On October 9, 2021, Elizabeth Emery had a message to her readers at her Dinosaurs Can't Read blog: "For the Last Time – I am Not a G** D*** Republican!"
OK.
Now she is dealing with her first pregnancy.
This week she wrote for Quillette, "The Erasure of Women From Online Pregnancy Literature
"After lugging around two fetuses that won’t stop kicking my bladder, I have no patience left for gender activists who pretend that men can give birth."
No normal person says men give birth.
She wrote, "I’m no fan of the credential-cataloguing throat-clearing that writers often do in the opening paragraphs of essays such as this one. But I think it’s necessary to mention something of my background, because I’m not a social conservative and certainly not a reactionary bigot. Before the U.S. Supreme Court ensured that gay men and women had the right to marry everywhere in the United States, I advocated passionately for marriage equality, and I was highly involved in my college’s LGBT club. I’ve dated transgender and transvestite men. I’ve taught transgender students, and I nearly ghostwrote a biography for a transgender woman. I don’t think transgender people should face discrimination in housing or employment, except in such limited areas where biological sex really does matter. I certainly don’t want any transgender person to feel that his or her life is devalued. Yet none of that changes my belief in the plain fact that sex differences between men and women are real, and that medical language around pregnancy—among other topics—ought to speak directly to biological women, full stop."
Emery still doesn't get it but she is getting there. She does not understand that feminism, LGBT and the whole lot of liberal causes are not about rights. Liberals are all about control.
Children are a gift from God. Her twins gave her the bonus of clarity. In today's parlance, pregnancy red-pilled her.
She wrote, "One of the gifts of pregnancy is that it makes certain truths excruciatingly clear. Accidentally vomiting on my feet in public because I can’t always get to a garbage can every time I leave the house is not so easily followed by watching President Biden seriously interview an adult biological man going through a grotesquely stereotypical transgender girlhood. Flowery sundresses, petting puppies, and flouncing one’s hair playfully while crossing the street, all while sipping daintily from a blended drink? Cut the shit, please. That’s a lot of things, but it is not literal womanhood, and I’m no longer interested in acting like it is because someone’s feelings might be hurt."
Emery is not alone on this journey from the cliff.
Matt Taibbi began his journey from Rolling Stone to Substack independence by calling out Russiagate in 2017 for what it was. BS.
His latest piece is about the Election Denial of Hillary versus the Election Denial of President Trump.
Election denialism -- as the left now calls contested races -- goes back to 1800 when Aaron Burr tried to hijack Thomas Jefferson's election as president.
None of this matters, they'll just call her a TERF and cancel her. The left always attacks its own fiercest proponents and is yet always creating more to replace them.
[Breitbart] The New York Times (NYT) expressed its disapproval for tattoos for children, but waffled on puberty blocker treatments on so-called “transgender” kids despite long-term consequences.
“A 10-Year-Old Got a Tattoo. His Mother Was Arrested,” the first story from the New York Times is titled. The article detailed a number of different cases in which parents allowed their children to get tattoos.
In some states, those under the age of 18 are allowed to receive tattoos if they have permission from their parents. In other states however, it is illegal for a minor to get a tattoo even if they have permission from their legal guardian. The story cited various cases in which parents ran into trouble with the law for allowing their children to get a tattoo.

In California I had to accompany my minor daughter to get her ears pierced by state law. No need to bother me if she wanted an abortion. I am unsure how a lib mind can avoid the cognitive dissonance caused by the conflicts of their beliefs. Maybe booze, blow, ice cream and senility are a remedy against self-awareness.

10 year olds should be able to drink and smoke too. That way he can always claim he was fucking black out blasted when he wanted his nuts cut off.
[Hot Air] Is Facebook secretly giving the FBI user information in violation of the the Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986?
Maybe, according to FBI director Christopher Ray. He can’t say for sure.
Oh. Really?
The allegations that the FBI is doing a lot of shady things are not exactly new, although they are only sporadically covered in the MSM. After all, the MSM likes censorship–as long as it isn’t censorship of themselves. So if the FBI is helping censor us bad people, that is probably a good thing.
Hell, the MSM didn’t even mind when one of their own was called a spy and had his phone records seized–he was a Fox News guy, so big deal. Besides, Obama did it so that makes it OK. Gathering info on people not going along with The Narrative™ is A-OK.

Yup. Pretty much. Africa was wrecked because the nations of Europe wanted it that way. It's highly profitable to extract their resources for pennies on the dollar, create goods with them, and then sell the goods back at inflated prices. Why do you think developed nations are wealthy?

While the history of Africa is complex (like anywhere else), Spike the Hairy6811 isn't totally wrong here. The French never really gave up their empire in Africa. The Françafrique is still very much a going concern, and Paris still picks the leaders and controls the currency of many African nations.
[Breitbart] CLAIM: The Associated Press claimed Saturday that Republicans have not put forward evidence that President Joe Biden and his son Hunter have “spoken” about the family’s foreign business dealings.
VERDICT: FALSE. Republicans have submitted a recording of Joe Biden leaving a voicemail for Hunter Biden about a business deal with a Chinese energy company, along with whistleblowers that have stated Joe Biden was intimately involved in the Biden family business.
On Saturday, the Associated Press falsely claimed: “Joe Biden has said he’s never spoken to his son about his foreign business, and nothing the Republicans have put forth suggests otherwise.”
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, stated as early as 2020 that whistleblower Tony Bobulinski, one of Hunter’s business partners, twice met with Joe Biden to discuss a business deal in China with CEFC China Energy Co.
“I directly dealt with the Biden family, including Joe Biden,” Bobulinski stated.
“An email found on Hunter’s laptop “outlined the proposed percentage distribution of equity in a company created for a joint venture with CEFC China Energy Co,” the New York Post reported about the CEFC energy deal. The proposed business venture, sent on March 13, 2017, included “10 held by H for the big guy?”
The CEFC deal was between Bobulinski, the Biden family, and high-ranking members of the Chinese Communist Party. Bobulinski confirmed “the big guy” was a reference to Joe Biden.
Secondly, Joe Biden left a voicemail on Hunter’s phone about a New York Times story that was reporting on the CEFC deal in which Joe Biden noted, “I think you’re clear,” a reference to the family’s business deal. The voicemail directly contradicted Joe Biden’s statement in 2019 that he and his son had not spoken about the family’s business schemes.
“Hey pal, it’s Dad. It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you get a chance just give me a call. Nothing urgent. I just wanted to talk to you,” Joe Biden said in the audio recording.
“I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear. And anyway if you get a chance give me a call, I love you,” the message concluded.
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), the third highest ranking House Republican, told the New York Post the voicemail “is just the tip of the iceberg” regarding the evidence against the “Biden Crime Family.”
“Joe Biden said he ‘never spoke’ with Hunter about his business dealings. That is simply not true. We need to know what Joe Biden knew and when he knew it,” Stefanik said.
“This voicemail is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the evidence mounting against the Biden Crime Family. When Republicans take back Congress, we will use our congressional power of oversight to uncover the truth for every American as a matter of national security,” she added.
Thirdly, in 2015, the day after Joe Biden dined with Hunter’s Ukrainian foreign business partners, one of them emailed Hunter his thanks for the “opportunity to meet your father.” The Post reported:
The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads.
An earlier email from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 exec, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf.
