EXPLOSION REPORTED IN KABUL, NO CASUALTIES – A magnetic mine destroyed a vehicle in the 8th Police District of Kabul yesterday. No injuries or deaths were reported in conjunction with the attack. Sources in the Ministry of Interior said the recent spate of bombings in Kabul has not been deadly and the general thinking among GDI agents is that ISIS-K has fielded two teams made up of new recruits who lack the technical and tactical know-how to conduct these attacks. They also believe the electronic components being used in the roadside and magnetic mines were purchased in China and are of inferior quality. In 2022, ISIS-K has been at its deadliest when utilizing suicide bombers. It is unknown if ISIS-K is responsible for the recent unsuccessful bomb attacks, but sources indicate that the Taliban intelligence community believes it is their handiwork. Similar operations carried out by Resistance forces in the North have been far more precise and professional but this does not mean they were not involved.
HARDLINERS IN DE FACTO REGIME BAN WOMEN FROM GYMS AND PARKS – In yet another sophomoric move, the old guard among the Taliban leadership has decreed that women may not visit gyms or public parks. Doubtlessly the policy will incite more criticism from the international community and continues to push recognition of the regime farther over the horizon.

ROADS REMAIN MIRED IN MUD AFTER RAINS IN PARTS OF THE COUNTRY – Heavy rains have caused transportation delays across the central belt of Afghanistan as roads that were already saturated from earlier storms received as much as 3 inches of new rain. Residents from Herat to Khost have complained that taxis and busses are having difficulty negotiating the roads. At-risk Afghans planning to travel by ground are advised to check the conditions and expect delays.
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Taliban Intelligence Agency reportedly detained another woman activist, Farhat Popalzai, less than a week after Zarifa Yaqoubi and her colleagues were detained, setting off an outcry among social media users.
Farhat Popalzai, a women’s rights activist and protester who took part in the recent demonstrations, was reportedly detained by the Taliban, according to domestic media sources cited on November 10.
Farhat Popalzi, a 23-year-old activist for women’s rights, is one of the founders of the Spontaneous Movement of Afghan Women, and also was in charge of the movement’s social media accounts.
According to Spontaneous Movement of Afghan Women, Farhat Popalzi, one of the movement’s active members, has been missing in Kabul, the Afghan capital, since Tuesday and there has been no update on her whereabouts.
According to BBC Dari, the movement also reported Zainab’s detention, another one of its members.
Unnamed sources were cited by several local media outlets as saying that Taliban fighters had taken Popalzai and her father to a police station in Kabul where they had inspected her phone before taking her into custody.
Social media users are outraged by the Taliban’s detention of women and human rights activists, calling the group’s actions “wrong” and “without legitimate” reason, demanding the activists’ immediate release.
“Despite intel backlash, Taliban’s crackdown continues,” one Twitter user wrote.
This comes at a time when Afghanistan’s human rights situation has severely deteriorated as a result of the Taliban’s draconian rules prohibiting women’s freedom of association, expression, and mobility.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has insisted that the government will not relent in the latest onslaught while asking friendly nations to chip in and assist local forces to dislodge the murderous Moslems. Since taking over in May, Hassan Sheikh has activated several operations around the country.
Al-Shabaab snuffies are said to be making close to $100 million annually with $24 million going directly to purchasing weapons. To further help in the fight, the US has slapped several senior al-Shabaab leaders with sanctions including those believed to be financiers of the group.

It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... , was paralyzed after the strike carried out by the Yemeni military forces Wednesday to prevent the looting of crude oil, local sources in Shabwah said on Thursday.
The sources said that the ship brought by the Saudi-led coalition left the port, after its mission failed to load quantities of Yemen’s crude oil through the Qana port.
The front man for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, had announced at dawn Thursday the success of a new warning strike to prevent the looting of crude oil in Shabwah province.
Sare’e said that the targeted ship refused to respond to the repeated warnings sent by the Sana’a forces to it.
This is the second warning strike carried out by the Sana’a forces to prevent the looting of Yemeni crude oil, after a similar strike carried out on October 22 on the oil port of al-Dhaba in the east of the country.

[IsraelTimes] Second cop injured in Brussels attack before officers manage to shoot the assailant; local media says he shouted ’holy shit! Allahu akbar’ while carrying out attack
A lone assailant killed one police officer and maimed another Thursday in a stabbing attack that two Belgian judicial officials said was suspected to be terrorism-linked. The suspect was shot and taken to a hospital.
Eric Van der Sypt, from the federal prosecutor’s office, told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named the suspect was maimed by another police officer after the stabbing.
Van der Sypt added that Sherlocks suspected the attack took place in a "terrorist context." The prosecutor’s office told AP it took over the case because there is "a suspicion of a terror attack."
"One of our patrols was attacked by a man armed with a knife," police said, quoted by the newspaper Le Soir. "The two coppers then called for reinforcements. An officer from another patrol used his firearm to neutralize the attacker."
"The two injured detectives and the assailant were taken to hospital," police added.
Le Soir said one of the officers was stabbed in the neck and died from his injuries.
The newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws reported the suspect had gone to a cop shoppe Thursday morning warning that he would kill an officer. The ACV police trade union said in a Facebook post that it had information a person had gone to police earlier in the day threatening an attack. It added that the judicial authorities did not arrest him.
According to Belgian media, the attacker shouted "holy shit! Allahu akbar," the Arabic phrase for "God is great," during the attack, which occurred around 7:15 p.m.
The suspect is said to have started Thursday evening, targeting two coppers near the Bruxelles du Nord railway station, fatally stabbing one, reportedly in the neck, before shooting the other one with his colleague’s firearm.
An officer from another patrol "used his firearm to neutralise the attacker", according to a police front man, with reports indicating that the suspect was hit in the abdomen and legs and died in hospital.
Belgian authorities said Friday that the lone assailant who killed one police officer and maimed another in a stabbing attack had been on a counterterrorism list of potential turbans.
The Belgian suspect, who had served six years in prison for common-law crimes, had gone to a cop shoppe early Thursday to express hatred for them, but couldn’t be arrested before he launched his stabbing attack on two coppers that evening.
"The man was on the list of OCAD," said federal prosecution magistrate Eric Van Der Sypt, referring to the organization that assesses the terrorism threats in Belgium.
Van der Sypt said the suspect shouted "holy shit! Allahu akbar," the Arabic phrase for "God is great," during the stabbing attack, which occurred around the usually busy Brussels Nord station just after evening rush hour.
The suspect was identified as Yassine M, born in Brussels in 1990. His common-law crimes put him behind bars between 2013 and 2019.
On Friday, he faced charges of "murder and attempted murder within a terrorist context," Van der Sypt said.
Brussels prosecutor spokeswoman Sarah Durant said the suspect had made "unhinged remarks" during a discussion with officers hours before the attack. Since he voluntarily asked for psychological help, he wasn’t arrested and was instead sent to a hospital, which he left soon after.
After the stabbings, the suspect was almost immediately shot and maimed by another police officer who had rushed to the scene. The condition of the attacker wasn’t disclosed, but authorities said that he was still hospitalized Friday and unable to be interrogated.
Belgian authorities kept the overall terrorist threat level at two out of a possible four, meaning the risk of an attack was "medium."
Authorities came under immediate criticism for not arresting the suspect when he made his initial threats to the police early Thursday, but Durant said procedures stipulate that he had to be taken by police to a hospital since he had asked for psychological help himself.
"Police remained there until hospital staff took over," she said. A few hours later, when police checked on his whereabouts, "it appears that the person had left the hospital."

[BIANet] Five people from Afghanistan have been found stabbed to death in an apartment in the Altindag district of Ankara, the capital.
The police found the bodies in the address reported to them by the relatives of the dear departed people, who said they could not reach them, the state-run Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.
The motives of the killings are not yet clear, according to a statement from the Governor's Office of Ankara. Prosecutors are investigating the incident to find the perpetrators, it said.
Haberturk TV reported that the people appeared to have died about a week ago, citing anonymous security sources.
Altindag is a low-income district with a significant refugee population. Over the years, there have been sporadic attacks on refugees in the district.

[IsraelTimes] FBI ...Formerly one of the world's premier criminal investigation organizations, something for a nation to be proud of. Now it's a political arm of the Deep State oligarchy that is willing to trump up charges, suppress evidence, or take out insurance policies come election time... says Omar Alkattoul, 18, pledged allegiance to Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... leader, researched previous mass shootings and wrote as if he had already attacked a synagogue
Federal prosecutors have arrested and charged a New Jersey teenager with murderous Moslem Islamist views with making the threat that led to a sweeping FBI warning for the state’s synagogues last week.
Omar Alkattoul, 18, of Sayreville, New Jersey, is charged with one count of transmitting a threat in interstate and foreign commerce for an murderous Moslem manifesto he shared on Nov. 1 on an undisclosed social media network. He faces up to five years in prison.
Alkattoul had pledged allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State and researched how to obtain firearms and past mass shootings, according to the criminal complaint against him filed Thursday by the US Attorney’s Office in New Jersey. The complaint alleges that Alkattoul published a manifesto online that had been written as though he had already carried out an attack.
The detection of his manifesto caused the FBI to warn the Jewish community in New Jersey, which immediately activated security protocols at communal institutions. A day later, the FBI said the threat had been eliminated.
"No one should be targeted for violence or with acts of hate because of how they worship," US Attorney Philip Sellinger said in a statement. "There is nothing the US Attorney’s Office takes more seriously than threats to our communities of faith and places of worship."
Titled, "When Swords Collide," Alkattoul’s manifesto was written as if he had already attacked a synagogue, according to prosecutors. Multiple murderous Moslems have published manifestos immediately prior to committing violent mostly peaceful attacks, including against Jews.
"I am the attacker and I would like to introduce myself," the manifesto reads. "I am a Moslem with so many regrets but I can assure you this attack is not one of them and Insha’Allah many more attacks like these against the enemy of Allah and the pigs and monkeys will come."
The manifesto continues, "I did target a synagogue for a really good reason according to myself and a lot of Moslems who have a brain. Let’s be aware of the fact that the Jews promote the biggest hatred against Moslemeen even in the west." The manifesto included a section on "why hatred towards Jews is a good thing even if they’re not Zionists."
Federal Sherlocks probed Alkattoul’s devices and interrogated him several times to understand his views and help determine his level of commitment to carrying out attacks against Jews.
He told Sherlocks his radicalization had happened over a year on social media following his encounter with a video showing followers of the late Israeli murderous Moslem Meir Kahane "laughing and sharing photos of dead Arab children and praising the people who killed them," according to the criminal complaint against Alkattoul.
Alkattoul was also found to have praised Dylann Roof, the white supremacist who murdered nine Black worshippers at a South Carolina church in 2015.
In messages to other murderous Moslems and comments to Sherlocks, Alkattoul expressed hesitation about actually carrying out any attacks. He repeatedly said "he didn’t have the balls" for the type of violent mostly peaceful acts he envisioned, according to the complaint. He also said he didn’t want to go to prison or get shot and that he didn’t want to disappoint his family.
Alkattoul is scheduled to appear Thursday afternoon before a federal judge.
[IsraelTimes] Five others arrested in overnight raids; no injuries to Israeli security forces; makeshift submachine gun found near Nablus, pistol near Hebron, along with Jenin suspect’s weapons
A suspected terror operative accused of being involved in the killing of a veteran police commando earlier this year was arrested by Israeli troops in the West Bank city of Jenin, Israeli officials said.
According to a joint statement by the Israel Defense Forces, Shin Bet security service and Israel Police, the suspect, Sadki Ahmed Ali Marai, was arrested during a daylight raid in the northern West Bank city.
The IDF said Marai, 23, was a "high-level bully boy operative" responsible for a series of shooting attacks against Israeli troops in recent months.
Marai is also accused of being involved in the gunfire that killed Command Sgt. Maj. Noam Raz, as troops were wrapping up a raid in Jenin in May. Another suspect in the shooting was killed by troops last week.
The military said troops seized an M16 rifle and two handguns in Marai’s vehicle.
During the operation, the IDF said troops shot up a Paleostinian who hurled an bomb at them. Paleostinian media reports said the man was hurt in the leg. Aim higher
No Israeli soldiers were hurt in the operation, officials said.
The IDF said in a statement that troops operated in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, near Ramallah in the central West Bank, and in Qalqilya and several small towns near Nablus in the northern West Bank.
There were no injuries to Israeli forces during the operations, and all of the suspects were taken by the Shin Bet security agency for further questioning.
In the village of Burqa near Nablus, troops detained one terror suspect and seized a makeshift "Carlo" submachine gun, the IDF said.
In Dura, near Hebron, two wanted Paleostinians were arrested and a handgun was seized by forces, the IDF said.
There were no reports of major festivities during the IDF’s arrests operations early Thursday.
[IsraelTimes] Israel shutters Jalamah checkpoint, which has been recently been targeted in numerous such attacks; button men flee
Paleostinian button menshot up the Jalamah checkpoint in the northern West Bank on Thursday, causing damage to a building but no injuries and prompting the Defense Ministry to close the crossing.
"The crossing has been closed and security forces are conducting scans in the area," the ministry said. The Paleostinian button men apparently expeditiously departed at a goodly pace.
Jalamah crossing, near the Paleostinian town of the same name, has been the target of numerous shooting attacks in recent months.
In September and last month, the crossing was also temporarily shuttered following separate attacks.
The checkpoint is predominantly used by Arab Israelis who travel to the Paleostinian city of Jenin and the surrounding area for business or leisure, and by Paleostinians who need to travel to Israel for work.
The closure is expected to take an economic toll on the Jenin area.
Earlier Thursday, Israeli troops arrested a suspected terror operative accused of involvement in the killing of a veteran police commando earlier this year in Jenin.
In recent months, Paleostinian button men have repeatedly targeted military posts, troops operating along the West Bank security barrier, Israeli settlements and civilians on the roads.
The number of shootings has decreased in recent weeks, following major gains by the IDF against the Nablus-based Lion’s Den terror group, which had grabbed credit for near-nightly shooting attacks.

⚫️ Seven people have been killed in fighting between the #Philippine_military and Muslim rebels in the country's south, authorities said Thursday, in one of the deadliest clashes since a landmark peace pact was signed in 2014.#jusoor_postpic.twitter.com/uUsvgvTEE5
[BenarNews] The Philippine military and Moro Islamic Liberation Front, a former rebel group that signed a peace deal with Manila in 2014, agreed to a truce ending two days of deadly fighting on southern Basilan ...Basilan is a rugged, jungle-covered island in the southern Philippines. It is a known stronghold of the Abu Sayyaf, bandidos, and maybe even orcs. Most people with any sense travel with armed escorts... island, officials said Thursday. The rare fighting marked the fiercest and bloodiest outbreak of violence between government and MILF forces in almost eight years. The military said three of its soldiers were killed and 13 others were maimed in the fierce festivities, which began on Tuesday afternoon and lasted until Thursday morning in and around the village of Utilan.
Military officials could only account for three deaths and an undetermined number of maimed among More Islamic Liberation Front members. A source related a MILF combatant had told BenarNews on Wednesday that as many as 10 fighters on their side were killed.
Representatives of both sides who sit on a bilateral body, the Coordinating Committee on the Cessation of Hostilities, had met "to halt the tension triggered by miscommunication," the chief of the military’s Western Mindanao Command (WestMinCom) said on Thursday.
"We are currently employing ceasefire mechanisms to pacify the situation," Brig. Gen. Arturo Rojas said, adding that troops deployed to the area were instructed to "protect the integrity of the grinding of the peace processor."
"I ordered the troops to strengthen their defensive position to avoid [more] casualties and collateral damage," he said.
The fighting broke out on Tuesday in Utilan, where MILF fighters were believed to be "coddling" suspected faceless myrmidons who were involved in twin bombings that maimed two people in the capital of Basilan in May.
The violence started when MILF members allegedly shot at a security detail escorting Lt. Col. John Ferdinand Lazo, the commander of the 64th Infantry Battalion, who had arrived on site to open a dialogue with the MILF people.
After a lull on Wednesday night the fighting resumed on Thursday morning, but the guns have since fallen silent after both sides ordered the ceasefire, officials said.
"We thought there’s already peace, but the MILF again provoked (us), they shot up our troops," Brig. Gen. Domingo Gobway, commander of the military’s Joint Task Force Basilan, told news hounds Thursday.
The festivities forced nearly 1,500 families from six villages to flee their homes but no civilian deaths were reported, the military said.
On Wednesday afternoon, the three Philippine Army soldiers were killed when they were ambushed by MILF forces during a mission to resupply soldiers on the frontline, said Lt. Col. Abdurasad Sirajan, front man for WestMinCom.
The fighting was the first major clash between government forces and MILF members since January 2015, when 44 police commandoes were killed by MILF forces as they entered a rebel stronghold to arrest a Malaysian hard boy bomber named Zulkifl bin Hir (alias Marwan).
Marwan was killed in the raid, but a breakdown in coordination and communication led to the clash. The MILF later told a congressional inquiry in Manila that their forces thought they were being attacked.
Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., the Philippine president’s adviser on peace, reacted with alarm to the news about the latest fighting by saying it could not be allowed "to negate the major gains we have achieved over the years," news reports quoted him as saying in referring to a fragile peace in the southern Bangsamoro region.
The Moro Islamic Liberation Front now controls an autonomous Moslem region in the southern Philippines. In 2014, the guerrilla group signed a peace accord with the government that ended decades of fighting.
On paper the MILF has ceased to be a rebel group, with some of its members having applied to join the government’s military and police forces. While the MILF has agreed to order its members to turn in and decommission their firearms, officials and analysts have warned that many guns remain in the hands of former fighters in the field.

[IsraelTimes] ’Agent’ of Iran ...They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... International network is suspected of slandering Islamic Theocratic Republic, causing riots and spreading terror, according to semi-official news agency
Iran has arrested an employee of a London-based opposition news station as an "agent" suspected of fueling recent anti-regime rioting, the country’s semi-official Fars news agency reported Thursday.
The Iran International worker was stopped while trying to flee the Islamic Theocratic Republic, it said.
"Recently, the agent carried out numerous activities and actions in slandering the Islamic Theocratic Republic, inviting youth to riot and creating terror among the people," according to the report.
Iran accuses Iran International, a Persian-language satellite news channel once majority-owned by a Saudi national, of stoking recent nationwide protests that have escalated into deadly violence. The broadcaster in recent days said the Metropolitan Police warned that two of its British-Iranian journalists faced threats from Iran that "represent an imminent, credible and significant risk to their lives and those of their families."
On Tuesday, Iran’s intelligence minister, Esmail Khatib, called Iran International a "terrorist" organization, Rooters reported.
The arrest came as protests in Iran raged on streets into Thursday, with demonstrators holding a 40th-day remembrance for a bloody crackdown in the country’s southeast, even as the nation’s intelligence minister and army chief renewed threats against local dissent and the broader world.

The Pentagon has managed to cloak US military activity in and around Deir ez-Zor governorate and northeast Syria. To what extent the US retains its base there (which was under attack in late 2021-early 2022) is unclear. What benefit we derive from protecting the Omar Oil field is also unclear. The Syrian government has been perfectly aware of the US presence and actually seems to support it even though it has termed US presence in Dier, Hasakak and Raqqa “state piracy” employed to steal Syrian natural resources.
Why no reporting? I realize that American media is lazy, but is its activity in the region proscribed?

Local sources told North Press that a night-time protest took place today’s evening near Newroz Roundabout at the city center of Afrin. Protesters rolled their eyes, jumped up and down, and hollered poorly rhymed slogans real loud against the HTS and the presence of its security services in Afrin.
Protesters demanded the HTS to leave Afrin and hand the city back to the Ottoman Turkish-backed Syrian opposition factions, also known as Syrian National Army (SNA), according to the same sources.
The Protest started amid tight security measures, while the factions of Hamza Division and al-Amshat, both allies to HTS, set up joint checkpoints on the Afrin-Kafr Janneh road to prevent activist muppets from the cities of al-Bab and Azaz of reaching the city.
The sources pointed out that it was supposed for the demonstration to start on Friday but the supporters of the SNA’s Third Legion marched on Thursday evening.
