[Breitbart] More than six dozen illegal aliens, including children, were found in stash houses — likely operated by the Mexican drug cartels — in a wealthy region of Washington, D.C., a new report reveals.
According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) records, reviewed by NBC News, the illegal aliens were found in a raid that saw agents search six stash houses in the nation’s capital.
Stash houses are seemingly most common along and near the United States-Mexico border. The report indicates that the human smugglers associated with the Mexican drug cartels have forged a significant smuggling route for illegal immigration to Washington, D.C.
NBC News reports:
Immigration agents found 73 migrants living in houses operated by human smugglers in the Northwest area of Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, according to internal documents reviewed by NBC News. [Emphasis added]
The migrants, 60 adults and 13 children,
...someone has to supply the market now that the Lolita Express is shut down permanently...
were discovered by Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations team as part of an operation that targeted six residential homes believed to be operated by human smugglers. The agents also found $95,000 and a small amount of cocaine,
“Just for personal use, Y’r Honourness. In case Hunter stops by.”
the documents said. [Emphasis added]
The northwest quadrant contains some of the city’s most affluent neighborhoods, and the median home price is $750,000, according to Redfin data. The documents don’t give addresses or neighborhoods for the houses where the migrants were living or say how many were being held in a single house. [Emphasis added]
The raid comes as D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) has requested the National Guard after more than 4,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have traveled to the region in recent weeks after arriving at the southern border and being released into the U.S. interior as part of President Joe Biden’s expansive Catch and Release network.
“I’ve asked for the deployment of the Guard as long as we need the Guard to deal with the humanitarian crisis that we expect to escalate,” Bowser said this week.
Those more than 4,000 border crossers and illegal aliens arriving in D.C. are a fraction of what American border communities face every day thanks to the Biden administration’s lax enforcement agenda.
In Texas border towns, alone, nearly 130,000 border crossers and illegal aliens were caught crossing the border in June. Most recently, in the small town of Normandy, Texas — with a population of just 29 residents — about 400 border crossers and illegal aliens crossed into the area this month.
From February 2021 to May 2022, more than a million border crossers and illegal aliens have been released into American communities.

Just call the stash house the DC bus station and problem solved. Blame Texas
[MAIL] Graham Palmer, 37, and Scott Jones, 38, were part of the ring which tried to smuggle cocaine, methamphetamine and ecstasy into the country before their yacht ran aground and an elephant seal blocked them as they tried to flee from police.
The pair were sentenced in the Australian Supreme Court today alongside US citizen Jason Lassiter, 47, and Angus Jackson, 53, from New South Wales after their comical heist led them into the hands of police.
The group attempted their daring plot in September 2019 after hatching the plan in Thailand, and Palmer, along with skipper Antoine Dicenta, 53, who has admitted his guilt but not yet been sentenced, set sail from Madagascar.
Their yacht named Zero picked up 380kg of cocaine, 344kg of MDMA and 171kg of methamphetamine at a South African port worth an estimated one billion Australian dollars (£570billion), then-police commissioner Chris Dawson said.

[OneIndia] A terrorist has been killed in an encounter that took place in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... on Saturday, July 30.
The encounter broke out at the Wanigam Bala areas of Baramulla district in North Kashmir. "Baramulla Encounter Update: 01 terrorist killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow, " a police statement read.
The encounter broke out after the security forces cordoned off the area following a tip off about the presence of bully boyz in the area.
There have been a series of encounters between the bully boyz and security forces across Kashmir in the past few months. The forces have shot full of holes several top bully boyz and commander of various terror groups that operate in the Valley.
[GEOTV] With Pakistain logging hundreds of COVID-19 cases everyday, the National Institute of Health, Islamabad (NIH) has advised strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), including mask wearing and social distancing during Muharram gatherings.
Gathering and majalis to remember the Shuhada-e-Karbala (deaders of Karbala) have started as the country observes the first day of the month of Muharram to mark the beginning of the new Islamic year today (Sunday).
Pakistain reported only a single death from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the NIH data showed Sunday morning.
As many as 661 new infections were detected in a single day as the country's nerve centre in the fight against coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... performed diagnostic tests on 20,080 samples across the country.

for several years now al Sadr has been denouncing Iran's influence in Iraq
I don't know what Iran did that ticked al Sadr off (maybe it was nothing) but give al Sadr credit for picking a good issue. It ended up giving him over twice as many seats in Parliament as the next highest party. That was Oct 2021.

[DW] The unnamed Swedish citizen had been monitored over several trips due to "suspicious behavior," according to state media, citing the Intelligence Ministry.
State media in Iran ...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence... on Saturday reported the arrest of a Swedish national on spying charges.
"The Intelligence Ministry announced that a citizen of the Kingdom of Sweden was arrested on espionage charges," state news agency IRNA said.
"The suspect had been under surveillance by the Intelligence Ministry during several previous trips to Iran because of [their] suspicious behavior and contacts ... for visiting cities that were entirely outside of tourist destinations," the news agency quoted the ministry as saying.
Sweden's Foreign Ministry said it was aware of the case. "This is a known and ongoing case which the Foreign Ministry has been working on for a while," a spokeswoman said in an emailed comment to the Rooters news agency.
SWEDEN AND IRAN'S STRAINED RELATIONS
Relations between the countries have soured of late. Earlier this month, a Swedish court sentenced a former Iranian official to life in prison for participating in the 1988 mass killings of locked away Book 'im, Mahmoud! dissidents.
The conviction and sentence has led to fears of reprisals against Western prisoners held by the Islamic Theocratic Republic.
Iran slammed the verdict, with the Foreign Ministry saying it was "politically motivated" and had "no legal validity."
Tehran summoned the Swedish charge d'affaires and handed him a note of protest.
Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard has arrested dozens of dual nationals and foreigners in recent years, mostly on espionage and security-related charges.
Rights groups have accused the Islamic Theocratic Republic of trying to win concessions from other countries through arrests on trumped-up charges. Tehran denies the accusations.
Iran said on Saturday it had arrested a Swedish national on allegations of espionage, without providing details on the suspect’s identity nor the date of their detention.
The statement said the suspect was in touch with several other figures in Iran, and has visited Israel, Iran’s foe. The statement accused Sweden of proxy spying for Israel.
In early May, the Swedish foreign ministry said a Swede in his 30s had been arrested in Iran.
It was not immediately clear if the announcement on Saturday referred to that man or another Swede.
"In all the previous trips, the suspect... communicated with a number of European and non-European suspects who were under surveillance in Iran," the statement read.
"The suspect in question re-entered the country a few months ago after the arrest of another European spy" to collect information, it alleged, adding the suspect had been taken into custody while leaving Iran.
The intelligence ministry said the suspect had visited Israel, the Islamic republic’s arch-enemy, before going to Iran.
It also alleged Sweden had "supported several proxy spies" for Israel, including Ahmadreza Djalali, a Swedish-Iranian academic sentenced to death in the Islamic republic.
Djalali’s sentence was issued in 2017 after he was convicted of passing information about two Iranian nuclear scientists to Israel’s Mossad spy agency that led to their liquidations.
He was granted Swedish citizenship the following year.
His case was followed by the trial in Stockholm of Hamid Noury, a former official in Iran’s judiciary accused of war crimes over the killing of prisoners in Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites.... during the 1980s.
Noury received a life sentence from a Swedish court on July 14. Iran dismissed the verdict as "political" and has called for his release.

[An Nahar] Hezbollah members clashed overnight with residents of the southern border town of Rmeish, prompting the army to intervene to contain the situation.
During the clash, residents of the town reportedly urged UNIFIL forces to protect them from "button men surrounding the town."
According to media reports, the incident started when a Rmeish resident was chopping wood in the Qatmoun area in the outskirts of his town. But "Hezbollah members intercepted him and prevented him from continuing his work, opening fire in the area," the reports added.
On social media, Hezbollah supporters accused the Rmeish man of "cutting trees to expose a resistance post, as Israeli bulldozers were also cutting trees on the occupied side of the border." Other Hezbollah supporters meanwhile said that the incident will not affect Christian-Moslem coexistence in the area.
Anti-Hezbollah activists meanwhile said that "after the tough response from Bkirki against Haret Hreik in the wake of the detention of Archbishop Moussa al-Hajj, Hezbollah has started provocations in the border areas, as if the Christians of the Lebanese south are an easy prey."
