[ToloNews] The remains of security forces who fought for the former government are still being held at a government hospital because they have not been identified, a top defense ministry official said on Sunday.
Addressing a gathering of family members of war victims in in the northern province of Badakhshan, the chief of staff of the army, Qari Fasihuddin, said that both the previous and current government had attempted to find the families of the victims but so far there has been no progress.
"A container is full of the physical remains of the previous government’s security forces at (Sardar Mohammad) Daud Khan hospital," he added. "The former government failed to find the families of these military personnel and the Islamic Emirate is also trying to find the families of these dead security forces to hand over the bodies."

[LIBYAREVIEW] The Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) condemned the "unlawful" arrest of one of its Board of Director’s, Abulgasem Shengheer, who was stopped at Maitiga Airport in Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... while returning from abroad with his family."Shengheer was arrested in an arbitrary and inappropriate manner that does not rise to the level of responsibility in dealing with a public and national figure," the NOC said in a statement on Saturday.
"A systematic war is being waged by a coalition of militias, smugglers, corrupt figures or politicians, ideologies and stakeholders, against the NOC in order to blackmail, infiltrate, politicize and redirect it from the neutral position it has maintained over the past years for the benefit all Libyans," the statement added.
The NOC called on the Presidential Council, the Government of National Unity (GNU) and the Attorney General to take all legal measures to release Shengheer.
It also called on the United Nations ...an idea whose time has gone... (UN), Amnesia Amnesty International and human rights ...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you... organizations to intervene immediately to urgently release the Board of Directors’ member, and to hold the kidnappers responsible for his safe return as soon as possible without conditions or restrictions.
The NOC noted "its deep concern about such repeated militia actions that follows the policy of arbitrary and unofficial arrest of public figures, which may have serious repercussions on the conduct of operations in the oil sector."
In a statement, the NOC confirmed the disappearance of two of its employees in mysterious circumstances in Tripoli. On October 18th, the NOC condemned the kidnapping of two of its employees and demanded their immediate release.
It stated that, "whatever the motives and circumstances of the disappearance, whether arrest or kidnapping, the NOC strongly condemns this action.

The customs of the Misrata sea port announced the seizing of about 3.8 million narcotic pills on board a container coming from Malta, on Saturday.
In a statement, the port customs centre confirmed the seizing of a 40-foot container, suspected to be narcotic pills. A customs declaration was submitted and declared as "hospital beds" originating from Malta.
The statement pointed out that the contents of the entire container were unloaded and the seized quantity of drug pills suspected of being narcotic was counted. 3,820,800 pills of medicinal pills bearing the name "TAMOL-K 225" of Indian origin were found. It is known to be dangerous due to its chemical effects on the brain, causing damage to brain cells, including strokes, brain infections, extreme fatigue, weakness of the body’s muscles, agitation and nervousness, auditory and visual hallucinations, lack of awareness and other damages.
Earlier in October, the Anti-Narcotics General Administration (ANGA) arrested an Imam of a mosque in the Tajoura region, eastern Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. [Breitbart] Police arrested a 31-year-old man in Nice, southern La Belle France , on Friday after witnesses saw him strangling a woman in the street.
The attack allegedly happened in downtown Nice along the Rue Trachel at around 3am on Friday, with witnesses claiming that a man had been strangling a woman on the street while yelling "Allahu Akbar!"
Police arrived at the scene and found an injured 40-year-old woman who showed signs that she had been strangled, Actu17 reports.
The victim told police that she knew the man who had assaulted her and officers located the 31-year-old suspect a short time later.
A source close to the investigation said that the suspect would only speak in Arabic and had no identity documentation or weapons on him at the time of the arrest. The victim was taken to a hospital while the police say they are looking at local CCTV footage and are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The case comes just weeks after another man, a 26-year-old illegal migrant from Tunisia, entered the Nice Basilica while yelling in Arabic and later threatened a Roman Catholic church official and spat on the ground before he was arrested by police.

If you lived in Portland during fall, winter and spring, you can understand these people. They are clinically depressed as the sun never shines, it is cloudy, rainy and misty. They are forced to wear masks and can not go to bars and dances. I was the perfect boat sailor as I was only used to the sun for short periods of time. I settled in CO, gods country, until people from CA and OR moved in for legal drugs.

They are forced to wear masks and can not go to bars and dances. I was the perfect boat sailor as I was only used to the sun for short periods of time. NIA said that the preliminary investigation has revealed that arrested accused persons are bully boy associates/OGW (Over Ground Worker) Over ground workers (OGWs) are people who help militants, or terrorists, with logistical support, cash, shelter, and other infrastructure with which armed groups and insurgency movements such as Hizbul Mujaheddin and Jaish-e-Muhammad in Jammu and Kashmir can operate.... s of various organizations and have been providing logistical and material support to the ultras.
Further Investigation in the case continues, it said.

The rockets struck near a Red Islamic Thingy hospital, a bank and the district's water management department, the source added.
The so far unclaimed attack, the first to target the Green Zone since two rockets fired on July 29, comes as authorities conduct a recount of votes cast in an October 10 parliamentary election.
Preliminary results show the Conquest Alliance, the political arm of the Hashed al-Shaabi network of pro-Iranian militias, lost ground in the election.
Hashed leaders have vehemently contested the results and several hundred of their supporters staged a sit-in on an avenue leading to the Green Zone this month in protest.
The powerful network is fiercely opposed to the U.S. presence in Iraq.
Its leaders have repeatedly praised the rocket and drone attacks in recent months that have targeted Iraqi military bases housing U.S. troops, without claiming responsibility.
