told Passantino. "I lied, I lied, I lied." "And shoulda kept my mouth closed!"
"Did you at least use mouthwash afterward?"

What evidence do we have that this is not just another lie?
What are the odds we'll find out some day that Passantino was really working for the FBI?
And what does it matter anyway? A lie is a lie. The woman has no credibility, just like the entire January 6 committee.
