[Epoch Times] The couple had gone to Providence Saint John’s Health hospital for help with Victor Javier’s persistent hiccups.
Instead, the 54-year-old was allegedly improperly diagnosed with COVID-19, treated with Remdesivir and Dexamethasone without consent, and never came home.
The complaint alleges that Dexamethasone not only worsened Javier’s hiccups and diabetes but also contributed to his blindness, leg amputations, and eventual death. No dates provided; I am guessing 2021.
"Victor’s risk of death dramatically changed for the worse when he was given high-risk and contraindicated drugs Remdesivir and Dexamethasone without the knowledge, or informed consent, of Victor or Maricela," the complaint states.
"Victor Javier did not receive a diagnosis or treatment for his hiccups and instead was diagnosed with COVID-19."
"Remdesivir is an intravenous infusion given over five days but what they fail to tell people is that it causes acute kidney failure and it also can cause liver failure," said Dr Bryan Tyson, an El Centro physician who advocates for the use of Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.
"Remdesivir is one of these failed antivirals that the National Institutes of Health has been trying to use for Ebola and so here’s a way to ’make our money back. Let’s use it and see if it works for coronavirus,’" he said. I guess he'll be an 'expert witness' testifying for the family.

[NYPOST] Three people — including a young child — were shot during a youth football game at a high school in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, on Sunday.
A 6-year-old girl, a 30-year-old man, and a 52-year-old woman were all struck by gunfire when shots rang out in the stands of a football field at Oakland Technical High School just before 1:20 p.m., the East Bay Times reported, citing police.
The victims were among several hundred people watching a football game between a Fresno area team and an Oakland team in the 10-year-old youth league when the bullets flew.
EMS responded to the scene and rushed the 30-year-old man to an area hospital for two gunshot wounds to his feet and lower torso, according to the local outlet.
The 6-year-old girl, whose family ran her to a nearby home to call an ambulance, was also shot and rushed to a hospital in stable, pH balanced condition, police later learned.
A few hours later, around 3 p.m., the 52-year-woman who suffered a gunshot wound to her leg during the same shooting, walked into a third hospital, police told the East Bay Times.

[Breitbart] San Francisco held its “Kink and Fetish” sex festival on Sunday despite the spread of the monkeypox virus among homosexual men. Organizers said they took precautions such as putting booths ten feet apart and requiring vaccination cards for coronavirus and monkeypox to enter the venues.
“Things that used to be audience participation are not, to keep people from smooshing together,” Angel Adeyoha, executive director of Folsom Street, the group that produces the Up Your Alley event,” said in a San Francisco Chronicle report. “We’re trying to keep people from smooshing together.”
The Chronicle reported:
[The event] still didn’t match the packed-in scene of years past. The estimated total crowd was 7,000 through the course of the day, compared with a more typical year that would see about 10,000, police said. Police estimated it peaked at 2,000 to 3,000 around 4 p.m.
City officials declared a public health emergency for monkeypox just days before the Dore Alley fair. COVID-19 testing was offered by the Department of Public Health. There was no monkeypox testing, and you had to look to find a preventative leaflet about the virus.
[Washington Free Beacon] Shaun King's social justice PAC is going to the dogs. Literally.
Grassroots Law PAC, which the progressive grifter founded to elect soft-on-crime local officials, paid roughly $40,000 since December to the California-based Potrero Performance Dogs, according to campaign finance disclosures. The payments are labeled for "contractor services," making their purpose difficult to discern. But days after a $30,650 payment in February, King welcomed a "new member of the King family": an award-winning mastiff bred by Potrero named Marz. Really, when they re-purpose this money to their private lives, at least it's not going to fcuk up our society.
King, who has been hounded
*giggle*
for years by allegations of fraud, has not been accused of any wrongdoing in relation to Grassroots Law. But the payments for a dog raises questions about whether the former Bernie Sanders surrogate is using PAC contributions the way donors intended.
"This luxury dog expense may not be illegal for a PAC, but it shows little respect for King's donors," said Scott Walter, the president of Capital Research Center, which investigates left-wing groups. An heiress of the Hormel meatpacking empire is the PAC's largest donor. Facebook cofounder Dustin Moskovitz and his wife donated millions of dollars to Real Justice PAC, which King launched in 2018 and works closely with Grassroots Law.
Grassroots Law PAC, which aims to "elect candidates who are committed to reducing mass incarceration and police violence," has spent nearly as much on King's pet as it has on political candidates. The PAC has contributed around $56,000 to political candidates since 2021. It paid $10,000 to Potrero in December and another $30,650 on Feb. 16.
King has come under fire over the years amid repeated failures at his various social justice endeavors. The mother of Tamir Rice, a 12-year-old Ohio boy killed by police, said King "robbed" her by holding unauthorized fundraisers in her son's name. A former King ally, DeRay Mckesson, has publicly accused him of fraud. Real Justice PAC was ordered in December to pay $30,000 to the city of Philadelphia for campaign finance violations in the race to elect District Attorney Larry Krasner (D.).
King has denied allegations of fraud, chalking his failed projects up to poor management or false claims from his enemies. He released an audit in 2019 that said he received a $4,166 monthly salary from Real Justice PAC and "no compensation at all" from Action PAC, the predecessor to Grassroots Law PAC. He said he was "literally the only person" on Action PAC's staff who does not get paid.
"I have not received a salary or a stipend of any kind for the entire year," he claimed. "I do it all for free."
While King said Marz would provide "alertness and protection" alongside duties as a family pet, it appears the thoroughbred is no longer in the activist's care. Potrero Performance Dogs showed Marz at an American Kennel Club competition earlier this month, where he won Best in Show. The breeder said in a social media post this month that Marz was back in its care because "he's got a little too much energy to be a family dog so he came back."
Potrero, Grassroots Law, and King's media company did not respond to requests for comment.

[TheDrive] Chief Master Sergeant Rob Wellbaum had been the last airman still on duty to have served as an aerial defense gunner.
Whenever someone retires, it marks the end of an era in their personal life. When U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant Rob Wellbaum leaves the service he’ll end an entire era of aerial combat as America’s last bomber tail gunner.
On May 12, 2017, Wellbaum retired after three decades in the Air Force. When he first joined up in 1987, the non-commissioned officer had signed up for Specialty Code 111X0—Aerial Defense Gunner.
“I went into the recruiter’s office and asked them what jobs they had for enlisted [personnel] to fly,” Wellbaum recalled in an interview. “My recruiter listed off loadmaster, boom operator, and B-52 aerial defensive gunner. The gunner job sounded like the coolest job out of the three so that is what I applied for.”
For the next five years, he served in that role on a B-52 Stratofortress bomber. This aircraft – more lovingly referred to as the Big Ugly Fat Fellow, or BUFF – was the last in service to even have a tail gun.

All right. I'm never going to be a Pelosi fan. That said, as of right now (which can always change) the Chinese look toothless here. China’s response so far today:
- Cyber attack against Taiwan President’s Office
- Closed air space to civilian aircraft over the straits
- Civil defense sirens now sounding in China
- Chinese fighters heading for the straits
- Massive land force mobilization along the coast
Whoever wrote her remarks (all I have is what's being reported out there, so if the reports are wrong, that's on me for passing it along) is saying stuff that nobody at the White House, NSC, Pentagone or DoS would be caught dead saying:
"Our delegation’s visit to Taiwan honors America’s unwavering commitment to supporting Taiwan’s vibrant Democracy.
Our discussions with Taiwan leadership reaffirm our support for our partner & promote our shared interests, including advancing a free & open Indo-Pacific region."

China will not invade as it lacks the transport capability. If it loses major face, it will attempt something but this is not losing face for it.
This is a PR win for China internally as it allows them to keep the population whipped up into nationalistic support while the economy crumbles and the people's wealth gets stolen.
Win for internal China, win for US grandstanding. Only way this fails is if some asshat actually does shoot.

I have heard that they are more likely to blockade the island. A barrage would likely damage economic assets. An opposed amphib landing would just be a bloody swim meet. If the response is taking out the Three Gorges Dam, the bloody swim meet will be in a different location.

99% of them can't transport tanks or heavy supplies. I doubt much will come from this. 30,000 troops with no supplies or tanks can be landed at one time. Little chance of them surviving until the next wave comes in 6 hours later. And don't bet on your transport ability to stay static every time. Boats will be sinking right and left on the approach and departure.

Super, the 3 gorges dam will wipe out “fauceihan” and spread more killing viruses through China and the world. That would be the target that I would choose.

China has infiltrated us. I am sure that Taiwan is also infiltrated. I am not sure what the defense would look like. Without that consideration, you have to own the air, sea and beach to make an opposed landing work. Civilian boats could work if you have every other superiority. If the attack is tried and fails, the CCP will be under new management.

Just spitballing here. The first two Chinese carriers and their support ships are at sea. The third carrier that they launched last month undergoing sea trials. It of course has no aircraft. If you really wanted to roll the dice, that third carrier could haul a lot of material across the straits and be relatively bullet resistant whilst doing so. I think it’s too risky a subterfuge for the Chinese at this point in time. Far better to keep wearing down the Taiwanese fighter pilots and airframes with constant probes. Eventually too many birds will be in check simultaneously and a window of opportunity will have been created for a kinetic strike. Best option is to be patient and co-opt the island peacefully. But sometimes folks get impatient …
#30
Part of the Chinese strategy has to be to make any US decision to support Taiwan as difficult as possible. Attempting a cross-strait invasion while a senior member of the US gummint (whatever we here may think of her) is actually on the island makes the US decision relatively easy.

[Breitbart] Chinese dictator Xi Jinping used his weekend address to the Central Conference on United Front Work to make more aggressive use of that deeply suspicious Communist organization for radicalizing and weaponizing Chinese people living in Western nations.
China’s "United Front" system is an elaborate network of well-funded influence operations that infiltrate and co-opt groups outside the Chinese Communist Party, and for that matter outside of China. The United Front is basically a system for injecting the ideological toxins of Chinese Communism into every group that looks vulnerable and useful.
Some "United Front Work" looks respectable and above-board, disguised as diplomatic programs, cultural outreach, and charity efforts. The United Front also engages in covert subversive activities and supports outright espionage from the regime in Beijing.
One of the most pernicious programs overseen by the United Front Work Department is the Confucius Institute, a network of supposedly benign Chinese language and cultural training programs at American universities. The Confucius Institutes were largely shut down by the U.S. government and university management over the past few years, but they are making a comeback under different names.

In the lame duck session. If the 2020 election was not on the up and up, it would be stupid to have both players on the same ticket subject to a blanket impeachment. #6
The stores would normally donate "short code" items to the Food Bank ('charity' tax write-off). Those items are being left on the shelf until the date expires and then disposed of (landfill or some hog farmer) because of possible legal hassles.
TL/DR: the pipeline of food from the producer to the customer just doesn't have the surpluses they had back when OrangeManBad™ was president.

Besides the periodic inventory shortages as certain kinds of products are quickly sold out as store shelving remains far less filled, there is the ridiculous downsizing of product. Bath soap like Irish Spring now at 60% size, or the Sarento Cheese slices now 10 per package, down from 12 a year ago. But what I have noticed most recently is packaged food product with visible damage offered at full price. Things that two years ago would have been taken off Quality Control lines now passed. Dented cans, torn or damaged boxes still on the shelves. This is the sign of shortages and empty supply chains. What likely follows is empty shelves. Welcome to the Soviet Shopping Experience...
Commentary by Russian blogger Andrey Chervonets
[Chernovec] Pristina decided to postpone for 30 days the introduction of new rules for the entry of Serbs into Kosovo, planned from August 1.
Previously, it was decided that from today the identity cards issued by the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs should be considered invalid, and all cars should be re-registered to Kosovo numbers.
These requirements also apply to ethnic Serbs living in the region and their relatives from central Serbia. Such measures will significantly complicate the life of the Serbian population of the region and are in fact a violation of the Brussels agreements.
Yesterday, Pristina unilaterally closed the Brnjak and Yarinje border checkpoints, and also suspended the passage of cars with Serbian license plates through the Rudnica checkpoint. Kosovo security forces were pulled to the border, and the Serbian army was put on alert.
The reaction of the Serbs was very sharp. Serbs in Kosovska Mitrovica built barricades on the road and prepared for clashes with the Kosovo security forces.
The 30 days for which the solution of the issue has been postponed is nothing more than a tactical pause on the part of the Kosovo authorities. They saw how strong the rejection of the abolition of Serbian passports, Serbian car numbers on the part of the Serbian community is. And they will prepare.
#1
This issue is a catalyst. If Kosovo lets this go, next week it will be something else. The Serbs are still butthurt over not getting Kosovo. We are going to revisit this war in the next year...

[Miller] This global drive to “vaccinate” the human race did not come out of nowhere, but was preceded, over decades, by “public health” campaigns that variously readied people for it, by expertly convincing them that their lives, and their children’s lives, depended utterly on their obeying, without question, the dictates of “public health,” however needless and/or risky they may be.
That preparatory process has been underway for quite some time; but it accelerated in the Eighties, when the vaccination schedule for our children started growing radically (some might say metastasizing) into the relentless poisonous assault it is today. That push increasingly entailed the demonization of all those who wouldn’t go along, whether on medical grounds or for religious reasons, all such heretics now fiercely vilified as “anti-vaxxers.”
I write this as one whose family has been variously ravaged by that program (which killed my nephew, Giovanni, at two months old), and as a friend to many parents of vaccine-injured children. Such hard experience is now especially poignant, as this murderous faux-vaccination drive continues to kill children, along with countless others of all ages, all around the world.
The unprecedented horror of this drive, and the imperative to stop it, now require that we all take a critical look back at its pre-history, from the fateful rise of “Rockefeller medicine,” to the polio scare, to the HIV/AIDS scam, and the over-vaccination craze that started shortly after it, casting all those who would not comply as fools or monsters.
In furtherance of this urgent re-examination, please watch, and share, The Repeal, a new short documentary on the legal fight waged, in 2019, by the Amish in Seneca County, New York, when the state sought to ban religious and medical vaccine exemptions—an effort that foretold the COVID “vaccine” propaganda that flared up the year after.
[Defense One] U.S. Special Operations Command has chosen L3Harris Technologies to supply up to 75 attack planes based on a cropduster aircraft in a deal that could be worth $3 billion.
It’s a huge win for the the country’s sixth-largest defense contractor which in recent years has looked to grow from a Florida-based electronics supplier to a lead contractor of high-end weapons and a disruptor among its larger peers.
"This rugged, sustainable platform will operate in permissive environments and austere conditions around the world to safeguard our Special Operations Forces on the ground," USSOCOM Commander Gen. Richard Clarke said in an emailed statement.
L3Harris’ aircraft is a weaponized Air Tractor AT-802, a turboprop agricultural aircraft that typically flies around 150 mph. The initial contract awarded Monday is worth $170 million, but could reach $3 billion by 2029 if all of the options are exercised.
"We decided to take a clean-sheet approach to this program to align with the requirements," L3Harris CEO Chris Kubasik said during the company’s quarterly earnings call last week. "[The] team has spent a fair amount of money in [research and development] and capital. We've had lots of demos that have gone well that we think position us in a good place to potentially win this program."

All the manufacturing jigs are long gone for the A-1 Skyraider so I guess this will do... There are things that the Network-centric™ Stealth™ Supercruise™ Wunderwaffe are just too bloody expensive to use for.

The Skyraider. A P-47 on steroids. A Warthog with a propeller. Badass aircraft, no matter how obsolete it is.

We built a number of them for the counter drug, INL, contract in South America. They are not the sky raider. They are an armored air tractor. They can lift a ton, have multiple pylons and the PT6 and pilots cockpit is fully armored. A really cool slow speed ground support aircraft.

My favorite aircraft model picture was the side on view of a Navy A-1 Skyraider with a big, Black 'Mig kill' marking... :Heh: Some poor fool decided to do a head on pass.
