[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Masila Petroleum Exploration and Production Company (PetroMasila) has announced that exploration and production of oil in its oil fields in Shabwah province, eastern Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... had been suspended.
The company said in a statement that it had halted exploration operations in the Jannah field in Usaylan district, as well as oil production and pumping operations through the pipeline linking to the Naqaa reservoirs.
The statement confirmed that production had stopped in the Jannah field, which was controlled by the American Hunt Company, due to the fullness of the tanks in al-Nashima port, which were supposed to be emptied last week.
This came after warnings launched by the Sana’a government, calling on foreign companies to stop looting and tampering with the oil wealth of the eastern provinces of Yemen.
In the past two days, Petromasila Company has suspended export operations from its oil fields in Hadhramaut, for the same reasons.
The French company, Total, had earlier announced the suspension of exports from the Balhaf gas facility in Shabwah, following the Yemeni warnings to foreign companies looting petroleum wealth.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Just the usual vicious inter-gang posturing.
Dog ran through the streets of Monte Escobedo, Zacatecas State with a human head in its jaws late Wednesday
It snatched it from a crime scene in violence-ridden Mexican state
Police have not identified the victim but killings has been linked to cartels
The head was left on a cardboard placard with a message apparently signed by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), one of the most feared cartels in the world headed by El Mencho, the most-wanted person in Mexico.
The message named an adversary belonging to the Operativo MZ cartel and read: 'The next head is yours.'
The victim has not yet been identified and the rest of his body has not been found.
Zacatecas has been the scene of a bloody, extended turf war between local gangs backed by the Sinaloa and Jalisco drug cartels.
Drug cartels in Mexico frequently leave notes alongside heaps of dismembered human remains, as a way to intimidate rivals or authorities.
El Mencho is not only wanted by Mexican authorities but also the Untied States government, which is offering a $10 million reward for information leading to his arrest and/or conviction.
Under his leadership, that Jalisco New Generation Cartel has a presence in 32 states throughout Mexico and the nation's capital, Mexico City, the Drug Enforcement Administration noted in its 2020 National Drug Threat Assessment Report.
The cartel also expanded across the border to 11 states in the United States, including Hawaii, and the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico.
El Mencho's American-born daughter, Jessica Oseguera, was released from a California prison in March, after serving 25 months at a low-security federal prison.
She pleaded guilty in March 2021 to laundering money for the criminal organization.
El Mencho's son, Rubén 'El Menchito' Oseguera, is currently in U.S. custody facing gun and drugs charges that could land him in jail for more than 15 years.
Authorities considered him the heir to the cartel's throne and was the organization's second-in-command prior to being arrested by Mexican security forces in June 2015. He was extradited to Washington in February 2020.
The first group of Australian women and kiddies held in a Syrian camp since the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group fell in 2019 was bound for Sydney despite government opponents arguing they pose an unacceptable Death Eater threat, a media organization reported on Friday.
The four women and 13 children had left the Roj detention camp in northeast Syria on Thursday and were taken to Iraq before boarding a flight to Australia, Australian Broadcasting Corp. reported.
They would be the only Australians involved in the Islamic State campaign in the Middle East to be officially repatriated apart from the eight offspring of two slain combatants. The fighters' children and grandchildren were returned by the previous Australian government in 2019.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese did not comment on the details of the ABC report. He also would not say what would happen once the group reached Australia or whether they would be monitored.
"My government will always act to keep Australians safe and will always act on the advice of the national security agencies," Albanese told news hounds.
Home Affairs Minister Clare O'Neil also declined to comment.
"Given the sensitive nature of the matters involved, it would be inappropriate to comment further," her office said in a statement.
Australian officials had assessed the returning group as the most vulnerable among 60 Australian women and kiddies held in Roj, the ABC said. Most of the children were born in Syria.
Their return would likely be the first step in repatriating all Australians detained in Syria, the ABC reported.
Senior politicians in the previous conservative government that was voted out of office in May elections after nine years in power say their administration did not repatriate more Australians from Syria because of the domestic risk they would pose if they had been radicalized.
Opposition leader Peter Dutton said that view firmed after a confidential briefing from Mike Burgess, director-general of the Australian Security Intelligence Organization, the nation's domestic spy agency known as ASIO.
"I must say that I am more strongly of the view now that there is a very significant risk in bringing some of these people to our country that can't be mitigated, frankly. Not to the level we would require to keep Australians safe," Dutton said earlier this month.
"We need to understand how it is with limited resources ASIO and the Australian Federal Police can provide the guarantees to keep the Australian public safe," Dutton added.
Albanese said on Friday his government had acted on national security advice just as his predecessors had done when the eight children were repatriated.
Australian allies in the Middle East conflict including the United States, Germany and La Belle France have already repatriated dozens of their citizens in similar circumstances in Syria.
A British woman who repatriated with her child this month became the first adult to be allowed back into Britannia from a Syrian camp since Islamic State fell.
