MASS GRAVE DISCOVERED IN KANDAHAR — The Taliban announced the discovery of a mass grave with at least 16 bodies near Spin Boldak in Kandahar Province. Several purported relatives of the victims claim that they were killed by the previous regime’s security forces. Local leaders have called on the Taliban and the international community for an impartial investigation.
TALIBAN ACCUSED OF EXPORTING TERRORISM — The National Resistance Front (NRF) released a story claiming that the Taliban were preparing to send 16 senior leaders of various militant groups across the borders to Central Asian countries. Some of the leaders are al-Qaeda affiliates, while others are ethnically tied to Uzbek, Tajik, and Uyghur militant groups that are already established in several neighboring countries. The claims come after several nations in the region expressed concerns at the UN General Assembly about the potential of “exported terrorism”. There is no hard evidence of the NRF’s claim, and it is possible that the NRF are taking advantage of these concerns to drum up anti-Taliban sentiment for their cause.
NO BEARD, NO PUBLIC SERVICE EXAM IN PAKTIKA — Taliban proctors turned away beardless candidates who were attempting to take exams for positions in the directorate of public health, effectively barring candidates without beards from public service.
THE DOSTUM EFFECT — After Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum called for outright civil war in Afghanistan last week, several GDI (Taliban Intelligence Agency) agents were seen interviewing some of Dostum’s past associates and colleagues in Herat. Some may be under arrest, but it is not currently known how many have been arrested and on what charges. At-risk Afghans who had relations with the Marshal should take precautions.
TALIBAN PREPARE FOR PANJSHIR OFFENSIVE — The Taliban are reportedly staging an offensive in Panjshir’s Paryan district with several hundred fighters and approximately 70 vehicles. Sources indicate that their targets are two NRF positions in the district. In potentially related reporting, over one hundred vehicles were seen being taken out of Bagram Air Base on Monday evening under heavy Taliban escort. Their destination is not known, but it seems likely that they are being sent to the North to take part in offensive operations. We assess this reporting as accurate, and violence may be imminent.
CONFLICT TRACKER Badakhshan: The Taliban have launched an operation against an NRF position near Shiran. Takhar: Unidentified gunnies executed 2 in the provincial capital. A local eyewitness said those killed were aligned with the Resistance, No group has claimed credit for the murders.

TAJIK GOV’T SECURES BORDER — Tajik border forces are expected to continue reinforcing their checkpoints along the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border. Small convoys were seen arriving at three border crossings on Saturday, but larger convoys are staging at two Tajik military bases in order to transport more troops and weapons to the border. Observers believe the moves are a direct response to the Tajik Minister of Foreign Affairs’ recent provocative statements at the United Nations. No unusual activity has been observed at Taliban border crossing facilities at this time.
[ShabelleMedia] Unknown button men have murdered a trader in Mogadishu, the Somali capital in the latest series of assassinations in the seaside city in the past months.
A witness confirmed that two assailants with pistols rubbed out Dahir Jugle, a young man who used to run a shop in Wadajir district. It’s unclear the motive behind the killing.
The culprits expeditiously departed at a goodly pace before the security forces arrived, according to the witness.
The slain businessman is said to be hailing from Adado city in central Somalia, where an offensive against al-Shabaab ...... Somalia's version of the Taliban ...Arabic for students... , functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda... is underway.
Mogadishu has seen increasing attacks since the election of current president Hassan Sheikh, who pledged Somalia at peace with itself and the world.

The "loud" played no part in his death, it was the codeine. It has the same effects as an opioid overdose with breathing problems being the start of the overdose.

Gunmen suspected to be holy warriors have killed a police inspector identified as Idris Musa at Makera quarters, Kwakware community, along Katsina-Jibia Road in Katsina State.
The holy warriors stormed the community on Monday at about 7am shooting sporadically while chasing a bus conveying some passengers, Channels TV reports.
However, a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package... efforts made by the dear departed Police Inspector to repel the terror group proved abortive, even as they returned fire to him, leading to his death.
After shooting him dead, the bandidos were said to have burnt his vehicle after which they kidnapped an unspecified number of passengers, whisking them away to a location yet to be determined.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Oh, Austin. OK.
Activists with black self-defense groups held an armed 'Second Amendment Unity Walk' on Saturday in Austin, Texas ....home of an active Black separatist community, including NFAC (Not F---ing Around Coalition), a Black nationalist group with the usual military-like structure, fielding an army of hundreds of heavily armed men and women with a cadre of former American military veterans. NFAC claims to despise Black Lives Matter as effete. In 2021 they established an autonomous zone within an eleven mile perimeter called Orisha Land confiscated from the center of Austin, with a secondary, failing farm commune in the Colorado Rockies. Founder Grandmaster Jay (John Fitzgerald Johnson), who started out reasonably sane, last year concluded we live in a period of apocalyptic tribulation signaled by the movements of celestial bodies, and then was convicted by the feds for...stuff. He was supposed to have been sentenced a month ago, but I can’t find information on the sentence...
where they marched to the State House
The group called for President Biden to close the borders and demanded reparations for descendants of enslaved people and a hate crime bill protecting Black Americans
The group was led by the The Elmer 'Geronimo' Pratt Pistol & Rifle Gun Club
Several other groups were involved including the Black Riders Liberation Party ...founded in 1996 and inspired by the original Black Panthers, the “revolutionary socialist” Black national group claims to organize Black gang members to together “stand up against white supremacy and capitalist oppression." They first marched in Austin for Black armed self defense in 2015, alongside the local, also Black Panthers-inspired Huey P. Newton Gun Club.
The march comes after Texas Gov. Abbott sent two buses of migrants to VP Kamala Harris' home and Gov. DeSantis sent a plane of 50 migrants to Martha's Vineyard
Harris slammed Republicans for 'playing games' with human lives for busing migrants across the country
[Rudaw] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... announced late Sunday that it launched a probe into the "provocative" actions of supporters of a football club who waved the flag of Kurdistan in celebration of their team’s victory earlier in the night.
Diyarbakir-based Amedspor club earned three important points in the sixth gameweek of the Ottoman Turkish Second Division with a 2-0 victory over guests Bursaspor, climbing up to the seventh place on the table with nine points.
As the match played out on the field, the scenes from the stands stole the show as thousands of Amedspor supporters waved the Kurdistan flag and held up pictures of famous Kurdish figures including those of Mahsa (Zhina) Amini, whose death in the custody of Iranian forces has sparked local international outrage over the last week.
"Those who want to poison sports with provocative content will not be given the opportunity under any circumstances," read a tweet from the Ottoman Turkish interior ministry following the match adding that "necessary interventions" were made against the supporters and an investigation was initiated.
The Ottoman Turkish state has at times denied the existence of Kurds, with the use of the word "Kurdistan" also often creating controversy in the country. The raising of the Kurdistan flag has often been suppressed by Ottoman Turkish authorities as well.
The statement from the interior ministry sparked controversy among the Kurdish community online, as well as a number of Ottoman Turkish officials.
"The Kurdistan Regional Government is a constitutional part of Iraq. Why should a flag be a crime when the authorities come from there?" said Kani Torun, the Secretary-General of the right-leaning Future Party.
The flag of Kurdistan has previously been displayed at Ottoman Turkish airports when welcoming official delegations from the Kurdistan Region, which has also drawn a lot of controversy.

[Rudaw] Iranian shelling of Erbil province’s Sidakan continued on its third consecutive day on Monday, sparking fear among locals.
The mayor of Sidakan, Ihsan Chalabi, confirmed to Rudaw that shelling in the area continued into the third day. Tasnim news agency, affiliated with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), claimed that the bombardment was targeting bases of Kurdish opposition groups.
The shelling has become a nuisance for the at least 100 families living in the villages of Rashkin, Darhol, and Binpareza in Sidakan.
"At least 50 artillery pieces landed," Ahmed Saeed, a villager in the Barbazin area told Rudaw’s Bakhtyar Qadir on Sunday. "By God, they were falling like rain right near our houses," he added, describing the bombardment.
"Our family, including children, were screaming. What should we do? We are forced to flee."
No casualties have been reported since the beginning of the latest wave of shelling which comes at a time of growing unrest in Iran ...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence... over the killing of young Kurdish woman while in detention last week.
"They were shelling us mercilessly," another local, Zana Surchi, said.
IRGC-affiliated media Fars News on Saturday defined the attacks on both the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI) and Komala, both Kurdish-Iranian opposition groups with bases in the Kurdistan Region, as a "response to the evil support of the anti-revolutionary elements for the disturbances and actions of thugs and with the aim of punishing and extorting these groups".
"Unfortunately, many other areas deep into [the Kurdistan Region] are targeted on the pretext of hitting the military bases of the Rojhelat parties [Iranian Kurdish opposition bases]," Chalabi said.
A top official from the KDPI on Sunday told Rudaw English that the shelling by Iran has been unable to target the Kurdish party.
"Iran has been using several different artilleries and weapons to attack the Sidakan area where our Peshmerga are located since 3 pm yesterday without a stop," Kawa Bahrami, commander of the KDPI’s Peshmerga said. "But while there has been a lot of damage to people’s farmlands, our forces remain unharmed."
Several armed Iranian-Kurdish opposition parties, including KDPI, have bases in the Kurdistan Region mountains and are periodically shelled by Iran. They frequently clash with Iranian security forces in the Kurdish areas of western Iran.
Iran’s series of shelling this time around comes as protests against the murder of Mahsa or Jina Amini in Iranian police custody have erupted in several countries across the world and domestic demonstrations continue despite the use of violence by security forces, as well as continuous raids on houses of protestors.

[IsraelTimes] Authorities say masked individuals throw Molotov cocktails, rocks at law enforcement officers; 14 suspects arrested for causing disturbances in Old City earlier in the day
Violent festivities broke out between Israeli security forces and Paleostinians in East Jerusalem for the second night in a row late Monday, as Israelis celebrated the Rosh Hashanah holiday.
Dozens of masked rioters lit trash cans, threw Molotov cocktails and rocks, and shot fireworks in the direction of forces at several locations across East Jerusalem, according to a police statement.
No injuries or damage were reported. Border Police were deployed across the area to enforce order and clear the protesters using riot dispersal methods, police said.
A video uploaded to social media on Monday night appeared to show the arrest of several young men by Border Police in the A-Tor neighborhood.
Security forces remain on high alert amid a crackdown on terror groups in the West Bank, and concerns of terror attacks during the Jewish High Holidays.
Security presence has been bolstered in the West Bank and Jerusalem in order to deal with the mounting threats. In recent days, several violent mostly peacefulfestivities have occurred between Paleostinians and police in East Jerusalem and in the al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount.
Earlier on Monday, police arrested 14 people suspected of rioting and causing disturbances in Jerusalem’s Old City. According to police, a group of young Paleostinians barricaded themselves overnight in the Temple Mount’s al-Aqsa Mosque and began launching fireworks and attacking security forces when Jewish pilgrims visited the site.

They go in for rabble rousing, riots and harassing Jews on the Temple Mount, funding Hamas, and social services in Arab villages in the Galilee. It’s estimated 10% of Arab Israelis are associated in one way or another with either the militant Northern Branch or the political Southern Branch and its Ra’am Party.
Clashes also took place around the nearby Lion’s Gate to the Old City, with police saying rioters threw rocks at officers.
On Sunday, shortly after Rosh Hashanah started, Paleostinian rioters shot fireworks at Border Police in the Silwan neighborhood in East Jerusalem. No injuries were reported.
Earlier on Monday, an Arab Israeli man was handed over by police to the Shin Bet security service for questioning in connection with an apparent attempt to derail a train in northern Israel by placing an obstacle on the railway tracks.
Police said there was no damage or injuries as a result of the incident, which occurred on the Rosh Hashanah holiday when the trains were not running.

Though there was no official statement from Gantz’s office due to the holiday, an Israeli official confirmed the talks and said the two also discussed the current security situation.
