[Newsweek] "I want to use what I have learned as NIAID Director to continue to advance science and public health and to inspire and mentor the next generation of scientific leaders as they help prepare the world to face future infectious disease threats."
[THEHILL] CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... anchor Ace Newshound Jim Acosta ...CNN's showboating White House correspondent... clashed with former acting Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Chad Wolf on Sunday over his claims of election fraud.
The exchange quickly became heated as Acosta pushed Wolf, who served under former President Trump, to say whether President Biden justly won the last election.
"Who won the 2020 election?" Acosta asked after Wolf expressed concern over voter fraud and irregularities.
"Obviously Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem mschine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family... is president," the former HHS secretary responded.
"No, no, no," Acosta retorted. "Do you believe that he won that election fair and square?"
Wolf again answered the question indirectly.
"Joe Biden is president," Wolf said, adding that he didn’t have all of the evidence needed to conclude that Biden’s victory was legitimate.
Wolf cited Wisconsin’s use of drop boxes to back up his claims of fraud, noting that polling consistently shows a lack of confidence in election security among Americans.
"There are a number of irregularities, illegalities and fraud," Wolf said before Acosta interrupted.
"Not enough to alter the outcome of the election," the CNN anchor shot back.
Acota slammed Wolf, accusing him of undermining democracy and leading Americans down a "path of lies."
"It sounds like you’ve watched one too many conspiracy theories on the 2020 election," Acosta said as the segment came to a close.

...formerly the "Cable News Network", now who know what it might stand for...
We called it the 'Clinton News Network' back in the day. Perhaps that hasn't changed.

"Not enough to alter the outcome of the election," the CNN anchor shot back." An admission that it wasn't the cleanest, fairest, most just election in American history? Or that all elections were worse?
Either way ifs the first chip in the monolithic narrative.

"Not enough to alter the outcome of the election,"
That is actually quite a walk-back from the original "No evidence of widespread election fraud". NPR has been hitting the election integrity theme pretty hard lately, with frequent mentions of "Trump's Big Lie" and the phrase "election denier".
Traffic analysis would suggest they are worried about something.
[The Hill] In a three-minute presser following the FBI raid on Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... ’s Mar-a-Lago home, Attorney General Merrick Garland cut a defiant figure, condemning critics of the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI: "I will not stand by silently when their integrity is unfairly attacked." He then left the stage without taking questions or answering that criticism.
It was a signature moment for Garland, who often responds to controversies with belated, rote remarks. His brief comments had all of the substance of a Hallmark card that read, "Trust us, we’re the government." Yet trust has to be earned, not simply demanded.

The problem is that would require that he still has a little bit of honor.

A President is the ultimate authority on document classification, so if Trump declassified all he was taking with him while he was still President then possession of classified documents could not be an issue, right? But what if Biden ‘reclassified’ them? If it was a law that changed it would not be valid, but it’s essentially an EO so. …?

[NYPOST] A city principal convicted of car insurance fraud kept her employment with the Department of Education — and even got a fat raise — despite what school Sherlocks called her "pattern of dishonesty."
The DOE gave Oneatha Swinton, the former acting principal of Port Richmond High school in Staten Island, a sweetheart deal to stay on despite the criminal rap along with findings that she improperly funneled $100,000 in school funds to a vendor, and "failed to safeguard" 600 DOE computers, printers and laptops which vanished under her watch.
Instead of terminating Swinton, 43, as recommended by the Special Commissioner of Investigation for city schools, the DOE gave her an unspecified place in its Office of Safety and Youth Development with a $187,000 salary plus health and pension benefits — $25,000 more than she made when arrested in 2018 for insurance fraud. Officials refused to give a title or description of her new gig.

It would be interesting to see how she characterized her frauds on the bullets of her resume. Maybe I have been going after this employment game the wrong way.
