[JustTheNews] Congressman's comment in response to question about how life in Washington compares to its portrayal in TV show "House of Cards"
Freshman Rep. Madison Cawthorn says that during his roughly 14-months in Washington, D.C., he has been invited to orgies and fellow lawmakers have done cocaine in front of him.
The North Carolina Republican made the comments on a recent episode of "Warrior Poet Society" podcast.
Cawthorn discusses the ways in which political life in Washington, D.C., compares to the TV show "House of Cards."
Just before the four-minute mark of the episode, Cawthorn says that during his time in government lawmakers to whom he has looked up throughout his life have invited him to orgies.
"I look at all these people, a lot of them that I’ve looked up to through my life, I've always paid attention to politics. Then all of the sudden you get invited to: 'Well hey we’re going to have kind of a sexual get together at one of our homes, you should come,'" the first-term congressman host John Lovell.
"I’m like: 'What did you just ask me to come to?" Cawthorn continued. "Then you realize they are asking you to come to an orgy."
Cawthorn then remarked that some of the people who are "leading on the movement to try and remove addiction in our country" have done illicit drugs in front of him. "You watch them do, you know, a key bump of cocaine right in front of you and it’s like 'Wow, this is wild," he said.
Cawthorn's marriage ended after just eight-months, with he and his ex-wife acknowledging the difficult transition to public life.

these people that I’ve looked up tothrough my life, .... Then all of the sudden you get invited to: 'Well hey we’re going to have kind of a sexual get together at one of our homes, you should come'
"Through my life" means... they've been in politics for 20 plus years... We knew Miss Lindsey was a kinkster, but McConnell?? Didn't know the ol' turtle had it in him

I suppose that’s one way to really get to know the people one will be working with...
We knew Miss Lindsey was a kinkster
You knew. This is one of many, many thoughts that never occurred to me, even though the infamous Senator Ted Kennedy only died in 2009, and his waitress sandwich buddy Chris Dodd was on Joe Biden’s VP vetting committee, though he left the senate in 2011.

Wealthy men working in DC, many far away from their family. Seems likely there would be a lot of hookers and mistresses. Seems unlikely they'd talk about, do it in front of someone they've only known a short while, or have orgies.

Scripted theater sold as an honest process. The MSM is now merely clandestine propagandists for the demokrat party. Verbatim questions in order and verbatim answers, except he can't deliver his lines consistently because in moments of clarity caused by the meds, he thinks he actually is a President, not a trained seal waiting for a pudding cup backstage.
[DW] A federal judge has found it "more likely than not" that Donald Trump ...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party... illegally tried to overturn the 2020 presidential election. The judge ordered John Eastman, a Trump lawyer, to turn over emails to Sherlocks.
A US federal judge on Monday found it "more likely than not" that former President Donald Trump illegally sought to obstruct congressional certification of the 2020 presidential election in an attempt to overthrow the elected government of Democrat Joe The Big Guy Biden

^ in 1998, according to Ballotpedia. Carter also previously ran as a Democrat to represent California's 38th Congressional District, but his efforts were unsuccessful, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"more likely than not"
That should hold up on appeal....and I'm a Nigerian prince.
[NYPOST] Hunter Biden’s former best friend, Devon Archer, has been betrayed and abandoned by the Biden family — and who could blame him for feeling aggrieved?
The president’s son, who once told Archer he was "part of a great family — not a sideshow, not deserted by them even in your darkest moments," won’t return calls to his former business partner.
Now, barring a last-ditch appeal by his lawyer, Archer has less than five weeks left before he has to go to jail to serve a one-year, one-month sentence over a fraud he says he had no knowledge his then-partners were committing, and which cost him his life’s savings.
Friends who attended the sentencing in Manhattan last month say that the father of three has mentally prepared himself for prison, and that his hopes for a presidential pardon have faded.
Prosecutors from the Southern District of New York two weeks ago rejected Archer’s arguments to postpone prison time and the forfeiture of his assets, warning that if his sentencing appeal is successful, "he might well receive a higher sentence."

It reads as if he's so shocked the Bidens let him down. A tool like that was never favored by Darwin. One for the 'Friends of the democrats' deathpool.

Well, consider this scenario: The dem brain trust decides very soon now that Joe will not be their candidate in 2024. That means Hunter must be rushed through the court system and convicted of whatever he is to be pardoned of before Joey's single term ends in January 2025. It would be risky to assume that any incoming dem successor would have any incentive to damage their own credibility by issuing a pardon to Hunter. There also exists the risk, however minor, that the next president won't be a dem at all. Should that occur, there will be no incentive whatsoever to pardon Hunter at all.

[JUSTTHENEWS] Three Milwaukee, Wisconsin, officials face accusations of illegally taking "Zuck Bucks" to facilitate voting by purchasing absentee ballot drop boxes, among other things, according to a lawsuit filed by the Thomas More Society.
The complaint, filed last week against Milwaukee Acting Mayor Cavalier Johnson, former Mayor Tom Barrett, and City Clerk Jim Owczarski, claims the officials violated Wisconsin's election bribery law by taking private donations from the non-profit Center for Tech and Civic Life, which is funded by billionaire Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg ...the Peewee Herman clone who owns Facebook. He's got more money than Croesus and thinks he should be regulated by the government because it does such a nifty job with all the other stuff it regulates.... and his wife, Priscilla Chan.
"This is representative of a national trend," Thomas More Society Special Counsel Erick Kaardal said in a blurb. "Sixteen states have now passed legislation to ban or regulate the acceptance and use of private funds by public election officers. Thomas More Society attorneys, prior to the 2020 election, were the first to litigate this issue. Thomas More Society lawyers filed litigation in nine states. "All of this litigation led to successful legislative action to ban this 'dark money.'"
Former President Donald Trump ...His ancestors didn't own any slaves... called Zuckerberg "a criminal" last year for reportedly spending hundreds of millions of dollars through the Center for Tech and Civic Life in the 2020 election.
The Thomas More Society has filed five lawsuits in Wisconsin. The Milwaukee follows cases in Racine, Green Bay, Kenosha and Madison, all of which asserted that officials violated election law by accepting money from the Zuckerberg-funded election group.
"We can’t undo the wrongs of the 2020 election," Kaardal said. "But it is incumbent upon us to ensure that the corruption that infected Wisconsin’s voting process is rooted out and that the state’s election integrity is preserved."
[NYPOST] Prosecutors leading the Hunter Biden tax probe are investigating his purchase of a $142,000 plug-in hybrid sports car whose manufacturer defaulted on a massive B.O. regime loan touted by his father, according to a report Monday.
Some of the testimony presented to a Delaware grand jury also appears to be intended to prevent the first son from mounting a defense based on his admittedly sordid history of drug and alcohol abuse, the Wall Street Journal said.
That testimony came from a former girlfriend, Zoe Kestan, 28, who last month testified about shacking up with Biden, 52, in swanky hotels in New York City and Los Angeles and making lavish purchases during 2018, a source familiar with the matter told The Post.

[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] President Joe Biden will propose a $5.8 trillion Fiscal Year 2023 budget Monday
It will include $32 billion in funding for law enforcement and crime prevention
Comes despite years-long calls from progressives to defund the police
Biden has distanced himself from this rhetoric going into the 2022 midterms
'We should all agree – the answer is not to defund the police, it's to fund the police,' the president said during his State of the Union address this month
Crime has been on the rise, especially in cities, over the last two years and Americans have expressed they don't feel safe in their communities
The FY2023 budget proposal will also include a 20% minimum tax on households worth more than $100 million

And the police will be lucky to see $32 Million.

Con men with lifetime political power. They go back again and again. I wondered what the DNC types would do with Putin cutting off their cash cow Ukraine.DNC alone was gifted 10 million.

Local policing is a local matter not federal. Maybe like Germany, they should spend less on virtue signaling and more on primary responsibilities of government like security.

There are 17,985 U.S. police agencies/dept. in the United States, which include about 654,900 sworn officers.
$32B divided by 654,900 = 48,862.42 each, divided by 12 months = $4,071.86 more per month.
Of course, it is more than likely the LEO's will only see a small raise.
It is more likely 90% of it will make its way into Local and State Politician's hands for "creative" Social Justice and Police re-training.
Either way, it sure sounds like a $$$ Around About BRIBE $$$ with hopes to get Police support in 2022 and 2024.

"The FY2023 budget proposal will also include a 20% minimum tax on households worth more than $100 million"
Notes:
* In 2021, the USA generated $6.6T in purchases/sales
* Had $19.5T GDP,
* and collected roughly $4.05T Tax revenue.
BTW: In 2021, the United States give $38B for foreign aid spending. With about 154M registered US voters that works out to about $246.75 for each voter. How much did you have to work to cover that donation?
OBTW: An average US Taxpayer gets hit with about 28.3% in total Federal Taxes. Or about $18,368 of an “average wage earner’s” salary. (according to OECD calculations)
The average annual wage in 2019 in the US was $51,916.27.
How about a 10% Flat Tax for EVERYONE with no deductions and political economy steering?
Because $5,196.00 sure sounds a lot better than $18,368.

Based on what I see on TV-News, maybe a deduction NOT TO have kids is a better idea. I feel assured the LSD crowd would likely account for 90% to 95% in line for the $$$$. ☻☺
