[Breitbart] Democrats and business allies are hiding two huge changes to legal immigration law under their media-magnified demands for the amnesty of illegal migrants.
But the rising GOP opposition is forcing the advocates to defend their power-grab as the Democrats’ “Build Back Better” spending bill faces a vote on Friday, November 5: “These provisions would be largest update to our immigration system in 30 years,” tweeted the Niskanen Center, which supports the expansion of legal immigration.
The bill offers fast-track green cards for just $5,000 to at least one million foreign temporary contract workers already in the United States. Those green cards would let them permanently work in the United States and also become U.S. voters in five years.
The green card giveaway would drain wealth and political power from the 800,000 Americans who graduate each year with technology-intensive degrees in healthcare, business, math, science, and engineering.
Those green cards also would not count against the nation’s roughly one million annual cap on legal immigrants.
Once the existing workers get their green cards, they will be quickly augmented by the next wave of low-wage, mid-skill foreign graduates who are recruited by the Fortune 500’s dangled promises of more fast-track green cards.
This migration process would allow many CEOs to do what they prefer: Subordinate a generation of outspoken U.S. graduates under a vast supply of clever and subordinate foreigners who will rationally work as lower-wage, compliant, indentured employees to get their life-changing green cards.
The green-cards-for-cash law will establish structural discrimination against millions of American graduates, said Rob Law at the Center for Immigration Studies. It will be “inherently impossible [for U.S. graduates] to compete [for jobs because] the foreign workers will always accept less pay because they also get the incredibly lucrative benefit of permanency in the United States,” he said.
This green-card-for-cash rule would also allow millions of other poor chain migrants to buy their way into Americans’ society, housing markets, jobs, and schools, at a price of just $2,500 per family. The bill exempts these chain migrants from the annual caps, despite the huge economic impact on Americans and legal immigrants.
The White House’s two-page “Statement of Administration Policy” hides the ball with a one-sentence reference: “The bill also includes important reforms to our legal immigration system, which will help reduce visa processing backlogs.”
House Democrats bury the giveaways in complex language on page 869 of the 2,135-page document, in a section titled “SEC. 60003. ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS.”
Democratic legislators and lobbyists are hiding the giveaway behind a television-magnified, brass band of ethnic advocates and elite-funded groups. These groups are keeping the media focused on illegal migrants by loudly urging an amnesty for millions of illegal migrants, via the much-publicized amnesty Plan A, the amnesty-by-registry Plan B, and amnesty-by-parole Plan C.
Reporters hide the ball, often unwillingly. The New York Times only said the plan would “allow green card applicants to pay higher fees to expedite their processing. The Washington Post only said the bill would “eliminate certain penalties that would allow people who applied legally to the United States for citizenship to receive their naturalization faster.” A tweet from Roll Call just said, “the green card recapture/application fees provisions that have been in the previous two House texts remain in the bill.”
House Republicans are not looking for the green-cards-for-cash plan, but instead prefer to chatter about the rush of migrants at the border.
Yet the growing pushback from three outspoken GOP Senators — plus the shock of the GOP’s Virginia win — is helping to force the green-cards-for-cash giveaway into the open.
“Democrats have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to modernize the existing U.S. immigration system,” said a November 2 letter to four Democratic Senators, ostensibly from a broad series of ethnic lobby groups, such as the Asian American Advocacy Fund or Sakhi for South Asian Women. The letter continued:
Presently, there are over 4 million [people] in the family-based backlog and over 1 million individuals currently stuck in the employment-based backlog … Provisions in the House reconciliation bill would provide an exemption from annual and per-country limitations upon the payment of a supplemental fee …
A close read shows that the letter is not signed by some of the major groups for migrants, such as United We Dream or Casa. Not is it signed by many of the groups in the progressive-funded WeAreHome.us campaign.
Instead, the letter is signed by proxies for many billionaires — Mark Zuckerberg’s FWD.us group of West Coast investors, Mike Bloomberg’s New American Economy, Laurene Powell Jobs’ Immigration Hub, and Silicon Valley‘s TechNet.
These Fortune 500 employers, investors, and real-estate companies will likely gain many billions in stock-market wealth if the bill becomes law. It provides them with a huge inflow of lower-wage, mid-skill, foreign college-graduate employees plus millions of taxpayer-aided, blue-collar chain-migration consumers.
The signers also include numerous groups that are funded or boosted by these billionaires. For example, Zuckerberg’s FWD.us investor-advocacy group helped create the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration, and has funded the Niskanen Center.
The letter is also signed by groups that stand to make money via more migration, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the National Immigration Law Center, and the trade association for corporate hiring managers, the Society for Human Resource Management.
This lobbying push is being led by Zuckerberg’s FWD.us network of coastal investors who stand to gain from more cheap labor, government-aided consumers, and urban renters. The network has funded many astroturf campaigns, urged Democrats to not talk about the economic impact of migration, and manipulated coverage by the TV networks and the print media.
[Breitbart] Nearly 160 ships on Friday are reportedly waiting outside Long Beach and Los Angeles port complex to unload goods, Bloomberg reported.
The backlog of cargo ships outside the complex, which receives about 40 percent of the containers from around the world, is likely a main driver in President Biden’s supply chain crisis. The supply chain crisis has fueled price increases in nearly every sector of the economy for American families and workers.
Of the nearly 160 ships waiting to dock and offload cargo, Marine Exchange estimates 102 vessels are containers ships waiting to move cargo onto the docks, including 76 ships that are anchored or loitering outside the bay.
The amount of ships waiting to unload goods seems to be increasing. Breitbart News reported October 19 that 100 ships were delayed from delivering goods – a record-breaking amount. Near the end of September, 60 ships were reported to be anchored and waiting to unload.
The backlog of vessels is due to the overflowing amount of containers at the ports. The ports are unable to move the containers onto trains or trucks quickly enough to keep up with supply. Breitbart News reported the backlog on the docks exist because ports are not releasing containers to truckers, though it is not known exactly why.
One challenge truck drivers are experiencing is California’s “climate change” red tape. The South Coast Air Quality Management District issued a rule in May that requires supply chain points to hire electric vans or trucks instead of trucks that have larger capacity, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Moreover, the state’s Air Resources Board has required truckers to reduce trucking emissions, making it more costly and difficult to transport freight from ports to warehouses.
Truck drivers, many of whom are immigrants, must not only keep up with California’s burdensome regulations, they are required to finance their own trucks, along with repairs.
If the truckers are late on a payment, become sick, or do not have money to repair the truck, the trucking companies fire the driver and repossessed the truck, along with any equity the driver has invested, USA Today reported.
The drivers who are not fired “sometimes end up owing money to their employers” and are unable to get out from under the debt. Unable to repay their employer, drivers essentially work for free, never able to earn much money.
As red tape and labor exploitation has impacted California’s truckers, the industry has fallen short of recruiting enough truckers to fill demand. In October, the American Trucking Association (ATA) revealed the trucking industry was short 80,000 drivers, 30 percent more than before the pandemic.
In the United States, the trucking industry represents 71 percent of transported goods. The percentage is expected to increase overtime, which could leave the ATA searching for 1,600,000 new drivers by 2030, CNN estimated.

Well, given the supply chain issues and a very justifiable fear of rushing headlong into another bust cycle, the O&G industry is expanding it's production quite slowly. Hill, who worked at the Brookings Institution with Danchenko for years before serving as the Russia expert on Trump’s National Security Council and testifying during the Ukraine-focused impeachment proceedings against former President Donald Trump, introduced Dachenko and Steele a decade ago.
The "PR Executive-1" in Durham’s indictment against Danchenko is Charles Dolan, a longtime ally of Bill and Hillary Clinton, whom Durham alleges was an originator of a false dossier claim he passed to Danchenko who then gave it to Steele.
Danchenko, a Russian-born lawyer in the United States, was charged Thursday "with five counts of making false statements to the FBI" that Durham claims he made about the information he provided for Steele's dossier on alleged ties between Trump's 2016 campaign and Russia.
Durham’s indictment stated Danchenko worked as a Russian analyst at "Think Tank-1," Brookings, from 2005 through 2010. Durham also stated "Think Tank Employee-1," identifiable as Hill, "introduced Danchenko to U.K. Person-1," Steele. The indictment said Steele "retained Danchenko as a contractor at U.K. Investigative Firm-1," Steele’s Orbis Business Intelligence — in 2011.
The special counsel also said Hill "introduced Danchenko to PR Executive-1," Dolan, "in connection with potential business opportunities" around February 2016.

At one point, former British spy Richard Seddon was recruited to train operatives at Project Veritas. Seddon owns a company, Branch Six Consulting International, registered to an address in Sheridan, Wyo. Flyover Media, the company that owns the website that published the diary, is registered to that same address.

Other progressive accounts picked up on the encounter and the false claim that Manchin was trying to run them over.

I believe Manchin handled the situation well, being stalked from his yacht to his SUV, and extricating himself from the parking garage, showed me calm perseverance. After a day of backbiting and internal debate among the far-left communist wing and the socialist wing inside the Democrat caucus, Nancy Pelosi was forced to bring the long delayed ordinary infrastructure bill to a vote. 13 republicans supported it. The final vote was 228/206.
This bill has a long backstory {SEE HERE}, as it was originally going to be connected to a massive Build Back Better social spending bill demanded by the communists in the House. However, after months of attempts to structure some way to get two bills out of the House, one of them insanely over-the-top with social spending, eventually the communists were forced to let the original Senate bill come up for a stand alone vote.
With the Democrats needing a win, any win, to show they are capable of doing something…. they put this bill to a vote. The future of their communist social spending bill is unknown.

All whites and Asians are born racist and racism permeates every aspect of society, which should be dismantled and the remains turned over to the kind of dipshit who pushes this nonsense... and are not more focused on war-fighting.
Here’s my view .... We’ve got the best soldiers, airmen, Marines in the entire world. Our soldiers are amazing war fighters. Let them fight. Train them to fight. Let them do what they do best — and stop using the military as a giant social experiment, which is what the left seems to want.

Yet the DOE is moving ahead with its version of "outreach," which consists of Zoom meetings where parents can’t get a word in as ideologues simply lecture.

In at least one "meeting," pro-G&T parents found they literally couldn’t speak, as the DOE disabled their chat function.
Lecturing parents under the pretext of listening to them so you can push a disastrous progressive "reform" that isn’t going to happen is an insulting waste of everyone’s time and money: What a perfect parting reminder of everything New York has come to despise about this mayor.
