Though even James Bond did not frighten her,
Unlucky in love was Miss Lightner,
For he shot out the eye
Of that brave Yankee spy
Who attempted to make him confide in her.

Apprehensions seems like a misleading term in a catch and release policy. More accurately they were delayed in their invasion and given a hydration, bathing and rest break so that they can end up at their final destination less tired, less smelly and ready to drywall.

[Garowe] Somalia-based al-Qaeda-linked al-Shabaab ...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord... Lions of Islam on Tuesday morning attacked a Forward Operating Base [FOB] manned by the AU Transition Mission in Somalia [ATMIS], reports indicate, in the latest raid which comes days to the presidential election in the country.
The Horn of Africa nation is expected to hold a presidential election in the coming weeks after the successful conclusion of House leadership polls which saw the opposition take control. Aden Sheikh Madobe and Abdi Hashi won speaker seats in the Lower House and Senate respectively.
And according to officials in Middle Shabelle, a region prone to al-Shabaab attacks, the Lions of Islam targeted the peacekeepers in one of the frequent attacks that comes months before the African Union ...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful... officially hand over security responsibilities to the Somali National Army [SNA].
Eyewitnesses say the attack started with large explosions from a suspected suicide boom-mobile outside the El Baraf Forward Operating Base, which is situated about 160Kms north of Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.
One of the eyewitnesses told news hounds that he was forced to wake up following a massive explosion in the region. The Burundi Defence Forces contingent serving in ATMIS mans the base which came under attack.
Al-Shabaab group, which has since taken responsibility, claimed that it managed to kill 59 ATMIS soldiers working within the vicinity besides injuring tens of others. The holy warriors, however, did not give proof through their proxy media outlets.
"The Mujahideen launched a pre-dawn raid on an ATMIS [African Union Mission]military base in El-Baraf, middle Shabelle region," al-Shabaab said. After a fierce firefight, the Mujahideen managed to overrun the base and are now in complete control of the entire military base."
The latest reports suggest that al-Shabaab seized the base and torched military vehicles belonging to the African Union troops.
So far, the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia is yet to confirm the attack. Should the team confirm the raid, then it will be the worst since the Kulbiyow raid which targeted Kenya Defense Forces [KDF] and left over 70 soldiers dead in 2017.
A year before that, the al-Shabaab also attacked the KDF base at El-Adde in the Gedo region which also leftover 200 soldiers dead. The government of Kenya, KDF, and ATMIS are yet to issue a public report with regard to what may have transpired on both occasions.
AU forces dispatched helicopter gunships after the pre-dawn car bomb and gun attack on a camp housing Burundian peacekeepers near Ceel Baraf, a village about 160 kilometers (100 miles) northeast of the capital Mogadishu, the sources said.
"There was heavy fighting and casualties inflicted on both sides, but we don't have more details about this incident so far," local military commander Mohamed Ali told AFP by phone.
"They launched the attack with a car bomb blast before a heavy exchange of gunfire broke out," he added.
"Al-Shabaab gunmen stormed the camp early morning, there were heavy blasts and exchanges of machinegun fire. The Burundians vacated the camp and entered Ceel Baraf village before helicopters arrived providing aerial support," said one witness, local resident Weliyow Maalim.
"The helicopters fired missiles and heavy machine guns, we saw smoke rising over the camp but we don't know about the situation exactly," said another witness, Ahmed Adan.
ATMIS replaced the previous AMISOM peacekeeping force when its mandate expired at the end of March.
The new mission has the task of helping Somali forces take primary responsibility for security in the troubled Horn of Africa nation.
Under a UN resolution, ATMIS is projected to gradually reduce staffing levels from nearly 20,000 soldiers, police and civilians to zero by the end of 2024.
Insurgents from the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... -backed faction of Boko Haram ...Nigeerian Islamist group, formerly paying homage to al-Qaeda, then, when the money ran out, to the Islamic State, and headed by nutcase Abu Bakr Shekau. Once he exploded in a gunfight with ISWAP, many in the group surrendered to the govt and others went with their new overlords. The remainder are a shell of their former selves, stmbling glassy-eyed and lonely through the Sambisa Forest and the soothing waters of Lake Chad, asking themselves What is truth?, or maybe just I wonder what's for dinner? I hope it's not rhinocerous again! ... , the Islamic State West Africa Province formerly known as Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihād, are currently attacking Kautikari village of Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State.
SaharaReporters gathered that the murderous Moslems invaded the town on Tuesday, shooting sporadically as residents of the community fled into the forest for safety.
Soldiers stationed at a military forward operation base (FOB) in Kada, just 2km away from Kautukari, were also dislodged by the Death Eaters.
"My community is under attack, this is the fourth attack this year alone, please pray for us," a resident told SaharaReporters.
In December 2021 and January 2022, Kautikari was experienced attacks by murderous Moslems who kidnapped many women and kiddies.
Also, a church in the community was razed by the murderous Moslems during the attacks.
Attacks in Chibok areas and particularly the recent one in January 2022 made the Borno State governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, visit the area to encourage the people as well as the security operatives stationed in the local government to remain strong.
During his visit, the governor met with the families of 22 women and two men kidnapped by the murderous Moslems and asked them to continue to trust in God through prayers.
Since the death of JAS leader, Abubakar Shekau ...the lunatic leader of Boko Haram who has been reported dead at least eleven times, pledged his body and soul to ISIS, told his fighters to hang it up once or twice, and been fired by the Caliph and refused to step down. Last seen in 2017, sneaking into Cameroon while wearing a burka... , ISWAP has been consolidating its grip in locations around Lake Chad.
The sect’s membership has swollen with the defection of hundreds of Boko Haram fighters under Shekau.
The Nigerian Army has repeatedly claimed that the insurgency has been largely defeated and frequently underplays any losses.
The terror group has caused the death of thousands of Nigerians and the displacement of millions of others, mainly in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states.

Remember when Boko Haram kidnapped hundreds of school girls there was a big outcry... but nobody cared about the fact that Boko Haram burned school boys alive.
Nor, for that matter, did many people seem to think it worth mentioning that Boko Haram kidnapped those schoolgirls as part of their ongoing jihad against Nigeria's Christians. Mostly it was portrayed as being the result of misogynistic rape culture.

Are we looking at the early stages of a LSD/DOJ Trap?
Who's to say now that TWITER is once again FREE OPEN SPEAK, that some LSD lawyers will use it to sue him/Twitter for facilitating a riot that lead to private property destruction and bodily harm?
Then suddenly the DOJ/Federal Courts will want to address the issues that they avoided like the plague before?
OR
What if several Left-leaning ISP's will decide to ban TWITTER from the internet stream due to Domestic Terrorist activities.

We will see violence calling for the government to assert more centralized control of reproductive issues. Frogs protesting that the pot has been turned down to simmer are bizarre and pathetic.

Didn't The Bee predict Blamtifa riots this Summer, just a couple weeks ago?
[IsraelTimes] A Paleostinian suspect was arrested by Israeli troops after attempting to cross into Israel from the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... Strip.
The Israel Defense Forces says the unarmed man was detained at the southern section of the fence. He is being questioned at the scene, the IDF adds.
[Rudaw] Over a dozen people were arrested inside the notorious al-Hol camp in northeast Syria (Rojava) on charges of cooperating with the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. (ISIS), a day after the body of an Iraqi refugee was found in the camp, a conflict monitor reported on Tuesday.
Internal security forces (Asayish) arrested 23 people suspected of having ties with the terror group at al-Hol, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) with a ground network in Syria said.
The monitor claimed that the detainees were a part of a "terrorist cell which was preparing to carry out violent mostly peaceful acts and explosions" through north and northeast Syria.
The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested droves of Islamic State (ISIS) fighters and their families when they overran ISIS's last stronghold in Syria in March 2019. Many of these people were taken to al-Hol, which is now home to around 56,000 people — mostly women and kiddies of different nationalities.
Located in Hasaka province, al-Hol has infamously been branded a breeding ground for terrorism, with Kurdish and Iraqi authorities describing the sprawling camp as a "ticking time bomb," saying the situation in the camp is "very dangerous."
ISIS sleeper cells are active in the squalid camp and violence has recently escalated.
Six deaths were reported at the camp in April, including five women and one man, and all were attributed to be victims of ISIS killings.
Security forces in late April raided the camp in search of weapons over the deteriorating security situation.
