[BREITBART] Thirty people were shot, six of them fatally, during another weekend of deadly violence in Mayor Lori Lightfoot ...the diminutive and vacuous Heronner da Mare of Chicago. When the corpse count rises she blames the guns, which are banned anyway. A racist to the bone, Lori sez that people with the same skin tone all think alike, not quite getting the implications for a city with a population less than thirty percent black... ’s (D) reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... .Breitbart News reported 22 people were shot, five of them fatally, Friday into Sunday morning alone.
The most recent homicide at the time of Breitbart’s report was a 56-year-old man who was shot and killed at 3:20 a.m. Sunday while sitting in a car with a 41-year-old woman.
ABC 7 / Chicag0 Sun-Times notes that a 20-year-old woman was shot and killed about an hour later, around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
The woman was with a 23-year-old man "walking in an alley about 4:30 a.m. in the 4800-block of North Central Avenue" when someone shot at them, striking them both. The woman’s wounds proved fatal and the man is listed at death's door.
Over 750 people have been shot and killed in Mayor Lightfoot’s Chicago thus far in 2021, which leaves the city on tie or surpass the high homicide level seen in 2020.
The Sun-Times pointed out that Chicago reached the figure of 774 murders on December 31, 2020.

We can take comfort from the fact that the 27 W and 9 K are not the result oppressive police oppression, but merely the indigenous inhabitants engaged in acts of commerce and the settling of social disagreements.
[POLITICO] As Democrats seek to reach out to Latino voters in a more gender-neutral way, they’ve increasingly begun using the word Latinx, a term that first began to get traction among academics and activists on the left. But that very effort could be counterproductive in courting those of Latin American descent, according to a new nationwide poll of Hispanic voters.
Only 2 percent of those polled refer to themselves as Latinx, while 68 percent call themselves "Hispanic" and 21 percent favored "Latino" or "Latina" to describe their ethnic background, according to the survey from Bendixen & Amandi International, a top Democratic firm specializing in Latino outreach.
More problematic for Democrats: 40 percent said Latinx bothers or offends them to some degree and 30 percent said they would be less likely to support a politician or organization that uses the term.
At a time when Republicans appear to be making inroads among Latino voters, the survey results raise questions about how effectively the party is communicating with them, according to pollster Fernand Amandi and other Democrats and Latino vote experts.
"The numbers suggest that using Latinx is a violation of the political Hippocratic Oath, which is to first do no electoral harm," said Amandi, whose firm advised Barack Obama If you like your coverage you can keep it... ’s successful Hispanic outreach nationwide in his two presidential campaigns. "Why are we using a word that is preferred by only 2 percent, but offends as many as 40 percent of those voters we want to win?"

Hispanic has always been a geographic reference to "Hispaniola", making it distinct from Latin America. LatinX is the Dems attempt to blur/destroy those lines.

It's been a long day, Frank. I'm not looking for a medal. Just noticed I have been at it for a while today. Had an Atlas launch this morning and I haven't walked it off yet. That's all. No big deal.

France and Spain have Official National Academies that decide if a word is "proper" French/Spanish. The only question is whether they laugh first before they sneer and say "No!".

So, maybe laws should be passed that the mayor all his appointees are required to daily double dose of vaccine plus five boosters until the problem goes away. Oh and all 7 shots must be administered inside a 15 minute window. They'll be totally immune!

In my observations constituents are quite in line with Der Blasio. Camps and criminal prosecutions soon to follow. It is a mental state of mind that allows for no deviation. So things can only get much worse. Simply look at Democrat controlled areas. School meeting with concerned parents. Denial of service to exclusively non vaxed. Covid variants of all types to continuously stoke fear. The new normal. New way of living. Hardly but rather the death of a nation.

The commie only got s.t. like 15% of NYers to vote for him.
This is the city that not long ago overwhelmingly voted for Giuliani and Bloomberg multiple times with a mandate to take out the trash as it were. Maybe Eric Adams will show a little bit of spine.

Yeah, they were concerned about optics. They wanted the optics of that qanon buffalo guy wandering around the Capitol. They wanted the chaos the resulted from FBI agents provoking otherwise peaceful demonstrators to trespass on a building that was not secured. They wanted those optics so their media lackeys could portray it as an insurrection because Orange Man Bad.

[Free Beacon] The administration lobbies against a human rights measure to pave the way for a climate deal
As Vladimir Putin mobilizes forces on the Ukraine border and Chinese submarines patrol the Taiwan Strait, President Joe Biden’s State Department has made its priorities clear: The slave-made solar panels must flow.
Republican senator Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Democratic senator Jeff Merkley (Ore.) introduced a bill in January prohibiting the importation of goods made with forced labor from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, where a genocide perpetrated by the Chinese government is afoot. It passed the Senate in a voice vote in July.
It was more controversial at Foggy Bottom, where we now know that Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman and John Kerry, Biden’s special envoy for climate, have been lobbying their fellow Democrats against including the measure in the annual defense bill.
The reasons are equally comical and demented. Kerry is lusting for a Nobel Peace Prize for his climate work, which requires the cooperation of the Chinese. To hell with the Uyghurs so long as Kerry gets the international accolades that his failed presidential run and bumbling tenure as secretary of state didn’t give him.
Xinjiang is home to roughly half of the world’s supply of polysilicon, a raw material used to produce solar panels. A ban on its importation would send a message to the Chinese communists that the United States won’t tolerate its barbarous behavior.
Merkley deserves credit for his unwavering support for the bill. The same can’t be said for his Democratic colleagues: House leadership won’t allow any deliberations on China-related legislation this week, despite empty assurances from the White House that it supports the bill’s swift passage.

Kerry is lusting for a Nobel Peace Prize for his climate work, which requires the cooperation of the Chinese.
Smells familiar. Scratch a "liberal lusting for a Nobel Peace Prize for his climate [posturing]," and you'll see a Democrat ex-pol hungry to greenwash his grifting on the way to a nine-figure fortune.
What Kerry is attempting is what Gore did post-2000 on his way piling up $100 million from Silicon Valley payola and what the Clintons attempted with their influence-peddling "Foundation."
= Influence-peddling as 21st century Woke "virtue." No better symbol of the Age of Woke's moral rot.

It didn't start with the Uyghurs and it won't stop with them either. It's a pattern of behavior made famous by Adolf Hitler. I do not advocate war with China on behalf of the Uyghurs but I would not do business with the commie bastards either. I'd treat them the same way we did the Soviet Union. Senators Rubio and Merkley have proposed a baby step.
As for Kerry, it's easy for me to believe a creep like that would do a deal with the devil for a Nobel Peace Prize. Let him have it. Then, like when they gave it to Barack Obama, it would show the whole world just how meaningless the Nobel Peace Prize is.

Gee, the party of slavery, segregation and the Klan having no problems with the Chinese today doing what they used to do to blacks? Notice also that the most Islamic states across the region say squat about it too.
[Breitbart] Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) announced his retirement from Congress on Monday, effective "at the end of 2021," to join former President Donald Trump’s upcoming social media company.
Nunes said:
It has been my privilege to serve the people of California’s San Joaquin Valley for nineteen years in the U.S. House of Representatives. During this time, I fought hard in Washington for the interests and values of Valley families and to help my constituents resolve any problems they may have with a federal government agency.
Recently, I was presented with a new opportunity to fight for the most important issues I believe in. I’m writing to let you know I’ve decided to pursue this opportunity, and therefore I will be leaving the House of Representatives at the end of 2021. I will deeply miss being your congressman.
Although Nunes did not expand on his "new opportunity," Trump Media & Technology Group confirmed Nunes will be joining the company as CEO in a press release:
[WASHINGTONTIMES] President Joe Biden ...... 46th president of the U.S. We get to suffer the consequences. So does Afghanistan, aka Biden's Bungle...... announced an anti-corruption strategy Monday that targets cash transactions for real estate that might be used to hide ill-gotten wealth and calls on hedge funds to watch out for money laundering. The administration estimated that $2.3 billion was laundered through the U.S. real estate market from 2015 to 2020.
"The U.S. real estate market has become a significant destination for the laundered proceeds of illicit activity, including corruption," the White House said in a 38-page strategy that follows Mr. Biden’s June order to draft ideas. "We will make it harder to hide the proceeds of ill-gotten wealth in opaque corporate structures, reduce the ability of individuals involved in corrupt acts to launder funds through anonymous purchases of U.S. real estate, and bolster asset recovery and seizure activities."
Mr. Biden’s strategy calls for regulations that will detect corruption actors "hiding behind opaque corporate structures," elevate diplomatic efforts to protect whistleblowers and investigative journalists who expose corruption abroad and identify stolen assets in U.S. financial institutions that are linked to foreign government corruption.
The Treasury is tasked with creating a database, or "beneficial ownership registry," that helps law enforcement track the true owners of companies and track corruption schemes.
The president released his strategy after the Pandora Papers, leaked earlier this year, revealed how wealthy persons and government officials used offshore companies, secret bank accounts to move money around to avoid taxes or criminal detections.
Mr. Biden is hosting a virtual Summit for Democracy on Thursday and Friday with over 100 countries. It is designed to promote democracies and sideline autocratic countries.
"Corruption threatens United States national security, economic equity, global anti-poverty and development efforts, and democracy itself," Mr. Biden said. "But by effectively preventing and countering corruption and demonstrating the advantages of transparent and accountable governance, we can secure a critical advantage for the United States and other democracies."
